I purchased a part (transfer case) from them and it was as described, had fast shipping, & packaged extremely well. They had excellent communication: they went above and beyond in that respect as we had emails back and forth for about a week to make sure I got what I needed. They even threw in a bonus manual shifter at no charge. I would gladly buy from them again and will check with them first from now on.

Horrible customer service, called Tuesday to see if they had it and the price, I found the NEW part for $10 more at sdtrucksprings.com but needed it sooner then it could arrive. Called backed on Wednesday to have the part ready for when I made over an hour trip out to the business. I show up Thursday and they told me I had to wait for someone to go get it, after waiting some time he was not able to get in contact with said guy on the the radio so not having any clue as in how long the wait was going to be I left.

They help u with all ur needs and even go beyond there jobs to try and help u find what u need

Short staffed and disorganized is the feelings I got. Sat around for a extra hour waiting for them to pull some parts. Where nice but don’t tell people to be there at a certain time twice for them to show up and have to wait a extra hour.

I drove almost 4 hours from the philly area because they listed a transmission with lower miles, and much cheaper than I could find closer to me. I did wait a bit for the trans to be loaded onto my truck, but it was a snowy and hectic day for them. We havent installed the trans yet, but it looks good, no rust or visible damage. It was taken out with care, not hacked out like other yards sometimes do. I was treated very well, and it not for the distance, would definitely use this yard again for our shop!

I called asked if they had a particular item the young man told me he would have to call me back, he called me told me that he was looking for it. It took some time but he got it for me thank you.

Could have secured the part my mechanic ordered a little better. It cost my husband an extra hour of labor for the mechanic to prepare the part for installation due to shipment damage. Also, shipping took a week which may or may not be part of the responsibility of S & S Salvage.
