Staff was excellent. Did a great job pruning our trees. Highly recommend.

We have used Bartlett for years concerning the health of our trees and in the past were pleased. This time we contracted them to cut 7 pine trees and remove the debris. The weather had been raining the week before so the job was difficult. The problems were 1. They used oversized equipment for the job, 2 The workers drove the equipment at fast speeds and recklessly free wheeling around the yard. 3. When workers saw me taking pictures they slowed down. 4.workers had no regard for existing plants, trees, and shrubs. 5. While free wheeling they were throwing mud on house and windows. The tree cutting area was over 60 feet from the house yet men brought the equipment 10 feet away. On the final day we had ruts 2.5 feet deep in the yard, debris (limbs, branches, roots, and plastic bottles) all over the yard. A week later the stump removal people came and left huge piles of chips. After several phone calls they came back and removed a truck load of stump chips and filled in 2 of the ruts. Also they turned the hose on and washed the mud from house.On the last day my gardener approached the workers and said they should apologize for tearing the place up which one did come and apologize. Other subs who came on the job said they had never seen such a mess. I reread the contract which clearly stated they were not responsible for any damage. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!THEY WASTED MY TIME AND RYAN JUST DROVE AWAY WITH ME STANDING OUTSIDE WAITING FOR HIM! ALL ON RYAN’s COMPLETELY WRONG ASSUMPTION!!Waited 2 weeks for appt. Ryan comes by my house (I saw him hesitate to pull into my driveway as I was out front waiting for him) but he just pulls away and leaves!!! He sees me outside and just leaves!!! 25 minutes go by, No phone call. Nothing!!I called their office and about an hour past my appt. time, Ryan calls and tells me that he ASSUMED the job was done because some trees were cut already.I said if I wanted the estimate cancelled, I would have called and cancelled it. I have a bunch of other trees I wanted done not just what was already cut. So Ryan asked to come back tomorrow and was sorry for the misunderstanding. There was NEVER a misunderstanding! Ryan made a clearly non-professional decision and just left a client hanging!!I already waited 2 weeks and rearranged my schedule for today 3/19/20. Do you really think I’m going to hire you after you just left me hanging?I told Ryan to forget it, that he lost this job on his assumption!!What professional does stuff like this?? Doesn’t pull in and talk to the client when they are outside waiting on them? I’m truly baffled by Ryan’s horrible decision today. Unbelievable!! Have video from security cameras. May post it.

Im decent at cutting trees, but when my Ash trees got sick I knew who to call. The estimate process was professional as was the treatment specialist who came to take care of my trees. Thanks George for a quick and painless treatment that will most likely save these two trees from annihilation from EAB.

I just had Chase from Bartlett stop by to give me an estimate on staking a tree, and was so impressed with his professionalism, knowledge and honesty. The particular tree I called about wasnt really a candidate so he gave me some other options which I really appreciated and Ill definitely be calling them for all my future tree needs!

Bartlett replied to this. My response: Youve replied to the wrong customer. That is not the story of my experience with your company.Everyone is nice there but their services are severely lacking. They do the bare minimum and frankly it is not worth the money..

Had Chase give estimates, and commissioned work, on a considerable amount of trimming and pruning work. He is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and help. The company was a pleasure to commission and look forward to hiring them again in the future.

They keep the Jungle behind our office trimmed and do a professional job!
