Great service, excellent work and nice people! John’s Tree Service was cutting down trees near my house. When I asked, they looked at the trees I wanted removed and gave me a quote. 2 days later, they came to remove them and did an excellent job. There were 6 very tall pine trees between my house and my neighbor’s; tricky to remove because both houses were right on either side. As they removed one of the tree tops, a branch cracked one of my windows. Immediately, one of the crew members came to tell me what happened and that it would be fixed. John came a couple minutes later, apologized, and it was fixed before they completed the job that day. The whole crew worked very hard, completed the job quickly and did a wonderful job!

On Aug 6th, Johns tree service swiftly & efficiently removed 5 dead trees from our property. During the process, our neighbors sidewalk was damaged with the heavy equipment. Although he promised an immediate fix, it took 2 months to resolve. Our only complaint has been lack of communication during that time. John hired a contractor Sept. 30th for the repair to which our neighbors are now pleased. We received a personal phone call today apologizing for the delay. Thank you John for your commitment to customer service!

Contacted 3 different times over the summer for tree service & never got a call back or visit. Guess they don’t care about customer service?

John was very friendly. He was fair about price and we would definitely use him again and recommend him. Our house looks so much cleaner now without those giant dangerous trees in the way looming all over our roof. He did a great job at a good price and super fast!

I called for an estimate to get 2 trees removed and they said that John would get to the estimate in 2 weeks. After 3 weeks, I called again and asked about the estimate because no one had contacted me. After 4 weeks, still no contact. I called back again and I have to answer the same questions each time. Its an answering service and not helpful. I know its a busy season, but its unacceptable that you dont return phone calls.

Huge thank you to John’s Tree Service. I called John right after part of a 100 foot pine tree fell on our house. John made sure we were safe and talked to me until I was calm. Within 30 minutes John and his crew were at the house cleaning up the mess. We couldn’t be more thankful for John and his crew. Would highly recommend!!

The workers were wonderful. The machine that saws the limbs was a marvel and my 75 year old maple was taken down in one day. They didn’t quite have enough time to finish the clean up but were here a little after 8:00 this AM and were done in a couple of hours. They worked as a team and left their work area wonderfully clean. I was very impressed.

These guys were top notch they were very respectful, all had masks on and took the time to schedule my job and explain how they were going to to do so to start to finish. Highly recommend!!

August 30 2020 I hired this company to-cut down the oak tree that fell on the ground in my backyard! And remove the logs and clean up! For $5,589 and almost after more than a year the logs and the debris are still laying in my backyard! Attached are few pictures to prove the case

Johns showed up the day they were scheduled . The trees we had taken down were in our back yard . They had to bring equipment in to take them away . They did a great job of doing that and cleaning up after . I was very pleased with the work the did. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a tree service..

These are your guys! John is wonderful! He explained everything patiently and kept in communication with me throughout the entire job! The whole crew works hard and were very professional. Pricing was very competitive. Would hire them again and again.. ! Incredible clean up too, not a branch left behind!

They took 6 months to come cut down the trees, which was at least in part was due to weather. Fine. After the trees were down, they never came back to finish removing them, which is what we paid them to do (paid in full when the trees were cut down). We called multiple times, and sent countless emails. Eventually, he stopped responding (prior to that he would say that hed be back). One year after we contracted with them, we had to pay someone else to come finish the job.

Called several other tree company’s and they refused to tackle this job but Johns came out and gave a quote and cut it on the same day!!! I wish I could give more than five stars, these guys know what they are doing and I would highly recommend!!!

First of all we set up a time and he decided to come when he wanted. Which happened to be the day before the set day. Didnt even inform me that this is what he was doing I was at work. Wasnt done correctly not his fault, it was the workers.They had to come back the following week, AGAIN when I wasnt home huge mess. Could go on and on. One good thing.... he was reasonable as far as this price

I question whether any of the people who posted bad reviews actually did business with these guys. We were waiting for 2 weeks after a quote from another tree service and they would not give us courtesy of a call back. I emailed Johns and by the end of the day the next business day, everything was taken care of! Great service, I would HIGHLY recommend

I never give unfavorable reviews. But this guy had me pay up front in full and then would never answer my calls. He came twice, left my yard a mess, and then let winter come and couldn’t finish the job. To this day he will not return my calls. In short, he is a thief with a few saws.

Johns Tree Service was able to help me at a time when I was most need. After a heavy snowstorm had uprooted bushes. I had called another landscaper and waited with no response upon hearing this John was willing to come and fix the situation. He was professional and prompt and charged a very fair price I would highly recommend him to anyone needing any Landscaping work done on their home or business.

Called and spoke to a representative twice, was told John would call me to set up an estimate, never heard back from him.

They left half of the job not done! Did a lousy job trimming back neighbors tree last. Year! Everything is growing on my side again! I called to have them come back and make it right!! Still waiting

Overcharging asking for more than what he tells You not doing the job well saying that o we’ve been here for too long well that’s not my issue that you guys all don’t come on time and don’t put enough hours in and that you guys were very slow working Oh and check this out he will tell you something different so that way you can change your mind he’ll tell you the opposite things that needs to be done landscaping person should not be doing that kind of work it should be making their customer fall in love with the landscaping work that is being done around their house not every time going outside hating the work that they done

Does horrible work. Leaves a Mess. Doesnt Pay his workers. Rips people off as well. Look up this company, theyre so bad that theyre going outta business soon. Bad Business owner.

I was told by 2 different people to use John’ tree service when asking around for someone to trim back a large maple tree AND to do landscaping. Actually I wanted the yard filled in and reseeded. So I called they came and gave me an estimate for the job. I explained how the city put new curbs and sidewalks in and threw dirt and seed and called it done. The dirt washed away, leaving gaps and dips in the yard. I have fallen so I want the yard levered off by filling it in. He told me they would fill in the gaps and He would come and dig up the yard to graduate it down the slope.I told him that there was a huge maple tree that fell down back in 2003 and we had to have the tree taken down. I also told him the present maple tree was planted in 2004 and there are lots of roots. He said no problem. Most of the conversation was yep, yep. So they came on Wednesday the 18th of May cut a few branches and left. Leaving debris on the roof of the garage, driveway and yard. Next day they were back with the large truck and finished trimming and piling the debris into a large pile. Saturday morning they came back and picked up all the debris. John came by a little later to make sure it was all cleaned up and gave me the bill. Saying they will be back on Monday for the yard. So stupid of me wrote a check for the ENTIRE JOB (that wasn’t even completed yet) that was May 21 2016. The check cleared on May 23rd. So I know they got their money.A week goes by and haven’t seen or heard from anyone from the company. So I called them and yet AGAIN I was told “yep yep yep they will be there”. Well a few days later two guys showed up filled in the gaps with dirt doing a half assed job. Took them all of 15 minutes. I called a few days later about it and was told he ran out of top soil and was waiting for it to come in. A FEW MORE days later I called he said we were coming over but it rained. Now A WEEK OR SO later they came and mowed the lawn. A few days after I called he said they could not dig it up, there are too many roots but they mowed the yard. (Each time I call it is in the morning, each time someone come was after 3pm. Now when I first made arrangements for this work, I told them I work evenings and to please come BY 2pm.. ). I told him that he knew the yard had a lot of roots and was told, don’t worry, they would take care of it!I said you got your money I wanted the yard filled in and seeded. They came over put some dirt down in a few spots and around the tree, but NO GRASS SEED. So I call again, he said they were out of grass seed and waiting for it to come in. What kind of landscaping business doesn’t have dirt (top soil) or grass seed, I ask.Anyway it has been about 5 weeks and I still have not gotten the service that I was told I was going to get and the service I paid for wasn’t what I got!!!! They got their money. What I did get is the most expensive lawn mowed one could get. NO grass seed and the roots are still there as raised as they have been. Lesson learned not to pay in full. Do not trust anyone.I’m very disappointed with this company and hope that after me having to write a review that you will try to make it right by completing the job I PAID FOR AND ASKED FOR(and was told “no problem”), or a refund. You’ve had 5 weeks to make this right. After running out of topsoil and then running out of seed and then having excuses about why the job I asked to be done can’t be done even after paying for it! I work very hard for what I do have and what is mine. I’ve fell in my yard as stated before and this has made things more difficult for me. Having something done about the roots was the most important thing I needed done yet you failed to do that!
