Great service. On time,had parts needed and very professional
Recently, we paid $199+--without having anything repaired. All we needed help with was my recent insertion of a new air filter and the little piece to the left of the air filter over which are the words: replace air filter when red. After my attempting this replacement, the ice maker stopped making ice. After extemsive checking of the refrigerator, there still was no ice--and the repairman said we could pay $500+ and have some other refrigerator part replaced--but this would not take care of the ice maker. This was a very unsatisfactory use of our money that provided no help at all. We also wondered why the additional $30 charge on the original charge of $169.
Repairman was great. I had one other professional service that said the reason my freezer wouldnt close was because of a gasket seal and they wanted to charge me almost $500. I also had a local handyman look at the freezer and he also said I needed a gasket seal. Sears professional came in and looked at it for 40 seconds, took out the ice tray bucket and many ice cubes fell. He removed iced from wall of freezer and ice tray, replaced it, and voila! The door closed beautifully. Kudos

The repair man came the day I called! Unexpected promptness! He also quickly diagnosed my issue and didnt overcharge for what he did. The appliance is humming along fine with no further issues. The service wasnt exactly inexpensive, but I believe you pay for what you get. Well done.

We had a hard time getting an appointment and had to wait a couple of weeks to have our treadmill repaired, but once the technician did come he fixed it and the product has been working great.
I was delighted that my repair stop was the first one that day for the technician. He was prompt and very courteous. He checked out what I had wanted done and even did a little extra like lubrication of pulleys and things. After a short time, my 20 year old lawn tractor was as good as new again. I was so pleased that I gave it a thorough cleaning and a paste-was polish. It now looks and performs like the day we bought it new. Many thanks to Sears and the technician.
The repair and servicing was for my Sears Craftsman Lawn Tractor. The technician (Nolan T. - ID # 0012633) was here on time and completed the repair and performed the service. In addition, he inspected the drive and deck belts and determined they also needed replacement, which he did. . He was friendly, professional and thorough and kept my work area neat, tidy and clean. He was efficient, but personable. All in all, an excellent, young technician.
Our refridgerator broke BEFORE Christmas. As of 10th February we STILL do not have a working refridgerator. We had to go out a spend $169 we did not have on a small refridgerator to put in the garage just so we could survive with milk, and a little food. We have to go out to the store every other day to get ice and fresh food.How do you think we feel about your service??PLEASE FEEL FREE TO SHARE THIS EXPERIENCE. The repair person was fine, and they fixed the problem. No complaints there, they did a good job pretty quickly. However, the labor charge for this quick job was through the roof. Way too much money for what appeared to be a simple and quick repair.
With my refrigerator seems to have been resolved. It took several repair calls but the servicemen were super polite and efficient. Sears didn’t charge me for the extra repair calls as everything happened within the 90 day guarantee. Honestly, I blame myself for purchasing a Samsung refrigerator. This is just not a good product and next time I’ll go with a simple Whirlpool.
The Sears Repair team did an awesome job diagnosing the problem and getting it fixed. It took a couple of times to get it right and the billing was incorrect but they fixed that to my satisfaction too. Overall a good experience.
Chad did the best he could, but did not fix the problem. The first time the ice maker called for water after he left the water sprayed out of the back of the fridge just like before. We have a follow up appointment for Thursday 8/2. This will be the fourth visit the techs have attempted to fix the problem. Jim
I was really happy with the service I received on my craftsman lawnmower. Brad was friendly without being obtrusive and he knew what he was doing. My sister and I had tried to fix the problem ourselves but we had not been able to. He showed us exactly what he was doing and explained what we had not done correctly. Then he told us that all in all we had not done too bad. He had it fixed in less than an hour and I will use Sears again. We did not have to haul the mower anywhere; they came to us. This is my yearly preventative maintenance for my washer and dryer.. I purchased the 5 year warranty for both.They services you purchased that have warrantyOne call for both. ON TIME. They take care of it all for you!They let you know when they are going to be there... So no waiting around..Diagnostic tests on both machines.. They Check and clean dryer /lint /build up and makes recommendations for the future safety of our well being.SAVE YOURSELF TROUBLE! CALL THEM !!!Highly recommend SEARS !!
The two service technicians were excellent. Actual time to repair our freezer took more than a month due to restricted access to parts which resulted in loss of food as the freezer totally failed before a final fix was made. Part of this issue was due to our being rural where the technicians only service the area certain days of each week, and another part due to non-availability of parts locally even though a Sears store is located within 10 miles.

The oven seemed to be heating unevenly and burning food. The service tech was very friendly and had a wonderful outgoing and helpful attitude. He checked the calibration and gave me tips such as waiting until the oven is preheated completely before putting in the food since because of the way the oven cycles when preheating. I still have to rotate my foods so thats not optimal but maybe that is a problem with the double oven stoves that has yet to be worked out.
Technician was timely, courteous and knowledgeable. He was here the next day after setting up appointment. But for $300.00 more I could buy a whole new washer

Waited 10 days for appointment. I knew exactly what lawn tractor needed. Knew parts.... guy showed up at 7:30 pm after I waited all day, and did not have one single part I needed. So, he could not fix my tractor! Then tried to say I owed 99$ because I refused to have it fixed!!!!I tried for 2 1/2 hrs the next morning to contact customer service. Every single one was in the Philippines and refused my requests to speak with a supervisor .and could care less! DO NOT USE this UN- AMERICAN Company!

The service repair person was excellent. Sears coodination of the event was poor. Necessary parts had to be ordered by me in advance and did not arrive as promised. Discount was eaten up by postage and handling fee. Service window was 8am to 5 pm.

#000738542061431. The service rep was not interested in performing the warranty work only in selling another warranty. In the first 30 minutes of the service call, he received 2 texts, an email and a phone call from his boss reminding him and pushing him to sell me another warranty. Rep tried to tell horror story upon horror story of people who had appliances and didn’t buy the SECOND set of 3 year extended warranties. He stood around while waiting on the range to heat up rather than making efficient use of time to begin reviewing the dishwasher. Call to boss to ask about the part availability. I could hear her talking to him. Rather than worrying about the part, she immediately began an unprofessional commentary on how now I would see why I needed another warranty. The rep kept trying to twist costs to instill fear. Price for add on was quoted, email sent with different price and rep quoting yet another price. He was creepy lacking social skills. The female boss sounded like an uneducated, unprofessional red neck. I equipped my new kitchen with Sears appliances to include a gas/electric/convection range, convection microwave, dishwasher and side by side refrigerator. I bought extended warranties on all the products except the microwave. As you can see I dedicated a large sum of money to Sears and to my trust in the company. When Sears sells a warranty the company should set up yearly visits to ensure that they are providing service for the cost and to show the client that the company is dedicated to service. This experience was disappointing from start to finish and yet somehow that nut got me to agree to allow your company to replace the dishwasher part. I expect that the service rep on November 25th will be a much better representation of expertise, professionalism and be graced with social skills. Easy to schedule online, technician was great, but Sears charges way too much! Otherwise they would get 5 stars.
The first call I made to Sears on my Refrigerator was 6/29/18. After multiple trips it seems to be cooling after the last attempt on 8/29/18. In parts and labor they have spent more than the price of 2 new refrigerators to repair mine. DO NOT PURCHASE EXTENDED WARRANTY FROM SEARS. THEY WILL LET YOU SIT FOR 2 MONTHS WITHOUT A RUNNING REFRIGERATOR. THIS IS THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED.
This was the second time Ive had someone out for the same problem with my dishwasher. This time the guy actually replaced a part instead of just moving the drain hose up a little higher. Hopefully this repair will last longer than 2 months. Im just glad I bought the warranty plan or Id be paying more for repairs than a brand new dishwasher costs.
I have a home warranty with American Home Shield and Sears Appliance Repair was subcontracted through them. My home warranty set up the appointment and charged me my normal service fee of 80.00. The contractor contacted me and asked me what the problem was and I told him my ice maker didn’t work and he said that wasn’t covered under my my warranty which I already knew and was told by AHS that I would just pay Sears for fixing it but no service charge from them. The guy told me to go get a new filter first to see if that worked and I did. It didn’t help so he came on to my house. He then discovered it was just frozen up and he thawed it out with a hair dryer like thing in about 5 minutes. He then said he had to charge me another service fee of 90.00 for coming out and then charged another 150.00 plus 60.00 for the new filter held me go get. I also had the 80.00 service fee from my home warranty from AHS. It cost a total of 380.00 to unthaw some ice in the waterline in about 5 minutes. I called my home warranty company and they said they were not supposed to charge me a service fee since they set up the appointment. I called Sears twice and never could get anyone who could speak or understand English and therefore could not understand my problem. Then, they would “put me on hold” and just hang up. Absolutely terrible and I was definitely taken advantage of.
As always, I was very satisfied with the service on my craftsman tractor. The rep was on time, professional and knew what needed to be done.

Technician installed new alternator BUT lawn mower still does not work. Sears needs to replace my mower pronto. It has not worked since late March and now mowing season is almost at end.

Tech did not diagnose the problem correctly. He simply restarted the unit but the water p[ump had failed and needed to be replaced.

We were not very pleased with the customer service scheduling process and order fulfillment. The technicians who came out were great but after the first tech came out a part was ordered to fix the problem - we were fine with that. However, when the part arrived and the second tech came to install we discovered it was for a refrigerator not a dish washer. Finally the right part was sent and a very friendly technician installed it for us. Our dishwasher works now. (The whole process took 2 1/2 months.) I also was very displeased with the wait time where someone would come between 8am-5pm. It was very difficult to arrange our schedules to accommodate 3 different appointments.
I am very disappointed in sears service.though the repair man fixed the problem with the laundry center he fail to slide the unit back into its place in the room. claiming he had a bad back.i do not want anyone to hurt themselves but I told them it was a laundry center aka stacked washer and dryer. why would they send a person who was unable to move such a device.I called them and they said they would send some to fix the situation and that person was a no show. my tenet waited all day for some one who did not have the decency to come and fix this companies laziness .
The service tech Frank was wonderful only complaint I have is thetime it takes to get someone to do the job. A full week or moredidnt make me happy.

Sears has been screwing me over with my washer since December. I let them know I was about to lawyer up if this next repair doesnt work...and they try yet again to not allow me to replace it like they keep saying
Took a week to get appt and tech 3 1/2 hours later than promised in arriving - poor communication by sears - but he was polite, repaired frig, and cleaned up after himself.
After four technician visits and two miss diagnosis my riding mower oil leak could not be repaired due to a seized clutch. Therefore, I cant rate my repair because my repair never happened.
The sears repair man was on time, did a great job in finding the problem and fixing it.
