My wife and I recently purchased a new Kia K5 at Janesville Kia. We were treated quite well both in terms of our Honda Civic trade-in value and the purchase price for the K5. Our salesman was helpful and spent extra time with us to make sure we understood all the features of the K5. We also sold Janesville Kia our 2005 Honda S2000 in a cash sale. We received a very fair price for the S2000. We plan to purchase another vehicle from Janesville Kia in the future.

I recently had a recall service done in July at Kia in Janesville on my 2019 Sportage. The shop fixed it up perfect. I wandered around while waiting, looking at the new cars in the showroom. I was thinking about the 30,000 mile upcoming service that my vehicle will need, which was pointed out to me in a nice way. The service took about an hour. Clean, neat & tight service. My car wasnt damaged; the paint was still good. Consider me a customer, even if I have to drive 33 miles to have it done. Car owners are finicky, which I am of that class. I want my car looking like itself going in and coming out and Janesville Kia did a great job and cared for my ride.

Second Brand new KIA....Love it. Bought a brand new 2021 forte last week. Sales team was amazing. Joe is a great guy. Pressure free sales. About a week after buying thought there was a problem, called to have it addressed and was treated very poorly by Jeff Murray.... so bad. He was just awful. Just the worst service Ive ever had in my entire lifeThe very next morning, before they were even technically open Brock called us to let us know that there was no issue and the car checked out. Brock was wonderful. Made up for the awful way we were treated by Jeff.Brock made me feel good about my investment, like the rest of the staff did. I am so glad Jeff Murray was not the last person I spoke to or I would probably consider never going back.Thanks you KIA of Janesville staff for making up for this one terrible employee and his horrendous customer service. I hope I never have to deal with him again, and hope his poor customer service never reflects on the stellar abilities of the rest of the staff you have on site.

We had the pleasure of Jordan being our wonderful salesman. I have been to a lot of dealerships, none of them would come close to the wonderful experience at this one. Not only was everybody nice, and a delight to be around. They made you feel comfortable and really made sure they got you in the vehicle you came there for. Always take my vehicle here for service. Theyre very friendly and very reasonably priced. You wont find a better value in an oil change anywhere else! Was gonna buy a car here, but they didnt have quite what I was looking for. While considering one option, the salesman was very friendly and helpful, not pushy like you might expect. While I didnt make the purchase, I am thankful for how I was treated. In the future, I will check with them first for a vehicle if needed. Im the meantime, Ill continue to enjoy their service quality.

This was not the best experience. Ive been at regular at Russ Darrow Kia in Madison, but I recently moved to Janesville, so I thought this would be a similar experience. It was not. The one good thing was that every person I spoke with was very pleasant. Hence the 2-star rating, instead of 1-star.First, I show up promptly at my appointment time. There is one person at the counter and they already have a customer. No problem. I end up waiting 15 minutes before I get to speak with the employee because she and the customer in front of me were doing so much small talk. Where they grew up and how those small towns are different from Janesville were some of the conversations being held.Eventually I hand over my keys for my car to be worked on. I am told that the person who made my appointment was new and messed up, and that the mechanic who was working that day was not certified to do the recall work I brought it in for. So I agree to have them do what little they can. I am told that it will take 90 minutes and then they will call me back.I go home and after three hours, no one has called me. I call them for an update and they apologize for not calling me back. Then they tell me that it turns out the mechanic is certified to do the recall work I originally brought my car in for. Alright, great. Now they tell me that it will still be a while longer, and on top of it, they inform me that my rotors need to be replaced, and it will cost $700. I agree to it.Hours later, I finally go pick my car up and the bill is $830. $130 over what I was quoted at.Between the misquote, the lack of call backs, and taking over twice as long to complete than they said it would, I will not be coming back to this Kia. Its unfortunate, because I live 5 minutes from this location, but I will be driving 40 minutes to go to Madison instead. A shame.

Just bought a used Kia Optima LX from here. Joe was very easy to work with and made it very easy for me! I will say the only reason i wont give it 5 stars. They did not do a good job at cleaning the car/detailing it. In between seats and under seats still had lots of hair and other things from previous owner, the dash wasnt very clean. I had to clean the inside myself to get it to my needs. So thats why I give 4 star and not 5. Would never ever go here to get it detailed as I did a better job in an hour at home with a shop vac and rag. Joe was great though!

I would never purchase another vehicle from or recommend Janesville Kia to anyone. Janesville Kia’s service department is negligent. I asked them to preform full diagnostics on a vehicle they sold to me and all that was done was an (incomplete) oil change. I was told the car was fine to drive when it was in fact not and they would have known that had they done proper diagnostics. Stranded on the road 9 months pregnant TWICE because of their incompetence. They have done nothing to remedy the situation. Avoid Janesville Kia and their shady business practices at all costs.

Drove from Madison to Janesville for an appointment to make a deal on a vehicle. I even emailed confirmation that the vehicle was still available because we’re coming from Madison to get it. Representative said it was available and looked forward to seeing us in less than an hour. My wife and I drove to Janesville and the car we came to buy was sold right before our appointment. The salesperson was horrible. It’s like he watched a “training video” on how to be a good salesman. His script was ridiculously transparent! So instead of leaving with our vehicle, we are going elsewhere. Never to this location!!!

I bought a Chevy Cruze from Janesville kia I had it for about five months, my wife was driving to work one day and notice that on the instrument cluster the car said oil pressure low so she pulled over had the car towed to the Janesville kia to have a look at it, they determined all the car needed was an oil change so I was like ok go head. Picked the car up a couple days later the everything seemed fined until the very next day I was driving to work the same issues came up with the oil pressure so I pulled over and called a mechanic who came and looked at the car and pretty much told me it need a new engine I wasn’t too happy with that news so I had it to to a auto shop and the told me the same thing I need a new engine. I brought this up to Janesville kia and they were no help they tried selling me a new car that they would roll the negative equity over on or pay $4500 them to put a new engine in I can’t afford that. Now I’m stuck paying for a car that doesn’t work. Don’t waste your time and money. My wife was actually contacted by kia of America they told her to contact them privately with our contact info which we did and we have yet to hear from them.

Let me start by saying this is partly my fault for not reading the fine print. But I went in for a commuter cheaper reliable car. Girlfriend was so the me found what u wanted they did financing signed all paperwork not being full aware they added a 2500$ warranty of which I would not have added, as I stated cheap commuter car. Nonetheless when I should of read all paperwork as they did not say this was an option. Girlfriend was there and agreed. But they knew we were ina hurry as we needed to get home and feed our kids but they used that to their advantage to scam that extra 2500 plus another 1500 in other options I wouldn’t of added. Thanks Kia. Will not ever be coming back.

We purchased a 2021 Kia K5 GT last week and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. Our salesperson Cory was very knowledgeable and helpful. He asked what things we were looking for in a vehicle and then gave us some ideas and choices. He gave us his undivided attention throughout the process and listened to everything we had to say. Purchased a 2013 Chevrolet Cruze in December. Explained that I was pregnant and needed a reliable vehicle with a low payment. Our salesperson Hayley said that to sell cars you have to “tell people what they want to hear.” I am so sorry I did not walk out then. They explained the Cruze just came in and they had not had time to do a full detail, but that they would vacuum it prior to taking it home. They did not vacuum the car but had time to install wheel locks and anti-theft and charge me for it. The Cruze displayed a low oil pressure light and a warning to stop the engine, 4 months after purchase, leaving me stranded on the side of the road a week before I was due to have a baby. I called the service department and they advised not to drive the vehicle. I had the Cruze towed to Janesville Kia, and I asked them to do full diagnostics. I was told all the car needed was an oil change and nothing else was wrong. On the oil change inspection sheet, it said that the tire pressure and washer fluid was checked and filled, however when it was returned to me the back tire was still low on air and the washer fluid was still empty. Driving the vehicle to work the next day, the same low oil pressure warning came back and the car was now making a grinding sound, leaving me stranded AGAIN. I had the vehicle towed to an independent mechanic who reported that my engine was seized. The Cruze had 2 pages of engine codes. Janesville Kia service department did not in fact do any diagnostics at all, like I had asked, they only did the (not even complete) oil change and looked at nothing else. The oil pan and pressure was not checked nor was a code scanner plugged in. I would not have continued to drive the car had I known something was wrong. When we went to Janesville Kia to try and remedy the situation, both the sales and service managers were extremely rude. They offered no solution other than to purchase another vehicle from them, with a large sum of negative equity attached. The salesperson we spoke with literally stated he “was trying to find a new job because they aren’t the nicest here,” and I couldn’t agree more. Janesville Kia’s service department was negligent in doing proper diagnostics on my vehicle and it cost me my vehicle. Since they have dodged phone calls and voicemails regarding the situation. I would never purchase another vehicle from Janesville Kia and would never recommend them to anyone as this has been an absolutely horrible experience.

Terrible service. My husband had been in contact with this dealership about a vehicle before it was even listed with the interest and intent to buy. We have been shopping for a very specific vehicle for a while now which this vehicle met all our needs. He was told that it was not available because it needed a part repaired and he would be contacted right away when it was ready to be looked at. Instead they blew him off, even though he had called twice after the initial contact, and they sold the vehicle to another person without even contacting him. Maria said it was because she had yesterday off. Very disappointed in the customer service here.

I leased a KIA Telluride 2 years ago, but not at this dealership. Been going to this dealer for all my maintenance, though. My lease is up in 3 weeks and went in today to finance a lease buyout. We want to keep the car and they are marking the news ones up everywhere. When you lease they give you a residual value to lock in the price at the end of the lease. Well Janesville Kia came back and added $1300 to the MSRP just because they feel the need to have their hand in the pot. I was told “We are adding it because we are taking care of you.” Well now you lost a future customer, and also lost my maintenance business. Hope that’s worth the $1300.

I wanted a Kia due the ratings that they have received. I did a lot of research on finding a vehicle. As I was filling out my paperwork, my name was misspelled I told them as soon as I saw it and was told it would be taken care of. I denied the limited warranty (supposed to cover paint, wheels, electrical etc). I felt pressured the second time I came in to correct paperwork that was not done properly. (Should have known at this point). For the past three months, been paying on a car that my name was not spelled right that should have been fixed before sending any paperwork out. I scheduled an appointment to have my tires looked and I was told to wait by service desk inside kia. Not one person talked to me so I asked an associated and they told me to pull my car around and wait by service, I sat in my car for 20 minutes and no one came to speak to me so I left. After the last snowfall, my whole front end was completely chipped and I was told to bring it in. After bringing it in, I was told that the warranty doesn’t cover it. Sugar on top of the sundae, Ive currently been waiting to get my oil changed for the past hour and a half at not the kia location. So 2020 Kia Rio has a different filter, they called kia directly for the part they said that they have it and it should be here in five minutes. That was an hour and fifteen minutes ago. They finally showed up (mind you where I am from the store is less than five minutes away) and with the wrong part. I like kia as a vehicle, but Janesville Kia needs to work on some things and would highly not recommend.

We bought a 2020 Kia Niro LXS today. Bryce was so nice and hilarious! Rudy ran our credit right away and talked over all options with us to stay within our budget. Within 3.5 hours we did the test drive, found the right purchase plan for us and did all the paperwork, while they had the car washed, detailed and made sure it had a full tank of gas! My experience has been terrible with the service department. My wife has taken our car out 5 times to have a Tire Sensor fixed and after 2 months it has not been resolved. We waited weeks with no returned phone calls after numerous attempts. Very unprofessional.The KIA service department went above and beyond to get this issue resolved. It took an additional 2 months, but they did not give up until they fixed it. They found out that KIA had a bad batch of sensors after replacing all four on my car. Brock kept me informed as to progress each week. The beginning was unfortunate, but he took personal responsibility to resolve the problem.

I went to go purchase a Toyota Camry they had listed for 11,270 hoping to get it down to 10k flat because the transmission fluid (which costs 5k to replace) hadn’t been replaced. Never step foot in this dealership if you’re hoping to save money! They rose the price to 12,500 and wouldn’t bring the price down at all! And that’s not even mentioning the mountain of fees they tacked on which added up to a whopping 15k. For a Camry. I drove here all the way from Milwaukee hoping to get somewhat decent customer service and all I got was sleazy business men trying to rip me off. What a joke, stay far from this dealership and try to get a deal on the car you want from a private individual.

If you want to buy a brand new car, ask for Teegan at Kia Janesville. Teegan is the man for the task. He is sharp, friendly, knowledgeable, and right on point with everything you need to know about a car. He makes sure everything is taken care of the first time around. His personality is amazing. He has become our go to car salesman in our family. Someone asked me, what made y’all decide to go Kia? I said, it was the salesman, Teegan. We were initially just looking, but Teegan was so awesome we decided to commit to buy.

Great service. Only reason why its a 4 and not a 5. Is that if their mechanics and guy washing car would do more work and less conversations, I would of been out of there 20 mins earlier then it took. Watched them spray the back of my car for a least 5 mins while they stood there talking.

About a month ago, I came in to the dealership looking for a 2021 Kia Soul. Not only was it front and center in a sparkling clean showroom, Teegan got everything handled for me in a very timely, and also Covid cautious manner! Everyone that works there is super friendly, and there was no unnecessary pressure that you usually get at a lot of dealerships. Teegan is a super cool guy, and our test drive and paperwork process felt more like hanging out with a friend than it did a business transaction. :) Thank you all so much again! I recently had my Sorento serviced at Janesville Kia and my family and I have been having our vehicles serviced (my Sorento prior to this one, my husbands Soul and my daughters Soul) there for the last four to five years and will continue, I dont have one bad thing to say about them. All employees that I have ever encountered (Service and Sales Departments) there, have always been genuinely attentive to any concerns we may have and are knowledgeable in their positions. I like most that I am comfortable when I go in, never having to worry about pushy sales persons. I like doing business there and would recommend Janesville Kia to anyone looking to service or purchase a vehicle.

If businesses are willing to include top notch service in the cost of a transaction I’m buying. Kudos to Janesville Kia for the high quality service despite being part of a huge corporation. I needed a sliding door repaired and a set of tires, though I was not prepared to purchase the latter. By the time my repairs were completed my door was affordably repaired and I had four new tires and a front end alignment (also, needed but not affordable at the time). I was able to set up affordable payments, which helped me get needed repairs at a rate and payment that was doable for my family. Service was friendly and helpful and I left feeling like I was able to solve multiple issues without feeling pushed. No buyers remorse. Thank you Brock and Danny and the Technicians for your professional service.

Terrible experience. Kept adding warranties I never asked for. I asked for the standard warranty. Got the out the door price and when signing papers it was 2000 more than what I was showed before. Went to a different dealership and got the exact same car for same price without putting a down-payment down either.

I put the special coating on my Soul and have had nothing but problems with it. The latest being water spots. That was something that they claimed would not happen. I took it to Janesville KIA and they said that they would reapply the coating. Ok. They also said they would call me to set up an appointment. That was over a week ago and I havent heard a word from them. BTW, the sealant/coating cost well over a thousand dollars. Dont waste your money. There are sealants you can buy that are higher rated and far less. Very disappointing experience.

I purchased a 2020 Kia Sorento from Teegan Lentz. He was very helpfulnot pushy. They let you test drive any vehicle you want and encourage it. easy to finance and great terms and rates. The only things better than my brand new Kia are the people who sold it to me. Tristan was friendly, knowledgeable and exactly how a salesman should be in every way. Rudy made the financing happen and got me an even better rate than my credit union. The whole process was as pleasant as buying a car can be. I already know I will love my new car as much as the last two Kias I owned. Their quality and longevity is amazing. Kia of Janesville impresses.
