I got to this place 1/2 an hour before closing on Labor Day and I told them I’d be happy to make an appointment if they didn’t have time so they could enjoy their holiday. They said no problem, they’d do it right then happily. A 15 minute job turned into a 45 minute one and they were just as informative and happy to help as their closing time came and went. I’d recommend them to anyone. Super nice guys 😊

We were on our way back from California to Philadelphia when we touched the 5k miles for oil change in our RV, called several companies and Grease monkey team was very welcoming and accommodative to complete our oil change quickly for us to continue the journey. They also checked other oil conditions and recommended additional change which I saw were due and did those too. They have right tools and tech people to do the work. I felt very confident about their work. While I was there during the oil change I saw many customers who were repeat customers. Highly recommend this place.

The guys that work here have been AMAZING to me! I went in for a quick oil change before a long road trip with my trail blazer and they found a few other issues they were able to address right away. Great fair pricing, they talked to me with respect and in detail explained everything. Made my trip there and back safely. The next week or so I brought in a Jeep I just got and we have a plan for my A/C issues on this car at a wonderful price! Just all around a great little shop and the workers are awesome! I will tell anyone and everyone to go here, especially Service members and their families!!!

I came in for an early oil change (I wasnt quite due for one) and am SO glad I did! The service men found that the place that had previously put oil in had used the wrong type!! I was literally on my way to seizing my engine and it would have been soon. Of course, I wound up taking their recommendations and had to spend more than I was originally planning on, but I was not pressured into using high performance materials if I didnt feel it was needed. I still was in and out of there in a very short time, payed a low rate, and the servicemen were great. Thanks for saving my car guys!

I had a very weird day prior and everyone here was so friendly and helpful. Everyone was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure my experience was a good one. They even asked, and listened, to me vent about my day prior to going there and :) One of my best customer service experiences! Highly recommend this place!

We showed up, and were quickly ushered into a waiting bay. The crew proceeded to check lights, wash windows, and initiate the oil change without any excess speech besides a friendly initial exchange. My oil didnt need to be changed, so no charge for something they didnt need to do.. which was great!When my cat didnt start as i was ready to leave, they quickly diagnosed the issue with recommendations on how to fix it, got it started for me and got me on my way.Ill only recommend this place as far as convenient, friendly, and honest oil changes go.

These guys rocked. Help me understand what was going on with my car and what I should do and where to take it. Quick and painless and didn’t try to haggle me into anything. Initially went in for an oil change and didn’t need it but went ahead instead and changed the transmission fluid for me. Definitely will be coming back for all my vehicle concerns

When I pulled in the guy that I Talked with said this engine takes a certain oil and filter. Then he showed me on the computer. He new exactly what my vehicle took. He then told me it was very important to use that certain oil because that is what the manufacturer recommended.Great job.

First time going to grease monkey, went to Janesville, Wi location and James the shop manager was more than great. Checked everything I wanted and more. Got me a discount and signed up for discounts in the future. Friendly atmosphere, they were talkative, funny, and personable. It didn’t take them long, they have got a good crew that do jobs the right way.

This place is great. Awesome knowledgable staff. - took fiances car in because she thought she needed oil change (she was wrong) and they checked oil and instead of taking money and selling her the service they were honest and told her that her oil was fine and still had 1200 miles left. They even still cleaned windows and refilled fluids. Because of that I continue to come back to this shop for oil changes.

Every time I go in, they go above and beyond for my oil changes and such trying to save me money. My hood was messed up and they found a fix without me asking for help. Also, they know how to have fun but stay professional at the same time as exceeding expectations I have. Well worth.

Went in for an oil change. The technicians showed me a rather bad head gasket leak. They told me that they could not perform an oil change without first replacing the gasket. My initial reaction was one of anger. I was all set to take my car elsewhere. The boss, James, then told me that it would not be that much to replace the gasket. He then gave me a price, which I liked. I asked him what day I could bring the car in. He told me that he already had a gasket, and that he could do the repair in about 45 minutes. I agreed to his time frame. He then proceeded to do the repair in about half the time, including changing the oil. I then received a discount for the repairs. I was quite pleased

They did a decent job of changing my oil. We all know that there is $$ to be made from the ancillary items such as wiper blades and other filters. I thought $34 was high for a cabin air filter. But they gave me a Senior discount, so that gives them three stars.The place is not particularly clean, but I think you could sit in your vehicle if you wanted to.My biggest gripe is that the day after my oil change I got a low tire pressure warning⚠️.I checked my invoice and they noted they checked tire pressures. So either they lied or I have a leaking tire. It has been a week now and the errant tire is holding just fine. So I suggest that they skipped the tire pressure check. ✔

I brought my wifes SUV to have the brakes and tie rods serviced. They didnt have many customers in during this time so the ENTIRE team all worked on it. The best part is that everyone, from the boss on down, were as concerned about her safety as I was. They all were friendly but very respectful, they they explained what was wrong and what needed to get done. At one point they even thanked me for my service to the country. In a nutshell these men were on point and are a great team. Something I know a little about. I would recommend them 1000 times out of 999 times.

We get oil changes all over the US. This Grease Monkey was one of the best. I chose them based off the interaction we had on the phone. In person they did not disappoint. The staff was great! Yesterday was my first time at Grease Monkey Janesville and I will now be a customer for life. They were professional and fast. The prices were great. Most of all.....loved the guys! They were funny and kind and made great conversation during our oil change. They made us feel very welcome and even talked to my almost 16 year old daughter about what she needs to do when the car is hers and how to keep up on the maintence. I wish I could give them 10 stars.

I think there should be maybe a person or 2 extra there. It seemed like they were short handed with how they were kinda scattered and slow service but, overall professional and informative. They didnt put a cover on the front of the car so oil handprints was on the front fenders.

After waiting 45 minutes past my scheduled appointment time, I pull into the oil change bay just to be told they dont have the right oil for my car to be able to complete the oil change. When I scheduled the appointment all of my vehicle information was provided so this should have been checked prior to me being there. Pricing also seemed outrageous, glad they were not able to preform my service so I didnt get gouged for over $100 on my oil change. Service crew was nice, knowledgeable, and apologized though.

I went there to get an oil change after getting a new car. The oil and brake fluid were so bad that they took the time to do the oil change twice and suck out the bad break fluid until it was close to what it should be! The service team even took the time to have me examine the right color that the oil and brake fluid should be and they even advised me to get a brake fluid flush in the near future to prevent corrosion. They installed new filters and even topped off all my fluids. I am very confident in taking my car there in future maintenance visits because they are really knowledgeable about how to keep the car running like new!

They offer headlight replacement. It was $30 for bulb and to replace it.

Been going here for the past 2 plus years and have always been treated well, until this NEW MANAGEMENT came.Went in for a coolent flush and asked to have my front end looked at.They NEVER told me how much it was gonna be before starting so Im thinking the regular price.They charged me $109 for a coolent flush. Which was done by someone who NEVER done one before WTH. Ive NEVER paid that much here before. Prior to coming here the dealership told me I needed new control arms in the front and showed me the damage. I asked the staff here about there diagnosis on my front end and he said my front end was in good condition smh Yall gotta do better. Man I miss the old staff and manger Kevin

Been coming here for a few years now and i have not been disappointed once! Most places always tell you that you also need this and that fixed blah blah and pressure you into purchasing extra stuff that you didn’t go in for. These guys are honest and tell you that you may have this and that problem but give you a timeline on when it’s appropriate to get it fixed and never pressure the customers. This is the place to get your oil changed and other car related fixes in janesville hands down!
