The first thing that irritated me was that they were hired to do mitigation and repair for water damage. For some reason they closed out the mitigation claim and started all over for a new claim for repair causing a delay. This also meant a whole new group of people had to come and take pictures which meant more delay. They also told me my vanity did not need to be replaced BUT PUT A REQUEST THROUGH MY INSURANCE for one anyways. Without asking me first. Then they tried to use this as an excuse as to why the claim was delayed. Some parts are on back order they said. Umm I didn’t even order a vanity so how can it be on back order!? As of now I am waiting on the contractor to come and review the damage for a final walkthrough. My appointment was at 9 but they marked it as 10 so now I am waiting an hour for them to come. This is the worst customer service. While the reps are nice I have to call multiple times to get someone to reply and am constantly waiting on a call back. Date of loss was July 4 and I am still waiting.

Complete kitchen renovation in 2014. PDR did an amazing job designing the kitchen and completing the job. My kitchen turned out amazing! I see here complains about the job taking too long. I felt the same at that time but now listening to my friends who do similar jobs with other companies, I am convinced, I hit the jackpot. They were caring, professional, responsive. I would highly recommend Paul Davis especially in time of crisis.

Paul Davis Restoration was assigned to us by our insurance company following major damage to our roof in a storm. And Im so happy they were! They handled the removal of the tree limbs and then patching of our roof with lightning speed and utmost professionalism. We will not hesitate to work with Paul Davis Restoration again in the future and happily refer them to everyone we know.

Our assigned project manager, Randall, communicated with us and promptly answered any of our questions. We had an issue with the color of the shingles selected by the roofers which he resolved very quickly. It was clear to see that Paul Davis is dedicated to providing high quality services.

This office is by far the best ive ever worked with. With a recent death in the family they were able to come out almost immediately and help us with providing an estimate and their services to myself and family in this horrible time for us. Phenomenal. Major water leak discovered in my home impacting wood flooring in our living/dining area; kitchen cabinets; and secondary bedroom. After contacting my insurance carrier to begin a claim, I was contacted by a representative from Paul Davis within 40 minutes!!!! That afternoon, a crew arrived at my residence to immediately begin the mitigation process and determining the extent of the damage and repairs to be needed. The first crew led by Scott (??) were tremendous. Patient; knowledgeable; and professional. Could not have had a better interaction. Explained everything in detail; set up all of the mitigation equipment; cleaned my homes areas that required demolition to like new; and explained the next steps. The following morning, I was contacted by Tammy who was the young lady responsible for monitoring and taking all necessary readings to ensure the processes/equipment was doing what was required. She visited twice; both times extremely professional and courteous; and again answering all questions with patience and expertise. This morning; as the equipment was removed, information she provided for next steps and the name of the next contact person from Paul Davis was GREATLY appreciated. Very professional and client/customer-centric; which I value. The communication from this company to me is outstanding........................

They are a nationally reputable company and the Jax franchise values quality and customer service across the board. During my loss, I was impressed with the courtesy calls from their technicians and their professionalism when on site.

Horrible place to work, an even worse place to trust to fix your home/business after a loss. Trust me, I was there for over 18 months. I sold over 8 million dollars for this company who forced me to sign a waiver stating I wouldn’t sue for the monies owed to me for business brought in to the company.Let me say this, read thoroughly the negative reviews on this company, because if you decide to to trust them to work for you, that’s the experience you’re in for. 9 times out of 10, it won’t work out in your favor. After the hurricane came through last year it proved to be difficult to find a company that was willing, able, and competent enough to perform the jobs. I work for a 434 unit condominium, so we had more than a fair share of homes that needed to be dealt with. I was put in contact with Ryan Warren and Thomas Connors with Paul Davis. They made the process so easy. Once they took the reins on this I didnt have to lift a finger. This company is a nightmare. Our HOA hired them and we have had to deal with their incompetence. We were told our job was “easy” and would take about 6 weeks. It is now 6 months! We endured 3 additional mold tests until we gained clearance, and they failed to complete the final tasks of painting in a quick manner. They told us certain things would be done at times for us to learn that they were not, they shut off the ac unit without approval, they broke and then lost a cabinet door. They have spent weeks repairing a kitchen cabinet while my husband and I sit and pay a mortgage for a property that should be on the market. With each call, it is as if we’ve become a running joke to them. They do not care about people. Do not use them.

Last year right before the holidays got into full swing I had a main water line to my sink in my kitchen break causing the house to suffer water damage particularly to our hardwood floors. It could not have been worse timing as I had just had two back to back surgeries, had some health issues I was trying to deal with while working, the holidays were upon us and our son on his way home for the holidays. Paul Davis made a stressful situation as painless as possible. They took on all of the planning, mitigation and executed all of the work from drying, helping us pick out product, moving us out, replacing and fixing what was needed and moving us back in. They did this in a timely, efficient. affordable and most importantly in a thoughtful and caring manner. They did a great job working directly with our insurance company. They took time to listen in a compassionate and caring way to better establish what was important to us. They were respectful and mindful of our crazy schedules and handled our belongings with care. They are more than a restoration company by the time the job was finished they were like family. Their staff is top notch. They are incredibly knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I was referred to Paul Davis Restoration by my homeowners insurance company after my neighbors water heater flooded my townhome. Within an hour of my insurance company contacting them I received a call from the company. I gave her details of what happened and she informed me that a technician would be contacting me when hes on the way to my house. The technician, TJ, called about an hour later saying he was on the way and would be here in about 45 minutes.True to his word, TJ arrived at my house 45 minutes later. TJ was the epitome of professionalism, very easy to talk to, and patiently answered all my questions. He identified moisture spots that went farther into my living room than I originally thought and discovered moisture in my laundry room and storage closet. He took extra care in protecting my walls before removing the baseboards by scoring the paint on the top edge. His attention to detail resulted in no further damage to my walls. Additionally, he was proactive in ensuring the best outcome and customer experience by placing extra fans and dehumidifier in my living room. His forethought presented great results in expediting the drying process. When he came back the next day my living room and laundry room were dry. The storage closet still has fans but it also had the most water.My insurance adjuster came out the day after the fans were placed. He raved that TJ did a phenomenal job removing the baseboards. And stated that hes never seen baseboards removed without damage to the walls (i.e., holes in the drywall and paint being ripped up the wall). He told me that Paul Davis Restoration is the best around. I agreed because I had already determined that on the first day.TJ is a true gem and excellent as what he does. His professionalism, attention to detail, work ethic, rapport with customers, and communication skills are beyond reproach. This was my first time ever dealing with water damage in my home and he quickly put my mind at ease about the whole water mitigation process. Heaven forbid that I ever have flooding in my home again but if I do, TJ and Paul Davis Restoration is who I would want for mitigation. Came out after hurricane. Did a inspection then proceeded to demand that we owed them 275.00 for inspection and said that we would get it back with it applied towards the deductable. Did this to basically try and lock themselves into getting the job. We ended up going with another company due to this practice. Be careful with this company!Check the better Business Bureau website before doing business with this company.

Paul Davis recently did a restoration/remodel on our bathroom. It is gorgeous. So why did I only give them 3 stars? The project took five months. FIVE months for a bathroom. In the middle of the project personnel got changed and I do have to say that things picked up with the new project manager. Would I recommend them to my friends. Probably but I would warn people that you have to be on top of them. I didnt do that and I got flustered with the whole process. Also, during the initial phase be specific with what you want so they estimate and the final bill arent so far off.I do love my new bathroom though...had the project moved along faster they would have gotten more starts.

The men that showed up at my house were professional, personable, funny and hard workers. They were in sync with what the goal was and got the job done in no time. They made a follow-up appointment with me before they left. I highly recommend this company for any of your restoration needs.

They made sure everything was under control and that we were comfortable. The paid attention to the large details as well as the little details. They were the calm after our crisis. Mitigation and project management teams did exceptional work and they were all very attentive and thorough.

During Hurricane Mathew my roof sustained a substantial amount of damage. Pauldavis was informed by my insurance company that i needed assistance. Very promptly a very polite gentleman named Carlton was here to secure my roof. He and his crew did an excellent job and the reassurance of no further water damage was a great relief. I would refer Carlton and PaulDavis to anyone who enjoys a quality trustworthy business relationship. Thank You.

Had water/mold damage. 4 months to repair something that was promised in 5 weeks. They took forever, over charged for everything, it was such a hassle dealing with them. As an insurance agent I used to refer to them 100%, but now I wouldnt. Apparently a lot of the hold up was their project manager didnt know the xactware (software for insurance payment/adjusting) and was entering things completely wrong. The adjuster kept telling me he was just waiting on a revised estimate removing xyz. It was all around a very painful process. I would recommend checking into other companies with higher ratings.

Stay away from this company!!! Not only did they provide inferior quality work, they hired unqualified employees and subcontractors!We had a water leak on the second floor of our home on November 19, 2014. We contracted Paul Davis Restoration (PDR) to do the emergency response as well as the repairs to the walls, ceilings and flooring. WHAT A NIGHTMARE!!! They hired inferior subcontractors who improperly installed wood floors and took months to complete it! The wood flooring is glued to the concrete slab. They did not completely remove the old flooring and did not properly level the flooring before they installed the new flooring. They used too much glue in areas which seeped through the planks. The flooring buckled in areas and is uneven throughout. They had to hire a different flooring contractor to inject glue into hollow spots in the floor. Because they used too much glue, the brand new flooring had a residue/haze on it. They used multiple types of solvents and Magic Erasers to clean the haze (and stripped the finish off our brand new floors). Furthermore, when they were trying to remove the old flooring from the slab, they used grinders inside our home without even prepping the areas and trying to seal off the rest of the house. We still have white dust everywhere!! After over 4 months of dealing with this, their offer was to tear the flooring out and start all over. There is no way we could put our family through that again (there was no guarantee they would do it properly or in a timely manner if given another chance). PDR did end up firing the incompetent subcontractor (after they stole a key to our house); however, the management and owners were ineffective at completing the project correctly. They have been a NIGHTMARE to deal with for 6 months. We were supposed to receive a 1-year warranty for our floors - they have not responded to our numerous requests for the appropriate paper work. We are astounded by the lack of Project Management or care at this business. The project took almost 6 months to complete. We are unhappy with the poor quality of the installation and the unreasonably long time it took to complete the work. I would not let them work on a dog house!!!!!

Love that they offer free continuing education to insurance agents as well as outstanding service to their customers. Its obvious they truly care about the people and the community.

Would not recommend this company - they were sent by my insurance company. Paul Davis sent an apprentice and another individual who does not show up on their team website - so dont know who he his. They were supposed to identify where moisture was coming from bc of a mildew smell in the front wall of the house. They did not - they spent their time telling me how much they liked the dog and that they had been in houses in much worse shape so I had nothing to complain about. In the process they accessed the attic and broke the drain pipe from the AC in the attic and now continually deny any liability. I had a SMALL stain on the ceiling from the hurricane (water leak from wind driven rain near the fire place), the evening after they accessed the attic the drain pan in the attic was overflowing and we were carrying gallons of water down the attic stairs all weekend because the water was pouring out the ceiling. They state that they did not damage it and that pipes spontaneously break all the time (NO, this was obviously kicked or bumped into) - when I called to complain they asked to speak to my husband - because apparently, being a woman I was not able to speak intelligently about a broken AC drain pipe. They refuse to take ownership, never offered to send anyone to assist with the broken pipe - however, ironically, their emergency management director did call about A MONTH later to see if he needed to send a plumber to fix the pipe - a MONTH after the break - NO, we got it fixed. if I had waited a month for them to respond the entire ceiling would have collapsed. I now have a 4x8 ceiling panel that needs to be replaced instead of just a small spot that needs to be painted from the original water spot. Again, they refuse to do anything to rectify the situation. Their owner stated that they cannot afford to fix everyones house - i guess he means they cannot afford to fix everyones house that they mess up So they just walk away. Told me I would have to hire another company to repair my ceiling. (from damage their employees caused) Lousy customer service. I am angry and frustrated every time I talk with these people. Will be writing a letter to the DBPR and the insurance commission. And will copy any and all of the insurance companies I can that might use them. Cannot warn you enough. AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE - I would not use these people or let them into my house ever again. Trust all the one star reviews.

Hired PDNF after Hurricane Matthew- it is now 5.31.17 and the project is still not complete! VERY POOR workmanship and NO ATTENTION to detail to the point where Im pointing out the obvious issues AND TRASH to the owner that shows little care- they left TRASH, NAILS AND VERY POOR CRAFTSMANSHIP (the list is very long of errors)- all over the yard (my dog got a nail in his paw!) WARNING- DO NOT CALL THEM! READ THE OTHER REVIEWS OF THE SAME ISSUES- A NIGHTMARE TO MANAGE THIS COMPANY, as this is what you have to do for them to get anything done, and when they are done, its poor quality.

This company was sent here by my insurance the technician where very friendly but you could tell that they have had very little or any training we are going on day 6 and they are still trying to dry and remove a small section of my kitchen floor due to a small water leak with the size of this company I would thank that they would train the people they hire before letting them go out without a clue I have made my insurance company aware hopefully they change the company they send out

I had a nightmare with this company..my bedroom and bathroom got fire on May 2016 and they took for ever to fix it..when they estimated 3 weeks, they took 3 months and a half, coming when they want it..and the house still missing work and the overall work was not well done..I do not recommend this company to anybody at all.

They left Nails in my yard Nails in my driveway after repairing my roof I had some water damage in the inside they sent a crew over to my home to paint the ceiling it took them 2 days to paint a small area inside my home they did a terrible job they some paint on my walls they left some paint on my wooden door that goes to my back patio they left a ladder a bag of trash and a bucket of paint on the side of my home without consulting with me first they did not come back to get it until Saturday morning I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy please do your research
