Steve and Ric from Custom Tree Surgeons did a wonderful job they exceeded my expectations. Between my property and my parents property, they must have cut down roughly over 30 trees, so much that it was tough to keep count. The crew was amazing to watch, cutting trees that I couldnt think they could cut with out damaging something, they had two crews working at the same time cutting on both property. Trees that they manually cut and trees that they had to use a crane and lift. Cutting around power and cable lines without causing any outage. Lets go back three weeks before they cut all the trees. I live in the Mandarin area, I called and got quotes from 8 different tree cutting service, and let me tell you the quotes where all over the place, and thousands of dollars in difference. Ive even had them tell me that they are the best and no one can beat their prices. I can tell you it took a week to gather all my quotes and Custom Tree Surgeon won the bid. Steve quickly asset the job and gave me the quote on the spot, no games, and most important he never tried to sell himself like a car salesman and he never made me feel pressured. I can also tell you the Steve had the best price and beat all the quotes by the thousands. Custom Tree Surgeon was able to do this big job in two days when I had other tree services claim it would take 3-4 days. Steve also worked with our busy schedule and promptly got back to me every time I called. We worked around the up and coming Hurricane Dorian and scheduled the job directly after the storm. On the first day Custom Tree Surgeon came in a large fleet with multiple trucks, crane, Bobcat, climbers, stump grinder and later a large truck that cleaned up the debris. Their crew worked very efficient and not one person was just standing around doing nothing, everyone had their role. I remember Steve saying that once you hire us to do a job you will never call another tree service again but them.... and he is right, we will actually be calling them soon to cut more trees.C. Cruz

First of all, I love that I got an exact date and time of service. Jeremy called me the afternoon before to confirm again the day/time of service. They arrived on time and were very friendly and professional. They took a little time to game plan and ensure that their approach was compatible for my yard. We have a fence, garage, pool, and existing landscaping that had to be considered. They did a great job! They cleaned up afterwards and had the limbs and debris off my property very quickly. I will 100% hired them again and recommend them to others. I was very impressed with their courteous behavior and manners. Well worth the money!

Custom Tree Surgeons removed a 50 foot sweetgum tree in front of my home as well as all of our foundation plantings in preparation for new landscaping. I am thrilled with the work they did. I dont usually write reviews but these guys were great. Ive used other companies where they stump grind under the tree only and leave a big pile of wood chips. These guys stump ground all the roots in the yard including a very large mound under the tree so it is flat with the rest of the yard - and they hauled everything away. Even my neighbors were impressed with the work they did and how well they cleaned up the area. I would highly recommend.

These guys just finished taking down two trees in my yard and cleaned out another and did a great job. On time, worked hard the whole time they were there, and did a great job taking care to get the tree down safely. Also did a really good job removing the stump and cleaning up some pretty large roots to make re-sodding where the tree was much easier. Very reasonably priced and would definitely go back to them again for future projects.

I asked for 3 to 4 feet off to top of my lagustrums, leaving some of the canopy. The trees were about 17 ft tall. They removed all the canopy and left me stumps. None of the remaining stumps of the 3 different trees are even the same height. I guess I shouldve thought more about using them after I watched them hit a mailbox and then drop a limb on someones fence. They asked me what they could do to make me happy, but there isnt any way to put the canopy back on.The site supervisor said he told the guys to cut as high as he could reach, which is not what we had agreed upon, but really, as hes not that tall. I expected to see 10 to 12 ft high trees, not 6 ft high stumps.

I hated to have my old cedar tree taken down, but it was dropping limbs and becoming a hazard. I saw them remove my neighbors tree and was impressed by their care and attention to detail. No damage, great cleanup. I thought when I saw the pile of brush in my neighbors yard that his grass was a goner. However, within a few hours they showed up with a big truck and cleaned and raked till there was not sign of the job left.I called them up and showed them by back yard garden and asked if they could remove the Bradford pair without damaging my plants an structures. Also, I was tired of cleaning up after the Queen palms. He gave me a reasonable price and said 1 to 2 weeks before they would be able to do the job. They called a couple of days later andasked if they could do the job within a few hours. I was at work and had not moved any of my stuff out of the way. He assured me they would do it. I would never have let them in the yard without my supervision if I had not already seen the next door job. I called my neighbors to let them in the back yard. My neighbors said theyclimbed up there and hand dropped the branches as they cut them so they would not break my plants below. I was very happy with the job. Nothing was crushed or broken. It was like the tree never was there. They came later and ground out the palm stumps. The cleanup was amazing. I would recommend this team to anyone. Great Job guys.

I recently met Steve Baker of Custom Tree Surgeons and we started talking about his company. I mentioned to him that I recently had a 50 ft high Maple tree that had died for no apparent reason and it was dangerously close to mine and my neighbors homes. I told him that in my opinion that it was going to be very difficult to get to this tree to remove it without possibly damaging either home adjacent to the dead tree. He told me to lets have a look at the situation so we scheduled a time for us to meet and discuss the problem tree. He studied the proximity of the tree and quickly said that company had the equipment, know how, and seasoned employees to quickly rectify the situation safely and completely. He schedule the project for the next day and his men arrived promptly that day and immediately commenced working. All of their equipment was well maintained and looked brand new. Employees were neat and presentable. They were very hard working guys and quickly made short work of the tree even though the temperature was over 100 degrees that day. The site was left spotless including grinding the stump.I have paid a lot more and received much sloppier tree work in the past. You will not be disappointed using this company !!!

I called Custom Tree Surgeons for an estimate as my mom recommended them to me as she was very pleased with the employees, the fair pricing, service and the way her yard was cleaned of debris like the trees were never there. I must say that after using them to cut down 3 trees, I have to agree with her 100%!! It started with my quote. The pricing was very fair compared to a few other quotes I had received. Steve kept me informed of when he would be by to give the estimate and knew right away when he could schedule a crew to come out to do the work.I didnt have to wait a day or two to find out when I could be put on the schedule which is nice and convenient! There were 3 techs with all equipment needed that showed up to my house. They arrived at the exact time that I was told they would be arriving which is always nice not having to sit around waiting for someone to show up! They were very courteous and professional. It was obvious that they were highly experienced as one of my trees was difficult to get to. It was against the property line of 3 other houses, behind a different tree and next to a bunch of bamboo. Not the easiest to get to and it could not be climbed as it was too far gone to be climbed. They were able to remove that tree with no hiccups whatsoever and it was about a 50ft tall tree! Once all the trees were cut down, then the clean up began. All of the debris was piled neatly in my front yard. The areas of work were raked and left in better condition than when they arrived! A 4th person showed up basically right after the original crew left. He came and picked up all of the debris and loaded it up in his massive truck. He also raked and cleaned the front lawn to leave in the condition like nothing ever happened. The entire process was very smooth! They have a slogan on their trucks that says Our Customers are #1. Their slogan is 100% accurate! It was very nice to be treated as #1 with outstanding communication, customer service and courtesy! Do not hesitate for one second to call Custom Tree Surgeons! Steve quoted a fair price to have a tree removed that included the stump grining. They guys were on time, cleaned up after themselves. We had a troublesome double tree in our backyard that we needed to remove. Steve came out to give a great estimate and my wife said he answered all her questions and was very professional. Steve had his team come out in the morning. They were all very polite and punctual on the agree upon time. We loved the way they handled the tree removal service. They were done in a total of three days. The team arrived each morning to work on the tree, moved all the debris to the street, and Steve had a truck come and remove it each day. Professional. Efficient. Courteous. Clean.... The crew did a wonderful job trimming my two BIG trees last December! The way they selected the branches showed knowledge, understanding and care. After the tree work, the crew swept the grounds well and put the cut branches in neat piles before their collecting truck came.... We have used a few other tree services in the past but this company is by far the best ever. They showed up on time ready to go to work. All of the guys were professional and knew exactly what they needed to do to get the job done. We had 2 very large trees taken down. One of the right up against our house and not only did they get it down without harming our house they ground the stump away, gone! Top notch company! ! They were very professional and reasonably priced. Due to the location of the tree a few fence panels had to come down. I came home. The panels were put back up and the yard was free of any debris. They even locked both gates begins them! Thank you guys for your hard work!

Custom Tree Surgeons is a very well run company. Actually, the best. I used them maybe 12 or 13 years ago to take down 2 trees. They did a great job at a reasonable price. Since then Ive recommended them to a couple of friends who used them. They both reported back to me with the same results. Reasonable price with excellent results. Recently (8/16/18) I used them again to remove an old dead tree. Again, the price was reasonable and excellent results. They removed the tree and stacked the logs on the street. A little while later one of their trucks came by and picked up the logs. But they did more than pick up the logs. They racked up the small debris, then pulled out a lawn blower and cleaned up the street and even my sidewalk. I cant think of anything else they could have possibly have done. I will continue to recommend them to everyone I see.

I can not recommend these guys highly enough. 5 stars really is not high enough! We had a very large magnolia tree removed from our back yard today. Steve and his guys showed up on time and worked hard all day. Everything was left spotless. They took great care to make sure nothing at all was damaged. I even saw them walking around after the debris was removed, making sure the grass was ok and picking up stragglers. Steve was so quick with the estimate (which, by the way, was the lowest), was here the next business day and was an absolute total professional through the entire process. Don’t waste your time with others - these guys really are the best.

Couple of things:1. Steve came out first to assess the trees that need to be trimmed and removed. Didnt add anything that wasnt needed with a really low estimate. How do I know it was low? A new company literally knocked on the door after Custom Tree Services left to attempt to give a similar quote. Far more expensive and not as well known.2. Extremely professional and went out of their way to finish even though it began raining buckets about halfway through. Picked up all debris and raked up all remaining sticks and leaves upon completion. Not to mention cleaned off the roof as well. Even the older stuff they didnt cause.I highly recommend Steve and his entire team at Custom Tree Surgeons.

Custom Trees did an excellent job of removing a large water oak overhanging my roof. They were very professional and careful not to damage my yard with equipment and removing the limbs over the roof. Clean up was outstanding. Highly recommend !!!
