I was initially satisfied with our experience with Above & Beyond. They displayed expertise and professionalism as they removed a couple very large trees next to our home, and trimmed up a number of others in the yard. I did discover post-removal that their stump grinding tore into my irrigation system pipes and I now have a large bill to repair the system. There were multiple sprinkler heads within a few feet of the stump so the presence of underground pipes should have been recognized.

Great Company, they live up to their name and more. Came out this morning to look at a tree that had fallen on my house by the afternoon not only was the tree and stump gone but so was the mess on the roof and in the yard. Price couldnt be beat. The owner and his workers were fantastic, will have them back to do more. Thank you again guys and gals.

I would like to commend Above and Beyond Tree Service for the great job they did trimming our tree and removing a huge dead oak tree that was along a busy road. When trimming the front tree Kevin made sure to verify that I was ok with it before moving on to the removal of the next tree. They knew exactly what to do and had the tree down and stump ground in a matter of hours. They were very careful to not let one limb fall on our very expensive fencing. They cleaned the yard of all the debris and were going to rake the pile left by the stump grinding, however we needed to remove the pile anyway so let them leave it as it was. After doing such a fantastic job I have already referred them to 2 of my coworkers who need tree work. We have estimates from 5-6 different tree companies and some were lower and some were higher but the fact that they were able to come remove the tree within a week was very helpful in making our decision. Glad we chose Above and Beyond Tree Service because I feel they did go above and beyond to ensure I was happy before accepting payment - which I gladly paid with a smile.

Not only were they on time courteous and polite but they came in under budget, which by the way was the lowest estimate I got of 4 companies. I cannot express how impressed I was with the crews and the cleanup job that they did. Very professional. I would highly recommend.

A great experience, timely estimate and service! Their professional crew trimmed a huge oak tree that was damaging our roof. They removed limbs that were the size of large trees! They had all of the right equipment to do the job, a bucket boom lift, chipper, chain saws, and blowers- with all the right safety equipment for their crew. The job was finished and cleaned up within 2 hours. Im very impressed with their services and will invite them to return to remove dead trees & grind stumps in our paddock. Thank you!

Above and Beyond is a company that does what their name implies. We had a huge sweet gum tree removed from our backyard that had started to rot. Not only did we get prompt return on phone calls, and clear detailed emails, we got one of the best quotes and amazing service. Their communication was great and that is huge in this day and age of doing business Kevin and his crew (including his lovely and kind wife) showed up on time and made quick professional work of taking the tree down in our back yard. We would easily hire them again.

Trimmed an overgrown tree in front of the house. Gave me a fair price and the team worked efficiently and quickly. From set up to complete with clean up was about 90 mins. The tree looks great and my yard is getting lots more light which helps the grass fill in. Would use them again.

I have been a customer for over a decade. They have craned off big trees off my roof, it was my neighbors tree. After surviving hurricane Hugo, I allow no tree to be over or near any of my Apartments. They are local folks and work hard to make you happy. Big job or small call for a bid. Trees can kill so let the professionals show you their skills.

I recently used Above and Beyond tree service to trim some limbs. They came out and gave an estimate and that gentleman seemed very nice and professional. He told us there would be some challenges with the narrow area of our yard and they are the neighbors trees over our roof. He said worse case scenario is they would get on the roof and trim what they could reach with a pole saw but that it would be ideal to have access to the neighbors yard. We told them our neighbor would probably be funny about that but that we could try. We agreed to the pricing. They came out and did the trees. I wasnt here but my husband was and called me half way through to express concerns. He told me he thought I would be upset because not many of the trees were being trimmed because they couldnt get to the neighbors yard as we suspected. No surprise, but what was a surprise was they wouldnt get on on the roof to trim any of those limbs. The limbs overhanging our house were are biggest concern and none of those have been trimmed. They discounted us almost a hundred dollars but my biggest issues were not handled. Now I am stuck trying to decide about getting another company out here but then I will not be able to make the minimum and will be charged more. Had they said from the beginning they would find my two story roof too dangerous to get on ( as they told my husband) then I would have chosen another company. I do not feel like the money we spent was worth it. I cannot see any difference in the trees with the exception of the palm trees and those we only got done because they were coming and we knew they would need it soon. Our real concern were the limbs overhanging our house with hurricane season here. The trees look no different than before . My roof is still not safe. I would not recommend using this company. I asked for a call from management and someone called and left a message. I returned the call and have yet to hear back and it has been about a month

After calling them, I got a call back same day, someone came over to give me an estimate, and gave me a paper for estimate. I got a call for the appointment day, and was alerted the day before for my appointment. It was simply to trim a couple palm trees good rates/better than others. Paid in person is no convenience fee but its nothing crazy. Pay them when they come or have the money ready to pay them after the job when theyre there to avoid the convenience fee.Outstanding service. Paid an invoice from my phone.

They were recommended to us from a neighbor. We had a huge pine taken down today. They also grinded 2 stumps for us. The owner Kevin and his crew worked extremely hard. Everyone including the office staff was professional every step from the estimate to the removal and always kept us informed. We live on a very narrow street and they made the process seamless. Everything was cleaned up nicely and nothing damaged. Even all our neighbors on the street were impressed. Thanks a bunch! We would definitely recommend.

The company showed up in full force. I was told it would take 3 hours to do everything but it was done in 2. Mind you the Oak tree in my yard was huge and it was knocked to its knee in no time flat. The clean up was immaculate and the staff was awesome from top to bottom!! This group is like a well oiled machine— work well together, very speedy and safe and when they leave there is absolutely no mess. They have done two jobs for us and I highly recommend them. You will not be disappointed!!!!!!

Overall they got the job done. However, there were a few things I noticed which all involved a lack of carefulness when cutting down the limbs that were over the house. First, when cutting limbs in the back yard they fell on our stringed lights causing them to fall. Second, there were several limbs that fell from the house onto our ac unit which after they left I noticed it getting warmer. I went outside and noticed the fan blade in the unit wasnt spinning and only after fidgeting with it the blade started to spin only to start hitting the side of the frame. I noticed that the frame was bent causing the blade to not spin. Heres another work order to submit.

This is the 2nd year in a row that our HOA have used then for major trimming of oaks and smaller trees on our entrance islands. They do an out standing job. They are on time and communicate with you as to arrival time. Great cleanup after the job, also. The most professional and reasonable company we have used. We highly recommend

Above and Beyond cut down a tree in our backyard late last year. It was completely dead and situated right in between our tangerine tree and our aging work shed. They did an excellent job of removing the tree and the stump without damaging either. They were on time, responsive, cleaned up beyond what I expected and they offered the most reasonable price of all the estimates we received. I cannot say thank you enough! My cat had been stuck in a tree for 2 days and we had tried everything! I called so many people and googled everything I could think of to get help. No one would help until we called Above and Beyond. They were at my house within 30 minutes to rescue my cat from 30 feet up in the air. They saved my cats life because she obviously couldn’t come down on her own and without food, water or sleep she wouldn’t have made it much longer. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart!

We are extremely pleased with the job they completed. Kevin (the owner) and his crew are extremely hard working, and honest. We had a HUGE Oak tree cut down, plus a large Magnolia, and some other tree trim work. Whenever branches were lowered, crew members put them through the shredder, and other crew members would immediately rake the lawn. They were efficient, and the work was done exactly as contracted. David the Sales Manager explained in detail, how the work would be completed. This was a Very large all day job, and it was done very professional and efficient. The work was done as contracted. We highly recommend Above & Beyond Tree Services. They are true to their word, and they do EXCELLENT work. When they finished the job, our lawn was beautiful even with a 60,000# crane, another bucket truck., and other equipment. They did everything possible to protect our newly sodded lawn. I have used the services of Above and Beyond Tree Services for the last 6 years, at my own house and at my rental properties. They have removed trees, ground stumps/roots, and thinned out and trimmed my oak trees, which I just had them do again last week. They always do a great job and they are very reasonably priced. I have recommended them to friends and family and plan to continue to call on them whenever the needs arise.

While employees from Above and Beyond were cutting down a neighbors very tall pine tree, a large section fell onto my fence, taking out an entire section and destroying a 7ft fig tree as well. I contacted the owner, Kevin, from Above and Beyond and in less than two days he had worked with the fence company that originally put up the fence (Superior, which is also a fantastic company!) to have them replace the destroyed section, which Above and Beyond paid for in total, including repainting. In two weeks he had replaced my fig tree. There were no excuses, no hesitation and complete cooperation.I can not begin to tell you how impressed I am with the way they handled this entire situation. Not only does it speak favorably of their professionalism and attention to “customer” service, but it speaks well of Kevin as a man of integrity. I will certainly keep them in mind for any tree removal needs that I may have in the future.

Received email stating that they were going to send out an estimator, David, and no one ever showed up. No one called to reschedule or to notify me of delay in getting the estimate requested. Very disappointed considering all the great reviews I have read about this company.

A tree fell on our home destroying half of it.The estimator, David, that came out to look at the tree was very nice and seemed to quote a very reasonable price. He also attempted to tarp over and around the tree to prevent water damage, since they weren’t able to remove it for several days. The girls in the office have also been very nice throughout this experience. But those are the only positives I have to say about this company.When they finally removed the tree, they didn’t re-tarp the roof. Even though we were told they would. As we can not live in the home, we were unaware that the roof was uncovered. Our house is now completely flooded. Once we found out, we called and asked why they hadn’t tarped it. The men that were currently at the house moving more debris then tarped some of it... but left gaping holes. We had to tarp it ourselves.While the men were working at the house. We asked one if he could remove the tree parts that were in the house. They needed cut down to be removed, they were huge pieces of tree. The man said, that he could, but it would be after his lunch. We waited an hour for their lunch to end. When it did, he went to work, but not in the house. We asked if he could do the parts in the house first so that we could lock up and get out of there. And he told us that it wasn’t his job to remove tree parts from in the house. I called and spoke to the office, then they had them remove the tree pieces.The men broke our fence in order to make it easier to remove the tree from the back. They also put a hole in another part of the fence (I assume by accident). I called and asked if they were going to repair the fence. No one ever returned my call. But I did notice the right side of the fence had been nailed back together... but the left side was still loose. Nothing was done about the hole.I went into the office, and was put onto the phone with the boss, Kevin. Kevin spoke to me like I was an idiot. He told me that he couldn’t please everybody. He also told me that some people are just harder to please.The funny thing is, I’m very easy to please. Even through all of the devastation my family is going through right now with losing our home, we have stayed positive. But I have never ever experienced such terrible customer service! I’ve never been spoken to in the way that Kevin spoke to me.On top of all of this, I had to walk around my yard picking up multiple empty cans of Mountain Dew and Gatorade bottles. Don’t they realize that this is someone’s home? They just threw their trash on the ground.I can not stress enough how terrible our experience was, or how much I wish it hadn’t been. I understand mistakes happen, but if it had only been handled differently.Today, I payed a total of $7,300 to Above and Beyond Tree service. (I will also need to replace my fence.) I just want this chapter to be over. They have made a terrible situation so much worse!! I’m ready to move on. But I urge you not to use their service.

Poor service after breaking my concrete sidewalk and carport in several parts. The sidewalk alone will cost $250 to fix/repair. The carport needs to be repaired I told them but they said I was a bad customer and denied that they broke the carport. They also left the entire cut down parts of the tree in my front yard which is a DANGER to my two tenants that have to enter their doors to get into their homes. They said; well pick it up in the morning. I said this is a severe Danger; they didnt remove it so I warned my tenants of the impending huge tree parts in the front yard of their homes before they came home from work. They still deny that they broke the concrete in my carport but do admit to the sidewalk that they broke. I would not use them again. Beware they do not know the business. I spoke to another tree expert and they agree with the damage that was done & will vouch for me. They also ground the stump which I asked them not to and left a mess of tree parts in my whole yard which I spent hours cleaning up myself.

We have four huge oak trees over hanging our house and wanted them cut way back. The staff did a wonderfully safe and professional job protecting our house as if it was their own.it was amazing how they cut down so many very large limbs and didnt touch the house at all. My name is Kevin Brislin and I am the president and owner of Above and Beyond Tree Services, Inc. I am writing this review to serve as a rebuttal to the review created by Nancy Miller.I did do tree work at Ms. Millers property. And, I did make a mistake that resulted in my crew grinding a stump that was not included in the job description for the tree that was removed. In most cases Ive experienced, the customer would be happy to have the stump grinded without having to pay for it.Ms. Miller was not charged for that stump removal as it was a mistake. Ms. Miller was upset that the stump was removed, however, and asked that the crew come back to remove the stump mulch that is ordinarily left behind to fill the hole left by the stump.When Ms. Miller called about the stump, she did note that the sidewalk had been cracked but told me that she was not concerned about that. She just wanted the stump mulch removed. She never said anything to me during that conversation about any other wood or debris that was left behind or that the crew had done a bad job.My crew went back out to the home and removed the stump mulch, as she requested us to do.I personally went out to the site to make sure the job was done and saw no other issues.Months after the job was completed she brought back up the crack in the sidewalk and also complained about cracks in the carport, which she never said anything about when she initially complained about the stump mulch. I went back out to the property and there were obvious old cracks throughout the entire carport.I take pride in doing a good job every time and making the customer happy. That is why I never require payment until a job is completed.In this case, however, it seemed like whatever I did I could not make Ms. Miller happy.

We manage over 1000 houses and Above and Beyond has been taking care of our tree problems for years. The hurricane in September was a disaster, but luckily Above and Beyond was there to take the problems off our desk. We highly recommend them!
