Daniel and his crew did a great job cleaning up my overgrown Live Oak trees and left the property clean. Daniel’s equipment was good, prices were reasonable, and he and his men were exceptionally pleasant to work with. The company prefers to concentrate its accounts in Jacksonville’s Southside, which makes good logistics sense.

Mark and his team did an amazing job at my property. I had a tree fall in the middle of the night and Chips came out the next day to give me a quote. The following day he was able to get a crane and crew out to get it off of my property. He showed up right when he said he would and had it done in half a day. On top of all this his team cleaned up everything!

Mark was great to work with.. he is a busy guy so if you need wood, try and get them while they are at the yard.. They are too busy to answer fire wood pricing calls.. Great Fire wood at a reasonable price..

Awesome service. We were looking for the right people to help with a large tree overhanging the house and we found them! They were there on time at the time they scheduled for us. Very precise in how they handled the tree above the house none of the branches touched the house while coming down. Very competitive prices for such a large job. We did the main large tree plus a few small ones to open up the yard with stump grinding. After they were done they cleaned up the yard of debris. Best my yard has ever looked would never know trees were removed there. All in all I highly recomend these guys if your looking for any tree removed or trimmed for a great price and great service.

Chips did a big job at one of my properties. When they came to do the estimate, the guy was very knowledgeable and told me exactly what needed to be done, at a better price than a couple of other tree companies had quoted me. Chips came out a few years ago and did some work on our property (with a crane)- they did a wonderful job so we called them back this year to assess a large oak tree in our front yard. They came out a little over a week ago and gave us a quote on removing some moss and a dead limb off the tree. WROTE us an estimate. Came out to do the work and called to say the price has now doubled as they have to bring in a crane and may have to cut down the whole tree... This is not ethical in my opinion as that is why I asked for an estimate to begin with. Nothing about the tree or the property has changed in a week and a half that you now have to complete the job differently (double the original quote differently) in a week and a half. Wont use again.RESPONSE:So thats not what happened- when you yourself stated you werent there at the original meeting... you didnt say that it would be TWICE as much as the original quote? If your son cannot give correct information regarding what is needed when he comes out to give the quote (like how there is only ONE dead tree limb and that the moss that is weighing down the tree can be cleaned off) than whats the point? Its a massive waste of time and energy to have YOUR SON (THE EXPERT) give a written estimate and then turn around and CHANGE THE PRICE. BAD BAD BUSINESS and lose of what would have been a repeat customer. Fortunately there are many other companies that want to earn business through honest practices.

Chips came out and gave me a reasonable estimate, and then scheduled the service almost immediately. They arrived on time with nice equipment and full crew even though my job was relatively small. They acted thoughtfully and carefully and took as much time as was needed to do the full job safely. They cleaned and removed all debris. Chips did absolutely amazing work on our property!!! We had them take down 8 large oaks and trim several others. They were extremely knowledgeable, polite and professional--trimming trees perfectly like an artist painting a masterpiece! The very large trees we removed came down with precision and their clean-up was perfect. We have used other services in the past that were not half as good. Chips now has all our future business and our highest recommendation to anyone looking for this service. Great people!!!

We used Chip’s Tree Service to take down 4 large oaks . They did an awesome job . They arrived on time, actually they arrive 30 min before time, which was a plus to me. They were professional and respectful to my property. I give Chip’s Tree Service 5 stars and would highly recommend them .

The owner called and cancelled the time that they were to be here. I called and made appointment way before storm developed. The owner called and said he had 2 big jobs! So, he doesnt care about my future business and how everyone that I can tell not to use Chips Tree Service. I am very disappointed.THE TRUE STATEMENT is the company made an appointnent and cancelled the time of appointment and they have lost my future business. Doesnt matter if it was made Aug 24th.

I am singing the praises of Chips Tree Service for they did a awesome job in the removal of several l trees around my place. They were timely and the clean up was just great. I recommend these folks as they are considerate, and most professional.

They cleaned up so well and did so little damage that you could not tell 4 trees had been removed. It was a wonderful experience.

We hired Chips Tree Service to cut down a very large diseased oak tree in our back yard. Their team came at the appointed date & time with the right equipment to do the job & made quick work of cutting down the tree, grinding up the limbs & hauled off all. Then cleaned up the area after. Chips tree service was an AMAZING experience! They came out and did an estimate and beat the prices of all of the other estimates I had gotten. I had a big job so I wanted the best deal possible and they made it happen! My trees where huge and had tricky placement so it was definetly not a job for the weak or inexperienced . They are a family owned and operated business and have generations of experience so their skill was fit for the job I needed done. They where always honest and polite to me and my yard throughout the entire process! They left no mess and got that huge job done long before I came home from work ! When I got home even my noisiest most opinionated neighbor complimented me on the company I chose ! He watched them all day and said that their operation was skillful and a fine show of experience . If you need tree service of any kind make sure to call chips! I GIVE YOU MY WORD You will NOT be disappointed !

I’ve never used this company so I gave them 5 stars. I just wish the two bald dudes that work for them who work out at Bailey’s every morning wearing their tank tops would actually use the equipment and workout instead of standing around it and looking at women. I’ve been coming here for months and neither of them has lost any weight or gained any muscle that I can see. You have to actually lift in order for that to happen.

The owner and crew were most professional, conscientious and courteous. They did an awesome job.

Have not used them because they dont travel to Ponte Vedra. Highly recommended though.

They told me they only do estimates on Saturdays and he pretty much made me feel like he was dictating the terms. I went were I was appreciated!
