I needed to have all the trees on my property trimmed and fertilized. Ben and his team were very helpful in explaining the process, arriving on time and putting in a long day until the job was done. They did a wonderful job with the trimming and cleaned up so well the yard looked better than when they started. Couldnt be happier. They were careful to ask about and work carefully around the septic tank and drainfield. Im the third generation of my family to count on Ben for excellent work and I am thankful I did.

Ben did a fantastic job with the removal of a very large oak using the big crane to lift individual sections of it over the fence and home, and then thinned out the remaining oaks on my property. This was a huge tree and everything went as planned, Thanks Ben!!

The estimate that was given was not equal to the cost we owed once the service was finished. Some trees were removed that shouldnt of been and in addition, the young employee drove the lift through our neighbors yard on accident and broke their sprinkler system. The company was aware of the issue and immediately reprimanded the employee when it happened, but no one has called a service to repair the damage this company caused. The clients son advised the office that he could/would fix it and send Big Bens a bill for the service. We have been in contact with the office over 5 times and each time we are told the issue would be resolved (or that it should of been taken care of already) but it has not. The neighbor is now expecting us to fix his sprinkler system even though it was your company that caused the damage due to an employee error. The tree service itself is very clean and it was done appropriately but we are disappointed in the price increase and the damage your company caused to our elderly neighbor who does not have the funds and ability to fix this problem. There are ruts all throughout his yard as well. Im writing this review because its been 4 weeks and you continue to be resistant in providing a remedy for a really simple error you have acknowledged multiple times.1 star for terrible customer service and overcharging on purpose because you knew you could. 5 stars for the work actually provided despite the issues elsewhere.

The whole process was easy and professional from start to finish. Had 3 large oak trees trimmed up; the trees look wonderful, and they cleaned up the yard very well afterwards. I would highly recommend them, and will definitely use their services again in the future.

Ben and his team did an amazing job on my property. They removed years of overgrowth on my perimeter fences. This is included trees, bushes, and wisteria vines. I would especially like to recognize his crew chief Mike Patterson. When Ben was not present, Mike ensured things were done correctly, promptly, and efficiently. Mike was approachable and a consummate professional.

The Best Tree Service Ever!!! We had around 13 trees on our property that needed to be removed and 4 needing major trimming a few years ago. We were just amazed at the entire experience from Ben coming out himself to give an estimate, sharing his personal story and the story of his company, the friendliness and professionalism of his crew and impressive equipment used to get the job done! Could not believe how clean our property looked when they left even our roof and gutters that they blew off! Very reliable, friendly, professional and knowledgeable company!! Ben is a one of kind man who truly cares for your safety and your trees! Never called back

Big Ben has been taking care of our trees for at least 20 years. we have never been disappointed and todays experience met the usual excellent standards. The crew knew what they were doing and worked diligently and safely to complete the trim. I love working with a real professional.

Big Bens Tree Service is outstanding. They cut down over 15 trees and left my property clean, Very professional crew. I highly recommend them to anyone. Please check them out first, dont waste your time with other tree services.

Big Benss removed 2 large pine trees from our front yard. They said they would start at 8AM. They showed up around 7:30 and were already cutting at 8. By 10am they had both trees removed down to the stump. They cleaned everything up as if they werent even there. Once the big trucks left, the stump grinder arrived to finish the job. They did a great job. I would recommend them to anyone looking to have a tree removed.

Thank you Big Bens Tree Service! We had a huge oak land on and go through our roof during Hurricane Irma. Big Bens used a crane to lift the tree off the roof to make sure no more damage was done to the roof or shrubs below. I want to add that the quote and work was done in one day at a reasonable price!

From the first phone call to when they were done, Big Bens Tree service was AMAZING! Called one day, They came to an estimate the next day (Ben Himself!), Got the tree in my front and back yard services the next day. Mike, Todd and even Bens grandson treated my property with quick and professional service!! Mike looked like he has been up in trees his entire life! His swinging and climbing looked effortless and Im positive it was far from that! Just an all around amazing company! I give them 5 STARS....... I called around and had 3 different estimates and was going to take 3 big trees down from my back yard, but what sold me on Big Ben was customer service. I have an elderly neighbor a crossed the street and her son was trying to cut the palms from her tree using an extension ladder about 35 feet in the air. I called the office after an agreed price told them of my concern and wished to add trimming the neighbors palms and how much extra? Big Bens tree service trimmed her palm at no extra charge!!! My experience was seamless the crews arrived on time and cleaned up when they were thru, you couldnt even tell from the front we had any work done. Thank you for proving good work AND Customer service still exists.

AS A SUPERVISOR FOR A 400 PLUS ACERE PROPERTYI HAVE USED BIG BENS FOR OVER 20 YEARS. THEY DO GREAT WORK. WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO EVERY ONE . NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEM WITH THE OFFICE OR CREW..

For the 15 years that Ben has been working for me there has never been anybody in that office that was rude in any kind of way very professional very safe and very thorough they have always done a great job cleaning up and getting in and out as quick as safe as possible

Big Ben came out to look at the work being done, described to me what will be done, gave me a fair price, arrived on time, brought in his own equipment, reviewed with his crew what needed to be done, his great crew finished everything that was to be done, did the work exactly as Ben described and cleaned up before leaving. Bens crew was pleasant and very respectful while working like a well-oiled machine - they even delayed their normal lunch to finish the job before leaving. I had 2 very large trees removed and 2 more trimmed – I thought it would take a couple of days, but they finished in half a day. If anyone wants a large tree or a few, call Ben and give him a chance to show you what a real professional tree service is really like.

The rudest office answering staff. I will not be giving them any business. They need to fire whoever answers after hours. Obviously that person doesnt want the job anyway. Lose the loser or lose business. Not the first time Ive heard that complaint but gave them a chance. The reviews were correct.

Worst tree company around Jacksonville! Ben is only popular because of his equipment. Most of his crew members are drugies especially the crane crew! Good workers are under paid and treated unruly. (I know all of this by listening to the complaints while they work). I would Never use His service again neither will I refer any one to this company! BEWARE OF THE RICH TALKS!!! SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE!!!

I usually dont write reviews but this one, I think deserves it. A bit disappointed, I called them on a recommendation and the Lady on the phone took all my information and said someone would call me shortly to setup a time. Waited 24 hours and called back and then the story changed that they are now not doing estimates until sometime next week and when they are in my neighborhood, they will give me a call, no specific day or time which seemed strange. I live 1.2 miles from the office, cant get much more in the neighborhood than that...Wasted a day waiting for them to call back when she could have told me yesterday that they are not doing estimated until Sometime next week...Would not recommend.

I would not even give this business one star, but I have no choice but to give one as Google would not let me write a review without a rating. This company is not punctual, workers are lazy and always chatting and do a very careless job. Here is my story, my apartments managment(Oasis of Mandarin) got Big Ben to removes and trims brunches for the whole place. They sent us the flyer saying they will be doing it on Wednesday the 6th starting early in the morning and that we need to move all our cars away from parking lot 1,2 and 3. My family did follow and moved our cars because of that and they did do the their job on that day. Next day, we thought it was done and over since we do not get further notice for continuation of the work on these parking lots again. I saw someone cutting some brunches down on Thursday in the morning and I was like oh maybe they just needed to finish up and I forgot about that later the day. Also, my car was far from where they were working and no car was there, so, I just kept quiet about it. And then, today i heard them outside and saw them working on our parking lot again, and it was right next to my car, I went outside to check my car and then voila, there is scuff on my car and my car is brand new and spotless, now it has all the dirt from their work and scratch on it. The workers were quick enough to pick up things and disappear when they saw me calling the management and also taking pictures.As I called up my apartment management and told them about it, they gave my number to Ben to call me. Ben called me right after 30 minutes or so and he asked me if I was sure that was his guys scratching my car and also that they sent out the flyer to move out all the cars with a very nasty tone. I replied to him that was only for wednesday and he did not send out anymore notice on how they could not finish their job on the day they told everyone and had to continue and also I have witnesses. He said he will come out tomorrow which basically is today in the morning and see miy scratch and talk to me. So, we will see how this is gonna go. Also, I have already reported police right after, so if this is not solved properly, then I am gonna have to go to small-claim court and also notify my insurance company. I will update in the morning how things go with THE BEN.Update: He said he would call when he gets to my place, so, I waited the whole day. But, sadly, he did not inform me that he came and left a filmsy business card on my car windsheild. He did not have the courtesy to come and apologize to me for his workers behavior. All he had to do was apologize on behalf of his workers and we could have gone our own ways merrily as I washed my car and it is just a tiny little mark though it is deep. I was just gonna let it go. But as I see how this Ben guy is very rude and have poor customer service, I would not recommend my family or any other human in this world i know to get their service!

I contacted Big Ben for an estimate on the 12th of October. I recieved a call Friday October 16th claiming Ben could not come out because it was raining but he would call me on Saturday the 17th. I received no calls, so I called on Monday the 19th to see why I never received a call. I was given no reasons as to why but they put me on the schedule again. It is now October 27th and I have still yet to receive a call from anyone to come out to provide an estimate. If this is any indication as to the type of service they provide, it is probably a best that they didnt follow through with my appointment request.

Front desk couldnt be bother and was very rude. Never called me back when they were supposed to. Very disappointing
