Our backyard has continued to die. We call they come out and treat it continues to die. I believe we would be better off without a lawn service. When I had a few friends with small dogs over it quickly became a mud bath.

Dont waste your moneyWe have been faithful customers for over 6 years. We have had problems with them in the past not spraying the entire yard and when we brought it to their attention, they would always rectify the problem. More recently, they were not treating our back yard at all. We noticed it was covered in weeds which is not normal for a treated yard. There was also a fungus that did not get treated so that killed large spots of our grass which allowed the weeds to take over. We notified them and they sent out the service manager to walk through the yard. He agreed that it should NOT look like it does and told us there is also chinch bug damage which can kill an entire lawn. He said he would send someone out this week. Well, that was last week and no one showed up. No one showed up this week either. We gave them plenty of time to resolve the issue. Hence, the reason for this review. We will definitely be canceling their service as we are paying them to do nothing.Stay away from this company!!

This company is supposed to be servicing my lawn bi-monthly. It is now August 2nd and nobody has been out to service my lawn since April. I received an invoice for services rendered on June 29th but according to my ring camera and the fact that I was grilling in my front yard at the time they say someone came, I found that to not be true. I have called and spoke to someone on 3 different occasions and was assured that someone would be out to service my lawn. And to this day no one has shown up. Im highly frustrated about this because my lawn was starting to look good and I was very impressed. But the service is unacceptable and I do not recommend this company. Im currently shopping for someone else to service my lawn.I have to add that after speaking to Rick, he apologized and the company made it right. They finally came out and serviced my lawn.

Last Thursday one of the Jacksonville, fla Massey reps came out to my home off of Gate parkway to spray. How he conducted himself was very disrespectful, he came into my home and immediately went to the kitchen to spray by the stove spraying carelessly by cups, seasonings, my wife’s gourmet coffee syrups and etc of which I had to throw it all away. Common curtesy would have been for him to first warn me that he was about to spray in that area so that I can move those things out of the way. I threw away money!!!! I called the Massey office and I felt like the issue was handled lightly. As you see I tried to be professional but, they left me no other choice, but to go to the Internet.

Bad service, I had a big problem in my lawn and didnt try to fix it until the damage was uncontrolled . I cancelled Massey and another company started to fix what they did. I tried to upload a photo showing the damage in my lawn.

Not too happy with the service Ive received. Never sure exactly when they are coming to treat my lawn. So far I have more weeds than grass growing and one of my palms has a fungus. Really not sure if they ever fertilized my lawn or not. When I ask them to spray certain areas I was told there not sure if it will work. So I sprayed the area with weed killer and its been working fine. Might consider asking for a refund

When I bought my house I had to re-sod the whole thing. I shopped for the best service I could find to keep my lawn green and healthy. Massey wasnt cheap, but they offered a guarantee and Ive been happy with them for years now. My lawn is one of the best looking in the neighborhood.

Had Massey at two homes, canceled contract this year. Too many weeds to count, shrub service killed out half our new plantings, watched last service only spray half yard, called and was told a manager would come out and walk yard with ya, never happened, finally contacted sales contact and he walked yard and commented “green up service not effective, but don’t cancel termite bond, that’s really good”, scheduled additional spray and was a no show. Don’t waste as much money as we did.

First part is background, second review.Most reviews seem to be for lawn service and other pest. Mine is for termite treatment. I have a good amount of knowledge of lawn/pest/termite treatments and typically DIY myself better than a company can with better products (not consumer grade fwiw). In this case I went with Massey because I wanted the termite bond/repair guarantee. Despite I am able to self-treat using exactly what they do, they offer one of the best insurance policies that can cover ALL wood destroying things, not just sub termites which is all MOST places will cover... In FL we have beyond just those standard termite and in fact the regular ones are least common in FL... But again I was after repair warranty in the event I had troubles...Anyway I called them, spoke with Debbie who was super nice. She got me setup the next day to have Chuck come out. He did some measurements etc. and chatted with me for a good bit (wasnt some rushed or pushy typical sales guy). He was very professional and nice as well (for those worried about COVID they adhere to best practice with protective gear etc. even). He left me a book and unsigned service agreement as my quote. He did 0 pressure to get me to sign or agree to anything and said just call Debbie if I wanted to proceed or had any questions (you can sign on spot if you want). I called her the next day with a few other questions. Decided I wanted to move forward and she said Chuck could come the next day to sign the agreements and make it all official.So the short of it all is you deal with the same few people. Youre not dealing with getting passed around constantly to whomever is avil. They had 0 pressure also and didnt try to sell me on other services at all like pest/lawn which I wasnt interested in. They seemed to know that I was knowledgeable and respected keeping to what I wanted as a consumer.All companies can have bad experiences. Mine in this case was 100% great. Because this is termite and insurance basically its not something that will be oh my grass is bad or I have lots of bugs. From exp I can also say they did the treatment as required per mfg of products they use which was nice to see no short cuts. They also explained going forward renewal cost and expectations.If youre concerned about termites at least, I say Massey has the best offering of insurance coverage and everyone I personally dealt with was amazing! Even got to meet the awesome GM (not cause issues but he actually does hands on work too and makes sure things are right!).*I was not asked to write a review nor offered anything for one, this was my 100% honest opinion.

I have three proprerites that I manage and Massey has done a wonderful job for me.

Currently watching over my neighbors house while she is gone for business. The guy has been sitting in his truck for the past 15 minutes looking at his phone. He folded up a piece of paper and has not once left his truck. We will be alerting our neighbor and Massey accordingly about the LACK of actual service if nothing is done.Update: He brought the paper to the door and drove off. Be wary if you are requesting service when you are not home because it appears they do not actually inspect/spray.

Sales rep treated me as an ignorant child who did no prior research Told me the business I chose was ripping me off and invalidated all my decisions without any details. Tried to upsell his services and then quoted me a price without actually looking at my property. If this is how they do business I dont want them

I was a customer of Massey for many years and recently I noticed their service wasnt up to where it usually was. Huge portions of my lawn were being covered in Weeds and even though they would send out their Tech to spray it never remedied the problem. After two months of having them come out and not noticing a difference I had to fix the problem myself. Large portions of resodding and weed and feed and the problem is finally under control. Massey tried to bill me for last month service and I told them I was unhappy with the service and was canceling. Yes they offered to do another treatment but at this point I was Fed Up. Their last two treatments literally did nothing. I had to fix the problem myself and they still charged me even though I had to come out of pocket $$$ to do extra work to get the lawn fixed. I dont suggest going to them they are overpriced and you can get just as good service at other places.
