I went with Trutco Sept 14 th 2021. They did my pest and lawn application that day.The agreement was every 30 days. They scheduled today to come out again for my lawn. 18 days after first service.April answers the phone. I called her this morning about 9:05. She explained that they come into “ my neighborhood”. Today. If i dont want service id have to postpone until Oct. i didnt agree with that and it was never explained at the inital visit.BUT its the way she was speaking to me that was way off. First, shes a good friend of the owners. So i guess that that gives her the right or protection from loosing her job to speak the way she did. She was speaking 80 miles an hour with no let up and wouldnt letting me ask a question. She was on speakerphone and my husband heard the whole thing. She has an attitude.Its too bad that its because of her that i just cancelled. Im sure their business will suffer just because of her. There is no customer service.I understand that they record every phone call. Im glad. I hope that the owner hears the entire thing.With all the services out there, dont waste your time and money on this one.

Ive been with this company for 3 years now. My grass use to be so bad. Once Trutco started treating it, my grass is healthy and nice.

Richard is our technician. He is fantastic. He asked us how we liked the service, and what we needed him to address. He was professional, friendly, took care of our needs. Finally we found a technician that truly cared about our yard needs. We will keep Trutco as long as they keep employees like Richard. He represents professionalism to a T. Were happy with our service.

This service used to be 5 stars but Im not overly sure what changed. My lawn looked great and I rarely saw any weeds. I get back from a deployment and I have weeds all over especially on the strip between the sidewalk and road. I have spurge, sedge, broadleaf, some weeds Im not sure of. One particular (3rd from last picture) weed is in approximately 75% of my lawn. Used to be a nice service. They do have customer service.

Great service! They show up when they’re scheduled and answer questions in a timely manner with an educated explanation and solution. My grass is greener, fuller, and healthier. Their monthly door tag reminds me where to keep the height of my grass and the invoice outlines environmental factors due to weather etc. and what they’re doing to combat them.I noticed a difference the first month, but several mo the into it, I’m even more satisfied! This is a bit of home ownership I never considered, but i definitely see its value now!

Great service, i was shocked by the way my grass has improved after just 1 treatment. I originally had TruGreen for a little over 2 years, at the beginning i had no issues but towards my breakup from TruGreen my grass was very sluggish and just not lively at all. I did a little research before switching over, Trutco came out and did an estimate in a timely manner. Ended up being cheaper then what i was paying for TruGreen so thats another plus. The tech seems to be very knowledgeable and i am looking forward to my next service and watching my grass get stronger and more greener!

Very, very impressed with this company so far! Their communication on what exactly they are doing each month is fantastic. It is cheaper than I’ve been spending on fertilizer and weed treatments myself and the weeds are disappearing. If their prices stay down, I will be a customer for life.

I previously used other companies to maintain my lawn. After they continuously failed, I decided to hire Trutco. Since hiring them my lawn has boomed in terms of growth and and a deep rich color. Their formula is simple: Just follow our watering schedules and we will do the rest. I mow it to their specs and water it to their specs. My lawn is super thick, deep green and grows super fast. I used to hate mowing but now I like it because the yard looks professionally maintained. If your lawn wont grow with their product then you (and not them) are doing something wrong. Stick to their recommendations.

A neighbor asked me if I would like to have a green yard. I normally dont care. They told me about Trutco. I have used them for about 4 months. My grass has filled in and has taken on a lust green color. Listen to their water and mowing tips. It helps! Wish though that they were bigger because my family inn Tampa asked if they serviced their. Unfortunately, not. However, if they get more satisfied customers like me, Im sure that they will expand! It is nice though to have a local company because they are not focused all on money like the big national companies. The care about developing and withholding relationships with their customers.

Great company! I called after hours and left a message about some concerns I had in my backyard. They were out the next day, no questions asked, addressing my concerns. They retreated the yard (free) and also checked my sprinklers to make sure my coverage was good. Great prices and they back their product. Give em try if you are in the market.

An absolutely phenomenal lawn care service! The personalized lawn care, value, and results leave the competition in the dust. I have fired two previous lawn care companies for total incompetence. Actually my lawn was too far gone for them to help. But...the representative that came out was honest with me and gave me some professional tips on how to proceed from here. My thoughts were he could have just treated the lawn each month KNOWING that the applications were a moot point. I have only had the services of TRUTCO for several months now. However, I am extremely happy with all of the services. I also really like that I am informed the day before the technician arrives. I can then discuss any problems With the technician while he is on site. I have had other services in the past that have not worked out very well. However, to date I am very impressed with Trutco‘s services. Pricing is very reasonable also.

I just cannot say how much me and my family LOVE Trutco. They are very professional, punctual, and responsive. My yard went from neighbors asking if they can put out fertilizer for me to them asking me who did my yard. My yard looks BEAUTIFUL! I tried using McCalla and Safari, however, they were rude and very disrespectful to me and my wife because we questioned there diagnostic (which was wong). My yard has received 3 yard of the month awards all thanks to Trutco! I highly recommend this company! From their office staff to their technicians, they are the most friendly, caring, and loving group of staff that we ever met!

Technicians very knowledgeable, yard looks very healthy and in the unlikely event I ask them to come out and look at what might be a potential problem, they schedule a visit for the next day..Matt gets back to you same day if a question plus they give you a text heads up a few days before the next scheduled service..

So happy with Trutco. I used to have Turner Pest control take in charge of our lawn for 1 1/2 year but my grass was so unhealthy and still have weeds everywhere. I highly recommend Trutco! They turned around my St Augustine lawn after it had been neglected for years by the previous owner. I would say what sets them apart is the customer service. April is always quick to respond with any questions you have, they keep you informed of what is going on and when they are coming out to your property. Neil has been a great technician and has gone above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with the results. He really took the time to explain the treatments that were being done. That doesn’t stop after they earn your business either, they have come back out and followed up on trouble spots in my yard and retreated as necessary. I have recommended Trutco to a couple of friends and neighbors and they have also been very satisfied with the service provided. Once again highly recommend them!!!

I have been with Trutco for 4 years. I have tried other lawn service providers and none has brought my lawn to its beauty. I have had issues with Tructo, but they were willing and able to resolve any issues I had encountered. I will continue to use Trutco for seasons to come.

You name it... Ive tried just about every lawn service in Jacksonville for weeds, pesticide, etc... no one was able to bring my backyard back to what it was when we first bought the house. Stay away from FL Pest Control, MaxLawn, Southernlawn, Massey, Trads... none of them did what they said they would do... most importantly many of them falsified work as my backyard cameras caught many of these other companies had their technician look at the backyard and never spray fertilizer, etc... Trutco... is the best lawn service company in our area!

I’ve been using trutco for about 6 months now and I’m loving their customer service. Very happy with my lawn.

In March 2018 I changed my lawn/shrub service from a big brand-named company as they struggled to control weeds in my yard throughout their service time.I spoke with several lawn/shrub service companies about their service to decide on who I would move to. One company stood out from the others as they stated their service is a monthly service check of my yard prior to application. Before any application, they would then mix on site and apply what it needed at that time as all yards are different with respect to needs. That service approach made sense to me as opposed to my prior service of every other month service of a predetermined service application for my yard (and I suspect other yards); and to call if I had any problems (I called them quite a bit on weeds, etc.) So I decided to give Trutco a chance - and they as I glad!In a February 2019 discussion with my lawn cutting service person regarding mulching of shrub beds, he mentioned that my yard was the only yard that he cuts that he doesnt have any weed, and what was I doing different: I told home Trutco was the change.We are extremely satisfied with Trutco and highly recommend their yard/shrub service.

I called the company today to ask for a one-time fertilization and possible insecticide spray for my new St Augustine grass. The guy that answered immediately told me that they did not have time for a one time job, and they were just too busy for one time applications. This was very rude to me. If I had liked the service they provided, a one time application would have become a contract. Horrible customer service skills.

Our lawn was overwhelmed with Dollar Weed and looked awful. Trutcos knowledgeable and friendly team was able to diagnose our lawns deficiencies and we now have a healthy happy lawn. They were even able to recommend the proper watering length and times for us. We are extremely happy with there affordable service and highly recommend you give them a call!

Neil is what all service managers should follow when issues with weeds and poor fertilizer application occurs by the technician who came out to treat the lawn. Ive had Trutcos monthly lawn care service for 3 months. I have seen an improvement in my weeds and lawn. So far I am very pleased.

Trutco has helped my lawn so much! I recently had all of my grass replaced with new sod, and was horrified when I noticed brown spots that spread across the whole of it within a week. Matt came out right away, diagnosed the issue, and has been treating it now for just over a month. The fungus is dying off, the brown patches are no longer spreading, and I am looking forward to new growth. Im sure the sod replacement would have been a complete loss without the lawn service Matt provided. Very knowledgable, efficient, pleasant to work with, and a good value. Highly recommend!

BEWARE! have complained several times about my grass looking thin, weeds, etc. Trutco claims they treat my yard monthly. Today, I watched the service guy spread a little granular in the front yard. He never treated the sides or back yard. He just sat in his truck for a bit then left.Trutco, YOURE FIRED!

We started out with them on our new lawn. One year later, weeds were popping up everywhere. When I called to voice my unhappiness, the tech came out to take a look. His reply was “ for a yard this big, the weeds are considered acceptable.” Furthermore he said I could pull out the ‘random’ weeds by hand and if I wasn’t happy to do it, he will come out to do it. He pulled out the weeds I pointed to him and stuffed them into his pocket. He also said that once the lawn is mowed, I wouldn’t be able to see the weeds. What kind of logic is that?What really put me off was instead of trying to rectify the situation, he said if I was not happy with their service, I’m welcome to try other companies.

They call the night before each service. I like being able to talk about my lawn with the owner. They make good recommendations on the notes, and my grass has been steadily improving since I started service.
