James Gibbs is the best trainer I have ever had. His professional attitude and charismatic demeanor made the workout fun but also challenging in a good way. He is very knowledgeable about nutrition and fitness. He encourages questions and answers them to a high degree. I highly recommend him to anybody and everybody who comes to this gym.

James Gibbs is a very knowledgeable trainer and gives excellent tips in all areas. He was able to help fix my deadlift form by giving little tips that I didn’t know would help me out greatly. Because of this, I was able to increase my deadlift by 50lbs in just one week. I highly recommend him to anyone of any age for training because he is very professional and has tons of experience.

This gym has a kid zone childcare center with two active staff members present during child care hours (otherwise it is closed) and this advantage is INCLUDED with your gym membership! I dont have kids and it still impressed me. There are cameras in every area of the gym so you can look up and see your kiddo just fine.They have made to order shakes and a nutritional store inside.The cycling room is motivating with all the lights and the group fitness room has plenty of mirrors.The gym is very organized, extremely clean, and all of the staff members are polite and helpful.I love the app that allows you to schedule your spot in any of the offered fitness classes and you also use it to scan in rather than having a lame Keychain.You get a free session with one of their many qualified personal trainers and they go over your goals and obstacles and work you out for 30 minutes as well.The bathrooms are spotless and very spacious with showers and plenty of lockers.Management is doing it right!

The staff at this gym is amazing! Kele is great in the kid zone. She has helped my one year old so much with his separation anxiety. You can tell she is very experienced with small children and is patient. Sometimes that is hard to find in the childcare world! Joette is an outstanding spin instructor and has really made me love spin class!

I would like to give a shoutout to my personal trainer here at Fit4Life Jacksonville, Eirik Hergert. I have been training w/ Eirik since Sep 2020. We went over my goals as to where I started & currently. Made me want to go further after meeting each goal. Confidence level has skyrocketed since training w/ Eirik. In Dec 2020, I surpassed 2 major milestones: A 50lb+ loss & going from a 2X down to a L. Fast forward to now: Since the start w/ Eirik, I am happy to say I am now in my 180s (started at 247), lost inches, & down to a M. Even have some baby muscles waiting to sprout. I can go on, but to wrap it up, I know I wouldnt be where I am today if it wasnt for the continued support & guidance of Eirik. Hes the little voice in your head reminding you to never quit, & that youve come too far to regress. One last thing: Theres a reason Fit4Life Jacksonville was named Best of the Best for 2020. The trainers, staff, even fellow gym goers make you feel like you belong. It truly does have the we are all family feel. As you walk into this facility you greeted warmly. You are almost overwhelmed with the vast setup of equipment, rigs, and machines. Once you are settled the staff is very friendly knowledgeable and professional. All the areas are clean and re stocked. The locker rooms have plenty of space and storage. The showers agave plenty of hot/warm water. I personally have a trainer who is extremely motivating but holds you accountable. Erik has worked with me through an injury, taking time to meet any needs or concerns that I may have. This facility is also family friendly offering a great kid zone while you work out. There are plenty of various activities and classes that come along with your membership. The instructors are so cheerful and inspiring making you want to come back for more. All together this gym lives up to its name .. Fit 4 Life as we all want to be healthy on all our endeavors

Just signed up for another year at Fit4Life in Jacksonville. I love the staff, the accessibility offered, childcare, and the group classes. I found a love for cycling through this facility thanks to Joe! She is an amazing spin instructor! The only thing I would love to see is more bikes available for walk-ins due to the availability in the app filling up quickly. 😊

I started my fitness journey 6 weeks ago with Fit4life. And so far, it’s been amazing. My personal trainer Katie is awesome and knows exactly how to motivate and push me past my comfort. My kids also attended the kids zone and the women are amazing. If your looking for a clean, friendly workout environment- look no further this is definitely the place for you.

Best gym membership I ever had.Yes it cost a bit more to start up but quality is way better then quantity and it’s an investment to yourself and towards your gym. The gym is spacious even if it gets packed. Staff at the daycare are great and they genuinely care about my kids. Their shnacks / shakes are convenient. Best gym in jacksonville.

I started working with a trainer (Katie) here about a month ago and I’m already seeing great results! I wasn’t sure how to change my diet but they helped with that too! The facility is always clean, staff is always friendly and willing to help me with form, and they have a big enough facility that I never feel like the equipment isn’t available. I would highly recommend this gym!

I love fit for life I’ve been going there for almost a year and I love the vibe. The daycare is amazing along with the hours. You don’t feel uncomfortable they motivate you and help to encourage you to reach your goals. Definitely welcome you with open arms. I love it here!!!

Great facility and nice employees. Has pretty much everything you need and want and the big plus is theyre open 24/7. I would have given it 5 stars but I recently was charged $59 on my account for an annual maintenance fee that I had no idea about and I dont remember it being in the contract I have with them but even if it was, a heads up email would have been nice of when I was going to be charged that amount.

I’ve been going for about a month now. I train with Katie twice a week and she is a goddess! The facility is so clean and staff are friendly. My kids go to the drop in and they love it. It’s the only gym I’ve ever felt at home in!

I wanted to give a huge shoutout to Justin Beck . He is hands down the best trainer I could ever imagine having. He goes in depth explaining what is occurring with your body during exercises. If you ever have any questions he’s always helpful. He is very encouraging and gives you realistic expectations and goals. I thoroughly enjoy that he can keep up with my sarcasm/complaining, all while still keeping me on track. I adore how dedicated he is to his clients results. Having him equally excited to see your strength go up says volumes about his dedication to his job.

The Gym Staff is so amazing here, I previously was at another gym (golds gym is trash) and they were dirty and unfriendly. I love how I am welcomed when I enter along with the cleanliness of the equipment.

I absolutely enjoy going to this gym. Theyre prices are affordable, the cheapest by far in Jacksonville. Its my second home. The staff members are polite and extremely helpful. The space and the variety of equipment offered is awesome. I would definitely recommend this gym.

Joining Fit4life has been a life changing experience for me. I joined having no basic knowledge of a gym, over weight, depressed and just over whelmed with life. I hired my personal trainer Justin Beck and he has taught me so much. I have lost over 15 pounds, 13 inches, gone down 6 sizes and built muscles. He has changed my life in ways he will never know.The staff is now family, always welcoming and helping, very knowledgeable and willing to help with whatever your needs may be.

Not only has the staff been rude on multiple occasions concerning an issue that they still continue to push off, they have yet to pay back $600 from February of 2021. We still continue to call and show evidence that they owe us and suddenly they say that they do not, even when the evidence has Proven correct against them. AND JUST BECAUSE IM A WOMEN, I FEEL IGNORED AND TREATED SUCH AS A WASTE OF TIME.

The Gym is Large and well equipped. The staff is friendly and they keep the facility very clean. On top of all of this Fit4Life is Open 24hrs a Day, 7 Days a Week. I highly recommend this place for everyone.

I’ve been coming to this gym for about a year now and it’s everything you can dream of in a gym! They have everything I need and more for my workouts & I can’t say enough about the child care. The facility is always clean and the area for the children is always so clean and many things for little ones to do. I wish I could bring this gym back to Florida with me!

Great gym! Love the open concept, and machines are grouped by similar muscles. The only thing its missing is a sauna and a hot tub and Id give it 6 stars.

The worst gym and contract I’ve ever had. I relocated and provided all the necessary documentation to prove it and they didn’t void my contract they just sent the remaining balance of the rest of my contract to collections. The worst experience with a gym I’ve ever had. Don’t come here and don’t get stuck.

I personally feel like they need to work on their communication, being told one thing but doing another thing especially when it comes to charges and pricing. Im in a contract so I am still going to come to the gym, besides lack of communication from the staff, the gym is clean and has a lot of options when it comes to working out. I like how clean the locker rooms are as well.

Fit4Life Jacksonville is hands down the best gym in town! I’d like to give a personal thank you, and review for my trainer Eirik Hergert! I signed up for personal training in November 2020. Eirik has taught me so much about fitness, and nutrition as well as making sure I meet every goal I set for myself. He holds me accountable, and pushes me to work even harder during each session. Eirik is extremely professional, and goes above and beyond for every single client he has as well as the people he meets with daily to do Fitness Assessments! I am proud to say in the few months of training with Eirik, I have lost many inches, went down 4 pant sizes, and lost 25lbs! Eirik is an incredible personal trainer, and he will 100% make sure you are taken care of! I am extremely grateful for Eirik and the entire Fit4Life staff! They are all encouraging, uplifting, and help every member they encounter!

I have been on a weightloss journey for over 10 years and have had my ups and downs with it losing 94 pounds and gaining back 13 if those pounds through the lockdowns of covid and then I heard that fit4life of Jacksonville opened so I came in and enrolled and they set me up with a free fitness assessment and decided to get a trainer through them. My trainer is Eirik and he is an amazing trainer that doesn’t just put you through the passes he listens to your concerns and finds the best workout plan to fit your needs. If you are struggling I recommend getting a trainer they will change your life. Fit4life is the cleanest gym I have ever been in with great equipment choices and a friendly and helpful staff! So get on down to the spot!

I have been a member of several gyms over the years. Fit4 Life, by far, has been the best. Clean, organized, well-maintained-great selection of equipment. Perfect for all levels of fitness. Always pleasant and engaging all of their members and potential members.

Hands down, the Best Gym in Jacksonville! This gym is large inside, with lots of fitness equipment and space. Its the most comfortable place Ive worked out at as there are all walks of people here. The Training Staff here is amazing and have helped both my wife and I get in shape and meet our fitness goals. The gym is kept constantly clean and sanitized by a caring gym staff. They alao have several great instructors for outdoor group classes, such as spin cycle, Zumba, kickboxing, yoga and several other classes I didnt mention. Go check out Fit4Life and make yourself a better and fit person.

Gym is great and equipment is great. The staff is friendly, however sometimes feel like they are more concerned with socializing rather than maintaining the gym. The bathrooms are often very dirty and THREE times I have gone to the bathroom to find no toilet paper on the stall... so I had to do the weird penguin shuffle to the next stall to get toilet paper. One time understandable, but three times!? C’mon man. I went to the front desk and the red haired girl said she would have it taken care of, went after workout just to see and it was still empty. I can never get anyone to answer when I call. And last complaint, I have gone to this gym for about a year now and the first bathroom stall still doesn’t lock. It has been like that since I’ve been here.

I would usually go around 5:30am and it was never crowded. Always clean. Plenty of space and equipment. The staff is very friendly and helpful. As well as other members. I feel very comfortable here. I continue to go to this gym for the equipment offered. The staff is unprofessional, childish, and hateful. They participate in name calling and disrespectful antics. If you are thinking about joining this gym; Dont. You are better off going some where else.

Fit for life is the worst gym we have been out of the gym for quite some time and have cancelled our subscription yet they have still charged over $700 to us and have declined a refund for our unused and charged gym time

I’ve lived in Jacksonville for about 12 years and I am glad there is finally a gym that is both clean and has all the weights you need. I appreciate Jenn for helping me transition from my old gym to Fit4Life. She was very knowledgeable and nice. If you’re looking for a new gym, then you should definitely tour this place.

This gym is not only gorgeous, It is packed with great equipment, and it has a completely different atmosphere to any other gym I have ever been in. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The gym itself is always SO clean! The training staff is also very helpful and knowledgeable and they give some amazing results.I am definitely missing Fit4life during this quarantine and can’t wait to get back to it.

Such an open and spacious gym. The most versatility in Jacksonville. They have tons of free weight machines, dumbbells, squat racks, amazing childcare and group fitness classes. They really focus on cleanliness too. Especially with Covid going on, everyone gets their own spray bottle with wash cloth and their temperature taken before entering. The staff is great too! Jennifer behind the desk really cares about you as a person. She knows everyone’s story and checks in on them if they haven’t been there in a while. You join a family when you join Fit4Life Jacksonville.

Joe & Jena at the front desk are my favorite faces to see while checking in at the gym! They always have smiles on their faces & check you in quickly!

The staff has always been extremely kind and welcoming other than Heather who works at the front desk. She was extremely condescending during our conversation. Even when I asked her for the manager Eric’s schedule, she said he just comes and go’s.

When I finally accepted that there doesn’t have to be a start and finish.. that fitness and self-care is a life-long journey and there isn’t a 30-day miracle challenge that will fix all my problems.. I started to enjoy working out.. I looked forward to coming in everyday, ESPECIALLY on my bad days!A year and some change later and I have maintained my 30lb weight loss. I am not where I want to be but I am definitely enjoying the journey and learning more every day!
