I cannot say enough good things about Junk King! After my grandpa passed away, we had the overwhelming task of cleaning out his house and did not know where to start. I called Junk King and they were incredibly responsive, professional and kind during a tough situation. On the day of our service, the technicians arrived early and worked hard to clean out an entire house in 5 hours. Brian and Hayward are the best! Everyone I spoke with was nice and professional. After scheduling an appt, Ray called and was upfront about the cost and offered for me to shop around. We had a window of two hours for them to come and remove our hot tub. They came earlier rather than later. It was a big job but, the guys were prepared and had a great attitude about the job. On top of that, they did an outstanding job removing it and cleaning up. I would definitely use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Called them and they couldn’t be nicer and were able to give me a quote over the phone (many junk removal co’s don’t) and arrange an exact time and date w email confirmations and reminders. I am currently cleaning out a property and have used this company 2x in the past with no issue and customer service has always been great. Unfortunately, that was not the case this time around.Last time I used Junk King, a dumpster was delivered on Memorial Day weekend. The reason I chose to use Junk King (instead of their competitors) was because of their $30 off Memorial Day coupon. I was told that coupon would be honored at pick up and it was not. I didn’t challenge this and assumed I was incorrect, so I moved on and paid the bill without coupon or complaint.Fast forward to this week. I decided to give junk king a try for the 3rd time. I saw a $25 off coupon online, I even called the # and spoke with a female representative on recorded line to book the dumpster delivery. She confirmed that I could use the $25 coupon for my booking. While I had her on the phone, I inquired about my last coupon that wasn’t honored (naturally, concerned about this one, too) and she assured me that this time, both would be honored. I was very pleased with the customer service and of course, booked another dumpster with Junk King.They delivered it later than the agreed upon window, but no big deal. I knew we were getting a few bucks off so I wasn’t complaining.However, when the delivery driver Jamal texted me with the bill amount today, it did not include the $55 discount I was promised at booking. When I asked to speak with a manager about this, Jamal only texted me telling me his boss said the coupon wasn’t for the type of dumpster I had. I insisted on speaking to the manager both verbally and via text before my card was charged. I explained and showed him the coupons, he wouldn’t respond further and my card was then charged an unauthorized amount. I still haven’t heard from a manager.Twice now they have refused to honor coupons the booking representative said would be honored on their recorded line. My only communication was from a delivery driver’s text messages. This company is unprofessional, at best.I will not use or recommend this company to anyone in the future.

I was looking for a company that provides dumpster service and came across Junk-King. I called them and was able to immediately schedule service for the next available container. The driver who brought the container took good care of my driveway and was super careful not to damage anything. Many days later when we were done, the driver - like the previous driver - who came to pick up the container took the same care when he loaded it up to take away.All in all I was very happy with the service and will definitely use them again when need to clear out the next house we’re moving to. Awesome team and very professional!!

We were renovating our house and needed to throw out tons of construction materials. Junk King was the most affordable option we found. Their fees were straight forward. It was $274 for the dumpster, an extra $100 if we went over a ton, and another $100 if we overfilled it. No surprises! They left it on our driveway, and picked it up three days later. Jamar communicated with us every step of the way, and even texted me the total weight afterwards so we knew we went over and by how much. Super professional! We ended up only paying $374, compared to the College Hunks, who quoted us over $600 for the same amount of trash. Thank you Junk King!

My wife and I have moved more than ten times since we got married just 15 years ago. Moving suggests we never had a chance to accumulate alot of stuff; but that would be wrong.Junk King made the cleanly incredibly simple. They dropped off their Mini sized dumpster (which is enough to toss pretty much everything in a one bedroom house into) bright and early. I asked if there was anything I needed to do, the driver told me nope. You did it all online, already signed for and everything. He then left and I proceeded to throw out enough old junk to start my own thrift store.They came out first thing in the morning three days later, hitched it up and took it away. I filled about half to maybe three-quarters of it. Only paid $189 in total. That is an incredibly cheap price.They do call in advance when bringing and retrieving the bins; I’m bad about answering my phone but they keep you posted on what they’re doing so you know whether or not you need to be doing something sooner rather than later. I will definitely be using their service again if I ever need to toss out more stuff or do a deep cleaning.Thanks Junk King!!

I called before my reserved drop off time to make sure that payment would not be due at that drop off time as I need to wait until my paycheck dropped. If so I would need to reschedule. The man I spoke too assured me that payment would process on the scheduled pick up date (after my payday). But when they got here they tried to run my card for $150 “for a deposit” which I need to know before they came here. That’s why I called and asked!!!!! I had to tell them to take it back. Ruined the only day I have off to do the work I needed done.

OMGOODNESS. Junk King of Jacksonville was the best experience I ever had using dumpsters. The dumpster was supposed to arrive between 8am-12pm. They arrived at 9am. The drop was smooth and required nothing from us. I was extremely pleased with the cleanliness of the container. First time seeing one so clean! The container was supposed to be there for 3 days, however we filled it on the first day. No problem, they picked it up 2 days early without charge or hassle. I called junk kings around 11 o’clock in the morning and they were at our home within an hour and a half and removed everything we needed gone from a current renovation we did on our home. Used a few different dumpster companies this year. I just used junk king they picked everything up today, everything with this company was great but they could work better when delivering the dumpster. They put it catty-cornered so some of the dumpster was in my neighbors yard, but my neighbor worked with me on that issue. Besides that they are great, the people on the phone were nice and helpful in making sure I got the best service and the pick-up guy was great too. Once they work on how they communicate with the homeowner when delivering better then this will be one of the best dumpster companies in jacksonville!

When I called was able to have my items picked up the next day. I did receive a call 20min prior to them coming. The gentlemen were very nice looked at what I had and gave me a very good price. My stuff was all gone within an hour. I will be needing to have some more things hauled away in the future and I will probably be calling junk king.

I scheduled a same-day appointment for between 5 and 7pm, which was the earliest slot available. I got a call at 12:38 saying they were in the area and could come by then if it was okay.
