After having the most horrific experience at the Norwood Ave store. I swore off ever going back. It was the help of Alex who took care of me so I would not have to deal with the poor customer service and manager at the previous store, that changed my mind. Cant wait for my new found business relationship and new Washer and Dryer!

This place is truly very expensive! I know people have to start somewhere, but this place is just extorting money from people. I give this place a thumbs down.

I love them they are the best and I recommend service from them they are very professional and understanding I will be getting all my home supplies from them they made me feel so much at home and I’m proud to be one of they valued customers they are the best❤️❤️❤️

My wife and I had a situation where we needed furniture right away, particularly a bed and frame. Alex made it happen on the same day. They showed up at our door, delivered and set up the bed for us and were very friendly and professional.

The management at this buddies store has an issue with calling people back, we’ve purchased many things from the store and paid them off completely sofa loveseat, washer dryer among other things when it comes to beds do not go to buddies. This is what happens you tell them you want the top of the line memory foam mattress so then they give you a regular mattress and it caves in then they come to replace the bad mattress that they gave you because they were supposed to give you a memory foam mattress so then they bring you the most bargain basement memory foam mattress that they have. You’re paying for the premium memory foam mattress which is a Sealy but then they bring you the cheapest bed that they offer and when it starts to fall apart within the second week of having it they refuse to return your phone call so I would suggest not going to this buddies because the management staff is very angry and disgruntled about having this job and they don’t treat their customers with respect. They bait and switch customers with products For instance the washer and dryer that we wanted was not the washer and dryer they gave us we wanted the Maytag or whatever it was that was on their show floor and of course they didn’t have that so they gave us some knock off brand washer and dryer this is what they do this is the scam here at this buddies the offer you namebrand products but when they go to put them in your house they give you the junkiest stuff they have hoping that you won’t complain or say anything.

The staff at this location is extremely helpful and attentive. They make sure you walk out the door satisfied and with what you need. It is always clean and they make you feel welcomed. They sure define the meaning of Buddy.

Very poor service! I wanted to rent a bedroom set for a weekend, I was told that I would have to rent it for a minimum of 3 months so they could make money on the rental!

Alex is the main girl I work with she has all of her customers best interest in mind, an she cares an I love the company an her as well. I will always choose them over Aaron’s an RAC any day, an any year cause they always treated me with respect an part of the family. I appreciate the whole company thank you for the wonderful experience you have given me an my family.

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE! I should have known better, the day i went to put the money down they were rude but being that i needed furniture asap i still moved forward. They delivered my furniture and it was missing the chest. When i asked the delivery driver where it was he said hes have to get back with me. After he spoke with Alex he told me that my set didnt come with that specific piece unless i asked for it. Yet when i went in the store i showed her a picture of this set and stated i want this full set. Fast forward a week from the date of delivery, me and my kids are sitting on my bed it collapses. When i lift up the mattress i notice my king size mattress and box spring was supported by 2 small pieces of plywood. They did not install the correct bed support. I called and they apologized and gave me a date for a member of the team to come and repair my bed. The day comes and no one shows up, i call and schedule for another day, again no one shows up. It is not the 3rd time i have scheduled for them to come out and they show up the material to fix a Queen set and not a King. So i called again 4th time, finally they come out. I am not home at the time but my Husband is with our children. When i get home i look under the bed too see how they repaired my bed. I see at least 8 pieces of plywood nailed to the bed frame. My NEW vinyl flooring in my NEW apartment is ripped up from the ground under the bed and beside eat wood plank their is scratches on the floor. It is not about my 6th time reaching out to them so they can come out to repair my flooring. I keep getting the run around and the date that they scheduled to come out guess what? No one showed up, what a surprise. I am extremely upset and disappointing with the professionalism of Buddys Furniture. Like i said, no not rent here, go anywhere but here. I also read a review form another person about how they get rude when payment is late and this is very true! i was late one time on my payment due to Covid-19 and when i called they said i mean really? You only had if for a month and you are already late .. Worst first experience renting from a furniture store. Corporate if you are reading this please repair my flooring correctly because this will not come out of my pocket.

Now that Dave is gone, the new manager’s customer service is terrible. Losing a long time customer. Can’t believe how bad they treat their customers. I would NEVER recommend people to come here. I’ll be taking my business else where!!!!

Never Rent from this place they are the most unprofessional people in the world will call you lie about your payment balance and pocket you so called hidden feesbunch a con artist taking advantage of lower class people trying to have nice things. DONT SET YOURSELF UP FOR FAILURE

The only reason I’m giving two stars is because of Dave always keeping his word. I used to love this place when they were formerly homesmart but the customer service is absolutely awful. The staff keeps changing and so does mgmnt. I like the same as cash option that lets me pay at my own pace so I try hard to do that without killing my pockets each pay period. The new staff are so rude and unorganized.the “credit manager” over promises and under delivers!! If Dave is not in there it’s absolutely horrible. I make sure to always speak with Dave as he is the only one who seems to care about customers. After I pay out my last item I’m never returning here. Ever.

Customer service is by far the best ever !!!

Went online to post an order, It was accepted and I received a call from Stephen telling me to head in when I could to come file and pick it up. When I made the drive over I went in, Stephen was nowhere to be found and I instead spoke to a woman at the front counter who informed me that the item I was looking for hasnt existed in the store at all since Christmas. Stephen had told me that it was available and hed have it ready for me when I came in and that he likely was aiming to get me in to try and down sell me to a lower less functional model. Nice customer service folks.Id recommend going to Aarons or Rent-A-Center instead of these. Theyre all crooks but at least Aarons and RAC are up front about it.
