We used their services several years ago for repair of water damage from a plumbing leak. They handled the communication with the property insurance company and coordinated the contractors. They recommend being the first on the scene to coordinate with the insurance company because they know how to advocate for you in terms of the best scope of work.I recommend this service especially for landlords, homeowners, absentee owners--pretty much anyone.

Coastal handled a $40K water damage claim on our home in 2012, and I would warn you to avoid this company. After they completed the job and had collected the insurance proceeds, we have had AC issues, plumbing issues and issues with both the tile and hardwood flooring they installed through their flooring contractor, Mike Reeves. Coastal has not taken accountability for any of the issues. I would recommend that you find someone else to handle your construction needs, as I dont feel that Coastal will stand behind their work, or that of their subcontractors.
