I was really wanting to use violets for my wedding gown alterations however kept calling and driving by for over a week no responses and no cars/signs on door. Finally got a answer and she is closed for good. Don’t waste your time hoping you will get her like I did as she had great reviews and has done alterations on my fiancé’s stuff before.

I had my wedding dress altered here, and they did an excellent job. They even fixed my detached sleeves as well! The women were very kind, and the turn around time was pretty quick. Rudest people ever. They also don’t wear masks during the pandemic so you walk in and feel extremely uncomfortable. I don’t usually leave reviews but for them I will make an exception.

Violet was able to get me in the second I called her shop. She was very kind and hospitable the second I walked in the door. She provides a very private, one on one experience. She did not rush me out the door in any way. She even found things on my wedding dress that no one else had noticed! The buttons on the back of my dress did not flow smoothly down my back and had a small gap or whole between the buttons and the zipper. She knew just what to do and did a quick fold and the dress was more perfect then I could have imagined. I enjoyed her services so much, I asked her if it was possible for her to attach pearls to my plain veil and she is going to hand sew them on for me for less then $20! She is practically remaking parts of my dress to fit me and be what I want and shes doing it all together for under $260 for a remake wedding dress and veil hand sewn! I cannot wait to pick up my order next week and will leave another review on here to let you know how it turned out! I highly recommend her so far! I will not be going anywhere else from here on out! My sister is even traveling from Oklahoma to ask her to do her Maid of Honor Dress!Update: she ended up doing all of our dresses and they all came out beautifully! She worked with our schedules so much.

Hard working people at a down to home feeling kind of place. Very accommodating to wants. Had an incident with an article of clothing, the owner went the same day and purchased an identical piece and still had in tailored within the original timeline. Can’t get that kind of service at many “mom and pop” places anymore. Have gained my business for years to come.

So amazing! I took my wedding dress there to be hemmed and it was not only completed in one day but it was so PERFECT! You couldnt even tell where she had done any work! Everything was perfectly altered and sewn back together! Couldnt be more happy. 10 out of 10 will go here again if I need any alterations!

Violets is phenomenal. This place is a quick fix for any last minute alterations that wont cost you an arm and a leg. I dropped something off in the morning and it was ready for pick up in four hours. The items were appropriately placed and no errors could be found. Violet is amazing, super sweet and has no hesitation getting things done last minute. had my boyfriends suit fitted for a wedding and we went in couple days before we went. she got it done with no problem and she is very reasonably priced.

I had her alter three shirts for me that were a couple sizes way too big... They look absolutely perfect now! The staff was super friendly and made sure the shirts were exactly as I wanted them. The seamstress is excellent, you cant even tell that they were ever altered or larger. Highly recommend.

My wedding dress was backordered and arrived 3 days before I flew out for my wedding. My dress was too snug and wouldnt zip. I took my dress in and she let it out and added a hook. I cant thank her enough for fixing my dress so fast and beautifully!

I have been using Violets alterations for 5 years now for my ball gowns, and every time the work has been excellent. She can always alter my gowns even when I wait until the last minute to bring it in. She listens to how I want the dress to fit, and makes sure the alterations are perfect before letting it leave the store.

Friendly and helpful people. I had to do a military funeral I found out about the night before and I needed my uniform modified same day. For a small up charge they sewed on a patch in the time it took me to return from an ATM.Thank you!

Mrs. Violet helped alter a dress I had bought online for a wedding which I left for the next morning. After being turned down by 5 other places, I called her not hopeful and she told me to bring it in. She had the alterations and beading done within 4 hours. She was very pleasent to work with. I will be taking all of my alterations to her from now on.

Very nice lady. I was very short notice and frankly irresponsible and she still did great. She sewed three patches and only charged about $10 extra. She got the job done in under an hour. Shes native Albanian so sometimes she had with English but she was very precise when it came to exactly what to do (i also had a navy uniform so theres even a higher margin for error)but i didnt feel like she misunderstood what i asked her to do because she asked questions when something was unclear. I definatly recommend her.
