This is my go to barber place. Reasonably priced clean and well staffed. Perfect haircut no matter which barber chair you sit in.

Sugar gives great customer service. A hot towel shave and head massage all for 8 dollars. Great deal.

Best barbershop in Jacksonville by far. If you need a clean razor cut fade for the week especially on a budget, Mrs. Lynn will hook you up. I’ve been to 4 other barbers around Jacksonville and all of them were twice as expensive with a garbage finish.

If youre a Marine, and typically only need the sides done. Itll cost you $8. Need the top done, as well as a line up? $10 is the price tag! Plus free drinks!! Dont have cash? Dont worry they installed 2 ATMs for your convenience so you dont have to worry about driving to the nearest gas station to get you money. I will also add that they do just about everything to try and make sure your pesky cut hair doesnt end up on the inside of the collar of your shirt! Great service and attitude as soon as you walk in especially for a Sunday at 8pm and dont close until 10pm.

Very nice staff. They even have drinks for you. The wait is long on the weekend, but they have good music. This place is mainly for anybody, but Marines are the main customers.

Today was my first time visiting this business and I was impressed with today’s experience. I was not surprised at a short wait having arrived at 9:15 am on a Friday; however, your Sunday experience may differ according to the staff.“CW” (I think) did an excellent job and was very friendly. Having the top trimmed with shears instead of with clippers, which is how most Barber Shops cut the top, was a welcomed change. A razor fade is included in the price. All for $8.Overall, the shop was clean, the staff was welcoming, and I left with a nice haircut.

Very good place to get your hair cut. They offer the razor shave, which, in non-military towns, you cant find. They are super cheap, have plenty of workers on busy days, hours suitable for your busy schedule and even offer drinks! Shaves come with a warm towel. I gave this place 4 stars, only because the closeness of the razor fade varies with certain stylists. But, it happens.

I went in and I guess I mustve caught the barber on his way out. He rushed through the haircut and made a terrible mess of it. Planning to go back to see if they will fix it, if they are willing to make it right i will update my review.

Very poor customer service. Came in on a Tuesday for the first time. The lay out of the place is odd so I waited to be greeted or told whos available. First lady I seen seemed aggravated and just said go that way. Went to the back just to find two more frustrated women cleaning up..no greeting, no how you doing?..Very low energy..just a bad vibe in that place. Haircut was ok but not good enough to return. * CUSTOMER SERVICE is everything.*

I’ve been going here for the last 4.5 years. Gina usually cuts my hair and she does an awesome job every single time. I’ve used several other barber shops in the Jacksonville and Havelock areas and nobody compares to this place. 6 months ago I moved an hour away and I still get my hair cut here because I know Gina won’t disappoint

Got a great haircut at a reasonable price. Nice atmosphere and I really like having a ticket number to be called for next in line. This was my first visit so I didnt know to take a ticket but other than that the flow was great. Will definitely go back!

Haircuts done by the women are always decent haircuts, and would recommend those haircuts. However the man on the seat immediately to the right on the second seat did this to me. Cut me terribly and presses on your hair with the machine and the razor. I have been a long going client for awhile but now questioning whether or not to go back. I am under suspicion that he was using a used razor which is unsanitary. The damage done to the skin is terrible, and hoping it doesn’t get infected. Make sure they pull out a new blade in front of you and don’t get a haircut from that guy. Worst experience I have ever had here, and i won’t be waking my way back there and I will make sure my other Marine buddies never return to this place.

I have been to this barbershop twice and had bad experiences both times.My first time was with Kat. The haircut she gave was good, but midway through she started bragging about how she loves displaying her confederate flag. Very unprofessional. Theres a reason why the military is banning its use, and thats because the confederate flag has been used as a hate symbol since its creation. Its not Southern Pride.I figured I would see another stylist in hopes that I had an isolated experience. I dont know the name of the stylist, but she is an older asian woman who sat at the first chair on the left when you walk in the entrance (on a Saturday afternoon). I asked for a medium fade. She proceeded to give me the highest fade Ive ever received in my five years of being enlisted.Im sure there are a couple good barbers here, but its not worth the gamble. I wont be going back to Razors Edge, and Im not recommending it to friends.

Terrible haircuts. If you like your high and tights with semi decent fades, sure, go here, but if you like to grow your hair out a little bit and just get a fade and have nothing else done to the rest of your hair, do not go here. Out of 5 of the barbers there that I’ve gone to, two have done pretty good jobs at cutting my hair. I’ve asked for medium skin fades that go down in the back with a hard part. Those two did pretty good. Not the best I’ve had, but good enough for my every week haircut. None of them have given me straight lines with the fade, especially the past two weeks. Last week, the lady went too high and didn’t blend the long hair that she touched with the area she was actually cutting. This week, a different lady completely cut all the length off of the sides and back and used clipper over comb over the right side where the hair on top blends into the hair on the side and took all the length away from that, so I have length missing from the end of the hair that sits on top going into the side. The hair I had blending into the back is non existent anymore and sticks out/ up completely.This is getting long but I’m hoping y’all get my point. Their haircuts are not very good. You can make due with it for your every week haircuts and if you’re okay with looking like a boot fresh out of boot camp. They are really nice people but some of them are hard to understand and definitely don’t understand their customers well.I’m finding a new barber once I get back in town. These barbers are not worth the money I’m spending week to week.

Excellent haircuts, nice people, clean and modern. They have many people working,Keep in mind like all haircutting places the stylists rent chairs. This business leases to people who have experience. If you dont like a particular haircut, come back and ask for someone else. They are very busy because they care about their customers. And the price is right, cant beat it.

I have been coming here for almost a year now. Never once have I received a bad haircut. All the ladies are friendly and great at cutting hair and etc. The price for a haircut is amazing. Poor customer service, I was not greeted or reciprocated by my “barber”. I should’ve left right then. Then the haircut. I received an extremely high fade that was uneven on both sides, though I asked for a medium razor fade. I get a haircut every week...how can mess up that up? The faded area is still there...I also made the mistake to get the top of my hair touched up and I left with an obvious uneven line up on my forehead. Maybe there are good barbers here, but I did not get one.

A friend told us about this place & we are SO thankful that she did. We took our three boys here to get haircuts & they did a fantastic job. The women were very gentle & kind to them & we LOVED the way their haircuts turned out. To top it off, the kids cuts were only $10 each!! We wont be going anywhere else from now on! :)

Overall very good haircuts, but the old gentleman that cuts in the back should not be cutting hair at all!!! I asked for a little off the top with a shave. Felt like I was back at the island when I got the cut. Left me with about a half inch on the top and mind you that it was like 2 and a half and I left with no shave. Who tf asks someone what they want and the turn around and say f that. If you want the bootcamp experience definitely go to that gentlemen. Overall great experience.

We are from out of town. My husband and son both received the best haircuts ever! Wish we lived closer. My daughter and I both enjoyed a game of checkers while we waited. We were all offered a drink even though my daughter and I didnt get haircuts. Thank you!

My favorite place to go for a haircut in Jacksonville. Talented all female staff. They offer Free drinks in a beautiful environment. They stamp a card for free haircuts. We have been going to this barber shop for over 2 years. Its a place our children love to go to, and my husband wont get his haircut from anywhere else. I wanted to get on here and write a review on how great this place is. I was kind of shocked this past visit (Monday) because i seen a hairdresser wearing very short shorts with a belly shirt. This place has been very classy, and the stylists have always dressed appropriately, so I am not sure if this person was new, but I was taken back by it. Hopefully it was a one time thing, because I have always valued the family style setting, and like I said, I havent had any concerns till our last visit. The owner is amazing, and the ladies that have been working their for years are also amazing!

Always great hair cuts from the women that have cut my sons hair. I do have one MAJOR concern. I noticed that some barbers used the same disposal razor on more than one client without cleaning it. This is a major health issue.

Ive been stationed on Lejeune for 4 years and I have tried almost every barber shop in the city of Jacksonville. Ive been coming to Razors Edge weekly for months and I havent left with anything other than a satisfying hair cut. Free razor fades while the other barber shops around town charge an additional fee for that extra-close cut. Id recommend this place to any Marine in the local area. Ive also had my childrens hair cut here and they did an exceptional job while my kids wiggled and tried to escape. 5 star rating!

Love this place. Fair prices, very clean, and very friendly and accommodating staff. Ive never had my haircut messed up here and they are priced similarly to the other barber shops in town. Youll definately get more for less here, and the environment is just as good as the hair cuts. Would definately recommend. Cheers!

Military haircuts right outside Camp Lejeunes Wilson Gate. I go here ever other week. The waiting area is very comfortable, which is important because sometimes the wait can be a little long on Saturdays. The haircut themselves vary depending on the stylist you get; most are pretty good. Its a great atmosphere and worth the price you pay, and the rewards for repeat business arent too bad either. Free WiFi, bathrooms and beverages for those waiting, but it is a cash only business. ATM is on location.

If you are looking for a great haircut in a clean and very hospitable environment then this is your place.. the staff is wonderful and take their time to ensure you get the haircut you want.... I will not get a cut from any other shop in town.

Been to a couple of places for haircuts and this is by far the best one. $8 military cut with razor if you want, free drinks, free wifi, good environment. The staff is all female and they cut hair very well. Theyre nice as well. In all, this is where you should be getting your haircut.

I have went to both Razor Edge barber shops, and they are great. You get a FREE drink, and the barbers are polite, and a lot better then the PX.

Very nice environment offered free wifi and beverages, however the haircut I received was very less than satisfactory. Specifically explained what I wanted and received almost the opposite, on top of that I asked for only to have the top thinned out and she cut a couple inches off because she thought it would look better. Like I said nice environment but I will pay the extra and go down to the razors edge on Henderson where they take their time and do you up with professional squared away fades and hair cuts.

Went in and literally said low fade, keep the sides and top long with a hard part and pointed where I wanted the part and she gave me a high fade and no part so I had like 5-6 inches of hair on top and I said lets fix this and she literally gives me a high and tight. I literally have no idea how that happened. To add matters worse she didnt even fade the high and tight right.

The Barbers are nice, the Ambiance is good, the haircuts are solid, and Im going to be coming back for sure for another cut. A++

It is the best place to recieve a haircut. They actually listen tok what you want and dont mess up as much as other places do. I also think that the drinks for customers was a great idea, makes you feel at home.
