If you want a terrible haircut in 5 minutes this is the place to go.The lady that cut my hair didnt listen to what I wanted. I asked for a medium fade but the lady gave me a high fade instead. Also I told her not to cut the front but she was about to anyways before I told her not to.Please get your haircut from somewhere else.

Long overdue, but this shop is the real deal!Ive been seeing Ken since I moved here. He moved from his last shop to Lous, and the switch couldnt have been better! Ken seems much happier, and even more thorough than other times. Rather than have the other barbers staring at a TV and not really speaking to you, they were all engaged. I go to a barber shop for a good cut, at a great price, to converse with the other people there, and thats exactly what I got! Highly recommend this place, theyre all great; even though I moved because of Ken, Id trust any of them with my hair, and thats saying a lot!

Good price. Haircuts are surprisingly inconsistent. They only except cash. Not bad overall especially for the price.

This has to be one of the worst haircuts I have ever gotten! I only cut my hair 3 or 4 times a year, so my standards of how my hair looks are almost non existent. The entire haircut took at the very most 10 minutes. The entire experience felt very rushed, as if she didnt want to deal with me. My hair is uneven with large patches of hair seemingly missed. There is no definition to my hairline. Unfortunately my hair is cut to a length that I have to wait at least two weeks in order to have it fixed by someone else. This is not a burger that was made incorrectly. This is my life, while Ill admit I dont cut my hair as often as I should. If I pay you for a service I would hope you have enough pride in your work ethic to do it correctly. If she was not comfortable with cutting my hair i just wished shed said so.

I started going here when I found out that my favorite barber Ken now works here. I move around a lot and every place I move to, I always make it a point to find a barber who can give me not only the haircut I want, but also the haircut thats best for me when I myself have doubts. Suffice it to say, Im not one to just settle for the closest supercuts.Admittedly, it took me a while to find Ken but it was worth all the mediocre haircuts and barbers I had to endure prior to him. In my opinion, hes the best barber in Jacksonville! If you know Ken, then you know this to be absolutely true. He really listens to you and makes sure that both of you are on the same page before even starting on your hair.Aside from his calm, relaxing demeanor, hes also very light on his hands and gentle with your head. Bonus points as well for being able to talk to you about pretty much anything under the sun (for us its gaming). Ive been having Ken cut my hair for 2 years now and so long as Im in Jacksonville, I trust no one else with my hair but good old #KenTheBarber.The fact that this establishment is both a barbershop AND a salon also means that my wife and I can come in to have our hair done together. Shes been looking for a good hairdresser that wont cost an arm and a leg and it looks like we found our spot. Where else can you turn a haircut into a bonding experience with your spouse? Were doing exactly that on our next visit and I cant wait!Important Note: For now, they only take cash so make sure to bring that paper!

Ken is the man! I went to the barber shop he use to work at and they told me he moved to Lous. I went straight there for a haircut. Id follow this guy to any shop. Ken gives a haircut at an incredible price that looks and feels top dollar. Best barber in Jax!

The place isnt dirty. The staff are always friendly to their customers. That guy must have a grudge against the place. Those ladies work hard for their money, and have lots of regular customers. I go their periodically for a trim and for styling of my hairpieces.

So my fiance just went and got his hair done here. Im not sure who did it but I swear his head is messed up. Its uneven, the sides were done improperly and the top just looks a mess. Now he has to go get it fixed somewhere else. Wether the haircut was 10 or 100. She messed this mans hair up. I dont recommend this place. This guys head looks ridiculous

Ive been going to Lous for years, Tessa is absolutely the best, always a great cut! They usually open at 9 during the week but have no problem getting me in sooner before work when I call ahead and make an appointment.

My husband, son and I have been coming here for years and we are always happy with the results. Tessa always does a great job for me and my husband! I brought my mother last month and now she wants to become a regular, even though she lives 15 miles away.

Just moved into the area and was in the shopping center where this shop is located. Plenty of parking. Its next to a Walmart supermarket. Walked in just after 5 on a weekday. It has maybe 10 chairs and there were two women cutting older gentlemens hair. They greeted me and said I was next. No one else but me there. Had maybe a ten minute wait. The place was nice and clean. The decor may be a little dated, but so am I. Linda cut my hair and did a very nice job and was pretty fast. $14 for the cut. Im happy and will be back

The lady that cut my hair didnt know what a hard part was. And when I tald her how to do it she completly disregarded what I said. The floor wasnt clean. I saw multiple bugs. Just over all not a good experience and a poor cut.

I paid 14 dollars for a hair cut and it wasnt even good, it took maybe 5 min for her to cut my hair didint even line it up. I had to go home and fix my hair.
