A handy fyi i learned today, management has a “rule” (not posted anywhere, nor informed verbally when leaving) that if you are waiting and leave for any reason and come back in they will put you at the end of the waiting line. And then they will stop what they are doing and tell you all about their rule and cause an awkward scene in front of the entire place. (The customer was a 7 y/o boy and his mother)

The bald guy with the beard did not want to cut my son hair. I do not know if he had a bad day but the pictures are misleading. He was gumpy and unprofessional about it. Two stars because the other people seems happy with the other barbers.

Take the open chair! It doesnt matter who you choose, they all do a bang up job. I have had my head and face straight razors by all the staff. Consistently fantastic! You can choose a favorite, bit they are all my favorite!

Clip Joint was great. Great atmosphere and great haircut. It’s a walk-in only, which worked out great for me seeing that I was from out of town. Keith did an excellent job on cleaning me up and getting me ready a day before my wedding. If I have to I’ll make the 5 hour drive back up to get it done again lol.

Great traditional barbershop in St Johns commons shopping center. Flew in from California. “who has shut down everything”. I needed a nice short hair cut and beard trim. Its old school. The towels were fantastic. Both Frankie and Keith were easy to talk to, and real professional.Clean up shave was a straight razor, no nicks, no irritation. Cut was precision. My son in law got ahead shave smooth and clean. Wish they were near my hometown.

Always feel welcome at Clip Joint, as all the guys are friendly. A gentleman named Israel cut my hair today for the first time and did an excellent job. Have had hair cut by every barber and they all have done a great job. Fun to sit and listen to the banter between the barbers and customers.

As a female, stepping into a predominantly male business can be a bit intimidating at times however as soon as I walked through the door at Clip Joint I was greeted with a smile and felt welcomed. I don’t have a regular stylist & had not had my pixie cut since February & the start of quarantining. Desperate to feel normal again and unsure where to go, the neighborhood Barbershop was my pick. While I can’t recall the name of the gentleman that fantastically fixed my pixie he was just that....a gentleman! And from what I saw, everyone working at this establishment was talented, professional, & courteous. Many thanks & I will absolutely be going back!

Updated review: I returned at the end of the quarantine when I very much needed a cut, and Im glad I gave them a second chance. Very fast, friendly and quality cut for a good price. Will be back again!Was recommend this place from a group on Facebook so I decided to give it a try. They have a very clean shop and they do some amazing cuts. I love that they have American flags and police/fire/EMS badges to support first responders so I really want to support them as well. I love the haircut actually, however my neck and two parts of my head were cut and bled a bit, which is disappointing

Doesnt require masks and the barbers are respectful and my kids like their hair afterwards

Horrible haircut. The big bald guy was rude and did the worst cut to my hair. You are going to be paying 20 to 30 dollars for a haircut like mine! He didn’t even put Gel in my hair or show me my hair from all angles. I could not see what kind of cut I got until I got home and my friend had to show me how bad of a cut it is.

Great haircuts for my two boys. They took their time and were great with the kids. He paid attention to hair growth patterns after I expressed concerns. He showed me how to better comb his hair to work with his hair. Will definitely be back!

Nice shop, the guys working were fun and friendly but the barber doing my cut walked out for a phone call before he finished. We all have personal lives we have to take care of so Im not upset about it by any means but I did not get the cut I asked for. Another barber finished my cut and I was in a rush to get out so I said its ok. Ill go back for sure with my son but Ill make sure Im very specific about what I want. Hopefully when I go back I can give a 5 star review. I would like this cool barber shop to be my familys regular place rather than great clips or something similar.

My husband and I took our two sons to this Barber Shop because we wanted to step up their look and get “real haircuts” with a fun new style. The guys cutting their hair were amazing! They were both so great with my boys AND did fantastic jobs on their new hairstyles. We will be repeat customers for life.

Outstanding barbers. Frankie and Keith are the absolute best at fades and with a straight razor. They also do beards. I used to have a large beard and Keith made it go from hobo looking to intentionally large but well groomed. And for the price, why would you go anywhere else

Great guys. I took my son there for a haircut. He is not the nicest to sit still for a hair cut the barber Eric jokes around with him to make him comfortable. His cut came out great we have found a new shop and it’s close to home.

Went to the kids hair place next door, but they were closed, so we piped in here and the guys were awesome! He did a great job with my little boy!

Found these guys a few years ago, and have been going back to them ever since. Used to waste time, money and headaches at that sports place. Learned my lesson there. Keith usually does my cut, and even if its been a while since, he always remembers what I like. Frankie has cut mine too of course, they both are awesome. Im extremely picky about clipper cuts, these guys are perfectionists and never disappoint. Go see the guys if you havent tried em!

Clip Joint is by far one of my go to Barber Shops. In the Greater Jacksonville Area. Ive had a cut by everyone that works there. Nothing but the Best every time. Today Eric took care of me, as I was unhappy with a cut I got on the road in Atlanta. He tightend me up quickly, and executed every little detail I was worried about with my current hairstyle. In 10-12mins max. I strongly recommend this establishment. Any one of the barbers can give you what your looking for! I also take my kids in from time to time. No Issues! Great cut and fair prices

My cowlick got butchered and the razor they used, to shave the hair on the nape of my neck, caused me to break out (not proper sharp?), Which leads me to rate them as okay . They seem to all be friends there and can be combative with one another, which made for some entertaining moments during my time there.

I have gotten so many hair cuts from these guys and they always turn out great. Everyone is so friendly too!!!

They messed up on my friends hair, it leans to the right and the sides arent even symmetrical. At furst look you can tell its messed up. Wish they put more effort into making his haircut look nice.

The guys in there are nice dudes but after 3 different haircuts from 3 different guys & all 3 attempts, I left each time with multiple parts of my head not even being cut. I guess its a thing there. They cut 3/4 of your head. Kinda wack

My son has been coming here since he was 5, and hes now 8. He loves it, they do a remarkable job each and every time. He has even fallen asleep in their chair twice. Haha! The barbers are all very nice!

Bad experience. Not only did I get a poor haircut and have my hard part totally off line and down the side of my head, when I returned the barber disagreed with me and decided to start and argument rather than try and right the situation. Definitely not going back.

Go see frankie, I got my hair cut messed up so many times before I found him. I have waited we hours just for him to cut my hair. If you go durning a week day you will usually be okay, if frankie is not in go ask for keith. It is a real barber shop, awesome conversations and great atmosphere. 10 out of 10 Id recommend. You will never have a bad haircut and frankie can work with messed up heads like funny shapes and any cow licks.
