Keith and J are the best barbers Ive ever had. I got my first haircut from them back in 1995, and throughout the years kept coming back whenever I was stationed in North Carolina during my 20 year Marine Corps career. They are professional, and really treat their clients like family. This is the kind of joint you can come to no matter where you are from and enjoy a little smack talk about sports while you have a cathartic experience getting your beard trimmed and having someone give you a proper haircut where you walk out feeling like a brand new man! Im talking the whole nine yards: they listen to you when you tell them what youre there for, they execute with equipment that is well-oiled and clean, and they finish it off with a smooth neck shave that includes hot towels and a straight-edge. I absolutely love this place, and I have always been very picky about who cuts my hair. i highly recommend this establishment. Side note: dont be a clown and show up here with your three sons on a Sunday afternoon. I highly doubt they have a Monday morning uniform inspection like all the Marines do, so, perhaps come on down on a different day. All youll be doing is adding to a long wait that particular day, since that is when most Leathernecks come for their WEEKLY haircut. I am retired now so I come during the week or on Saturday, and Im in and out of there!

This was definitely the worst haircut Ive gotten all my life. The guy who cut my hair didnt listen to anything I said about my hair and just cut the whole head the same length way shorter than I ever cut it. Now I have to wait weeks before I dont look like a complete idiot unless I go somewhere else to get my hair cut again. The barbers are just there to get you in and out as fast as they can. He finished my whole haircut in 2 minutes because he put no time into what he was doing. The vibe was off about the place too. The barbers didnt seem to care about me or care about customer service because all they wanted to do was talk to each other and laugh so loud in my ear I went deaf. Also they only take cash and they clearly arent recording their wages.
