I recently moved to Jacksonville and finding a barber was definitely on the priority list. I passed Cox Barber shop on my way to work every day. I ended up stopping in and it was the best decision. No random people hanging around and all the extra that comes with some barber shops. The guys are friendly and inviting. Shout out to Marcus who is my barber. He gets me right every time.

Ive been going to Mr. Cox all my life. He and his team are awesome barbers, best prices and service in town. Mr. Cox is an old school man, so unruly children and disrespectful behavior is not tolerated in his shop. Very traditional, Black, and Christian atmosphere that I love. He also offers discounts for kids who make Honor Roll in school.

It was the first time I went to this barbershop, and with out a doubt Ill be going back. All the barbers in there were really nice and welcoming. I got my hair cut by Ike. I have straight hair (Im white) and he did a great job. All in all it was a great experience, I highly recommend the shop to anyone. They are open Monday thru Friday 7 am to 6 p.m.
