Called my insurance company last night to get my vehicle towed. Got a call back sayingg it waspicked up. Went to the repair place to talk to them at 7am no vehicle there called my insurance company back they didnt get a hold of them till 8am. At 830 my vehicle come to find out never got picked up and they are en route now. I hope..

After an accident on Sunday August 7th, our insurance provider issued Higher Power Towing as the vendor to tow our vehicle. Our vehicle sat for hours before anyone showed up. Approximately 5 hours after the accident I contacted our insurance provider to inquire about the towing service we had requested. We were given the phone number to Higher Power Towing to check on the status of our tow service. Our first two calls went to an automated message that stated that their voicemail was full.It was about 30 minutes later I attempted to call the number given after confirming the phone number online. When I finally got an answer on the phone the employee for Higher Power Towing was very rude and belligerent. The employee stated that he had been there for some time and was going to impound our vehicle if we didnt show up immediately with the keys or pay him!There was no correspondence from Higher Power Towing prior to them arriving at our vehicle to let us know they were on their way or even when the had showed up to where the vehicle was parked.

We were traveling from NY to FL and broke down 120 miles from our destination. AAA had us sitting on the side of the road for over 12 hrs. When we finally got a driver the gentleman I spoke with was amazing. I wish AAA had gotten a hold of them the night before. The driver was awesome and I cant praise them enough for their help.

Only company in Jacksonville willing to do a long distance(140 miles) tow thru AAA. Great job!

A few months ago when my husband’s truck wasn’t starting, we called AAA and they sent Higher Power out to tow it. Not only did they scratch up our driveway with their truck, they somehow completely lost my husbands car keys from the time they left our house to when they got to the mechanic shop. The driver called immediately when he realized they were gone and let us know. He said that we should be able to get reimbursed for a new key since it was his fault. However, after spending $207 on a new truck key, it took months to get a hold of anyone and when we finally did they reluctantly brought us a check for $150… After we told them the total amount and sent them the receipt multiple times. We called back letting them know that the amount was incorrect and they kept saying that they would have another check sent out to us for the remainder. It has been well over 6 months and we’ve seen nothing and heard nothing back from phone calls. Terrible customer service, completely unprofessional.

Higher Power towed my car home on Easter Sunday when no other company would. A Higher Power was certainly looking over us! Thank you!!

I called AAA to have them dispatch a tow service at 7:30pm last night. They said the driver will be out there around 9:20pm. No one call to update. I have to call AAA back and they update me it will be 10:05pm. The drive didnt called me until 10:45pm and letting me know that he about 30 mins away. I told him I have to pick up my wife at the hospital at 11pm and wont be home until midnight. He said he going to Atlantic to pickup another job to deliver to Ponte Vedra. After I came back, I called AAA to have the driver come out and when they called the driver, he lied and told them he came but I wasnt there. This company is so dishonest and lying to their partner like AAA so how can you expect them to deliver a reliable service.AAA told me last night to come out and wait to drop off the key for the drive. I got there and wait from 12:25am to 1pm. He still didnt show up. I called AAA again and they asked me to leave the key for the driver. They said the tow company people will tow it in a little bit. This morning its still not at my home. While Im in a meeting, the driver keep calling me to meet him for the key. Apparently the tow company does not communicate with their own team to let them know that I had already left the key. This is the most ridiculous and worst service towing company that I have used. Beware of this company, the trouble you will get is a lot more than your car trouble.

Called road side assistance waited 4 hours tried calling them and they would never answer the phone. The bad thing is they are only one mile from my location

I dont know why AAA Still uses this company. They have no reason to tow cars cause the fact they dont care about your vehicle. Using Big Tow Hooks on any part of the car isnt what your suppose to use. There are Bridles that are made for that. If you get the message there towing you call AAA and tell them you dont want them.

My truck broke down 235 miles from my house. I was just south of the Florida Georgia line. I was told that it could be up to 2 hours. It took the driver just under 90 minutes to arrive. My truck was loaded correctly and we made good time getting it delivered to my house.

They were subbed by Progressive to tow my car. First ETA was 90 mins. Thats understandable... but at 95 mins. I got their voicemail. Finally Progressive got in touch and it would be another 60 mins. Fine, Ill wait. I called them 30 mins later just to make sure they were coming. Yes sir, Ill have the driver call you. Hes been dispatched on your call. Never got called. 45 mins later, contacted Progressive that we need to reschedule until the next morning because the store would let us park there.They claim to be Christian based... doubt it... they have yet to call me to apologize.If you know you cant make it, call the person and have them find another company. Dont leave them stranded for 3 hours.DONT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

The driver left me stranded at 5:00 because he didnt have what he needed on his truck. I did call and complained to a supervisor and he assured me that this is not normal and he would address the issue.

Do Not Hire this company. They were hired by AAA to tow one of my exotic vehicles from Jacksonville to Gainesville. It took 5 hours to get the car with no communication from Higher Point towing.We had to call AAA 4 times to find out the location of the vehicle. We also have no idea where the Key Fob was left.There is No excuse for this Terrible Service!!!!

Waited 2 1/2 hours on them and then they no show for a tow.

I blew a tire at 7pm and was told my tow truck driver would arrive by 9pm then I was told 12am as I am still on the highway stuck then the truck driver called me saying it will be 3am and then never showed up the name of this truck driver started with a W I think it was Wilson or something but I limped my Mercedes to a tire store in the morning and got them replaced after sleeping at a truck stop this company is Horrible and AAA already took them off of there list of companies to use.

Gentlemen promptly took my call and followed instructions sight unseen for a reasonable price. Will definitely use again next time

ONE OF A KIND!!! I had the opportunity to meet the owner of this company, Mr. Bill Beard. I can not express enough how grateful I am to have met this man. We had a few bumps in the road during our process, but let me tell you the way this man goes about life and handling business is higher than Class A. I personally work for a big logistics company and to see the way he is running his business and taking care of the people around him, I wouldnt use any other company. Some times we must go through drowning waters to be set up on a much bigger stage. They took amazing care of my high valued motorcycle.

State Farm uses them and I guess they got a better gig. Left my husband by our minivan for 1 hour and half. I called to verify they were still towing our van, only to find out they cancelled. They told me they didnt have the right equipment . I guess they couldnt figure that out when their services were requested. This is unacceptable.

Will definitely be using them again. Their service was absolutely amazing. Truck was clean and driver was down to earth and went the extra mile to help push the car to a spot. Company that cares right here!

I was assigned Higher Power Towing by my AAA service and I was broke down at 11:47a.m was told i would expect arrival at 12:47. Did not hear from them called AAA and they told AAA they tried calling me which was a lie I had my phone in hand all day and it would be another 45mins that went on all day until 5:30 I went and brought a rope and towed myself 30 miles and cancel service a bad tow company and great lairs

Not good. Pick up scheduled through USAA. The first time they called at 9:45pm at night three times to come pick up the car but I was already asleep. I call USA second day explain that the car is located at my business behind a locked fence so I need to be there during a reasonable hour to let them in. They say they should be able to pick it up that night. Driver calls me at 7 PM and says he should be there soon. At 11 PM still hasn’t come I call him, he says call his dispatch, I call them explain it’s at my business, behind a locked gate, I need to be there he says they will pick it up the third day. They call me at 7:30am and wake me up saying they will be there in five minutes. How hard is it to set an appointment to come and actually show up during a reasonable hour of the day and call 30 minutes before you show up? Apparently really hard because in all three instances they were unable to do these things.

I had the BEST customer service with this company. I highly recommend. They were so kind to me, I’ll never forget. Thank you.

Our families rental car got a flat tire in Florida- we were headed home to MN. Higher power towing was dispatched by Alamo and Aaa to pick up the bad car and drop a new 1. Alamo COMPLETELY dropped the ball (to put it lightly) kept saying our car would be there in 40 mins, 15 mins- this went on for 4.5 hrs. Our tow guy Jesse was amazing. He literally waited at the pick up location of the new vehicle for 2 hrs, finally blocking the gate with his truck to help get us this car- nobody would talk to him for about 2 hrs. All the while we were stranded in a sketchy area. If it wasnt for Jesse we probably would not have gotten this car at all!! Alamo was a joke- Jesse was an Angel to us. Thank you so much again Jesse♡♡

We broke oiur caravan trailer and he was the only company that had a roll up so they could lift it and brought us to his home to help us repair it himself. Junior is a very nice guy, helfull and all.

If I could give a 0 I would.. AAA gave them the call to come get me around 1:30pm today, they gave AAA the run around with 45mins then 30 mins and had the nerve to say driver was 2.5 miles away. After many calls to aaa driver then called 6hrs later to get lost cause he doesnt know the roads of northside jax/oceanway area. And after driver had attitude cause I asked why he was hooking j-hooks on my suspension parts and didnt have the right bridle to safety load my truck. I told him to leave he also got mad when I was taking pictures of area and truck. So I would say STAY away from this company.

We were stuck on the interstate in Jax with a bad hose. Steam everywhere. AAA sent us one tow truck that couldnt bring us back home to Ocala because it didnt have enough seats for the three of us. They took us as far as the nearest exit, and there Junior from Higher Power Towing intercepted and picked us all up with the vehicle. Within a few seconds he has the car attached and brought us all the way from Jacksonville back to Ocala. He dropped us off at our house before taking the car and dropping it off at the mechanics. What could have been a miserable event turned out fine. We were impressed with this mans pleasant attitude, good stories, and overall nice manners. We were blessed to have him as our rescuer.

Last night Higher Power towed my friends German made Volkswagen EOS from a field out in the middle of nowhere near Pierson,Florida to a locksmith in Jacksonville Florida.Her predicament was unique as she was both locked out of her car AND she didnt have an extra key.After she wasted nearly 2 days calling around on the phone being misguided, and strung along by several OTHER towing companies she was eventually referred to John at Higher Power Towing.Basically it boiled down to the other companies didnt have the tools, skills nor did they even seem interested in even trying to help my friend.It got to the point where my friend and I were sitting in my car, next to her car on the side of the road, in a very rural area with no street lights at 9pm-- nearly 2 hours from home! We were both in near tears of from the hours of frustration we had undergone.John, however, (who I believe is the actual owner of higher power) was proactive and positive -- he basically saved us!When other companies seemed doubtful of being able to help us warning us of the great possibility of damaging her car while loading it on the tow truck with it being locked -- John did the opposite! John was confident and transparent. He said point blank, dont worry about what you were told, I can tow that car without damaging it! John even told us to leave the car and go home !! While the other tow companies told us we HAD to be there (even though it was not a safe place for us to be even cell phone signal was lacking)John sent a tow truck all the way from Jacksonville florida.He even sent a link where we could track his drivers whereabouts.While we slept in the comforts of our beds back in Jax he did all the work for us !We woke up to a text message Your car has been safely deliveredWhy is everyone not running their towing business like this? This is the type of service people need!Great job to John and his driver!!and thank you to his wife and family for allowing him to help us during evening hours!!

Waited 3hrs and they still have not showed up. Every time I called for a ETA dispatcher added 30min.

Im replying to the lady that saidthey used google maps to deliver my car what else are they supposed to use??😂 and one more thing make sure with your insurance company the adress is right! And you wouldnt have this misshappen!!

Horrible towing company contracted by AAA. Left us waiting for hours. No phone number online to reach out for updated arrival time. No winning with this company that we were forced to use.Update- 3 and 1/2 hours later, got in touch with the driver and he didn’t even know what road we were on. Seriously?

I requested a tow through my insurance company (USAA). This is the company that was assigned to do the tow. Waited over an hour then received a call from my insurance that the company had cancelled. So unprofessional!! I would not recommend this company EVER!!

Had a tow set up through Progressive Motorcycle and they weren’t equipped to haul it. They never cancelled in the Progressive system so I had to wait around for over 90 minutes before I found out by calling them. Had to rebook through another company and wait another hour.

They used google maps to drop my car off to be repaired. Google maps took them to the wrong place. Where they left my car. Then they blame google maps for there mistake. WOW BAD BUSINESS
