Matt was very professional and honest the dealership tried to rob me blind but after Matt and his team of certified mechanics took a look at my car he bought to my attention that what the dealership told me was just a LIE to get my money... I highly recommend this company for all your auto needs... Very professional, courteous and honest... I had a flat tire on the way to work this morning, AAA put a donut tire on my Jeep which allowed me to reach work. I reached out to these wonderful business men (Steve and Matt if memory serves me correctly) about dropping my tire off during my lunch break and then coming back after work to have the original repaired (patched) tire put back on my Jeep, though they were super busy, they were so very nice and understanding about my reservations regarding driving on the donut, and they were thankfully able to squeeze me in and get me back safely on the road. I am beyond thankful and truly impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of all the staff. I highly recommend to all, and I will personally be back for any future needs!
I was traveling from PA to FL when I suddenly had an issue with my brakes.After making several calls to local shops, Tubel’s Tire & Service was the only one that would help me out on a Friday afternoon at 4:30PM.Upon my arrival, Steve had his tech evaluate the issue, ordered the parts and made the necessary repairs to get me back on the road as quickly as possible. They even stayed past closing time to finish the job. That shows dedication and true concern for their customers.Because they were honest, affordable and provided me with exceptional service from start to finish, I only missed a couple of hours of vacation versus a couple of days.I highly recommend!

Ive been going to tubel tire for 10 years. I havent ever had a bad experience. Theyre always straight forward what I need. Not always what I want to hear but when is it ever at a mechanic shop. Even after moving 45min further away I still make the drive for that reason. Matt and Steve in the office are very professional and respectful.
We brought this car in for a repair, for future sale. Not only did Steve help affirm the value of the car, he made suggestions on the appropriate repairs, what a buyer needs to know and what to expect from the car at this age/stage. Steve went above and beyond and gave us personalized assistance by calling us at home to let us know that a prospective buyer had called to check in on it (he broke down the realities to the buyer for us). I took my car there so the ac could be recharged. Before I drop my car off my ac was blowing cold through all the vents when Im driving when I come to a stop it blows cool. I paid 160 so that the can vacuum my ac system and refill back up with freon. I couldnt do the job my self cuz my recovery machine at work broke so I took it to them thinking they would be trusted to dnow my car dont even blows cold on either side so I was robed of money and time cuz now I have to fix the problemo the work.but instead when I pick my car up they tell me it only blows cold on one sidand the other side blows hot it was not like that when I drop it off. Thank God Im a technician that I can fix on my own I only lost $160 but that is how they get you to spend more money if you dont know any better.
Absolutely professional service with courteous staff. Matt the manager was so helpful and allowed us to stay in our motorhome on the site while he located a replacement tire for our Winnebago. He then had it brought to us and a tech named Andrew repaired our rig so we could continue our trip. Both were delightful to deal with. Work was performed quick and with no issues at all. After being stuck on Interstate 95 in rush hour traffic, it was so great to find this repair shop and to be treated the way we were. Thanks.
1st I will say,, we have been a Tubels customer for a very long time, at least 15 years on and off, and this is the 1st negative incident weve ever had.6/16/20, we took our truck in for 4 new tires, alignment, and full synthetic oil change. The next day, we noticed a new oil sticker was not placed on the inside windshield and the oil change indicator was not reset. We were concerned that the oil change was not completed. We called Tubels to relay the same. Tubels assured us the oil change was completed in their system and they simply neglected to put a new sticker on the windshield and reset the oil indicator. We believed them. Fast forward 3 months to Saturday 10/10/20. Out of the blue, my husband decided to go under the hood. He immediately noticed the top for the engine oil compartment was not on. The engine oil compartment was open. He immediately called Tubels to relay this information. Tubels still believed that they completed the oil change back in June. Howeve, Tubels suggested he purchase an engine oil cap from a local auto parts store, close the engine oil compartment, and bring the truck in on Monday for them to check everything out. My husband did as advised. We arrived at Tubels Monday 10/12/20. Tubels checked and sure enough they never completed the oil change. Additionally, they did not put the engine oil cap back in place. They figured out that they did not complete the oil change because the oil filter had not been changed. It was still the truck manufacturer oil filter from our last oil change at the dealership. Tubels went ahead and did an oil change and 1st requested we pay for it. I told them we would not be paying because we already paid them for the oil change that they never completed. They agreed not to charge us for the oil change and then gave us a $20 credit on our account for the engine oil cap my husband had to purchase. By the way they actually found the factory engine oil cap sitting on the back side of the engine. It is amazing that we had not lost it while traveling.However I feel they should have offered us a free oil change on our account instead of just a $20 credit to reimburse us for the oil cap. They should have never asked us to pay for the oil change at all. I pray there is no resulting damage from the oil compartment being open for the last 4 months.
Tubels Goodyear at Phillips highway is fantastic. They have amazing customer service and make sure you get the best deal. They will make sure you are taken care of. I dont take my car anywhere else.
The only place Ill take my cars. Ive been going to Tubels for years and dont trust anyone else. Every time Ive been, if Im waiting on a service, the wait time has been reasonable, and the staff has been completely courteous. If Im dropping my car for service, the staff has worked with me to help coordinate a seamless process. Thanks to my father, I know a little about cars, and I have never once felt as if I were being slighted or taken advantage of at Tubels. These guys know what theyre doing, do quality work, are friendly, convenient, and provide exactly the service youd hope for from an auto service center.
I stopped at this Goodyear overwhelmed with a nail in my tire. I could not answer any questions correctly. Matt told me how I can get the other Goodyear to email me my paperwork in 2 seconds. My tire is now fixed!! I like to thank Matt Jones and his team for the fast respectable service with a smile!!
Ive been going to these guys for years for oil changes and the things that break down along the way. Theyre always friendly with a family feel of that mechanic dad looking out for you. They are also trustworthy and most importantly, never lied to me. Ive been jaded by other companies and a dealership in the past, but Im glad I found them along the way.

The most amazing customer service I have experienced at a car service place. I have a CarMax service package, and they were on the list as one of the places I could take it to get my check engine light looked at. The folks there did all the legwork to connect me to a local Honda dealership to have the issue fixed because it was still under manufacturer warranty. They gave me all of the phone numbers and even called ahead to Honda to get things initiated for me. I will definitely be back for future service needs.
I was told by Toyota dealership that I needed brakes. Took it here today and I still have 90% pads. Matt took good care of me and didnt take advantage of me. It is so nice that he didnt. Being recently widowed I dont know about these things. I will be taking my truck here for anything I need.
I dont know how they do it.Every time I go to Tubels they beat the prices everywhere in town. I called in with my tire size at 10 AM, they ordered the tires and had them by 2, and I came in at 4:30 I was out by 5:20. I got four new tires and my ride feels so much better.They are also extremely professional, they explained what I needed and got it to me quickly and without hassle.Highly recommend coming here, I will be getting my next set of tires at Tubels.

They have always been great and actually do what they say they will do and fix what you ask them to fix. Seems like this is what all shops should do but unfortunately they don’t. Friendly and consistent staff. Knowledgeable about the cars and admit what they don’t know and have good recommendations for where to go. I certainly appreciate them!

Our air conditioning went out on the way to Jacksonville, and we were faced with an extremely uncomfortable drive home. Steve and the guys were super helpful, fast, and thorough. They communicated to us through the process about expected time frames and cost. Our car was fixed in less than a day, and they even adjusted the loose knob on my stick shift without being asked and without charge. Thank you so much!

I had a check engine light issue and had I gone to Toyota it would have cost at least $1000. The techs at this location determined my AC drain was clogged and was soaking the sensors instead of draining outside the car. What a relief! I highly recommend this location!

I had an grade A experience. Customer service was on point. I received exceptional service from both Matt and Steve. They were very honest about my quote and got my work done in a timely manner. I had a transmission fluid leak that was really bad and had taken my Jeep to 2 shops prior and received outrageous quotes. As a woman I struggle with trusting mechanics and auto shops but these gentlemen kept me informed every step of the way. My quote was 800 less than what I was told at other shops and the work was done in less than 24 hours and my Jeep is running great. I will always use this shop for my auto needs going forward.
There may be a few negative reviews but this is the only place I trust with my vehicles. These guys are honest and always do good work. They have never been anything but excellent. I’m local and I recommend this place to everyone I know. It’s so hard to find a good mechanic that you can trust but believe me, the guys are the best in the city. I have been there more times than I can count with multiple different vehicles and never been disappointed. I can even send my wife there alone and not have to worry about her getting ripped off! If you need a good mechanic, you are wasting your time going anywhere else.
The Technician is only guessing what the problem is. $250.00 dollars later. I dont recommend those guys at all.

Had some work done a little bit ago, one of the parts failed and was probably out of a warranty, but Tubels went above and beyond standard automotive repair. They warrantied the part and took really good care of me!! Any further automotive repairs will be taken to Matt and his team.
No matter what the problem is with my car, I know I can take it to Tubels Goodyear Southside and it will be solved. The Manager is always certain that things are done right and he always has an extremely pleasant attitude. All of the employees are pleasant and dedicated to their work. To an 86 year old widow...all of these things are extremely important. I know when my car is finished that it has been checked completely and any problem has been corrected. I drive in from Orange Park, Florida because I do not trust anyone but Tubels.
Excellent service. Professional staff. Manager is always friendly and you feel that he wants to fix your problem to your satisfaction. As a woman Ive always felt that they listen to me and not once did they talk down to me. Plus if something doesnt need to be done on your vehicle, they will tell you and not try to up sale you on needless repairs or products. They are my first choice for vehicle service.
Simply took my car in for a timing belt or serpentine belt change. They could not even put on the belt straight so it popped off while my girlfriend was driving! The management sucks, they DO NOT check the status following the so called “work” they do on your vehicle.
I have had all 3 of my cars serviced here and can honestly say they do an outstanding job. One time, I had a small issue and complained about it. Hey Matt, took my truck to another mechanic after being at your place today. You fixed one issue with torsion bar crossmember. You diagnosed another problem on left front as upper ball joint that was just installed 3 months ago.You were going to charge me 400.00 to do a ball joint.The diagnosis from the other guy was a 2.00 nut missing from top of shock. He charged 20.00 plus nut.I guess you cant win em all.I am in service business also .Dont give someone diagnosis that can be debunked . No problem withBall joints. Shame on you.

Never again. They were convenient, but after missing a diagnostic read of a blown fan control switch (a $40.00 part), it cost me over $1500. to replace a motor.
2 hours later and I finally get my car for a basic oil change.
Brought my car in to Tubels to have the spark plugs changed and two ignition coil packs replaced. My car was previously diagnosed two days prior to bringing it in to Tubels which I had explained before leaving my car with mechanic. Thats how I knew what was wrong with the car. On the center console was the diagnostic print out for their review. I understand that Tubels need to confirm the diagnostic for themselves but I didnt know that I would be charged for an hour worth of labor just for the diagnostic even after I had completed the repair at their shop. I have been to several garages across the country and even the Mercedes dealership waives the diagnostic fee if you complete the work there. For a 2010 Honda Pilot the total cost for replacing the spark plugs and two ignition coils (which cost at most $40 each) ended up costing me over $468.81, which included the $99 diagnostic fee. From now on I will be taking my business somewhere else.

I was driving from New England to JAX when I discovered car trouble in Kingsland, GA. Since I have upgraded AAA, they brought me to all the way to JAX and I chose Tubels since they are a AAA-approved garage. Being a woman traveling alone with very little knowledge of cars, I need to be able to trust the garage I use, so I always look for a AAA-approved one when I need one on the road. Tubels and the people there were wonderful. They took me back to my hotel, picked me up when the car was done, gave me tips about where to go and what to do in JAX. The price of the work was fair and not gouged (one of the promises when youre a AAA-approved business) and the work was guaranteed. Obviously, my first choice would have been to not have the car trouble and not need them. But since I did, they were a God-send. I go to JAX once a year for a National meeting and if I ever need work again, I will definitely use them.

Replaced my tire here in two days my brand new tire is flat while pumping air I noticed valve stem was not replaced but was charge for new valve stem on my bill went back and they fixed but never got an apology from them
