Greetings, I am writing this review because I paid well over $2000.00, close to $3000.00, for repair work on our truck transmission and the transmission wasn’t even repaired right. I had to travel multiple times between three states. We kept returning the truck saying it is still not running right. The mechanic working there NOT professional and he knew it had a leak, we told him. A leak that could’ve been repaired for a few hundred dollars. This place is a Rip Off! The truck has been sitting up since we had received it back. SMH! I seen the reviews on Mr. Transmission corporate site, and just about ALL OF THEM ARE REPORTING BAD SERVICE repairs AND A Rip off. I did not want to give them any stars!! Anyway. It doesn’t matter what you repaired. The amount of money we paid for the CASE REPAIR as you say, that truck should be running, PERIOD. We told you it had a LEAK.
The fix my car. They did a excellent job. It took a while, but it was worth waiting. No regrets.
(Quick back ground I have been a mechanic for over 30 years and am very confident in my abilities and trouble shoot skills) I was traveling though the area when my truck started giving me issues. Jay/Bobby at Mr. Transmission were able to trouble shoot the issue with my transmission. They fixed it that day. When I returned home I had an additional issue arise and had my truck repaired at one of their sister/warranty shop in my area. They covered it completely under the warranty with no issues. As most people I have always questioned transmission shops and just how honest they were. I feel completely confident they treated me right and did not try to take advantage of me any way. I also feel that after I have worked with both shops in 2 different locations that they are honest and trustworthy. I will use the Mr. Transmission in my local area for my transmission work from here on out. Highly recommend them as a company.

They wanted to charge the customer extra money for service you didnt ask for. I contact them to change my transmission fluid in my newer model car and they refuse because they wanted to do a diagnostic first. There wasnt nothing wrong with my car. No leaks or anything. I just wanted to follow the service plan. I decided to take my car somewhere else. I didnt have a chance to rate their service. Be careful of extra charges not necessary.
I was very happy with the service offered to pickup and diagnostic free offered first and the repair price quote was a reasonable amount of difference in comparison to the others I called and quality of work has been superb thus far
I would recommend these people to anyone. They really do a good job and yes they do stand behind their work. I know I worried Jay by calling him but he always talk nice to me every time. Thank You All Mr. Transmission 👍👍

I am glad that I decided to check with this company for my transmission repair needs. They were incredibly professional throughout my entire experience with them. Bob was helpful in getting my car to their shop, and was upfront and detailed about their pricing. Not only was the transmission work cheaper here, I also felt that they were much better equipped to handle the job. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for these types of service.
Well, they did have arrangements to tow my vehicle in, and even had a bank to finance my repair 100%. But, i was told would be 3 days to get to van to diagnose a d that no, it wouldnt take 2 weeks to repair. Once its on lift to diagnose, they can get new one in same day. So I thought id have my van back in 4 or 5 days. But each time i called after 3rd day, i was told not yet, you dont have to call us...we can call you when its done. Well, i went 2 weeks without my van before i got it back. Not to mention that i was surprised to fing they dont get rebuilt one to put in, they just rebuild the one you have. Not sure which is better, but they say the delay was in getting the parts to rebuild mine. It runs, but just doesnt have the same quick response and power it had when bouhht the van before the transmission and torque converter went out.
Passing through Jackson Mississippi on my way to Tulsa Oklahoma my transmission went out. These guys had me on my way in one day. Completely unbelievable and the price was way under everybody nation wide. My only complaint is they arent in Tulsa. Again thank you guys so much.
Top quality service!! When we checked around with local shops for prices to decide where I my car needed to go to be repaired, Mr Transmission was the only one that gave me a detailed breakdown of the costs it was going to cost me each step of the way, and then had payment options available to help me get my car repaired as quickly as possible. Mr. Bob is awesome to work with, and I have to say that hes truly an asset to Mr Transmission! His patience with my persistence as well as my many many questions I asked wanting to be certain I clearly understood everything throughout the entire process, his remarkable patience didnt go unnoticed whatsoever. Their parking lot was completely packed with cars yet they took the time to look at our vehicle. They had us set up with a tow company too. Cant say enough about the amazing customer service! My parents have had numerous transmissions rebuilt and replaced through this business, so they came highly recommended. I brought two vehicles to this business on the same day to be evaluated. Vehicle #1 was tested immediately, and needed work. Once Bob, the manager, sensed that I wanted to shop around to avoid paying over $3,000 for those repairs, his level of customer service drastically declined. Among many rude comments, he didnt want to give me much information regarding my vehicle saying, Just let us fix it. Bob then sought to keep vehicle #2 for two extra weeks, lacking an evaluation; I guess it wasnt of importance to him. As it pertains to vehicle #2, I still dont know what is EXACTLY wrong as Bob stated, we will need $350 to proceed with electrical testing to see what is wrong with it. After dealing with this company for nearly a month, I got fed up and decided to retrieve my vehicle from them. Upon retrieval, Bob says Well, you wont get it today. Im not moving all of the cars in front of it. I called the next day to retrieve my vehicle and he rudely answers, states that its outside, and hangs up in my face.A few things are worth revamping as it pertains to customer service and Mr. Transmission: 1.) Most customers dont mind paying a fee for testing, however, Mr Transmission offers it free. If they feel like theyre wasting time and/or money on free testing, CHARGE A FEE! Its rude and unprofessional to mistreat customers because they wish to shop around for better prices. I wouldnt have minded paying a fee for testing, and customers shouldnt be mistreated if and when they decide not to go further with my services there.2.) A smile and some compassion goes a long way in the customer service world. When dealing with something as expensive as transmission repairs, people dont want to hear bad news as cut and dry as Bob delivers it. Have compassion. Give customers options. Be direct in what is exactly wrong with the vehicle and dont try to get your money elsewhere.Horrible experience.....

Recently I had to have my Transmission replaced in one of my vehicles. Mr pond and his team at Mr Transmission made what could have been a stressful situation very easy and uncomplicated. They handled the entire process from arranging for towing of my vehicle to explaining how and what they would need to do to have my vehicle back on the road in the shortest time possible. Mr Pond and the professional team at Mr Transmission provided me with an exceptional encounter and I have since referred them to many of my friends and neighbors. GREAT JOB.!!!!
I was not impressed by this shop to say the least. I took my truck to Mr. Transmission for MAINTENANCE on the transmission if needed. I only did this because I tow a large trailer every day and wanted to ensure the transmissions longevity. After taking 3 days to get back to me, they told me that the transmission needed to come out and they needed to install a new one for $3,500. Keep in mind; the truck shifted flawlessly and I was asking for maintenance. Shortly after, I took my truck (that only has 113,000 miles on it) to another shop. This highly trustworthy shop told me that my truck was in fantastic shape and the drivetrain easily has another 100,000 miles of life in it. The truck is driving and towing like a tank!
Although my car isnt worth the amount it woilf cost to fix those guys did all they could to help..Thanks!

Absolutely 100% satisfied with my experience with Mr. Transmission. I noticed my transmission felt like it was slipping. I called Mr. Pond, shared with him what was going on, and he took it from there. They diagnosed the issue, fixed the problem and had me on the road again in just a couple days. Not only are Mr. Pond and his team extremely knowledgeable, they treated me with respect and kindness. If you are having transmission issues, do yourself a favor and call Mr. Transmission!!!

I did not have any work done by Mr. Transmission, but I was very pleased with their customer service and their professionalism. I called them about having the transmission fluid changed in my van, to which they said that it was unnecessary and then described in detail how they came to that conclusion. They could have taken my money and changed the fluid, and I wouldnt have known any better. I got the feeling these guys are honest and competent, and will get my business in the future if I have any transmission issues.
We had a car that had to have a transmission rebuilt. The work was done quickly and the owner is very friendly and knowledgeable! He has been in this career for a long time and you can tell. The day after pick up, one of the hoses failed and we were stuck on the side of the road in Jackson. Not only did Jay call us a tow truck, he proceeded to drive to our location and take us to the shop while the car was towed to it. The issue was fixed quickly and we were back on the road. Great business with great business ethics.

From out of town with a daughter at a local college. Thought we had transmission issues. They did a full check and said nothing found. Appreciate the honesty and the ability to troubleshoot and not take advantage. I can understand why this shop has the reputation it does. Why go anywhere else?

I was not pleased with the service I got I guess they pick a day to be truthful to their customers. I was told they would come tow my truck and they did for $103 that was on a Saturday and I didn’t hear from them untl 3 days when I called them. I was told they didn’t know what was wrong, but they could sell me one for $1,200 along with label.What kind of transmission business tell you they don’t know what’s wrong, they all have a diagnostic machine.That was a RED flag there, they could’ve told me anything except IDK even me being a woman knows better than that. I drove my truck away from that pl, took it to another transmission pl and they put it on the diagnostic machine and the only thing was wrong is that the knob had been witched into overdrive.Thanks Mr Transmission for nothing don’t ever tell a customer you don’t know what’s wrong why are you in Business?
When our auto transmission broke down in Alabama on the 2nd day of our 11 day, 13 state trip, we thought our vacation was over. But, we had our 1967 GTO hauled 130 miles to Mr. Transmission in Jackson, MS. Although all the service techs were covered up with work, Jay cleared a rack and checked our transmission. It turned out to be a simple fix in the side of the transmission and Jay and Tony had us on the road in 1 hour.Thanks to the expertise and diligence of these men, we were able to achieve our goal of becoming Long Haulers on the Hot Rod Power Tour!BTW, we finished the Power Tour at Norwalk, Ohio, 30 miles from the Canadian border, and drove 3,800 miles in 11 days.We salute Jay, Tony and all the guys at Mr. Transmission for making this happen!
Great service! I thought my car was dying! Mr. Rogers took care of my car for the couple days he had it. This is the first time Ive ever taken my car to a shop and was given my keys back saying there was no problem with no charge! As Mr. Rogers instructed, I will be back if I have a problem.

If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. I went there assuming I was gonna have to get a new transmission. However, Mr. Jay and his crew were able diagnos our problem and fix our transmission. They did so in a very timely manner. I am so glad went to see them. I will recommend them to anyone I hear is having transmission problems.

Rude and Nasty, but not at first. The guy told me it was free of charge for towing, even after I told him I had AAA. He insisted I let them tow my vehicle. They were so nice and respectful until I told them I wasnt going to get the $5000 repairs done to my vehicle. They charged me $75 for a tow that I didnt need, and when I told him he told me it was free his Nice went to NASTY Reallllyyy Quick. I felt bullied, played, and disrespected.
They were very rude. They said that I would get a free tow and assessment, but when I chose to not fix my vehicle since the price was higher than my car’s value, they charged a crazy price for having towed my car less than 2 miles!
I am looking over the reviews and I need Mr. Transmission Help my Transmission is slipping and one person said a Solenoid B shift is stuck and another one said I need a New transmission? I am lost!! A 2008 Ford Fusion Se is my baby and I need it fix!!

Brought in a Honda Odessy, transmisssion was replaced for 2K, but it was about 1 week to complete work. Very professional but transmission failed again in 30 days. Brought back and 3 days latter, vehcile was running. Transmission worked for 100k miles and failed. I had 90 day warrenty. Odessy has record of bad transmissions, but would have liked to see the 2k go toward a better transmission.
