Charged my card without me getting an oil change saving my information not good smh never going there again

Amazing service! Moved to Irving from Virginia, so we had to have all 3 of our vehicles state inspected in order to register them in Texas. I noticed the great rating here compared to other shops and dealerships in the area, so my wife and I decided to take our chances here. Boy am I glad we did! We had all 3 vehicles inspected in a timely manner with no waiting or having to leave and come back at a later time (extremely inconvenient). They were very professional, friendly, and transparent which we deeply appreciated. Weve encountered too many deceptive and greedy mechanics in the past in Virginia who would drag out inspections, lie, and sabotage our vehicles to force us to fail unless we paid for their services to amend the failures, costing hundreds, even thousands of dollars to just pass a vehicle inspection. Thank you Auto Kar for showing us there are still honest, hardworking mechanics out there!! You have my business and I will spread the word. You deserve it!

Dealership cheaper and use a oil that is made for GM vehicles

Took my car here for an oil change. When they drove it into the shop, there was a bang and it turns out my cars exhaust pipe had banged against their ramp and fallen out of the car and was dragging on the ground. The mechanics claimed it was already damaged and said they were no responsible for an already damaged exhaust system.

I have been going here a while (2 years) usually for oil and inspections. They are quick and nice people. They gave me a special deal on brake pads back in January, I paid like 160 or so. I told myself to wait before writing a review, since the cheap brake pad deal could have turned out bad within a month. But since it has been approximately 4 months and they are still braking well, it must mean they didnt give me bad ones lol.Id also like to include that around 3 people I know go here ritually, and they actually leave saying good things as well. Which is weird, since Ive never heard anyone say anything good about having their cars worked on. This place seems to influence good verbal reviews from friends. And since I only saw one other review, I figured Id add this.I suggest giving them a try. They are friendly, honest, and hard working people. I dont feel they would ever take advantage of anyone, and never try to push their services on you.

This is the only place I have got my oil changed, other than my driveway, or gotten inspection in over 20 years. No problem yet. It is just a little warm in the waiting room.

I had a very poor experience at this location today. I am giving two stars because ultimately I got what I came for, but I really feel Im being generous with two.I went in today for a state inspection. I was the only customer present. My vehicle is electric and only requires a seven dollar safety inspection of the lights, brakes, horn, and wiper blades. This process should not take an hour.I had to argue with two different people about my inspection because they couldnt believe that the emissions test was unnecessary. They plugged their computer into the OBD port on my car but it does not function the same way on my vehicle. It will not report errors with the combustion engine because there is no combustion engine.The entire time I was in the shop, my car was on, my lights were on, my AC was on, and my window was down. This drained enough off of my battery that I then had to go to a public charger and pay for enough charge to get home.The second man I spoke with, who I believe is a manager (he was retrieved earlier from an upstairs office) ultimately called someone to get official word. He claims he was speaking to someone at DPS but I do not think this was the case. His tones were hushed and his body language looked to me like the way someone acts when talking to a friend, as opposed to the way someone would carry themselves in a business related setting.When he got off the phone, he told me that they just changed the rules very recently and he could skip the emissions test. I argued the semantics and he said they changed the rules this year. I argued again, and he said it was last year. He printed out my paper, we went into the office, and I paid my seven dollars. Then I drove the car out of the garage myself and headed to a local charger.A five minute inspection took an hour plus then I spent another half hour charging to get home. I wont be back.

Always take care of us well. Get us in and out quickly.

Fast and friendly and Ali and his team know what they are doing and dont try to bs if you need something they will tell you straight up, if you want something ask they are fair and reasonable.Been going there 3 years they are always great!

As far as service it was quickBut they over filled my truck with a little over an inch above levelTruck started getting noise right after due to the overfillIf it hadnt been for that, it would be fair priced but not satisfied
