They just train same curriculum to all guys in little dragons irrespective of when you join the class. I made my daughter join class 7 months and they teach same curriculum as the kid who joined a day before, which makes no sense to anyone.

While cancellation they need a 30 days notice, we gave an notice on the 22nd but they said they can’t prorate and take the fees my billing cycle is 15th so we need to pay on the 15th for the entire month so basically I gave them a 50 day notice and not 30 day. A dear frnd whom I referred this place gave a notice for cancellation and so their son did not get the next belt… I mean just because we give a notice we don’t get a belt?? Like Really???? They canceled an entire weeks class and no makeups nothing at all for that tenure???? So by all means we are at the receiving end.

I went to VRTKD for 6 years, and the experience was life changing. Through its values of perseverance, respect, and self-control I have learnt the value of determination and patience. Not only did the activity provide structured workouts, but its welcoming community allowed me to develop a close-knit community of friends. Mrs.Lacy, Mrs.Franklin, Mrs. McPherson, Mr.Pullasari, Mr.Pillimari, Mrs.Pendyala, and Mr.Mirza have all made my experience here memorable. I am truly thankful for this activity and community I love, and would highly recommend sending your children here!- Shreya

Their workouts are very well structured and target many aspects of martial arts and general skills as well. Taekwondo has been an important part of my life because of the amazing program and amazing instructors here. I love it so much and want to train for as long as I can!

The Lacy’s are wonderful instructors with a passion in Taekwondo and making sure that your individual journey is successful. They push you and make you understand the joy in earning your rank, not just receiving it. Their consistent motivation and attention to detail make them great to be around. I’m so happy I found them 6 years ago, and I can’t imagine not having them in my life now.

Best Taekwondo school we’ve found in TX or CA. Our two kids were attending Taekwondo schools in CA for two years before we moved to TX in 2017. We had tried a couple of option back in CA before settling on one. When we decided to move to TX we were worried if we’d find something as good. We were pleasantly surprised to find an even better option in VRTKD. It’s a spacious environment with great instructors and instructor assistants. The approach is rigorous yet supportive to different kids at different proficiency levels. The attention to detail and commitment to the students is remarkable. Staff friendliness makes it a welcoming place. Highly recommended!

It was really awesome experience at the regional tournament the past weekend. Cant believe 3 consecutive Gold in sparring!!! Proud moment for us. Also all kids were in high morale and displayed competitive spirit all through out the event. I also saw judges comforting the kids who were nervous and brought the best out of them!!! Kudos to the kids and judges!!! Every kid got equal opportunity since the team was split according to their age and belt level. Thanks for the opportunity.

I have been training at Valley Ranch Taekwondo for almost two years now and have loved every minute of it. This isnt some cheap school where they hand out belts like candy as long as you pay. If you get to a new belt level you deserve it. The Regional and National events are awesome! I cannot say enough good things about Mrs Lacy and her instructors, Ms. Tiffany Lacy, Mr. Bobby Lacy and Mr. Luke Lacy. Just visit their website and read Mrs. Lacys storied history. She has built her life around Taekwondo and it shows. I am 41 years old, so kind of late coming into martial arts, but it was always something I wanted to do. I was a bit intimidated coming into the school to start, but the respect and professionalism of the staff sold me from day one. Mrs. Lacy is an excellent teacher and knows all of her students by name. All the instructors and senior students are very active in the development of all students regardless of their experience, age, gender, natural ability or reason for training. I highly recommend Valley Ranch Taekwondo it will improve your body, mind and soul.

For a parent whose child is a first time student in a martial arts class, Valley Ranch Taekwondo has been all we hoped for. The gym is clean and well maintained. Information about classes, testings and calendar of events are always timely sent to parents via email and posted at the gym. Fees are reasonably priced and discounts are offered. Instructors help a lot not only in teaching techniques and skills about the sport but also respect, discipline, responsibility and sportsmanship while incorporating fun into each class. We have seen a great deal of improvement on our child’s confidence in less than a year since he was enrolled. This is a class he always looks forward to attending.

My whole family go to this school since we moved to Irving in 2009. I have attended at least 3 schools of three different disciplines in prior so I did a good research before enrolling my son. I observed that this school follows the basic foundation of karate where the art evolved from so youll get the benefit of both disciplines. Also, this school is guided by a national standards of all Taekwondo America schools so expect to learn not only good but proper skills if you the student is able and willing. Students are assessed by instructors from different schools in Texas and visiting judges from other schools all over the nation so you will earn every promotion that you get. They have different programs for all ages.

I cannot say enough good things about this martial arts school. The staff here are so knowledgable and talented and want to share their gifts with the surrounding community. This family run business goes above and beyond to make you feel like part of their family. They are teaching kids values that seem to be long since forgotten in this day in age, like respect, preservence and integrity. I am grateful to be part of this Taekwondo family and look forward to many more years to come!

We had a great experience with the recent tournament in May 2018 in Lewisville. Our kids were given great training in practice sessions starting three weeks before the tournament. They learned a lot in those sessions. All instructors put in a lot of effort during the training period. They worked hard starting early morning at the tournament also. We had a good time at the tournament and was very satisfying to see the kids participate which also helped them grow in confidence.

I agree with below feedback. They are just money suckers.I had a very bad experience when they put the blame on my son for not clearing brown belt test even after attending all the sessions and getting 8 stripes.Reply to your response: I had pull Rohak because of arrogant and unprofessional manner shown by you for stating that you can teach him at home. I am surprised that you are saying my son it is not clear the exam and you are not belt factory then how come you did not pointing out his mistake in the class. He attended all session and all days and during that your team said he was performing really good. Why all of sudden during testing you are saying that he did not perform and you starting blaming my son for the poor performance. I hope you understand that you are running Institution you should have some responsibility and accountability. He is really doing in other place because they care for their student, not like you.

I wish I could give a zero. These guys are money suckers. I signed up for a promotion for one month, to try out during this summer; and when i insisted on paying cash; they said a credit card needs to be on file, for security purposes. It was a training kid who did this initial transaction with me ; I obliged since it was the last day of promotion. After a couple of classes, my daughter was not interested and she discontinued. I sent an email saying that we would not like to continue, and an email after that again, when they continued to charge me. I walked into their office, and asked couple of days later, as to why they keep billing me, and they made me sign a form for cancellation. They again billed me the subsequent month, and I am thinking they would keep billing. PARENTS, PLEASE KEEP CHECKING YOUR ACCOUNT STATEMENTS....

This is place terrible it made people cry. It is very biased toward people and they rip you off. If u want to learn martial arts than learn Kung fu. This is not true martial arts, Mr. Shaw was amazing though, but after he left... all they care about is the money, I have experienced both this and Kung Fu and I can say with absolute confidence that Kung Fu is better and they dont care about only money.

The quality has gone down with instructor to student ratio to 1:35 and no attention to students. Its just a crowd at the academy. The situation is getting worse on daily basis. Ms Lacy I suggest you take controls back as you absence is not helping. Control admissions, just running after money will not help.
