I love the Gents place.The employees are amazing.They make me feel at home whenever I visit.There is truly a club feel not just a place to get your haircut.I have seen the owner several times, although I have never spoken to him (probably because he was busy with meetings), he seems very nice and down to earth.I would give the Gents Place in Las Colinas 10 stars if it was possible.

This establishment hands downs provides the best hair cut experience Ive ever had. The ladies at the front are always very welcoming and Samantha consistantly produces the most precise fades and has an awesome personality. To anyone who hasnt had a 7 course yet go spoil yourself and ask for Samantha, shes got magic fingers when it comes to the massage. Its always a great time at The Gents Place.

The Gents Place Las Colinas is an amazing experience! The service is excellent and the staff are knowledgeable and experienced. Every haircut I have gotten from the Gents Place (and I have seen multiple people) has been excellent and I have been very happy with them. I have lived all over the States and this is by far one of the best Barber/Mens Lounges that I have been to. Jessica is the best! Give excellent hair cuts as well as a killer 5 and 7 courses! Kaitlin up in the front is awesome! She makes you feel really welcome and always goes above and beyond to help members with anything they need!

I came in to give this place a try, and at first I was excited. Very inviting place and free drinks at the bar. After waiting for 5 minutes to be greeted by the bartender to check in for my appointment, I finally went back for my haircut. Overall, a good haircut and stylist. I was really considering buying the membership. Right before leaving the chair, the manager came and told the stylist that she was ten minutes over and that she needed to wrap it up. Upon checkout, I was given a sales pitch to buy hair product and that they are going to run out soon. That was a bold face lie, and for that I will not return. Sorry.

Hands down best barber shop I have ever been to. I enjoy being greeted by the friendly staff and a nice drink, they are always accommodating when it comes to rescheduling my appointment, and Sam is incredible at cutting hair and making sure it is just how I like it. It only took me one visit before signing up for a membership (which is definitely worth it). I now look forward to going in to get my hair cut.

I visited this place first time today with my teenage son. Jessica Tellez attended to us and she was more than good. My son is so happy that we are going to be signing up for yearly membership. I’ve been a member since they opened and I can tell you it’s worth the money!I absolutely love the feel and staff at this location plus it’s right down the street from home for me.I’ve had the same stylist since I starting coming and Jessica K is absolutely fantastic! She has helped me find a style I like, looks good and makes me feel good! She is super friendly and I always enjoy getting my haircut with her. Seriously as long as she is working there I’ll always be a member!Edit: Jessica K doesn’t work here anymore but they definitely helped me find someone that fit me perfectly! Aaliyah H is absolutely fantastic!

Front staff worker was friendly, offered me a drink, and wasn’t pushy about upgraded membership perks or products.Jessica T was a great stylist and was able to cut, shape, and style my hard to manage hair. She was warm and friendly and was easy to talk to.Overall this is one of the best membership-style clubs I’ve been to. They offer you all the options and ask if you have any questions, but don’t push you on the product or services. A lot of places make it uncomfortable to tell them you are good with a certain level of perks and they keep pushing more and more on you... not so with The Gents Place. They are happy to see you, give you great service and products, and make you feel comfortable the whole time!I will definitely come again and recommend all my friends!

It can be fun place to hang out with your coworkers after work and seems good deal.I believe Hair place need to be good at hair cut but Im getting hair cut again from other place to fix it this week. I tried with 5 course member for a day package but they did not offered and only got hair cut with a drink.Overpriced, more than double, hair product. I purchased conditional for $23+, but it was $11-$14 online.

I decided to give The Gents Place a shot, after seeing their post on Facebook and receiving a free haircut trial with them to try their services I was hooked. I rarely changed barbershops and the one I went to previously I had been a customer with them for almost 10 years, and honestly I dont regret making the change. I enjoy going and their customer service is great!

A membership here is the most worth it thing ever. Sometimes it seems too good to be true - they treat me great and always offer me a drink. My stylist is Jessica T, she’s a pro. I always leave feeling amazing. I will not let anyone else touch my hair. We always have so much fun hanging out and talking while I’m there.

Probably the best haircut experience, you pay for what you get. Upon entering you check in and receive a complimentary top shelf liquor/beer. The waiting area is rustic and modern, including a wooden Connect Four game, a fireplace, and an awesome Beetles painting.The ONLY reason I’m docking a star is because I did not get the shoe shine included with my Member Pass. I’m pretty sure the hostess was supposed to do this while I wait for my stylist, not sure. I will add the hostess/lady checking in the members was not friendly and stood there on her phone.My stylist was new, yet still amazing. Keetay I believe was her name. She was incredible. I will definitely be coming back and purchasing a membership. 7 course service is worth every penny. I’ll be back in a month!

I want it noted that the administrative staff is EXCELLENT. Very professional, personable, and accommodating. The membership amenities are unparalleled in my experience. The reason for the 2 star review is that they cannot seem to keep a barber on staff. I have been a member since the club opened a few months ago. During this time, Ive had two different barbers, who are now no longer with the company for reasons unbeknownst to me. It appears that they currently have no licensed barbers at this location. I cannot, in good conscience, give a good rating to a barber shop with no barbers. It was great while it lasted.

I really enjoy myself every time I get a haircut here. Also a plus having someone with a barbers license. Staff is really friendly and accommodating. Lots of selections as far as drinks go. I have the 3 course membership and I have had about 7 months of haircuts so far and not one time was there an issue. I like the products they use as well. Never leave there unhappy.

Well. I might not good in explaining what i need and I didn’t get a picture of what i want. But a stylist might understand what I am trying to say and I didn’t find any style suggestions given to me. All they asked for is a picture. Better be ready with a picture. Maybe take it to a $20 place where ‘picture’ can say it all.

Extremely disappointed in the service I received today. The location is great, super super nice on the inside. The products they use are awesome and I very much enjoyed the ambiance. I had originally booked the male barber but was surprised when a female stylist showed up to cut my hair. She was very nice but did a terrible job. Spent hardly any time on my hair actually cutting it but critiqued my previous haircut the entire time and did nothing to fix it. Paid $50 for a neck shave, size buzz and a critique of my previous hair cut...Extremely disappointed with the service at this location. Would love to try the barber next time as I feel like he would do a better job. NOT at all happy with my haircut.

After having been a member for a few months, I am finally posting a review. The Gents Place is not just a place to go and get a haircut. The staff members here make it apparent from the second that you walk in that the entire premise is to have an experience.If you buy a membership (well worth it!) you can come as many times per week as you want for an Upkeep where you get two free drinks (alcohol, non-alcoholic, coffee, etc), a hot-lather neck shave, and a trim of the sides/edges of your hair. Appointments are easy to schedule with a concierge that you can call, text, or email basically all day.The staff do everything possible to make each visit an experience where you leave with looking good, and more importantly, with a smile! I could not recommend the Gents Place anymore.

Had to go to a Southlake location due to this one being closed to limited staff and traffic due to covid. I was hoping to make this location in Las colinas my go to spot. Hopefully it will open up soon

This place is too busy trying to sell you a membership and serve drinks to actually provide good service and a good haircut. The stylist there was awful, throughout the haircut she kept on going through a scripted list of questions to make small talk and always replying great, awesome no matter what I replied; she was like a robot. She asked, what did you do today?, I could have replied, my dog died today and she would have said great, awesome. On top of that, she gave me a terrible haircut. Management needs to learn that its all about the service - you can tell me all you want about your memberships, but if the service isnt there, who cares?

Went to gent place to try it out and I loved the location. I received a hair cut from a stylist named Ana and was very satisfied with my hair cut. I would definitely recommend this place to all my friends and family

Great atmosphere! Im used to a normal old fashioned barber shop. But while in Texas I decided to stop in and try this establishment out and I was duly impressed with a good haircut, drinks (alcoholic or non alcoholic alike) and good shampoo, conditioner and scalp massage.

Maddy was great at the front desk. She was welcoming and did a wonderful job! Also had a great experience with the grooming specialist Aaliyah! Fun conversation, she knew exactly what I wanted and did a perfect job! Great ambience, excellent service! Loved it!

Great professional place! Very clean! Front desk is so nice made me feel very comfortable. Stylist very educational and haircut was exactly what I asked for. Never felt that in a barbershop before! The Gents Place is literally something I look forward to every month. Sam (the manager) operates a fantastic shop. The people are professional, the service is exceptional, the quality of the haircuts and massages are second to none.

The service with Charnetta was so good that I became a member on the spot. Shes fun to work with and knows how to read my mood. Her high n tight? Fabulous! Ive had several people ask me if I was in the military based on the haircut, which I was (USMC). The top-shelf liquor and beer offerings are a nice touch. Id like a little more selection, but, to be honest, its not a make-or-break point. I surmise the scheduling may be too fastidious as I sometimes notice the stylists are a bit rushed. Its not to the point of having a client sit in the chair and kick him out as quickly as possible. I want the stylist, be it Charnetta or anybody else, to take her time with me, as well as with all other clients. I would rather be told my desired appointment time is unavailable than be made to wait because scheduling is too tight. Going to The Gents Place Las Colinas is a weekly highlight for me. Ill be seeing yall this afternoon.

Went there to have a haircut. The lady was in so much hurry that she did my haircut in just 5 mins by asking 2 sizes on trimmer. Their barbers are not having concept of haircut apart from asking the size on trimmer and doing robot job. Totally disappointed. I could have done better haircut at my home with trimmer. Not worth visiting again.

Full service haircuts and services for men, haircut, foot repair, boot shine etc. They always greet me by name and ask me what I want to drink that day. Jessica T is awesome and always does a great job for me!

Gave it a try. Hair stylist did a decent job, but rushed to finish the job. Was considering to buy membership, but i have to enquire and ask details about membership. It has to be other way around, them explaining details. They didn’t even offer shoe polish, which is included in one day membership.After their pathetic service and knowing about membership details, can surely say; this place is not worth the membership; unless you freely want to give away your money.

Awesome environment and awesome staff! They make you feel like a real VIP whether it’s you’re first time there or you’re 20th! That full 7 course experience is bad a** and you always leave feeling refreshed and ready to take on the world. I usually do not write reviews especially at all the places I’ve gotten my haircut. I wasnt thrilled with this place actually. Where to start...LocationThey dont allow you to come in the side or back door so you have to walk around. They have this huge giant space but its poorly laid out. They just didnt use it wisely. It doesnt feel luxury.7 Course ExperienceI usually go to the Boardroom Salon and Ive been to other higher in places for men so was excited to find this close to where I live and wanted to try the full experience. I was just disappointed. It wasnt relaxing at all. The stylist couldnt find anything and was running all over the place looking for this product and this thing. Also they take you back to wash your hair in this quiet room a lot like Boardroom but then take you back to the chair in the bright lights to do everything else.So she laid me all the way back facing the bright lights, went in under my shirt to massage my shoulders and then my arms and then the facial all out in the open. Boardroom does all this in more relaxing and more private way for less money I might add.Sales PitchFrom the minute I got there it was one long giant sales pitch all the way to the end. Really pushy and constant throughout my session. They push their membership and products. I wasnt happy.As Im leaving, I dont need anything but she still grabs 3 products and takes them to the counter for me to checkout. The girl checking me out ask me 4 times am I really sure I dont need any products before running my card. Serioiusly?Bottom LineHonestly I dont plan to return. I was put off by the constant sales pitch for products and membership. I didnt enjoy the experience, it wasnt well thought out and it was rushed. Theres so many cool things they could have done if they had thought the space out better.Thumbs Down For Me

The place looks great, I went when they were almost closing and they were nice enough to help me. However, my hair is now all messed up with diferent lengths. You need to train your stylist more. Ill never leave my current barber now. I learned my lesson.

Paid for the 5 course, got a 1 course instead. Over priced and service was mediocre at best. Definitely not going back.

Have you ever gone to get a haircut and thought, man I sure wish this felt more like a car dealership. Say no more, because youve come to the right place.I came here when they were just starting up shop under a free haircut coupon and thats where we can start with the good: the place is brand new, chic, and looks great. The staff are also very friendly and the free drink is nice too, but thats where it grinds to a halt. Everywhere you go is a potential upsale, whether it be product or some other service. I was pushed into doing a facial for free cause someone needed training on it. But they continually pushed the membership saying certain levels would have the facial included.The worst part of it all, the haircut wasnt that good! The guy failed to even do the usual hey lets look at how it turned out with 2 mirrors thing. If you have asian hair, and want a more asian look BUT are trying to avoid a bowl cut or other awful look... This place is to be avoided. The biggest kicker was at the very end when the person said, Id like to see him back in 3 months to the receptionist... Like Im coming back to get stitches removed or something. Never again will I visit any gents place in any part of the country after this experience.

Worst haircut ever. I booked a professional hair stylist but they let the intern cut my hair without even telling me. Kita ruined my hair style that when another stylist looked she was mad at her and they both were literally arguing what to do, like I am invisible or or there. If you want to ruin your hair style or want to get bold only then go to this place. I Hate it:(

I have given a 5 star review after being a member for more than 2 months on Facebook.However in my last 2 visits this person Maddie at your front desk in Las Colinas has been ruining my experience with you guys.My understanding of an experience at the gents place is all about hospitality and customer delight which I think Maddie is messing it up. I donno if she has just been like this to me. Not so welcoming attitude and not asking/offering a drink as soon as you walk in This can happen once given the chances are she probably missed it.But if it happens 2 times in a row then either something has changed in “the gents place hospitality” of great experience or this person is just doing the job right!! Not happy at all ..Tamika has been great including the service professional Jessica’s (both T and K) Aaliyah .. everyone has been great!!Please look into this becoz front desk reception carries your brand image.. if this is bad then even if the professionals are doing great job can be negated.

If I could give this place -5 I would, you’ll get better treatment and quality haircut if you go to Supercuts, either that or I had the worst among all of them, the girl name is Aleeya stay away from her, no idea what she is doing, doesn’t follow your instructions when it comes to cutting hair.
