Booked my haircut online with my membership. Walked in and sat down after checking in right in time. 5 min go by...10 min go by...15 min go by...Mind you, I’m the only person in the waiting area. I finally get up to ask if I’m early and have time time wrong and the receptionists goes and checks on the stylist. Apparently she’s with someone also and will be another 5-10 min. I had to leave...it’s opening day, I have to work, etc. I’m not coming back to this location. If you book there, I’d book early and arrive late to avoid waiting around and watching HGTV for 30 mins.

Always clean and professional. The initial price may seem high at first, but they offer memberships for unlimited haircuts, which I jumped on right after my second visit. Members also get extra discounts off any additional services and products.Highly recommend giving them a shot. Ive been going to Daniel for over a year now, never once had a bad experience.

Update: I lowered to one star in response to the Owners comment below. Several days later, I have not received any sort of outreach from the salon manager, owner, etc. It was purely lip service in an attempt to seem sincere to online viewers. I stand by my review and statement, completely. Will not return.My first visit here was perfect; honestly thought I would be a long-term customer. My second visit turned that upside down and I will not be coming back.On my second visit, I asked for the same stylist and again, she was great. After two days, I realized I wanted the cut a little shorter and blended a bit more. I called up two days after that as it was the weekend (four days from initial service) and asked when i could come in for a touch up. I was told that it had been too long, and I would have to pay for another service. She then tried to sell me on a subscription. Paraphrasing: If you had a SUBSCRIPTION, you could get all the touchups you want.I pay $45 +tip for a haircut, and I cannot get a quick touch-up a few days later? Instead of correcting the product I paid for, you try to sell me on giving you more money? I asked for a touch up because I did not like the first cut.I will not be back.

This place is great! Ive been a member of one location or another (currently here) for almost a year. The prices are a bit higher but the service is well worth it and if you get weekly haircuts like I do it actually ends up saving you money. Thursdays at the Boardroom have become my me time for the week. I dont let anyone come with me I just have a beer or two and decompress. The fact that I got a reply to my rating before I ever had any text just further reenforces my view of their excellent customer service. Would highly recommend a membership to anyone who can afford it or who wants to do something special for a special guy in their life.

I’ve been a benchmark member for almost a year now. It took me a while to find the right stylist. There are many that just do not know when to be quiet. There are days when it’s nice just to relax and not have to talk. I had appointments with Vianey (took weeks ahead to even book with her) but out of nowhere she kept cancelling. Sandra B. Is by far the best at the Irving/Las Colinas Location. She knows when it has been a tough day and I want to relax and she equally knows when I need the conversation. 5 stars is the most I can give I would give her more. If Sandra ever leaves, you can count on me to end my membership.

I went here for the first time. Chose the benchmark option. I must say, it was a great experience. From the haircut to the spa treatment, I enjoyed it. Cost me $48 with an offer but it actually costs $60. In such difficult times with Covid 19, I appreciate the amount of effort they put in keeping the place clean and sanitized. They make you wash your hands as soon as you enter and also check your temperature. Kudos to you guys.

I come here on regular basis and have seen at least a half dozen different barbers/stylists and all have done a wonderful job.

This place isnt cheap, but its my little monthly treat to myself. I would only recommend the full Benchmark with the massage/hot towel/hand treatment, as I think you could find comparable haircuts for a lower cost elsewhere- if thats all you care about. Aracely does a great job, and uses scissors instead of the clippers. I think a lot of the clients have a membership, which seems like a great value if you get your hair cut more than once a month. Im not 21, but free beer is included if thats something you value. Definitely give them a try, although it is very hard to go back to Great Clips afterwards!

I thought of going to this place and see difference. Normally i go to TGP for my hair cut and tried setting up at boardroom and being a non member scheduled appointment found their services are lot less or quality was low like no neck shave was done and even haircut was done in hurry too and my other services like facial was also done in less than 25 minutes . I guess they don’t wana spend enough time or quality of services is missing what we get at other places.I was thinking to start my membership but after this experience boardroom is out of my listThanks

Definitely coming back next time I’m in town. Daniel is a man of his craft, he took the time to explain everything he was going to do prior to doing it which when it comes to beard trimmings is a big deal for me. He was super professional and even put me on a few products. If you need someone you can trust with a pair of clippers I’d ask for him.

Jessica is a great hairstylist. Knew exactly what needed to be done for my hair, didnt recommend anything unnecessarily and was a professional. The place is clean and they follow all practices to keep it hygienic (including checking temperature and sanitizing the door handles).

Sophia is always attentive and welcoming and well knowledgeable about the products at the front desk. Tara is the best stylist I’ve ever had. I go weekly. I wore a hat everyday for years. Haven’t worn one a single day since she’s been my stylist. I would highly recommend her to anyone. Except... don’t make it impossible for me to book her 😉.

I am very specific about my beard, I have had it for about 10 years. I called in after doing research of my own, I spoke with a representative. I let them know that I was looking for some one with extensive beard trimming experience, they recommended Daniel. As soon as I came in they were very welcoming and proffesional, the place is luxurious and clean. Daniel was very attentive to the way I described my haircut and beard trim, he cut it exactly as I asked. He even recommended a product for my beard that is amazing, I appreciated him going above and beyond to listen to what I was curious about. Overall it is a very good place with great deals for repeat customers, I will definitely be going back.

Got a haircut today at this location from Daniel T. Daniel did exactly opposite of what I had told him. In addition he tried to sell me a monthly haircut package. Terrible customer service and salesmanship. I do not recommend this place.

Fantastic “country club” experience!Blanca does an amazing job with my twice-a-month haircut/wash/style, and Daniel is equally skilled at grooming my beard. This place has absolutely changed the way I view/get haircuts. I used to go to one of the bigger chains, but I got so tired of hoping whoever was going to cut my hair that day knew what they were doing. I was a little concerned at the beginning, because the price per individual haircut was pretty steep, but if you are interested in the memberships, you can really take advantage of all of The Boardroom’s offerings and over a year, really lower the average cost per haircut.On a personal level, I look forward to seeing their staff just as much, if not more, than getting a haircut. I believe a fresh haircut plays a big role in feeling confident, so I go here once a week, just to get the most for my money. After three years, they are almost like a second family. Alyssa Evatt has been my stylist since the beginning. Aside from being just extremely good at what she does, she’s super friendly and personable.Whether it’s from the “hello” every time I walk in the door, to the manager making sure she says “hi”, or the haircut and conversation with Alyssa, my membership at The Boardroom has been an absolute game-changer in this area of my life. In my opinion, the Boardroom is definitely worth trying simply because it’s so much more than a haircut.

For a place that likes to call itself professional, they sure like to disappoint you with their appointments. A friend and I arrived at 6.30 for a 6.45 appointment and had to wait until ~7.35 to get the stylist/barber. This was on a Thursday. I don’t know but I don’t feel confident about a place that doesn’t really value customers’ time. The place closes at 8, so the barber/stylish is almost always going to be in a rush and do a mediocre job.I’ll probably give this place another shot in a month and see how it goes. I’d have liked to have a non-disappointing first visit. Alas.

I’m not gonna lie, I was super skeptical about going here for a haircut. I have my own personal barber but he was out out town. I wasn’t sure they had anybody on their staff that could cut my kind of hair (I’m a black male). I set a reservation with Daniel T. I must say, this was one of the best barber shop experiences I’ve ever had. I’m actually upset at myself for not going sooner like my wife wanted.Everything was awesome, if you were hesitant in coming here, please give it a shot. It was such a great experience.

Absolute worst experience Ive ever had at a barber. They pushed my appointment back by 15 minutes with the reasoning that they wanted to maximize the barbers time. During my entire haircut, the barber was rushing to get done so he could move on the to next customer. He cleaned up the sides as quickly as he possibly could and I had to ask him to go back and finish making it even twice. The first time he cut it in such a hurry he misaligned the left side of my hair.I went in for a haircut and beard trim. The barber asked specifically what I wanted and it was just a trim and line up the beard. I have about a 1-1/2 to 2 inch long beard and he shaved my mustache down to almost nothing. I asked to speak with a manager and was told that she is not in and that she would call me back when she gets into the office the next business day. Never heard anything from anyone. I would absolutely not recommend going here.

I go to this location for two reasons: First, its close to my office. Second, my wife says that this is the best and most consistent haircut Ive gotten. Quality is always there. Ask for Blanca - shes the best.

I started going here when I grew my beard out and needed a REAL barber that knows how to properly cut, style, and explain best practices for beard care.Daniel has become my go to guy, he is so incredibly knowledgeable its hard to fathom how much he must love his work. I know if I go here I will always get the top level of service.You get what you pay for!

From the moment I walked until I left, I had great service. I was a walk in, and was told I was going to wait for 30 minutes. Come 15 minutes later, Joey was ready for me. He offered me to put up my jacket, and assisted me in doing so because I had my hands full. The haircut itself was great because I felt confident in Joeys ability. He seemed very knowledgeable, and molded the whole experience to me. I will definitely come back, and would highly recommend it here for anyone looking to change salon/barber.

I have visited Boardroom on a handful of occasions over the last several months. Sometimes Ive gone for the Benchmark and at other times I have gone for the foot and hand grooming services. Most recently, I visited last week for a Benchmark service with Blanca. She was professional and friendly beyond reproach. I am not a talkative person and she was cool with that. Blanca was understanding of my preferences for a cut and made sure that it came out according to my specifications. Ill be seeing her again sooner than later.

This is a first class salon for men. The customer service is great and the stylist know what they are doing. When you arrive they offer you a beverage and have a comfortable waiting area. The membership program is interesting. You pay one fee up front and can get as many haircuts as you want in etiher a 6 or 12 month period. I have had great experiences here.

I am always extremely happy with my haircut from The Boardroom. But better than the cut is the scalp, face, and hand massage. Men need to be pampered sometimes too, and The Boardroom provides the perfect pampered experience.

Very nice environnement and initial welcome;However the cut was more than basic, maybe 6/7 min + 5 min shampoo and there you go. My bad : I did not use my glasses to pay more attention to the result, and mirrors are far from the chair. It turned out to be a very uneven cut; The person who cut my hair appeared totally uninterested and bored. Very disappointing experience. You look for something a little upscale, and you play for it - but you dont have it.

I visit Vianey and The Boardroom staff on a weekly basis to keep things nice and tight. What an excellent staff! The experience gets better every week, going on a year now. I came with my husband for a beard trim and was very impressed by not only the look of the place but also how professional the staff was. This was my first time. Very relaxing experience. I went in for a express cut. Joey was my hair stylist. I was trying out something new with my hair so I needed advice. He understood the problem and gave me great advice. Got a good cut, he was very attentive to every detail. I am not going anywhere else from now on, this is going to be my to go place for hair cut. But instead of Express cut I will go for the benchmark now. I can only imagine how good that will be!!

Ive never wanted to get my haircuts at salons, now Im upset I never have. The stylist there helped me with not only which styles best fit my type of hair, but they also showed me what products to use for my type of hair. Ive never been so excited to go get a haircut. With so many different add-ons, which are all worth it, and the level of customer service the staff provides is far beyond 5 stars. I also didnt realize how much Id appreciate getting my hair washed at the end of my haircut. Keep up the good work ladies!

The first time I went there it was great with no problems. However I have scheduled two appointments since my first visit only to be called the day of my appointments to be told both times that they had to cancel my appointment due to someone not showing up at work. I get it we all have emergencies but two weeks in a row? Not okay. I will be taking my business elsewhere. For this place to be so expensive you would expect that they would have enough stylists.

This salon for men was the first time I visited this place its very clean and a great atmosphere! I had my haircut by Erica who did a great job and definitely will be coming back again. They gave me a free upgrade to a benchmark and two haircuts to give to two friends which counts toward two free haircuts for myself once they use the coupon. I definitely recommend this Salon for every guy to give it a try.

Used to take my son for a hair cut to this place. It was really good about a year and half ago. With the stylists changing from time to time, it went from good to bad to worse. Latest experience with stylist Tara was the worst. And this will be our last visit to this place.
