We rented 2 cars from Stop-N-Go Rent-A-car during our two summer road trips in 2021. The service is fast and Ben and Brad are very friendly and customer focused. Their rates are very competitive and even better compared to other major car rental companies and their location close to the SNA airport makes them a great choice for car rental. We will definitely continue working with them in the future for our car rental needs. Their car selection is good and they will try to accommodate you in any way they can.

We gave them a call at the airport as it was said in the confirmation email. In less than 5 minutes a shuttle picked us up to the rental shop and they dropped us off, at the end, at the airport. Friendly, polite, helpful and organized. Absolutely satisfied with their service!

The best car rental experience weve ever had. Prompt pickup at the airport (no more than five minutes from the time we called them until they arrived) and a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Ben and Brad, two brothers who own the business are on site and have owned the agency for 12 years. They really have their act together. No hidden fees or surprises on pickup or return. Two very honest and upfront owners. One driver commented his car had 50,000 miles on it - big deal!! Our vehicle (Hyundai Accent) had 60,000 miles on it but was immaculate inside and rode and drove well. They evidently take very good care of and maintain their vehicles well. Because of the great value they offer - half of what the big agencies charge - and their excellent customer service - we will rent from them again when we return to see our family.

We had reserved a convertible Mustang for a week of California sunshine. Our visit was delayed by 24 hours due to flight issues. Stop-N-Go started our week rental when we arrived with no issues allowing us to completely enjoy our vacation. The car and service provided was outstanding. We highly recommend them for your Southern Cal car rental needs.

My Husband, Daughter and I rented a car for our vacation, i will never go anywhere else again. the customer service was top notch it literally took them less than 5 mins to get us from the airport and to pick up our car. the car was excellent and we had no issues, we did have a little mishap with a double charge but they went above and beyond to fix that right away, like i said we wont rent anywhere else when we come to visit southern callifornia now. thank you for helping make our trip amazing

Great people who work here, I was running late for a flight and they were ready when I got to the office and dropped everything to get me there in time. Check in and check out/airport pickup was the fastest I’ve ever experienced with a rental car as well as some of the nicest people I’ve worked with in this industry. I would absolutely use again, very pleasant experience.

Why does the website allow you to rent a car when they dont actually have anything available? Apparently, a reservation email with a reservation number and the actual car youre renting doesnt constitute an actual reservation. Im glad I called to double-check my reservation instead of just showing up.

If you need a rental car that is fast, reasonably priced and easy, Stop-N-Go Rent-A-Car is the perfect place from SNA airport. When we landed, I called the number and was stated that itll be 5 minutes for the shuttle to arrive. Luckily, the area to be picked up from SNA was conveniently located near the taxi area on ground transportation. The whole process took about 5 minutes at the office in Irvine. The rental car provided was very nice and would rent from them again.

Bait and switch deceptive practice at the Irvine location. The rep name is BenOn the original quote I booked 16 days and received in my email, the total cost was $542.69. But was charged a total of $619.52!Upon arrival, he wanted to charge UP FRONT about $700 or something similar to cover for whatever. We then got in a minor argument. But I was from out of town and I had limited choice at the time. So I inquired about weekly rental. He went inside another room to check price and came out to tell me the daily rate is the same as 16 days. But he needed to AUTHORIZE $350. Then he made me sign a yellow paper about $271. He explain to me they needed to overcharge because in case I exceed my days etc. However, he did not provide me the paper that shows the rate, tax etc.I extended my lease to the full 16 days.Upon returning the car, he charged me $348.52 on a little white gas station type of receipt with no other info. Seeing my hesitance, he said “trust me. Just sign”. So I signed. Then he made me sign a $271 receipt of the same type. Still no other details. So mentally I felt this was higher. Realizing he over charged me, I took back my $348.52receipt. And decided to take this up to my credit card company to dispute. He demanded receipt back. So I wrote down on the receipt I disagree with the charge. Since the two receipt sum apparently exceeded 542.69. As I was taking a photo of the receipt, he yanked it out of my hand and used foul language telling me to get out of his face.I felt he took advantage of the fact that I am Asian and from out of town.I had such a wonderful experience in California. He gave it a such a bad after taste by deceiving me!

Renting from Stop-n-Go car rental was a great experience in every way. From the friendliness of Ben the owner (who also picked us up at the airport) to the smooth rental process, to the clean and comfortable car (that got great gas mileage) we were delighted with everything and will definitely rent there again when we are back in the area.

I dont usually use off-site car rental agencies but this one had such a great rating I decided to take a chance. I was not disappointed, the service was great. I was picked up at the airport within 10 minutes and brought directly to the office where my car was waiting. The price was honored and the car was new and clean. I requested to add a driver a few days into the rental and they made it so easy and affordable. I just had to text a picture of the new drivers licence to the owner. I would definitely recommend using this agency!

My family and I had a great experience with Stop-N-Go Rent-a-Car! When we arrived we called for them to come pick us up, and they were here immediately. Service at the rental spot was quick and we were on our way. Car was excellent during our time. We returned it, and were immediately taken to the airport. This place is great. I had a rental scheduled with one of the chains that fell through last minute. The guy at the chain counter set me up with this small business by calling them and arranging an airport pickup as they are a mile away. This experience could have been horrible as I had no idea what the reputation was of this company. Thankfully it was anything but. They had a car. Car was fine and priced about 20% below chain. The customer service was amazing. Really nice people here. My 14 yo son accidentally left his cell phone in the rental car. We called them from the airport and without hesitation they drove back to airport and gave my son his phone. We will use them from now on when flying into Santa Ana.

My husband didnt realize his license was expired and our original Rental company would not provide me with the van that was promised to him. They referred us to STOP & GO RENTAL and they were $100 less expensive. It was a quick in and out and the Van was immaculate! Great car and GREAT SERVICE!

I got to the hotel 30 minutes faster than my colleague, who rented from a company at the airport. Even though Stop-n-go is offsite, they are still quicker, very friendly, and the car was in great condition and fun to drive.

Picked me up from the hotel on time, returned me to the airport without issue, provided a clean vehicle that worked great for FAR cheaper than any competitor. Great vehicle selection and availability, they werent crazy about analyzing the vehicle upon return, and they were very cordial and polite throughout the entire transaction. Absolutely renting from them again when were in town. Only one recommendation for future customers: its not unlimited mileage, but we found the 200mi/day was over double what we were able to use.

Great deal for medium-long term

Our experience with this company was GREAT! We made a reservation via the internet and received a confirmation email. They picked us up at the airport once we called. We got to skip waiting at the major car rental places at the airport and having to navigate getting out of the airport. The car was clean and exactly what we wanted. Their rates were phenomenal compared to the major rental car companies! We are so very happy we rented through them!

I had a good experience with this small company. I accidentally booked the wrong dates with one of the big chain rental car companies, and these guys bailed me out by accommodating me on the spot. Yes, they are off site, but they are very close to the airport and its not like they have a circulating shuttle that takes 20 minutes... its more like the owner takes the phone call and then jumps in the car to pick you up, so we only had to wait 5 minutes. It was actually more convenient then hauling my kids over to pick up an on-site car. I visit OC often, and I plan on renting from this company more in the future.

We booked a week vacation at Disneyland and originally booked a rental car at Budget. When we arrived Budget would not honor the Budget vouchers that we had paid $450 for. It was spring break and all of the rental car places in the Santa Ana Airport were sold out of SUVs (there were 7 of us traveling with all of our luggage). The Dollar rental car was one of the places that was sold out but he referred us to Stop and Go. They came and picked us up (all 7 of us with our luggage) took us to their office which was just a couple of blocks away. They gave us an excellent rate and had the perfect car for us! We will be forever grateful to them for helping us out. Anyone looking for a rental car should consider Stop and Go they will give you a good price, a great car and excellent customer service.

Immediately after giving them my credit card, I had $2000 worth of fraud try to come through my credit card with the fraud originating in the local area. I live halfway across the country and have never had any fraud on my card and this was the first purchase I made after getting to California so its very clear the fraud was a result of renting from here and giving them my credit card. Shout out to Chase for catching it right away and calling me immediately to check and shut down the card and mail me a new one where I was vacationing. I dont think they have any proper hacking safe guards. The car we rented also had mechanical issues and a crack in the windshield. If you do rent from here- do not under any circumstance give them your debit card! I paid with cash when I dropped off the car so they wouldnt have my new credit card number. Two stars because they have an airport shuttle which is really convenient and the owner seems nice enough and was responsive to phone calls.

Flew in to John Wayne, the Avis line was out the door, enterprise had no cars, I had 7 people and one in a wheelchair, looked these guys up, Ben took care of us with a great newer Nissan Pathfinder. Reserved a mustang for my adult son to try out before buying, not even 20 miles down the road the car overheated. After waiting for owner to bring a new mustang to replace broke down one, this new replacement mustang was in need of a brake job. More disappointed when owner didnt even offer a discount for all the inconveniences! I felt a little scamed!

Terrible. Their website says they take debit cards and when you go in they actually dont. There website says they have convertibles available, and when you arrive they inform you that they dont have convertibles at all! I called to try to find a car that was good for me and they promised they would call me back in a few hours and then they never did. Total waste of time, I will never try these guys again.

Excellent experience at Stop-N-Go! We called the office when we landed, and they picked us up within 5 minutes. Check out was fast and easy. This is a business run by two brothers, and they were very professional and accommodating. They even called us prior to our flight to make sure that they had our flight information correct. Highly recommend!
