Less than zeros stars. Unable to make online, phone and app reservations for vehicle lead to me having to call local office for reservation. Staff made reservation in the morning only to get a call mid-afternoon that no vehicles were available when it was confirmed earlier one was. Amazon$$$$$ came into conversation and for more money ditch your Gold customers for the cash. How mysterious no vehicles and the explanation was not justifiable. I find this exceptionally disturbing and being a early call before pickup was purely damage control. Out of a vehicle for weekend and will end up spending more to mitigate my circumstances.
If I could give this outlet zero stars I would. I arrived to return my car at 4:59pm and the doors were already locked. I waited at the doors for the employees to come out. They came out a 5:03pm. I told them I was there to return my car and they told me I was too late and would have to comeback tomorrow . I was not late. They were locked the doors too early. I will be returning the car tomorrow morning and I will be requesting the money back for the extra day that they will be charging me. I have the whole thing on video and will be filing complaints against the employees involved.Complete lack of care for their customers. Do not rent from here.EDIT: I returned my vehicle the next day and was greeted by Joe who apologised for the way everything was handled the day before. He did not charge me for the extra day and mentioned that it should have been handled differently. Im grateful to Joe for his professionalism and understanding of the situation that should have been so much easier for everyone involved. His manager (wouldnt give me his name) needs serious customer service training.
Original amount 400$ For 1 Day but was over charged 633$.I got full insurance from hertz and everything.I’ll keep renting from enterprise .

Don’t waste your time making a reservation here. I rent cars at least twice a month and decided to rent from this store for convenient location, but I was disappointed twice. First time I reserved a luxury car, but even if they have the car there, It wasn’t “COVID FREE”, so it would not be ready for me. The guy there told me that I did my reservation last minute so that’s why, I did, but today I did a reservation for a commercial van 4 hours in advance, the Hertz website let me do it and when I got there the guy told me I should make the reservation 2 days in advance. It’s a joke. If you don’t have it, your website should not let me get it. Because of that I lost $200 deposit that I put in advance to reserve some furniture. The only reason I will give 2 stars is because at least the front desk guy is proactive and patient and even the car washer guy is proactive as well. Otherwise I would give 1 star. I never have this problems with Enterprise. ;)
We just picked up a car here. Ashly was great and gave us wonderful service. She was so helpful. We had no trouble parking and the car was ready on time. They made sure to get us a minivan as requested.
Wow do NOT rent from these guys. Just trying to confirm a reservation and Jeffery couldn’t have been more rude or less helpful. He sent me to the wrong place saying he couldn’t help me knowing the office he sent me to was closed. Concerned I would be without a car I called right back and then he didn’t answer my call back. All I needed was to confirm my car. I had to use a different cell with a different number to call back so he would answer and he answered on the first ring. He mumbled and stuttered about how busy he was and when i asked if that was his best shot at customer service, he disconnected the call. I get it if it’s a bad day, but really. Just stay away from these guys they could care less about customers especially close to closing time.
Friendly people working there. The pickup was seamless. They patiently explained everything, answered all my questions and gave useful tips as well.
I never knew this small Hertz location was there at the Irvine auto center. Made it super convenient when I needed a car while my car was being repaired. They were super friendly and super fast. Pick me up at the dealer took me back to the Hertz location and I was out of there with my rental car within 5 minutes

We showed up at 5.40pm and it was closed even though they said they are open until 6pm
Some folks will complain about the system or the lack of specific models, but this is expected from a smaller Hertz office. What I want with the neighborhood Hertz is friendly service and just simply getting the job done. This office does this and from the conversations I heard when I picked up and returned, there are return customers which is nice to see.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS HEREAfter I was told daily rate when adding xtra day and having it confirmed THREE TIMES these thrives ripped me off anyway for more than $100. Google Hertz and youll see how TERRIBLE they are.
Horrible place to pick up or drop off no parking also horrible customer service. Aftter not being able to help me with my days needed they did not have the car I had reserved. Had toArgue with them . Manager is a JOKE. Would not go back to this place and definitely would never recommend this place to anyone.

The Chevy Equinox had 10k miles on it, but seemed to be in very good shape and drove well. We averaged 26.7 mpg. Vehicle did have a faint smoke odor. The location is small, but had a good selection. Small staff, so. Checkin took 5 mins longer than airport drop offs.
Needed advice on a an existing rental and got helped real fast and all my questions and concerns were answered.
Reserved a car weeks prior only to call to confirm 2 days before the trip that they did not have anything close to the type of vehicle I requested. They then tried to upsell me on a vehicle I did not need because it wasall they had. Not to mention it was almost double the price per day. The branch blamed it on the reservation department saying they were reserving cars they did not have. The reservation department blamed it on the branch by saying they werent updating their inventory. We were offered other vehicles for more money of course. I flat out refused to take anything other than what we reserved over a week prior. Miraculously the exact car we reserved just so happened to be returned the evening prior to us picking it up. Talk about undue stress days before a road trip just so the branch could try and upsell is. Watch out for that. Other than that, it was fast checking it and checking in with no other problems.
This is such a great Hertz location. They are small, but have a great selection of cars and the team there excels at customer service.
Nice little spot to grab a rental car when needed, they came and picked me up which is always a plus!

Used to be polite people working there, seems theyre gone. Location is awful, hard to find anywhere to park. 30 min to pick up then 30 min to drop off.
They never have the class of car that I reserve, they have to clean the car that I end up agreeing to, and today they gave me a car with a flat tire. Im no longer willing to pay 30% more for a car that doesnt meet my needs and waste 45 minutes doing it. Gold status isnt worth it, American Express.

We reserved a car from this location in March . When I went to pick up the car they said there is just one car available.the car was full of scratches and it was smelling so bad . I reserved a non smoker car but they said that is the only car available and they will give me a discount. Then they said when you turn the car on the engine will sound very bad and very loud so do not be scared.Making the story short I took the car and it kept sounding loud and terrible and smells very bad for whole week. When I returned the car they did not give me the discount either.I will never ever go to this location again and I do not recommend this place to anyone either. They are not very honest people .

Terrible experience. They had no available cars even though I had reserved a week back. Because of this I was not able to pick my parents up at the airport.The representative at the mission Viejo branch did not offer any alternatives or help. Definitely terrible customer service.
