Firestone complete auto care in Indio took great care of me. The staff was super friendly, Kevin and his crew were knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile to make sure my car was in tip shop shape before I left. I appreciated the open up front and honest dialogue about my cars actual situation, as I am mechanically inclined, I never enjoy having anything pulled over on me, and they did not try and do that here. Highly recommend Firestone complete auto care in Indio, talk to Kevin up front and the staff will get it done Quickly and done right! Last thing I will add, it is conveniently located right next to Arco gas station as well as steers bar-and-grill so you can stop in get some grub while they work on your car.

This is an honest, professional, courteous garage. I am grateful to have found them. Took my car here after I was suspicious that Pep Boys was ripping me off claiming I needed $900 in brake work. Firestone diagnosed the same problem and did the correct repairs for $340. Give them a try. I will trust them in the future.

I bought new tires from Firestone in Suisun City last week and had a good experience with the shop there. I’m now home in Indio. Yesterday afternoon I went to Firestone in Indio to inquire about having a wheel alignment and was told that the earliest appointment available is in two weeks! Really? Extremely disappointed. Went to Ramona Tire shop and got my alignment done in less than an hour. And the agent was much friendlier!

One of very few tire shops open around here on Sundays, and the only one who had my tire size in stock without having to special order. Great, friendly service! I only needed 1 tire but they aired up all my others too. Would go back!

Friendly service but took 3 hours and only changed 2 tires for 500$ kinda outrageous when not even a year ago I got 4 tires changed and it was around 300$

Do NOT take a vehicle here for mechanical service. They will destroy your vehicle and leave you car less for weeks and not care and try to leave it with the dealership to have them fix it because they can’t find the problem they broke.

Came in to have tire pressure checked. Although they appeared to be really busy, I was in and out in about 10 mins. They checked and filled all my tires at no charge. Thanks Firestone you guys are awesome!

Purchased and had tires installed at this shop. Had an extremely positive experience working with Kevin Lopez. Worked with Kevin to find tire options and quotes. Kevin was straight forward, informative and easy to work with. When I showed up for my appointment everything was delivered as described when I received my quotes. There was no push to up sell. Strongly recommend this location and also working with Kevin. Very happy with the smooth quite ride on my new tires.

UPDATE: we have received a refund for the TPMS issue (incorrectly charged because they didn’t actually do it). The manager called me himself to discuss the situation and was very kind and thorough. Since we are leaving for our road trip, he let me know that when I get to my destination I can take it into a Firestone to get the TPMS fixed and he will cover the costs. Although this day was very aggravating, I am updating my review to reflect the customer service we received afterwards.Will absolutely not get my car serviced here at this location again. I LOVE Firestone and have always gotten my car taken care of with this company. This was my first time at this location though and I would not recommend it. We made an appointment for 10am for 4 new tires, an alignment, and battery check. Upon arrival, we added on a vehicle inspection because we are heading out on a long road trip. After an hour and a half we were recommended to get new rear brake pads, so we agreed. After a lot of waiting and the technician breaking my TPMS sensors and valve, we were finally given our bill. The issue was we were there until 5pm. That’s 7 hours. My husband is a mechanic and these tasks should’ve never taken this long and wouldn’t have if the technician didn’t do damage during the process and need to order more parts. On the way home, my TPMS light went on and now we have to go back to get that checked out to make sure the new sensors are working correctly. This location is the closest one to us and is 1.25 hours away so we are absolutely not pleased about this.

I broke down hundreds of miles from my home. The Firestone staff were so nice. Store manager Al Boza was great explaining things for me and employee Melissa was wonderful. She drove me to a hotel where I had to stay while my car was repaired and picked me up when my car was done. I was so grateful for the help.

Did not offer an alignment when I bought full set of tires kind of misleading they ended the free alignment doesnt mention anywhere online anymore. I just find it odd it wasnt offered if needed? like ok Ill do it somewhere else

Took great care of my car, they even checked all the extras when i just came in for a balance and rotation. Wasnt needed but i appreciate the look as things can happen when not expected.

Surprised they even got 3 stars. Dropped off my car for a simple oil change. Was told it would be ready in about 2 hrs. Called after 2 hrs and was told to come in an hour. Went an hour and 15 minutes later and nothing was done. Too many oil change places to deal with this awful service.

Called for an alignment had a few question the service advisor didn’t bother answering me he just hung the phone up and tried calling again he answered the phone again and heard it was me and hung up again had my girlfriend call and now he decided to stay on the line going somewhere else for an alignment

If I could put zero stars I would... worse experience I’ve ever had, the fact that I made an appointment at 9:30am for tires, get in mind just only purchasing tires... my sister recommended me to go here but after what had I experienced I’ll never be a returning customer... it took 6 hours for my god damn tires !!!And when I had asked what was the hold up, the clerk couldn’t even find an excuse.. he then said it was because they didn’t have enough techs to work on my car.. idk if that’s an excuse but I’ll never come here ever again ..

Lousy.Alignment check appointment took over 2 hrs.No communication. Waited 45 min for them to drive it into the bay. Another 20 after they were finished to talk to me about it.Supposed to check the alignment then talk me about what was needed. Instead I waited 45 min for them to do anything, and then magically park it.Lousy. Nice staff, but just lousy.

Love this location, although its quite busy the staff is always friendly. If you have an appointment service is much faster, if you go in as a walk in you run the risk of terrible wait times.

Paid for an alignment done here last thing they said was well do the alignment and ill call if you have any other problems. they didnt, parts were rusted and grinding and because of that the alignment didnt stick now i have 1800 parts and labor (including another alignment) because they refused to tell me what else was wrong the mechanics here are either lazy or scandalous

Very very very disappointed and I highly recommend everyone not to go there, they charged me almost 5 Thousand dollars for front struts change and if you dont believe me Ive the receipts in hand, totally rip off.Never ever ever going there again!

Firestone put a battery in my car, the battery failed and they wanted to charge me 168.00 for a battery that was under warranty .When I questioned them they said thats what it would cost prorated. Not satisfied I went to the distributor they told me Firestone was wrong and would know that there was no charge. When a business flat out trys to cheat you out of money .They lose customers. The people they cheat and the people they tell.

They suck... You make an appointment at 4pm and they say it will be done by 5pm.. .. Its all bull s**t... My truck is still sitting in the parking lot at 5pm... Just cause i got life time alignment and not paying, they put other car or truck that pay in front of me... Whats the point of making an appointment.....

We broke down outside Indio on the I10. After a 3hr wait for a tow we were delivered to Firestone. The team here treated us like honored guests. They went out of their way to accomodate us. They gently informed us that our engine had blown. They gave us ample time to make a decision. After consideration we decided to trade vehichle in for a new one. This team was so dedicated they let us know of a local car company that had a special going on VW of the Desert. Happily VW took care of us and we were back on the road in no time. Thanks again. Quoted 1.5 hours at drop-off, actual service time was over 3 hours. Careless techs start and tighten lug nuts with impact gun, Ill need to redo them with my torque wrench. I wanted them to take the old tire with the most remaining tread and mount it on the spare, unfortunately my spare is a 14 inch instead of 15 inch, but they didnt tell me that, they would have let me leave having paid for 5 tire mountings when they only had done 4 if I hadnt checked the spare. Customer service was decent, and there was free, albeit slow, wi-fi.

NEVER AGAIN!!!Went in because car was overheating. They did 2 different inspections (I had to pay for both.) and replace the entire coolant system because it was brown and fixed the air conditioning. Ok cool 👌 $600.Then our battery dies soon after. Luckily it was under warranty at AutoZone and got a new one free. AZ told us if this one dies, it is the alternator. So it died again and we purchased a refurbished alternator from AutoZone and put it in.2 weeks later car is still overheating, we were reluctant but took it back to Firestone. They said the engine/coolant system has a lot of junk and dirt in it (AGAIN) and they lied and told me my husband omitted to them that he had use leakstop on the car. We never touched anything except the alternator. Firestone said they will have a deeper look at the issue. This was last night and this morning husband gets a call with attitude saying You going to pick up your car or what?? And that there was nothing that can be done about it and to take it to an engine shop.This is the worst few days of our lives. The original leak/leak stop should have been caught the first time we went in during the original inspection. We paid all this money into fixing it when the original problem should have been caught and dealt with.NEVER AGAIN with the incompetence.

BUYER BEWARE Firestone in Indio practices BAIT & SWITCH sales tactics. I went online and looked up my tire size. The first selection was for PZ900 tires with a buy 3 get one free deal, low priced. I got the online quote and was prompted to call for an appointment for installation. The Tire Specialist stated that the model I was quoted was discontinued and he would not honor the quote I received 5 minutes prior but he was willing to make me a deal on this, that or the other.... I called firestone corporate. The Lady who helped me called the warehouse and was informed that the PZ900 was NOT discontinued and was in stock. She called the Indio store and was given the same BAIT & SWITCH story I was told . When she identified herself the salesman started back pedaling saying he heard they were going to be discontinued etc. I was assured that the stores district manager would be contacting me to resolve the issue. He never called. I called the Lady at corporate again, she escalated it again higher up, still to this day I have never received a call. Complaints have been filed with Firestone, the BBB and the Calif Dept of Consumer Affairs who prompted me to file a case with the California Attorney Generals office. The District Manager Brian finally called me. I stated my case. He walked over to a computer and checked the Indio stores inventory and said he could not see the warehouse inventory and would call me back. He called back in a few mins and stated that the PZ900 WAS discontinued but he would make me the same deal on the model that was Replacing the Max performance model with the touring version which has a significantly lower price. He said he would see if he could find any PZ900s and call me back. I took it upon myself to find them. I located a set of 4 in Hesperia and put a hold on them since the Hesperia store was in the same sales District. I texted Brian the info, he said he would look into it and has not contacted me since. Every day I go to the Firestone site and put in my zip code and tire size, the same quoted offer comes up.... BAIT & SWITCH CONTINUES
