Advanced Restoration & Waterproofing did a GREAT job encapsulating our crawlspace. Sales rep Marty M. was respectful, professional, always available, and answered all questions. Alan and his crew were good about explanations, keeping us informed of their progress, and the daily clean-up was appreciated. Getting all our needs (for mold remediation, insulation replacement, electrification, dehumidifier, two sump pumps, gutter drain extensions, and more) met by one contractor was a time and effort saving blessing. The cost was MUCH less than competitors who advertise heavily and offer coupons and ‘deals’ in our area. Marty said they would care for us, and they did. I feel relief at knowing our home is now more functional and safe. Five star service!

Last summer I had Advanced Restoration provide me a proposal to repair my crawlspace which was affordable and with a lifetime warranty. Marty, the Estimator was very helpful, took pictures and described what needed to be done. He was laid back and its refreshing to have someone who comes from help instead of trying sell me something. All the crew was very helpful, informative keeping me apprised of the progress and work. Every day they did a wonderful job of cleaning up, especially since my crawlspace access is in the garage. At completion, the Installers sat down with me and described everything they had done with great detail. Also, a superb job of clean at the end of the job in the crawlspace. We purchased a house that has a drainage and Gorilla Brace system installed by ARW back in 2012 and the previous owners hadnt noticed that the braces were starting to move. We called Mike at ARW and he sent his estimator out to look at them. He agreed that some things hadnt been done properly so Mike sent Matts crew out to correct the issues under warranty, almost 9 years after the initial job! This company stands behind their warranty when others wont.

I had Advanced Restoration out to estimate what it would take to shore up the foundation of a house I bought. Rather than try and sell me Marty suggested I give it a few months to see if it was still shifting since I had had tuckpointing recently done. He was right no active shifting is occurring thus saving me money. When I get an egress window put in I will definitely reach out to them again. Highly recommended!

We needed this done pretty quickly and other companies we had contacted were all booked up. This work was requested for a real estate transaction and ultimately was not performed. However, I would be remiss not to share how highly impressed I was by this companys response. I initially spoke with the owner, Mike Bird. Our timeline to receive estimates was extremely short. Mike was able to schedule quickly an examination of the property. Martin Mainzer was the inspector. I spoke with him by phone and my sister and brother-in-law met Marty at the property. When I spoke to him, his knowledge was extensive, and he understood the issue. Upon meeting Marty, my sister and brother-in-law were equally impressed with his ability to assess and clearly explain the problem and the solution. He went above and beyond in finishing his very thorough bid under tight turn-around times. I cannot stress enough how complete Martys bid was. We felt the price for the work to be completed was fair. Other issues with the real estate transaction did not result in us using Advanced Restoration & Waterproofing, but I felt the high-quality of professionalism and expertise demonstrated by this company deserved a high recommendation for other customers consideration.

I liked the entire operation, the way they do business at Advanced Restoration and Waterproofing. Moles are causing drainage and erosion issues and if eliminating them does not work I plan to hire Advanced. I did research on several other drainage companies that gave me estimates and they specialize in drainageThey are bonded, and insured against damage to underground utility lines as well as workmen’s injury, etc. They also guarantee their work which many small scale operators don’t. Long story short, if you go, as I often have in the past, with a lower quote…… the final invoice is above the initial estimate (low balled), plus the re-do to get it right, and the risk of damage to an underground cable (cost) will more than offset (exceed) the initial quote from Advanced. The best only costs a ‘dime’ more. Very professional all around.

I am an older senior and my husband is 18 years older than me. Since I am more familiar with houses, issues and know how to ask many questions, I handle issues that arise.When I saw a little water weeping into our unfinished basement concrete block and onto the floor a little, I decided to call and get estimates for waterproofing companies. Our home is a ranch built in 1968. I was looking for bids for a partial system and open to recommendations for our basement floor as our full south wall and 2 feet on either side are done already.Several from Angies list responded quickly within 1 or 2 days. Five or six, I believe, were interested. Two were unknown to me and not considered.I received estimates from 2 well-known bigger companies, 2 bids from better known (I think) companies, and 1 bid from an individual. One of those, though, the inspector was sick, so it took 3 business days (and a weekend) to receive an estimate.The company that I chose and impressed me through Angie’s list (“pop up company”) was Marty of Advanced Restoration Waterproofing, who responded same day. We also communicated the next day, and he came out the following day.Marty listened to me, and we discussed our immediate needs, not more or less. He spent a lot of time with me. On the third after after contacting Angie’s List, he gave me an email proposal, their company pledges, Certificate of Liability, and many references. I called a couple of them. One of them said that two others in his neighborhood used Advanced Restoration and were very happy. Those I called were happy customers.Once I received his proposal and I had my wits more in line to concentrate on all the information that I had received, I reviewed his proposal later. Marty, Advanced Restoration was so responsive to my questions, as another I was interested in. But, Marty is confident in what his company does, and he recommended I call Mike Bird, the owner, who would explain any questions to me, and for me to go to their website to review photos, etc.OMGosh, they have so many pictures on there, you surely will find all the things you want to see about the job they are going to do for you! I could not find those kinds of pictures on some other companies websites! He priced us on 25 lineal feet of french drain, sump pump (5 year ltd. warranty) with a battery backup, and sump pit basin with up to 15-20 feet discharge piping, etc.Well, after looking at pictures and several questions, he offered to come out again, and we discussed everything in detail and to answers any remaining questions, and discharge options. While we were talking I decided that I needed more lineal feet. Marty revised the proposal, the price was good, I signed a contract and paid deposit to them to do the work.Based on Marty and Advance Restoration’s responsiveness and communication, I would give them a Five (5) Star.Well, that’s it for this beginning review. I will have to update this review once the project is done.

As a realtor who works with a ton of contractors, I was SO impressed by how efficient this group is! I called Marty and he was out looking at a home with me the next day. Theyre thorough, knowledgeable, and understanding!

When I was in the process of purchasing my home in 2018, the inspector found major foundation issues. My realtor recommended ARW, and i could not be happier. The sellers could not afford the work out-of-pocket, but Mike Bird and the team at ARW were willing to be flexible with the payment schedule, thus allowing the process to move forward. They did an extensive amount of work, basically replacing 2/3 of the exterior foundation in addition to work in the crawlspace. We had an independent, certified structural engineer evaluate the completed work who found everything completed safely and according to code. Fast forward to 2020, we are now selling our home. The inspector found something this time that he felt should be reevaluated. ARW stood by their warranty and quickly sent somebody out to inspect and address the (very minor) issue. Thanks to ARW, I have now had two successful transactions on this home that would not have been possible without them. I am especially thankful that Mike Bird, the owner, took control of this job personally and corresponded with me directly to satisfy all parties involved. I would highly recommend this company to anyone that wants to work with true professionals that stand behind their quality work.

Marty was able to go out to the property the same day and get me all the info needed and what it would take to correct any existing issues with the foundation. As a single female, I was very concerned about finding someone that would fix my basement water problem fairly. Mike, the owner, came out himself to access the problem. He thoroughly explained the issue in a manner which was easy to understand. The next day I received a written estimate with detailed pictures as to what had failed. One company even suggested that my husband just dig out the window well himself. Very insulting as I have no husband. The 3rd company cost just as much but wanted to do 1/2 the work. We unused ARW a couple of years ago to deal with a flooded basement. ARW did the job for a great price and did exactly what was needed. ARW was a pleasure to deal with and I will use them again in another home we are having issues with. A great company with great people.

I hired this company to install a french drain in the back of my yard. There is a hill behind me and the grade from the house made the water collect in a swamp with nowhere to go. They did a great job of trenching out the entire width of that area, added perforated pipe with a filter cloth and gravel, them replacing the topsoil. They put a well with a sump pump at the end and tubing to pump the water out to the front of the house so it would go into the drainage system. Mike Jr., Brandon Powers, Eric Lawhon and Mike Houtchins were the team of workers and did a great job cleaning up afterwards also. It was a pretty large project but it only took them two days to complete. I am very happy with the results and highly recommend them.

Im very happy with the work that I had ARW do in my basement. We needed a sump installed, as well as about 15 of a basement waterproofing system trenched in. Somehow, the guys managed to remove the floor with a gas saw and jackhammer, install the systems, and mix/pour new concrete in my basement without making or leaving behind a huge mess. I was impressed. The work was quick and efficient and I appreciated the professional attitude of everyone involved in the project. We were in a situation where were moving, had two house payments and an upcoming wedding, when we had a mold test come back positive in the basement of the house we were attempting to sell during the inspection process. So, rather than having to perform an expensive total basement remediation, we came to an agreement with the buyer that saved us money and kept our home sale on track. The two other companies that had looked at it prior threw 5 to 7 grand figures at us, using our fear and our inexperience against us, so we more than appreciated Martins honesty and his advice. If we ever have a need to have moisture or restoration services performed, I will go back to Advanced Restoration and Waterproofing every time. ARW, (Marty) was quick to get out to assess our basement flooding. He gave us advise on our situation and was able to help us pinpoint the problem. We ended up having a leaking pipe so were unable to pass business their way to due the source of the problem being out of their jurisdiction. After a little research, found this company uses top of footing system which have been proven to be ineffective and will deteriorate your foundation over time. Cheap plastic. With a little more research you can also find history of so called waterproofing companies this same owner has had in the past that are now non existent, leaving home owners with warranties/guarantees that are worthless!!

Very happy customer here. They fixed a leak in my basement at the beginning of summer. As luck would have it, the leak sprung up in the same spot. I called on a Saturday and actually spoke to the owner. He advised me that he would have someone out to look at it ASAP.The guy that came to the house was very professional and nice. He found and fixed the issue and told me that they stood by their work and it was no charge.I have to admit, I was worried that I was going to be billed again but they stood by their work and did not try to say that it was a different issue and therefore billable. In my experience, that is rare and should be rewarded with repeat business.

ARW did a great job of being persistent through the process of waterproofing my basement. They came back to fix a leak that ended up being caused by a clogged gutter; there was also an issue with a leaky pipe, but the issue was fixed via a couple of trips. I had this done before a very rainy Spring (of 2015), and my basement system held up without issues. The bottom line is that the company understands that customers have to be successful in order to gain additional business. I highly recommend ARW.

I would highly recommend ARW for any waterproofing/ foundation repair work needed. If there were more than 5 stars available, I would rate them 6 stars due to the service I received. In our recently purchased home, the support concrete beam under the house was failing and a new steel beam needed to be installed in its place. ARWs team did an excellent job with a difficult task, working in a small crawl space to get this done. They were professional and well versed in this work and the end result was perfect. There are a lot of companies out there that claim they can do this type of foundation repair work, but I am really happy I decided on ARW for this project as I doubt it could have been done any better.
