This review is long overdue as I have been seeing Dr. Reese for years. I found him because I had years of trouble with decay and repairs that I wasn’t happy with. After my first crown, which was on a front tooth, I became self conscious of my smile. I started looking for someone who didn’t use mercury amalgams in their practice and who was a cosmetic dentist. Both were equally important to me. Dr. Reese fits the bill to the max! I had also developed dental anxiety which Dr. Reese has slowly over the years helped me to be a lot less so. I remind myself that he has NEVER hurt me, even though he has had to be extremely creative in getting/keeping me numb. His office is great and everyone there will do everything they can to make you comfortable. Because of Dr. Reese I LOVE to smile again! Thank you.

Really enjoyed my experience at the Indianapolis Dentistry office. Office staff is very nice and welcoming, and the office is very cozy feeling from the minute you walk in.Loved Dr. Reese because he took the time to actually explain everything that was happening and (would eventually) need done while addressing the highest priority issues, respecting the somewhat tight dental budget I currently have.I will definitely be a returning patient and refer anyone who is typically fearful of the dentist experience!

I had horrible mouth health for years due to a dentist phobia. When I broke a tooth, I went to Dr. Reese for a quote, then a chain dentist for a second opinion. Dr. Reese came in thousands of dollars cheaper and was able to get everything done in 1 procedure, whereas their competitor needed 5 visits at two locations. Dr. Reese was able to save all the rest of my teeth, but the chain dentist wanted to take 6. The interval between consultation and procedure was very fastI had an implant stud installed and major cleaning, filling and reinforcement, and the entire process was painless and not stressful at all. The following day, there was almost no pain and almost no bleeding. From the second day on my mouth felt great.The outcome of Dr. Reeses treatment could not be better. The implant is such a good match that today the hygienist did not even realize it wasnt mine at first. They use and recommend a new product, ioRinse molecular iodine mouthwash, as part of their gingivitis regimen, and believe me, this stuff is amazing. Wipes out coronavirus as well.Following Dr. Reeses treatment plan, I have gone from hiding my teeth and dreading the dentists office to smiling freely with my cleaner, healthier teeth. My chronic sinus infections have ceased as well.At every visit, they clearly explain what they are seeing and evaluate my progress. The staff here are highly competent, gentle and calming. The atmosphere of the office is welcoming and positive. You will feel well taken care of. They really care about patients dental health and comfort. A bonus for the gentlemen--all the women who work here are beautiful.If you have failing teeth from an aversion to dental work and youre ready to turn it around, look no further.

I am so happy that I found this office! I have TMJ, but waivered over spending the money on an office visit and an appliance. Finally I decided to make the leap and see someone. I was in a lot of pain, but dreaded spending the money...and what if it didnt help... That was my mindset. Well I did something right when I found Dr. Reese. I am so much better. No pain! Ive been in pain for years and it was just getting worse. The number one thing Im over the moon about...I can yawn! I havent been able to yawn in years! 💞

It’s only a little over 2 hours from Evansville, and they were fantastic!!!!! Such sweet ladies & a GREAT dentist!! Well worth the drive!

I went here due to positive reviews and I am not disappointed. The staff is wonderful, Dr. Reese and Dr.Gambil are beyond excellent. I had 4 teeth pulled and bone grafts put in the repair damage on my front upper teeth. I have a temporary bridge until the healing process is done. A permanent bridge will be placed then. They have been gone above and beyond. I still have yet to be in pain from my procedure and the temporary they placed while healing occurs elicited emotional responses from me and my family. I can not say enough good things about this office. If you need restorative or cosmetic or any dental services do yourself a favor and go see Dr. Reese and Dr. Gambil. My family and I are new to the practice. As a mom, I appreciate not feeling pressured into any treatment or new device. Ive been looking for a dentist I can trust, since moving to the Indy area in 2007. I feel as though I have found just that. I do not feel as though Dr. Reese is pushing any specific treatment on myself or my kiddos. This helps me to trust his opinion. I love that this is a family dental practice, which allows me to go back to the room with my children as needed.

The office is very friendly and knowledgeable. We had been looking for a holistic dentist and they are worth the drive (3 hours) every 6 months because they do a fantastic job. Very natural minded people. I would highly recommend them, they are worth the drive!

Dr. Reese and his staff were amazing! I was told by 2 other dentists that my 9 year old needed a root canal for a very deep cavity in her molar and I sought out a 3rd opinion. Dr. Reese recommended we try a pulp cap since my daughter is only 9 and he didn’t want to kill the nerve if we could possibly heal it. This is exactly what I was waiting to hear! I was also thrilled to learn he uses ozone therapy during the procedure. (The other dentists had no clue what I was talking about when I mentioned ozone) My daughter took the nitrous like a champ and it was a quick and painless procedure for her. She did not experience any pain afterwards. She was a bit tired, but resumed her activities as normal. I highly recommend Dr. Reese. He and his wonderful staff totally calmed our dental fears. Upon entrance to the office I was impressed with the warmth and beauty of the reception room. Very inviting and friendly. Checking in with the receptionist was very simple and Cassie, was courteous, kind and professional.My appointment was at 11 and I was in the dentist chair at exactly that time which is a rarity for most other dentists that I have seen. The service proved by both Dr. Reese and his assistants was again very professional and at the same time, very friendly.The process of hearing the entire treatment and payment plan went very smoothly and gave me the opportunity to make various decisions about the course of and time of my treatment.I highly recommend this dental service for any who are in need of such.

-TORI REMOVAL- My husband had a condition called dental tori (a bony growth along his inner jaw line). This was painful at times. Our dentist, Dr. Reese, explained the importance of removing the tori, the procedure and what to typically expect. We were a bit concerned about having the procedure done, but felt very confident & safe in the hands of Dr. Reese and his team. We are convinced that with Dr. Reeses experience and technique for removing the tori gave my husband every advantage for the GREAT Results he received. There was very little discomfort/pain during the recovery period. He didnt even use the pain meds prescribed. The area is very smooth, just like there was never a problem. The best part of my experience was feeling genuinely cared for by each and every individual that I interacted with from reception to hygienist to Dr Reese to checkout. I have been totally impressed by the professionality of this office. It is probably the most coordinated team approach that I have experienced. I work in health care where that is considered the norm, but this went above that. This is a business and they obviously have certain criteria they need to meet - scheduling, time management, patient flow, billing, etc - but I always felt comfortable with the amount of personal attention I received. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Ive never written a bad review about any business, so this is a first. I would have to agree with some of the other reviewers who posted previously. While Dr. Reese is amazing, the office gives misinformation and overcharges for services. I asked two different woman at their office for an itemized receipt on the day of my visit and was not given one (which I thought was very suspicious). I was told after running my insurance that my portion was X amount. I agreed to pay that day and was told I was good to go. They said see you in 6 months. Then a month later I receive an itemized bill (finally) stating I owe even more money. When I called their office the lady said oh no, those are just automatically generated and we are probably waiting on your insurance to pay something. If you get a check, send it to us. However, they already knew my insurance pays them directly and not me. At a previous visit they told me I had to pay everything up front and my insurance would reimburse me. Well I found out later (from my insurance company) that not only did I pay them but so did my insurance. They got paid twice. They did not catch this or send me a check until I contacted them about it. I explained all of this again and the lady said just not to worry about the paper I received in the mail that it was automatically sent out and didnt imply I needed to pay more. Then a few weeks later a different lady calls and says that actually I owe all of that. I told them that I already paid my portion when I was in the office and that they told me that was all I owed. It makes sense now that I didnt receive an itemized receipt at the time. It all seems very shady. Of course, insurance will not cover a basic cleaning exam and x-rays when the charges are around $600!! If I had received an itemized receipt the day of the appointment, I would have known the charges would be 2 or 3 times more than the average Indianapolis dentist. I expressed my concerns and was told Ill let the office manager know. As great as Dr. Reese seemed, I would avoid this office due to the lack of accurate information and confusing communication with their staff.

My first visit was all that I had hoped for and more! It was easy to get an appointment (I was able to email the staff which is great for me as I am unable to use the phone during the work day.) I was able to fill out the paperwork online easily. When I arrived, the staff was friendly and professional. I had little wait time. The doctor was knowledgeable and thorough, and took time to answer my questions. He even lingered and asked if there was anything else I wanted to know or ask him. When the doctor was finished, the office staff printed out my entire treatment plan with the exact amount of the procedures and the amount my insurance would pay. The best part is that this office is a biologic dentist. If you care about your long-term health and prefer functional/complimentary medicine over conventional medicine practices, this is the place for you.

After 20 years of being with the same dentist(who was very good), I decided I wanted to go more holistic with my dental care. I wanted to get my mercury amalgams removed, but I knew that it needed to be done by a holistic dentist who knew exactly what he was doing when it comes to removing toxic mercury from my mouth. I am so very pleased with the excellent care I have received since starting with Dr. Reese a few months ago. He, along with his wonderful, caring and kind staff are the best!! No Pain, but Lots of GainI am highly recommending Dr. Reese and his Team at the Indianapolis Dentistry for Mercury Removal. Theyre the best. During the procedure there was absolutely no pain, and in one week after having the Mercury removed, The Arthritis in my spinal column was gone, and the Rheumatoid Arthritis in my fingers was diminishing. I have more movement in my fingers. Who wouldve thought, that going to the Dentist would cure something that Medical Doctors say there is no cure for.

I have been trying to find help for my son with mouth issues since 2012. He either has allergies or some other crazy thing in his mouth where he gets an infection that has his skin eaten off mouth. This is a 3 week event, where he can’t eat anything he is in so much pain. This past month, my son was googling trying to find some one who could help him. He came across the fabulous Dr Reese. We visited him with my sons mouth inflamed & even though he had never seen anything like this before he was willing to try & so we’re we. He thought oxygenating his blood & putting this back in him might kill the virus. Guess what-My son felt 100% better the next day. When we moved to Indianapolis in 2007 we tried several different dentists and were not pleased with the level of care we received. Dr. Reese came recommended through a friend my husband met in South Africa who had gone to school with him at IU. His office is very clean and welcoming. His hygienists are friendly and professional. He is current on new procedures but doesnt jump on the bandwagon just because it is a new way of doing the procedure. I would have no hesitation recommending him to my friends and acquaintances.

Additionally, they discovered that my previous dentist had done poor quality work, and had caused me to develop a new cavity, to my great dismay... Fortunately, Dr. Reese is extremely knowledgable and takes pride in his work.. I will be traveling long distance to see them again for my next appointment after realizing how important it is to have a dentist you can trust. VISITING DR. TED REESE WAS A LIFE CHANGING EXPERIENCE! I have struggled with my oral health all my life. Ive been through almost every imaginable situation someone can go through, when it comes to my mouth. Im 40 years old and Ive had everything thing from 8 root canals, 6 extracted teeth, a upper smile of veneers, and a dozen crowns. After waking up to my front tooth breaking off at the root. Then not but a week later the tooth next to it breaking off as well.....it was time for a change. Keep in mind that my oral health started putting a huge burden on my physical and mental health. I was having horrible anxiety and my diet was poor. Ive had discussions with a handful of dentists. Ive been proposed with a number of evaluations. Dr Ted Reese and his staff couldnt have been any more sensitive to my needs. To begin with my first appointment I was greeted with a personal message on a sign welcoming me as a new patient.(its the little things.) Ive never had a better experience with a office. Ive had a number of procedures completed by Dr. Reese from filling replacements, crowns, emergency root canals, to tooth implants. I wouldnt characterize these as pleasant however NONE of these procedures were at all painful and the results were always good. Ive been a patient here for over 10 years and have never considered changing dentists.

Teds is an amazing dentist and a really caring doctor. I drive 30 minutes to his practice because his standard of care is worth it.

The staff here is so rude it makes my head want to explode. They will move my appointment around (even day of) but when I accidentally missed an appointment (I believed it was for the next day) I was called up and chewed out by a snotty receptionist. Even after I apologized (though Im not entirely certain that they were not the ones who made the mistake) this woman remained short with me and ended the call. I already have extreme anxiety around the dentist (which was why I was willing to pay nearly $5,000 to be sedated for a teeth cleaning) and this phone call left me in tears. I was going to tough it out and try to go anyway, but later that night I had a panic attack and layed in bed tossing and turning in anticipation of my now rescheduled appointment. I wasnt able to sleep until I decided I would just cancel. And today, when my husband called to cancel for me (maybe Im being a baby, but I dont want to cry while on the phone with this rude woman) they said theyll be charging me $55. I will never give them any more business.

I had horrible teeth and was super embarrassed when I found Dr Reese. When I arrived for my first appointment and seen my name on the new patient board welcoming me I found that to nice and even, strangely enough, a little calming. I first met Heather at the front desk and she was super nice. Im a very good judge of character and was expecting a false niceness if that makes sense, but it was all genuine! Next was the dental assistant, Beth (I hope that was her name. Remember I was there for the first time and super nervous) and she took me back and got me ready. I immediately told her my teeth were bad and it was mostly my fault for not taking care of them which she instantly told me I was not the only one and I had taken a big step by being in their office that day. She continued to calm me and took away my embarrassment. She was awesome. She shared with me things about her family and asked about mine. Not at all what I was expecting. Dr. Reese was amazing. He is a highly educated man but can explain things to a point where anyone can understand. He kept me informed of everything he was doing as well as making sure I was ok and not in pain the whole time. The only 2 shots I felt were at the roof of my mouth which he warned me about before he did it. As for the rest, I NEVER felt them. Any of them! I have no clue how thats even possible. He would kind of gently shake my cheek before the shots, I think but like I said I never felt them. I knew I got them with the numbness that accompanies them lol. These people genuinely care about their patients and that blows me away. They dont act like its a business at all (which it is). It felt like I personally knew people with a dentistry and they were the ones taking care of me. Im just simply amazed at Dr. Reese and his entire staff.

This was the absolute best experience Ive EVER had in my life when it comes to dental treatment. I hadnt been to a dentist in years, because of horrible experiences in my past, which led to cavities, bone loss, decay and other dreadful things in my mouth that made me too embarrassed to smile with my teeth showing because I was simply ashamed of my dental hygiene. I brushed and flossed and used mouthwash twice a day but without going to the dentist to get professional tartar and plaque cleanings it wasnt gonna do enough. But I was simply too terrified to go. But I had to go. Wisdom tooth wasnt gonna let me slide by without professional help, among other things. I scoured the choices and I saw Ted Reese D.D.S. and their perfect score rating on google. I read some testimonials and decided to give them a shot. I am so glad I did! They are the most caring and understanding people Ive ever dealt with. Always making sure if I was ok, felt ANY pain at all during my treatment and would make sure I didnt feel any discomfort while they worked on my teeth. I HIGHLY recommend anyone to come here and you will not be unhappy with your choice! I feel its my responsibility to share my patient story to help others. It reflects my experience related to TMJ only & other patients can decide themselves whether I was recommended expensive but wrong treatment due to incompetency in TMJ area or need of financial benefit.I did consultation with the Dr. Reese here and was suggested to wear a VERY expensive Occlusal guard for like a year. The mouth guard cost was about $2,000 and they claimed that it’s a unique mouth guard which is constructed in their own clinics and cant be made anywhere else.They didn’t give any guarantee and admitted that my TMJ case was not typical since I was able to open my mouth in accepted benchmarks. Nonetheless, I was given the same treatment plan as others which was to wear a very expensive mouth guard 24/7 for like a year and have laser therapy done but there was not guarantee that it would help. Noticeably, there was no x-ray or exam done to assess my situation and the treatment plan was based on what Dr saw from his eyes. When I asked the office staff whether I could just get the laser therapy without the mouth guard, their response was, it would not help since its like getting physical therapy without wearing crutches.Fortunately, one of our family friends who works as a dentist in another country, suggested me physical therapy. My physical therapist at ATI was very confident that it was muscular pain and not real TMJ issue. I felt much better after getting therapy for several weeks. Fortunately, I was also referred by a colleague to ‘Sadler Orthodontics’ in Fishers. I found them to very honest and patient-centric. Dr Sadler does free assessment and doesn’t charge a dime until the treatment starts. He was able to find the root cause of my muscular pain which was causing TMJ pain. In short, I agree with another user that we must get several opinions before actual treatment.Also, the best doctors start with non-invasive & least expensive treatment. However, in this case, it was not the case.

Charged over one thousand dollars for apiece of plastic mouthpiece which i wore faithfully did absolutley nothing for tmj... dont waste your money at this place and they are very expensive too it seems they were more concerned with money than actually fixing your problem
