I was referred to meridian dental and I must say they are very professional, kind, and cool lol. Was very skeptical about even going to the dentist even though I needed to go and meridian dental made that experience very comfortable

I went to meridian dental because I was having excruciating pain in my tooth. I wasn’t sure what they were going to find 😬. Well I needed a whole crown 🙃 and my insurance didn’t cover the crown. At this point I felt defeated because I didn’t have $700 to spend. I went to the front desk all somber and Connie smiled at me and said why are you so sad. I told her or my teeth & financial woes and she said there was another option outside of self pay. She applied for the care credit and in less than 10 min I was scheduled for my crown. It was a blessing and the front office staff is PHENOMENAL good vibes professional and all around good people. I love my dentist she is my first Latina dentist and that representation is important.

I have always had an exceptional experience at Meridian dental. The staff is so friendly, professional and ensure that the customers are comfortable. You will never have to question your expenses because Christina and Connie will give you a personalized plan that will suit your immediate needs. This place allows you to be 15 minutes late good thing but they will have you waiting for a half hour after your appointment. They act like they are so busy when they really arent FYI consider a different place they arent professional here at all.

I have been with this dentistry a long time (watched it change hands) and I love everyone there. The receptionists are wonderful, and advocate for the patient in a way that touches my heart. The dentists are kind and amazing. I had to get a crown replaced, which is no fun, but I walked away knowing that I was taken care of in every way. I love how diverse their practice is too. I do not give perfect scores, because no experience is perfect, but I have to give this place 5 because of the people. There can be waits, and teeth stuff is never pleasant, but if you are looking for a wonderful practice to take your family, this is it.

I really like this dentist office I was in very good hands the place was very clean and on time with my appointment I had Dr. G and she was very good also my dental assistant was Maggie and she was great also Ms.Connie walked me through my plan I’m definitely telling everyone about Meridian Dental very nice place.

Right in the initial visit they prepare a comprehensive dental care plan so you know what to expect and can choose which services you would like to prioritize. I usually am very hesitant to leave bad reviews for a place. I just found my experience with this dental office unshakeable. Never have I gone to a more unprofessional and dirty dental office. For example/ the waiting room chairs are visibly dingy and worn down. I didn’t really want to even sit down because of how noticeably dirty the fabric was. Like to the point where they were originally blue but now they are almost black .The receptionists are incredibly loud and very unprofessional. They shout to talk to patients and everyone in the waiting room can hear your conversation. I heard one of them talking in depth about the drugs she’s on for her own personal situation. I should not be able to hear this from the other side of the waiting room.As I was creating my appointment and getting information explained to me, the receptionist was so loud that other people were able to hear my name/DOB/and address. When I came back for my appointment, While one receptionist was having a private conversation with a patient about her treatment plan, the other called me up to loudly discuss my personal information. I was able to hear all the health information of the patient standing next to me and their conversation. I’m pretty sure this is illegal.The dentist himself was good and very personable. It is unfortunate that he has to work here.the technician was OK, but could dress more clean and professional, and did not seem to have a lot of confidence in her position.The dentist room was very old and outdated with outdated technology. My jaw almost dropped when she lead me to the room, and I had to compose myself not to run the other way. I’ve never seen a more outdated looking/old/overused dental space. For example, The chair you lay on was ripped up with the innards exposed— you’re supposed to lay on that old chair with no cover paper while they work on you. Again, technology seemed outdated compared to other offices I’ve been to.After my appointment, the receptionist loudly shouted prices at me for treatment, where everyone in the room could hear what I would be getting and how much it would cost. She did not seem to want to give me the time of day to think about costs or suggest appointment times. It was like she was rushing me through to get to the next person, and the unprofessional way in which she presented the costs was as if she was expecting me to not want to pay the costs for my treatment . She was being matter of fact and demeaning.When I asked questions about adding sedatives, she responded, WELL THATS 245$ SO?!” -again as if I wasn’t going to accept the treatment due to the cost. She did the same thing when I inquired about orthodontist/getting braces. “WELL YOUR INSURANCE DOESNT COVER THAT SO?!??” like yes lady, obviously most dental insurances don’t cover braces?I would definitely get treatment here to see the doctor again, because the doctor was the only good thing about this visit, however I was so taken aback by the non updated atmosphere/lack of technology/and poor professionalism in this office that I refuse to spend any more additional money here.I understand for the population that they serve that they have to be assertive and direct— but there’s a fine line between ratchet/unprofessional and assertive& direct. For all the money they make forcing “therapy cleaning treatment”, they should at least be able to steam their furniture if not purchase new altogether..

I was VERY HAPPY with the service today. I called to schedule an appointment because I was having severe tooth pain do to me not having regular checkups as a cause of me being ashamed being that it had been close to 20 years since I have been to the dentist. They were able to get me in the same day and I was in and out within 2 hours. They staff was VERY helpful and understanding!I HIGHLY recommend this facility to anyone who needs dental Care!!!

Amazing Experience, I had a painful tooth for two days called in at 8:30 they asked if I wanted a 9 or a 10:00 o’clock appointment. Got there at 9:45 and was done at 10:30 with my tooth pulled. They also worked with me on price as I didn’t have insurance so it was overall very cheap! Will be back in the future

Worst dental experience of my entire life. Went for a routine dental filling and during the process of the filling my dental specialist (was the same age as me and probably straight out of school) kept leaving the room to deal with another patient that was being a menace. This probably happened 3-4 times over the course of the 3hrs I was in the chair for my fillings.Exactly 2 weeks from my appointment date I began having excruciating discomfort on the right side of my face almost as if someone was hitting me with a baseball bat. I go in for a emergency reevaluation and the lady tells me my bite is off. She refers me to another specialist just in case and he determines the cavity was drilled too deep which killed my dental pulp and its now infecting my sinuses. $1,500 out of pocket and a root canal later Im pain free thankfully. THEN a few weeks later receive a bill from the emergency visit I had from the MISTAKE the dentist made while drilling my cavity.Meridian Dental Center didnt bother to offer any help with any of these issues and wouldnt even cover the cost of the crown following the emergency root canal. This place is a dental patients nightmare. Avoid at all costs!!!!!

I go here for vision. It’s close to downtown but has a convenient parking lot. Wait time is short and the doctor is patient with answering all my questions. I found two pairs of frames I love and found them to be affordable. I recommend trying them out if you are looking for vision care.

RUDE!!! I called for information & the receptionist had an attitude & was not being friendly at all!! That right there told me not to spend my money there!!

They got me in and out in a timely manner and helped my pain. Asked me all my problems and diligently helped.

The dental assistant, Jen was great! Dr. Thompson was amazing too. They explained everything they were doing and why they were doing it, which really put me at ease. No one likes going to the dentist and they really made me feel calm and comfortable. They are super accommodating with their hours. They are open at 7 am which really helps when you work full time. Also, they are so easy to work with in regards to financing major dental work. I would definitely recommend this dental office to anyone.

DO NOT GO HERE!I am beyond upset! I came to this dental office under the understanding that a service I inquired about, was offered here at Meridian Dental (Invisalign) and it’s not!I wanted to get Invisalign which THEIR WEBSITE says they offer, went through getting my impressions done, and paid my down payment only to find out IT’S NOT INVISALIGN! They are using a cheap company called REVEAL that has not even been around for even 2 years! There are no reviews for reveal on YouTube or anywhere! In fact, If you search reveal you will only see the company of Reveal (Henry Schein) promoting it which is a red flag! Usually Invisalign provides a simulation of what your teeth will look like towards the end of your alignment so while waiting for my trays to get done, I asked if I could see my end result simulation of my teeth and they showed me a simulation that had the name REVEAL on it and that’s how I found out they were using Reveal instead of Invisalign! They allowed me to believe I was getting Invisalign when I factually wasn’t! While some may say it’s not a big deal... well it technically is! If your website says you offer it and I pay under the understanding that’s what I’m getting and i don’t... that’s false advertising! I could have found another places that actually offers what I want months ago!Now I am stuck having to find a actual ORTHODONTIST who offers Invisalign! This is clearly false advertising and it should have been told to me back in May of 2020 not August 2020 when my Aligner trays where ready! Now they’re telling me I have to wait to get a refund weeks out! This now pushes my treatment time out much further than I anticipated unnecessarily! I was not given an apology or appropriate reason for why this happened! This is completely unacceptable and shameful! Trust me, DO NOT go to this dental office!

I got 3 fillings here a few months ago. One was not smooth, the other was poorly done. I will now travel back to my childhood dentist to fix the issues they created. Lana at the front desk is ghetto, sarcastic, rude and incompetent. I would not come here.Update.. my filling had fallen out.

Im disappointed in the centers approach to COVID-19 practices, which left me feeling quite unsafe. Dentistry, like most healthcare services, has little room for social distancing. So, precautions become even more critical for reassuring patients safety.I received 3 email reminders and 3 text reminders - plus an email confirmation and a text confirmation. At no point was I asked the typical 3-5 questions aligned with CDC guidelines (have you had a fever, etc.), nor did the reminders explain what if any steps were being taken at the clinic to reassure patients. When Ive been to other health clinics, there are temperature checks for patients and either a written notification/waiver or very clear signage reminding folks of the 3-5 factors. Patients are told if youve experienced any of the above, please stay home and reschedule your appointment. That would be a very simple addition to the email reminder / checkin process. When I checked in, I wasnt asked these questions either. The only signs I recall seeing were about wearing masks, which is a legal requirement. So, my takeaway is the ownership is doing the bare minimum, not wanting to inconvenience us at any point. I would rather they put my and other patients safety first over convenience.Curious, I did ask my hygienist if they were tested regularly for COVID. I have friends in palliative care and restaurant business who are tested regularly (weekly or every 3 weeks respectively). Seems like a dentist would be at least as risky. I was told they are not tested for COVID as a matter of doing business. As I understand it, tests are free - particularly for healthcare workers. Seems like convenience was chosen over safety.When I expressed my surprise regarding the gap in patient checks and precautions to the attending dentist, I was also told that I should have been asked the questions when my appointment was confirmed. I have copies of the emails and texts - this wasnt a human forgetting to ask. This was a failure to implement the steps into the check-in process.I was told that employees temperatures are taken daily, and they are told to follow the CDC guidelines and stay home, etc. The employees did wear masks, and used plastic face shields. So that was good. I didnt ask if chairs and surfaces were wiped down in between patients. I probably should have using hindsight.I also mentioned that I was surprised there wasnt a pre-rinse - had heard that from many friends who went to their dentist. I was told that the latest studies showed no clear benefit of said rinse. Using hindsight, I should have asked for the studies. Sounds to me more like the same desire to do the bare minimum, and err not on the side of patient safety.I made a lot of assumptions coming in - I should have called ahead and checked. When I come back for my next appointment in 6 months, I will check first - and find a new dentist if they are continuing to choose convenience over patient health.

UPDATE: They actually rescheduled another appointment without my permission and didnt notify me.BEWARE: Confirm your appointment or they will CANCEL it without notice. I enjoy the staff and love the hours, however; Im a little upset that my appointment was cancelled because I didnt confirm my appointment. Luckily, I called and was able to reschedule before I left work to go to an appointment that I no longer had.

I would not recommend this office during the pandemic. Front desk staff and techs were not diligent about masks and gloves. I felt unsafe a number of times throughout my visit.

Scared of dentists but jason bayless was im pressive he does know his tricks to avoid pain so that helped BUT NOW HE HAS QUIT AND MOVED ON TO ANOTHER DENTAL PRACTICE AND THEY WONT TELL ME WHERE HE WENT HE ALSO NEVER REPLIED TO TEXT MESSAGES BEGGING HIM TO LET US KNOW WHERE HE WAS WORKING.

They took such good care of my wife after an awful experience at Indianapolis Oral Surgery & Dental Implant Center. Amazing staff and such a calming atmosphere. Highly recommend them!!! A big thank you to them for being so wonderful as my wife battles several health conditions. They were knowledgeable and very kind and considerate.

I used to love coming here when it was owned by the Baileys and before Bridgette left. However I have become increasingly displeased with the service. My children have complained of pain several times after having their teeth filled. My daughter received rude treatment at the point of check-in today to the point she was so uncomfortable and opted not to be seen. Let me not forget to mention I was also billed for erroneous charges. After 14 years my family and I have decided to go elsewhere.

Was our sons first visit to the dentist, he is two. They made us feel welcome and comfortable upon arrival. They made him feel relaxed enough to let them work on his teeth with no issues. I have severe anxiety of the dentist every time I go but Megan ( can’t remember her name) always makes me feel so comfortable and worry free. I’ve also witnessed her with other patients and she treats all her patients like dear family members and I love that about her. I will never go anywhere else. My only complaint is my dentist seemed to move super slow between the three patients she had. It seemed the other dentist were getting there patients in out and I was there the whole day. Other than that. I have my 6 month appt already scheduled. I highly recommend.

The professionalism is extremely lacking at this location. After visiting just 3 business days before a procedure was scheduled and refilling an antibiotic to ensure I was ready for the procedure, I then received a call stating that my root canal was canceled because I didnt send a text message to confirm, even though I had confirmed in person when I was just seen. They then proceeded to argue with me on the phone, which resulted in me canceling the new patient appointments I had scheduled for the rest of my family. Do not deal with their bad customer service! They are a dental mill that is only interested in getting the most they can out of peoples pockets and insurance benefits!

I First would like to thank the entire staff at Meridian Dental for being so kind, gentle and compassionate. I have several health conditions and had and awful and traumatizing experience at Indianapolis Oral Surgery & Dental Implant Center. The atmosphere is so calming. They offer several different options to sedate even the most anxious person. Dr. Lee was amazing. throughout the entire process he kept telling me step by step what to expect and I felt no pain. I had an impacted hot wisdom tooth and he got it out and was extremely patient, kind and gentle. The hygienists and other dentists are as well. I am the type of person that when I leave reviews, I like to leave pros and cons so the reader can make the best decision they can...there are no cons here.

They can extract wisdom teeth perfectly fine, but filling, dont trust the dentists there. You find a different dentist each visit. The root canal I got with a dentist at meridian dental center, I cant recall her name anymore, I got it last year (2015) and I still suffer from it, she did a terrible job. As for fillings, lets say it is as good as asking your child to clean their room, very superficial, now I am stuck redoing those fillings, they hardly lasted a year, as I have decay in the teeth they filled, and the dentist (to get me to trust them) told me it can last up to 10 years (what a lie). All in all, I dont recommend this place, find a good dentist to stick to, as you will never find that with meridian dental center.

Cleaning was good, but the view of a cricket crawling around in the light above me the entire time was not ideal.

I love the atmosphere of this vision center. The optometrist is always very accommodating with my young children and doesnt force them to do more than necessary. They have quite a few options in eye wear and get them ordered and back very quickly.

They were friendly. I have allot of work done on my mouth. But these people really made me feel at ease. We all know dentists can be a little uncomfortable. The were the best dentist I have been to in a long time. My daughter had work done. She was so happy with them she called me.

Meridian Dental has very impressive staff members. The office has a comfortable feel to it. Bridgette the hygienist is so friendly and makes you feel very comfortable. Dr. Bayless is my doctor and he has a great sense of humor. He has done several fillings on me and my kids and fixed a crown that was bothering me. Great office in the downtown area!

Dr. Rider was wonderful. My first time meeting him, he explained the treatment completely, and was very pleasant, he made me comfortable and I am very thankful for that. The whole staff is wonderful from Dr. Rider to the Receptionist.

Dr. Jason Bayless, best dentist ever!Very professional, extremely knowledgeable, and down to earth dentist. Also, I love that they are not a judgment dental center. And the most important part of every dentist; extremely minimal pain before, during, and after the procedure. They are gentle, take their time, and talk through the procedure if you want, TV if you need some background distractions, and the facility is very modern both in decoration and in equipment. They give you upfront solutions according to your current dental condition. And provide a realistic plan to fix any immediate and future issues. I would highly recommend them over any previous dentist I have experienced.

This was my first time here after bouncing around to several dentists who didnt take my insurance. They were all super friendly right away. Megan was really attentive to my worries and talked me through everything. Dr. DAmour was very efficient and straightforward which is really helpful! I went in just thinking they were going to look but Dr. DAmour found time to fit me in right then and I left with a filled cavity in no time at all.

I would never go back there. the dentist that pull my teeth. didnt know what she was doing. I went in for a cleaning and some filling. and they ran my insurance up.my teeth are More in pain, then every. please dont go there. I would recommend a 0 if I could, that place is more like a dental school with students in training .

Female staff was very rude, all of them. Went there for a cleaning (teeth), was put through a bunch of x rays, was referred to another dentist for a root canal. Did NOT clean my teeth but they got paid through my insurance for all of the x rays. Will not be returning, needless to say.

Well, the first time I made a call & left a message, no one ever ever called me back! I made another call & left a voicemail, but again no one called me back! Though they have nice reviews, most of the folks who leave 5 stars review are not keen observers or don’t know what they are doing. Staff not all that friendly, they are just there overworked & fakes smile! You can really tell how a manufactured or artificial smile looks like. They got mad at me for not telling them that I was done with filling out paperwork. Other places that I’ve ever received care, I don’t have to do that! They assistant or a doctors normally comes and takes my paperwork and leads me to the consultation room. I went for the dental cleaning, & all that they did was to tak X-rays of my dental without actual cleaning. They needed me again to make another appointment for that! That was a little crazy! My former dentists, they did everything on the first day! This one has device cleaver means to mint money from insurances and me with copays. I hate this place and I will have change! I wish my former doctor was part of my new insurance! Life sacks! This place needs change & stop inconveniencing folks

I have been to a lot of dentist in my life. This is by far one of the greatest dental places. I might add I have terrible anxiety about dental work because of past experiences. Dr. Bayless and his assistant are truly wonderful. Dr. Bayless has great bedside manners, but also he is very skilled. He does some technique I haven’t had other dentist use for numbing and it truly works to where the pain is very minimal. Speaking of pain they are very wonderful at pain management. I have never been left in pain whether my meds weren’t strong enough or it was a holiday weekend. Dr Bayless is very skilled. I have had dental implants by him and they have had zero complications, nearly no pain, and no other issues. I also believe the clinic is very affordable and reasonable with pricing. The staff are all very sweet, professional, and helpful. The wait time is very reasonable and they do pretty well staying on schedule. They are a role model for what dentistry should be.

So I get up at 6am because I dont want to be late for my 7am appointment and to see Bridgette the best dental hygienist on the streets.....lolI check in and a new front desk person tells me Bridgette isnt there anymore......she left about a month ago. Say what!! I am irritated. They say Gina is going to see you and she is great. I say she might be great but she isnt Bridgette and maybe I might have cancelled my appointment if I had known. Crickets......Go back, talking to Gina and she was nice.....blah blah blah.....but again......ahe wasnt Bridgette. So I asked if she could see how long I had been coming there and she says since 2010. Say what!! So you mean to tell me I have been seeing Bridgette for almost 9 years (she was there 20 years) and not a soul thought it beneficial to call and tell me. Told the front desk lady who says she will tell the owner but you know what.......I dont care. I am on the lookout for a new dentist. By the way Dr. Bayless looks young but he is the best there. And before this experience they were the best establishment in town but not anymore. You took my loyalty for granted.

It was a little chilly today in and the wonderful assistant brought me a blanket and it was so calm and relaxing that i slept almost the whole 3 hours LMAO . Highly reccomend .

I have a failed root canal. My pain level is at a 10 and they couldnt accommodate me so I have to wait until Tuesday to get in. Im in SEVERE PAIN and it seems as if they didnt care. My overall experience was good .

If you have options for optical care, explore them carefully before making this choice.

Dr.Damore is the best dentist that i have come to. And i have had at least 14 trips to many different dentist. I was petrified to go to the dentist since i was a child and coming to meridian dental was the best decision i have made since the start of having all of my teeth taken out. Now its April 26th 2018 and on next friday i will be able to smile again for the first time in 10 years!!!! That is all thanks to Dr.Damore and her staff! Thanks Meridian Dental office !!

Terrible technician here ! Went to clean teeth but was like a torture ! The tech use extreme force, poke my gengiva with that sharp instrument. I left with sore mouth, headache and blood in my mouth ! NEVER HAD PAIN AND BLOOD BEFORE WHEN CLEAN TEETH BEFORE ! Technician should be a mechanic instead of tooth tech !! Horrible, painfull, use excessive force !! Will not return to this place again !!

I had to get fillings a WHOLE YEAR ago they told me my insurance cover it 100% year later sending me a bill saying it only covered 50% they will mess your teeth up and they only want money I would not recommend to anyone.
