Asked for pricing on weeding the yard and mowing the lawn, which is clearly two different things. I was quoted a price of $50 and confirmed that included weeding the yard and mowing the lawn. I noticed the lawn was being cut but the yard wasnt being weeded. I sent a text why this hasnt been done. I was assured that it had been done and when I sent pics that it wasnt I was told they normally dont do beds that part of the lawn. I then replied that we must be using different terminology as the yard and lawn are two different things. The yard includes the rock border/bed around my home and garden bed. The lawn is the actual grass. When I brought up what my understanding was of what the weekly price included I was told Oh, we can do it but thats an extra $10. So basically Ive been paying him weekly for a service that he never intended on completed. I told him no thanks and since he cant honor the price that we agreed to, I would be finding someone else for my yard and lawncare needs. Unethical and unprofessional. Dont use this company. Even if when you try to protect yourself by confirming what you want, this unethical company changes the terms of what you agreed to. I dont know if theyre struggling because of the pandemic but that doesnt mean take advantage of customers to make ends meet. I just paid him so I never have to deal with him again. Immediately blocked him afterwards as if he was a professional he would have tried to correct the situation. It was six weeds sticking out of a rock border. I would do it but I cant right now due to health reasons (not corona).
