They did a great job doing our landscaping project. Came in on budget, they were courteous, cleaned up and were done on time! I am recommending to my neighbors when they need yard work!

This company does the lawn care in my neighborhood. I have lived here for 12 years and never had a complaint until they started mowing. They dont weed eat. They miss whole sections. If there is debris from trees and such they will throw it in your yard to avoid disposal. Its ashame the HOA pays them a huge amount of money to take care of the grounds. They will never get a dime from any company Im ever associated with.

My mobile home court uses this company and every time they damage our cars and our neighbors, tried calling the trailer court and even the police to make a statement. Be nice if someone cared of others belongings when they decide to come onto the property without notice .

They mow our housing addition common area and they leave staked grass, do not weed eat around fence post or tree circles. My husband works for biggest mowing company in Indianapolis and they would never leave a site looking lime this!

Guys did an exceptional job on my retaining wall. Guys were very knowledgeable and did an awesome job with their cleanup. Our services include lawn fertilization and aeration that we started with Berger Hargis and our lawn has never looked this good. Starting tree fertilization this year and cant wait to see the results.

Hired Berger-Hargis for a pretty significant front yard drainage project. Process and project was excellent from the estimate from John and then the actual project. Jeremiah and crew were here when they said they would be, worked their butts off, were professional, friendly and communicated every step of the way. Yard looks great and clean up was excellent! This company is fantastic! They actually call you back which is unique compared to a lot of contractors. The crew that came out to do our landscaping and sod removal was on time, professional and did a great job. The mulch beds and design make our entire home look great. Our home builder did a great job on the house but they really only put in the most basic landscaping. I highly recommend them if you want to make your house stand out in the neighborhood.

We hired Berger Hargis to work on our lawn. The young man that came to our home, Josh, took his time and did excellent work. Improving the yard was important for both my wife and I. However, it was especially important to her. Berger Hargis has taken care of our yard for over 15 years at our Carmel home. It was always one of the prettiest yards in the neighborhood. We recently moved into a new build (downsizing) and therefore had to start a yard from scratch. Bergis Hargis sodded our new yard and it looks beautiful. The Bergis Hargis crew were polite, hard working and definitely knew their business. Their preparation prior to laying the sod was time consuming and hard work but it was done professionally. The task was made even a bit more difficult given that we had planted a significant number of new evergreen trees which required more cutting than is typical in most instances. But the project when done was absolutely beautiful....I might even say it was breathtaking. They do maintenance quarterly, and the employees are always courteous and do a very thorough job. The office calls to tell me when they are coming so I dont let my dog or granddaughter outside for the recommended time after they finish. I’m very disappointed with the level of customer service and the landscaping job. The landscapers never informed me of the day they were coming to do the job. They installed three boxwoods, two of which were dead and didn’t place a tarp down to keep weeds from returning. When I called to let them know about the dead trees they came out and said to water the scrubs and if it got worse they would replace. The representative also informed me that I was over charged by the owner I assume Bryan Berger. He agreed to take money off the next job because the first job was over priced. I’ve called multiple times to request that they replace the two dead bushes but I assume that since they’ve already received my 1500 dollars they no longer need to honor their word.

These guys do it right. They come when they say and care about where they apply the seed or fertilizer. My grass has never been greener! They use great and safe products on the lawn

Professional during initial communication then MIA. Sent several email trying to schedule the install and never heard back. Even when I followed up the following season, more of the same. If schedule fills up I would think, as a professional myself, I would contact customer and explain that instead of looking into it.

Do not hire this company. Our HOA has this company and they are terrible.Chris has been out several times and made promises that were never kept.The folks that mow scalp the lawns so short we get burn out.They have taken chunks out of the wood posts on our hou house. The have ripped siding off by not paying attention where they are mowing.Weed whacking is horrible. So many issues. Ive never seen a company make up more excuses as to why these things happen, yet refuse to fix any of them.
