Booher just completed our kitchen remodel and we are so happy that we chose Booher! We love our kitchen! Its beautiful! Their employees were very professional! I never felt uneasy about any of their employees coming in and out of our home. They were considerate, friendly and cleaned up after themselves after each job they performed. I want to give a special shout out to our field manager, Jason, who would go above and beyond to make sure each phase of the remodel was done well, as quickly as it could be done and would keep me informed throughout the process. Also, Ben and Vince (cabinets and hardware (floating shelves, hood, etc) did an amazing job! Chuck the electrician, Joe the plumber and the tile guys were top notch and put care into their work. The office ladies as well as the owners were great to work with! In a remodel, especially during COVID, there will always be little bumps in the road. But Rob Booher made things right when they would come up and we really appreciate it and portrays what kind of company Booher is- honest and professional! I cannot say enough great things about Booher and we appreciate all they did to make our kitchen so beautiful! We highly recommend Booher and will choose them again with any future needs!

I had Booher come out to quote a kitchen island update. At first I was told the consult was free. Then when they came out there was an associated cost. There were levels of cost depending on how many options you wanted. I was relying on their expertise to tell me what I could do and didnt anticipate I would need several revisions, so I selected the basic service. I dont mind paying someone for their service. The initial appointment was okay. I believe the representative was thorough in checking out the island and associated structure. We had just moved in and things were a little crazy.They sent me a VERY detailed bid which was just above $26,000 to redo my kitchen island granite in a slightly different shape. I was not provided a drawing which showed me how they would redo or what it would look like. The cost was also subject to change if I chose a more expensive counter type.When I inquired about exactly what they were doing for that amount, I was told that I didnt pay for a drawing that is why I didnt get one. When I informed them the cost seemed very high, especially in light of the fact they couldnt show me anything I was told that I should make and appointment to come into the design center. I have never been to a design center where it didnt cost more. I also had no desire to go any further with the company since they couldnt provide me anything except and overpriced bid.We are getting ready to start several projects in our home and I will NOT be including Booher in the bid process. I am actually still very upset by the experience and it has almost been two years.

I had my kitchen and bathroom remodeled. They did excellent work. Very efficient and kept me informed on what was going on. Duncan did an excellent job managing the remodeling. Everyone at Booher was wonderful. I would definitely use them again.

After 24 years, our master bath was in need of a remodel. We could not have asked for a better company to bring our vision into reality. The staff at Booher Remodeling was a joy to work with. From start to finish they were professional, personable, and efficient. Each of the trades was top notch. They arrived as scheduled and did an excellent job. Booher does very nice work at a very competitive price. In 2017 Booher did a complete bathroom gut / remodel for us and did a great job. In 2019 we had a leak in the shower tile. This was found after our warranty had expired. Unfortunately the original tile had been discontinued so to fix the leak they ended up having to remove and replace the entire shower. Even though we were out of warranty Booher completely re-built the shower at no cost to us. Every contractor that does enough work will eventually have an issue on a project - the way to judge the great companies is how they handle the issue when they do come up.So when it was time to remodel our kitchen / dining area in 2020 it was a no brainer that we wanted to use Booher as long as they were at least competitive with our other bids. Lucky for us we did not have to put a $ value on our trust of Booher because their quote was actually a bit lower than our other two.They did another great job on the kitchen / dining room remodel. We love the cabinets, countertops, tile backsplash and new dry bar. Our only complaint was that the painting subcontractor was painfully slow (we had them paint the entire main level so this meant furniture was covered for over a week while painting outside the kitchen remodel).Thanks again to the Booher crew for another nice project.

Very impressed with their whole process. We had a room, an entryway and hallway remodeled. They replaced the floors, sub-floors, drywall and replace 6 new doors. Job was great and on time like clock work. They worked with us throughout the job. When the need arises again, we will be using Booher for sure.Rory Collins

We recently completed a remodel of our master bathroom. Before hiring Booher I got estimates from three other remodeling companies. I chose Booher because their cost was relatively in line with the other estimates I received and I felt they would do a good job of sticking to their timeline. I was not disappointed in that regard. Gary was our project manager. He was easy to work with, and kept me well-informed all throughout the process. The project was completed when they said it would be and there were no surprises as far as expenses. I would hire them again.

We contracted with Booher Remodeling Company to remodel our kitchen. Every step of the way we were impressed with the professionalism that was displayed by the Booher staff. We had a few minor issues during construction but expected that as part of the process. Booher promptly addressed every issue and all were resolved to our satisfaction. The project schedule that was given to us was very helpful and they adhered to it all the way through. We are very happy with the final product and would definitely contract with Booher on a future project.

I highly recommend Booher Remodeling. I wanted an ADA bathroom and of the half dozen people I had in, they were the ones that seemed to understand what I wanted. They were professional, on time, and wonderful people to work with. They kept me informed at all times as to what was going on and made sure it was acceptable to me. I dont know how they did it but we ended up with a larger shower, larger water closet and larger clothes closet! We are very happy with our new bathroom.

We had Booher remodel our master bath and remodel our attic to add another master closet and a sitting room. The work was finished in April and I love this addition more every day. I think it was an excellent investment and I am so glad we did it.

I would definitely have them back for any future remodeling work.

We had a great experience with Booher Remodeling. The thing that we absolutely loved was the great communication. We had an idea of the design we wanted along with a budget and they put together not only some nice drawings which improved our ideas, but a plan which included who to call, in what order, a timetable and suggestions that really worked for us. Our experience with Booher remodeling for our bathroom remodels was very poor. When Booher came to give us a quote, I told them exactly what I wanted. The exact tile, shower glass, tubs, I even gave them the paint code. We had several other quotes and Booher was the highest. However, we assumed that the renderings and reviews were an indication that Booher was a quality company. We couldn’t be more incorrect.After we signed the contract, we went and selected the exact finishes from Booher’s vendors that they sent us to. Our total project price increased by $6,390.35! I brought my concerns to Kathi (the owner) and Paula (she handles the billing) via email. The response was very rude and not sympathetic. No customer service skills at all.Not a single permit was pulled for our job. They removed a wall, added two walls, added electrical, modified existing electrical, plumbing, etc…all with no permits (all required when done together per Indianapolis code book 536-201 section b, article 11)They tore out our old shower to reveal that there was no insulation behind it on an exterior wall. Not a single person brought this up to me. I had to run out that night and do it myself.Once the work actually started, it was all very poor quality with the exception of the electrician and the drywall finisher. Then, halfway through the first of two bathrooms, no one shows up for a full week. I have three kids and being down a bathroom is difficult. Having no activity at all for an entire week while we are down a bathroom is really frustrating.On the second bathroom, they grout the floor… completely wrong color grout (both bathrooms are supposed to match) and no one at Booher can figure out what color was used on the first bathroom. It took a week and a half for them to figure it out. So once again, over a week with nothing happening and we are still down a bathroom.The final product is fine, not amazing but adequate. Lots of signs of poor quality still like uneven tiles, missing grout spots and poor quality drywall patches. And now, to really end this project on a sour tone, they are spamming my email inbox. They apparently hire a marketing company to send emails every single day asking for reviews on the major review sites. Be careful what you ask for Booher, here’s the review you are demanding.

We worked with Booher on two large projects, a complete redo of the basement and a kitchen/complete 1st floor remodel and new carpet in all rooms upstairs. Jason was great to work with and all staff and workers were great. I would recommend them.

I have used them for 3 bathroom area remodels, a gathering room update, and a new roof. They got the jobs completed on time, stayed within my budget, and kept me in the loop through the process. The day the roof went on we knew a big storm was coming overnight. They stayed until they couldnt see anymore in the dark and were back the next day to check for damage and leaks (thank goodness there was none!). Very friendly and easy to work with staff.

Had Booher remodel our two bathrooms. Didn’t redesign anything, just replaced outdated fixtures etc.Entire process was not good. Had them come out to give us estimate, get the estimate, ok it, get called back next day to say they miscalculated something, would be another $600. Should have been a red flag but we figured mistakes happen and the reviews are good.Go through the process of picking everything out from their vendors. For the most part went ok. Project scheduled to start so meeting set up with project manager at our home at 4 pm. Wife and I both make sure to get off early to be there. Nobody shows up so we call office and are told project manager forgot. He shows up at 5:30 not knowing we talked to office. Tells us he was with another client and got held up. Great way to start a project!We only have these two bathrooms in house and had been told we would have use of one or the other throughout the project. Project manager knew nothing about this and said both were scheduled to be done at same time. We explained this wasn’t possible since we needed access to one. Was told he would take care of it.Next day get a phone call telling us would be another $600 since they were doing them separately. Person whom we discussed this with during planning “didn’t recall” doing them separately and contract was not specific. We should have canceled contract at this point and just forfeited deposit but didn’t. Big regret.Construction finally starts, first day went well, crew there all day to demo first bathroom. After that everything slows to a snails pace. Booher mainly used sub contractors which was fine, but on average about 45 minutes of work done per day over first several weeks. Took 3 entire months to finish two bathrooms. Again no redesign, just replaced existing fixtures and floors.Our project manager quit working for Booher halfway through project, things went slightly better after that.Beware of allowances on everything, Booher charged about 25% more than retail price at Lowe’s for most everything when using there suppliers.Overall was just a very disappointing experience. Not sure how all these reviews are so positive.

Booher added a closet in a bedroom in my home. The finished job was excellent. I appreciated the oversight by the project manager. He was there every step of the way to assure the work was done well. They delivered on time and on budget.

Wow. Booher did a great job, I was quoted $8100 on my bathroom, got most of the stuff myself (Miss Frugal) and the bathroom is awesome! For us older folks who are technologically challenged, Gary sent a text to our land-line. But overall, the experience was good. In my opinion, Theresa the paint lady was absolutely wonderful! When they cut out the countertop, there was a gap, and she caulked it so it looked like perfection! I am so happy with my new bathroom and I think they had not put in a corner shower before but it is great! Plus I got a credit of nearly $2000.

Our first caution is that your own estimate of the cost of a bathroom remodel is going to be low. We used prior projects to estimate it and the actual cost was almost twice our estimate. So whatever you are estimating, add more to the cost. We got estimates from three companies and they were all in the same general ballpark.So the tradeoff we faced was whether to spend more on the project to go with a bigger company in Booher or spend less to go with smaller company. From the start we liked the people at Booher better, we liked their drawings better and they just came across as very professional. The cost difference wasnt huge, so we went with Booher. We are very glad we did.I cant say enough about the high level of professionalism. They sent out an estimator who talked through what we wanted and created high-quality drawings that really helped us see what it would look like and understand our various options. Then we went into their showroom to pick some of the materials or they sent us to reliable companies for stuff they didnt carry. It was very seamless. The other showrooms knew we were coming and what we were looking for.The actual project took about a month. The project manager arrived at the outset with a binder that laid out what would happen each day of the project. That was really helpful, since they work with several subcontractors. It allowed us to keep track of who was coming and what they were doing each day. The subcontractors were all great. They were polite, hardworking and conscientious. And they all did excellent work. More than one recommended minor changes that solved problems, such as the most effective wiring plan for lights or how to cover a pipe that could not be moved, that we really appreciated in the end.The project proceeded on schedule with minimal interruption to our routines. The end product is SO great! Really, I cant overstate how much of a daily boost it is to go into our spectacular new bathroom each morning -- with its great lighting, nice flooring, big shower and comfortable tub -- after years of using a shabby, worn out bathroom. We are thankful literally every day for their good work.In nearly every way Booher exceeded our expectations. The only disappointment was that they charge extra if you use a credit card. It wasnt actually a big deal for us as we had money set aside. You pay in installments and just leave a check in the binder when they complete each milestone. We paid four times -- at the start, at the end and twice in between after big portions of the work were complete. But I was hoping to rack up some credit card reward points that I didnt get.I will say they were especially great about change orders. They estimated conservatively so there werent big surprises. Inevitably, there will be changes you wont expect. They always patiently explained in detail what needed to change and why. In our case, a wiring challenge led to us asking them to just install new kitchen lighting in the room below the bathroom since they had to remove a light fixture anyway to gain access. That was a big change to the project but it went smoothly and driven by our ideas and needs. That big change aside, most of the change orders were just a hundred dollars or so here and there and did not add significantly to the total project cost.Our bottom line was that it was very worth it to us to pay a little more for the high degree of professionalism and work quality we got from Booher. We are planning to explore a kitchen remodel with them in the future.

Stressless remodeling of two bathrooms. We were kept informed of progress, when and which worker would be coming each day. The supervisor Gary checked the work each time work was done in the bathroom. All workers were careful. Cleaned trash each day. Highly recommend.

Booher Remodeling remodeled our master bathroom. We chose them because of their reputation and reviews, and they did not disappoint. Our bathroom originally had a large garden tub that we never used and a tiny shower. Booher almost completely gutted the bathroom, leaving only the walk-in closet. They installed a large shower where the tub was located, removed the old shower and used the space to extend the walk-in closet, and gave us larger counter and under-sink storage space,We have never been through a major remodel before, but everyone at Booher was very helpful, guiding us through the design process and offering advice. Paula kept us on track and mostly on budget (our fault, not hers), including when and where to go to pick out fixtures, cabinetry, etc.Once construction began, we interacted primarily with our field manager Ryan, who was wonderful. He was at the site at least once a day and sometimes more often. He kept us informed of every step, telling us who would be at the house and what they would be doing each day, keeping us informed of any schedule changes, and generally ensuring that everything went smoothly. He inspected the days work with an eye for small details. He answered questions and provided advice when needed.Booher chooses their contractors with care. I am fortunate to work from my home office, so while I was available for questions, I never felt that any of the contractors intruded on me unnecessarily. Painters, electricians, plumbers, tilers, drywallers, all were very professional and courteous, and left the house as clean and orderly as they could given the circumstances.There were a couple of issues with suppliers that delayed the completion of the project a few days, but Booher kept on top of it and got the job done. We love our new bathroom!Of course remodeling a bathroom is expensive and, of course, we wish it would have been cheaper. However, Boohers prices were in line with other estimates we received and their reputation made them the obvious choice for us.

Booher just completed a basement and bathroom remodel at my home. They were highly professional, flexible, and did an outstanding job. I would strongly recommend them.

Description of work:We had our kitchen, laundry room area, and the flooring in our half bath and entryway redone. Porcelain tile was installed through the areas, new granite countertops were installed, with a new sink, tile backsplash, cabinets were moved, gas line was installed for a new gas stove, and several walls were removed to provide more space in the laundry area, and better flow between the family room, kitchen and dining/living rooms.Overall, we are very pleased with the work. The kitchen looks fantastic. All of the workers were great to work with. The manager that oversaw the project was in constant contact with us and explained the work, potential roadblocks, options, etc. every step of the way.
