Very nice people, great service, good price. It was cheap to get my car out and they were very understanding of my situation. My car got towed again today, this time by another company and they were very nice when I called to see if it was them and even gave me the name and number of the place they thought might have my car, which helped me find my car much quicker than I ever would have on my own. Very good people with great service and good attitudes!

They gave me an ETA of 60 minutes so after waiting for more than 1.5 hours they show up then just left. I called them and they said that the Lawrence police is their top, basically only, priority and they received a call for a police impound pickup. They left me sitting here the entire time so I had to try to find another tow company. This business is absolutely unprofessional and inconsiderate. Don’t EVER call for their services unless you enjoy waiting for someone who WONT show up! UNBELIEVABLE!

My mother got in a accident.. went to pick up personal belongings.. and they were GONE!! The inside of the car looked like someone took a knife to the seats. And destroyed the head liner.. they had also taken the back seat out of the car!!! We couldnt salvage it even we wanted to... DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TOW COMPANY!!

Police towed my car here and I called who ever answer was rude for one and I had to bring two licenses drivers I’ve never in my life heard of bring two licenses drivers I felt like they did that because of the type of car I have which is a Mercedes Benz 2016 I paid 160 and my car wasn’t even there a day couple of hours and the coo who stopped my husband was on west side but towed it here 35 mins away smh people will do anything to make someone life harder

Fast pace when I needed a tow but unfortunately they do not have a fax machine to fax the receipt to my insurance company! What a bummer😒! Other than that service was in a timely matter and customer service relations was great!

They were fast, but I am not giving a complete 5 because they had me come in for stuff that could have been sent electronically. I live an hour away and am not thrilled to be so close to where I had my first major accident.. I had two attendants to walk me to my car. One was on the impatient side, but Tim was informative, easy to be around and patient. and he is the kind of guy you want to deal with when you are at the tow lot . At the same time I am curious as to why it made a side trip here. It was not stolen. I produced insurance at the accident and my registration was in the car. I think I will have it explained why I needed this service.

I Was repossessing a vehicle that was towed by Lawrence pd and was treated like a piece of trash by the owner of lawrence towing. Goes to show you how true the stereotype is of most towing companies to be sleazy cut throat slime balls. I was told Friday that I would have to pay 80$ to have vehicle released once the detective released it. I showed up Monday when the detective released the car and the lady at desk took my 80$ then talked to owner and said no its 85$ is minimum charge. So I then said are you sure because they old me 80 on phone. She said yes and I handed her 5$. Then the owner looks up at me and says well actually we have to charge you for 1 day also. She looks at me and says well actually its 100$. I was very polite, but when the owner looked at me and said I was lying about the charge and snapped at me saying I deal with this everyday I knew I would just have to file a review and contact the better business Bureau. The owner was making the rules as she went and it was obvious. I explained to her I spoke to 2 employees Friday and was told same thing by both of them. She looked at me and said its 100 dollars. I totally understand them charging for the tow but they can not charge for storage and at the same time not allow you to pick the vehicle up. I picked the vehicle up 10 minutes after it was released by the detective from the police department.

They told me to leave my key under the mat. I did. Then they locked my key in my car and left it at the mechanic. Said they could not find the key. Ive now lost a day that my mechanic couldnt look at my car because the keys were locked in it. The best part is I gave them my number but they didnt bother to call and ask. Very poor customer service, wasted a lot of time.

If you have your car towed here for any reason, be sure to ask them exactly how much it costs for every single service they provide. In my experience they will go out of their way to make sure you dont know their fees, then hit you with a huge bill shortly after. If you go in to dispute their outrageous fees, youll be essentially told you didnt ask the right questions.Maybe theyre great for a tow from A to B who knows. But if your car has to stored there be sure to ask them about every single thing you can, as if you dont they will quickly become predatory and hit you with everything they can, as apparently it is your job to ask them about every single one of their policies.

I was in a car accident on the highway a few weeks ago. It was pretty bad, and while I wasnt seriously injured I was very shaken and out of it. My car was unsafe to drive, so the police officer asked if I needed to have my car towed. I wasnt thinking clearly and didnt think about calling my insurance or roadside assistance, so I told him yes. They called Lawrence Towing to pick up my car, and they towed it to their tow yard where it began accruing charges of $25 a day for storage while I figured things out with my insurance and the police report. By the time I was able to pick up my car, the storage charges were $675. They charged me $20 a mile for towing for a total amount of $120. They charged me $45 for accident cleanup, although there was no debris and nothing to clean up since both cars were pulled to the shoulder and traffic had resumed. Finally, they charged me an $85 administration fee because they filed a mechanics lien against me three days after the accident. At no point in time did they make me aware of their policies, their three day grace period, or the cost of their services. Neither in person or on the phone was I told him how much I would have to pay in order to release my car, and was never given an invoice until I demanded a copy. They only told me that I would need proof of insurance to have my car released, not that I would also have to pay the balance in full. It wasnt until I received the lien letter that I was made aware of what I owed.I had to pay a total of $925 to be able to get my car out of storage and get my things out of it. If I had called roadside assistance or any other tow company, the total charges probably wouldve been two dollars a mile at best, maybe slightly more. I cant imagine that being towed 6 miles wouldve cost more than $50.These people will lie to your face and then blame you because you didnt ask the right questions, and tell you they are under no obligation to inform you of anything or to give you any notice before they file a lien. Whether or not this is actually illegal, its really shady predatory behavior that takes advantage of people who have just been in a major wreck.If you are ever in an accident, be sure to call your insurance company first, your roadside assistance, anyone but these people. You may end up owing them more than what your car is worth.

Was referred by my mechanic to have my stalled car picked up by these guys. The driver was coming down the street and I waved at him to let him know where the car was....he pretended to not see me and drove right past. He did a U-turn and proceeded to park in front of my car. He got out of the truck without making ANY eye contact, and proceeded to start getting things ready. I said hello and he ignored me, until about one minute later when (again without making eye contact) he said well, if you need to be watching me, maybe your car doesnt really need to be towed. I should have then and there told him to take a hike.....I didnt, but complained to the auto shop that recommended these guys who in turn complained to them and I then got a call from their office manager. She apologized, but her apology wasnt fully sincere as she said theres always to sides to the story. Seriously? Stay away from these guys, folks. Thats my recommendation.

If your car is wrongfully towed they still make you pay the fee. Instead of waving it. Other than that they are nice.

We are Canadian and my husband was visiting family in the United States, and on his way back home, his truck died on the shoulder of I-70. He called me back home and asked me to find a towing company to come and pick him up. I found this company via the internet and within 5 minutes of my call they had dispached someone to assist my stranded husband. The person answering the phone was extremly pleasant and helped make a very stressful situation easier. My sincere thanks from across the border!

They are a bunch of liars and thieves; especially the owner Chris!They stole my car and sold it through auction for a profit instead of notifying me of any of their regulations and forwarding a bill to my insurance company for myself. My car was towed by them due to an accident I was in and they did not give my insurance company adjuster a chance to come and see it. Liars and thieves, liars and thieves all of them! Consumers and people in car accidents in the Lawrence area, BEWARE!!Below is my deposition of the events that happened:On December 21 my vehicle was pulled out of the lake in my apartment complex the landings at 56th due to a mechanical malfunction. After which the vehicle was then towed by Lawrence towing LLC. They were called by the Lawrence Police Department to come out. The following day around 6:30 or 7AM, I arrived at Lawrence towing LLC to retrieve some personal properties from within the car. The car had been submerged in water for over two hours and at that point it was considered to be a total loss. There were still some properties that I wanted from the car but I was not allowed to have those properties until I turned in the title and signed over ownership to Lawrence towing LLC. I left my phone number and my name for the owner Chris to call me back to let me know when would be a good time to come up there with the title so that I can retrieve what I wanted out of the vehicle. I was never called back. On January 29th my insurance company contacted me because the adjuster had been out to Lawrence towing and was not able to find the car. My insurance adjuster was never told where the car was located and therefore was not able to take photography so that he could move on with the estimate of value for the vehicle. My adjuster David with Geico, suggested that I go ahead and give Lawrence towing a call to see if maybe I could make some headway with them on getting information about the location of my car which should have never been moved in the first place. I did so and I called and spoke to a gentleman named Chris which was the owner. Chris was very evasive in telling me where my vehicle was and I expressed to Chris that I never signed over ownership of the vehicle; I never release the title and in fact I still have the title to this day. Chris told me that he assumed that I did not want the vehicle any longer. At that point I was in a State of confusion and shock as the conversation was shaping up to seem as if they had blatantly stolen my vehicle; I did not understand how they felt they had the right to sell or relinquish my car without my permission or even without making a phone call to do so. I finished my conversation with Chris as it was going nowhere fast due to him not wanting to give any information; at this point we ended the conversation. As of now my insurance company, Geico is in limbo as they cannot move forward with the claim without the proper photography and inspection of the vehicle. It was not fair and it was also extremely unprofessional the way I was treated in the process and also for the company to relinquish my property for profit without my knowledge or consent.I will continue to put the word out about them as people need to be aware of businesses like these. Businesses that steal from the public, that manipulate people and hardship situations.

This tow company is contested with my apartments and we have assigned parking in my apartments well someone was in my spot and stayed there for a hour I call the Lawerence tow company and the man that answered said that they only have one truck at night so I said so I am just out of my parking spot the the man blanky said yes so I have to park far away from my building and let someone else car stay there for the whole night dont contest with them....they are rude and horrible customer service...
