Everyone in the service department was kind and helpful. I had previously visited a mechanic and was quoted astronomic prices. People always say the dealership is overpriced; but I’m here to tell you differently. The tech listened patiently to every issue that was reported by the other mechanics and listened to my issues. Meticulously addressed each and every one and then took the time to EXPLAIN it to me!!!! What a concept! I won’t be going elsewhere for the life of my Chrysler vehicle. Thank you Whitney and Michelle. Job well done, in a pandemic, short on staff and parts! I appreciate you!

We bought a car from this dealership at the end of April this year. The overall buying and financing experience was solid. At the time there did not seem to be any issues and the entire inspection report showed that everything was OK. Im not a car guy, but assumed I could trust such a report. Fast forward to 3-4 weeks later and turn on the A/C for the first time - no cold air whatsoever. Get back into the dealership for service. They barely decide to fix the car claiming they would trust us this time that a mistake had been made. Turns out the compressor was shot and not working at all. They begrudgingly replaced it. The A/C seemed to have been working okay till August. Then the car would only cool intermittently and now has finally stopped working altogether. I am taking it to a different mechanic that will hopefully finally resolve the issue. I am not confident that a car that has been fully serviced and had the A/C system inspected a few months ago would now be having issues. Ive had cars that are from literally the 90s that have never had A/C issues like this.

My experience at Tom O’ Brian’s Service Center was really one of the best repair experiences I have ever had. My representative was Whitney there and he was great at communicating every step they made with the repair and even gave me a few suggestions of preventative measures to prevent the vehicles issues in the future. Also very kind through payment and pickup obstacles making my transaction with them smooth and easy! I will do all my repairs through them from now on!

Angie and everyone at the Greenwood location were amazing! The vehicles are spotless! Definitely recommend the Greenwood location! Ended up buying a vehicle from 96th street location and Angie drove all the way up there to help me out! Randy in finance was fantastic to work with! The vehicle will need to be cleaned, and some minor details I am hoping will be resolved. I definitely recommend the Greenwood location! Only negative about Indy location was the cleanliness of vehicles did not seem to be the same! The people were fantastic!

I made the appointment for Monday, 3 weeks in advance, since it’s hard for me to plan a day when I don’t need my car. I wanted a possible transmission issue looked at, and an oil change while it was in. Monday afternoon I asked for an update, was told they wouldn’t be able to get it done that day. I arranged to be without my car Tuesday, and the same thing happened! I asked for a discount on the oil change and was told “no.” They finally got the work done Wednesday morning. I spoke to the service manager and explained what happened. He apologized and when I asked for any compensation for the poor service, he gave me a coupon for a free oil change next time. So in the end they made it right. I doubt I will return there, except possibly for the free oil change.

We purchased our 2nd vehicle in the last 4 years today from Tom OBrien. I realize that the current climate for purchasing a vehicle is not ideal, but Neil Bolinger & his Sales Team are 1st class all the way--and you cannot beat that loyalty cash back. We worked with Allen Balz on our 1st vehicle (Jeep Grand Cherokee--for the Mrs.), & Stan the man Ignas on todays purchase (Ram 1500 night edition--for Me!). Both of these gentleman are incredibly knowledgeable, respectful, & patient. They work as a team, there were never any slimy car salesman clichés, & that is so refreshing when compared to some of the boiler room dealers up & down 96th Street (Im looking at you Napleton Kia). The service dept @ OBrien is also 1st class--keep your eyes peeled on your emails for great deals on oil changes & tire rotation. Love this place.

The entire process from making the appointment, and dropping off the vehicle with Mr. Tony Fields at the service entrance went very well. Mr. Fields contacted me prior to the vehicle being completed to advise me of the progress. I arrived back at the dealership and picked up keys from cashier. The process was seamless and the staff were very professional and helpful. I plan on returning to this dealer for any future service. Thank you for a good experience.

Took my New Ram Truck over for maintenance with a four-week advance appointment. They never called to inform me if the diagnosis was ever performed and when I called my service agent, he keep giving me excuses of why they cannot get to it as soon as possible. I was never given a loner; truck was in the shop for a week and still not investigated Diagnosed to figure out why I dropped it off. Finally took the truck away to a different dealership. This was my worse experience ever at Tom. I hope or wish that service tech will be retained and pay more attention to customer interest. Be more communicated and at least give a customer a loner if you are keeping their car/truck for more than a day/.

We did run into an issue with the vehicle got it in, less than a week later, they gave me a vehicle to use while mine was being fixed and they completely paid for my vehicle to be fixed since we noticied the issue immediately. The team was very nice and timely. However, apart from the standard maintenance items, our van had an issue with some noise coming from the rear wheel. I had authorized some work that would take care of the issue. When picking up the car I paid assuming all issues were fixed. Nobody approached me stating the issue was still there and what the next steps would be. Upon driving away, the noise was still there, even before leaving the parking lot. So I authorized work that cost $138 that did nothing and nobody said anything about it not working. Lastly, Note this is a hybrid Pacifica so the service intervals per the owners manual is every 10k miles. However, the next recommended service on the windshield is listed in 6k miles. Small over site not worth lowering stars for the review, but it makes me wonder if the technician followed the maintenance plan for a hybrid versus a normal Pacifica (not sure if they are different).In summary, I did not enjoy the experience of paying for something without any communication that is didn’t solve the issue.

Worst service ever!!! Went in for front wheel noise, they suggested a front right wheel bearing. I paid $600 for the repair just to find out literally within minutes of leaving that I really needed a left front wheel bearing instead. The car wobbled and made loud noises within minutes of pulling off the lot. It was in a worse condition then what I brought it in :( oh they offered me $100 off to repair the “correct” side.

Brought car in for Express maintenance check. Told service agent that I had a light come on my dashboard A!, and to check headlights. The agent said everything checked out to be fine except my wipers which would be $24-25. I agreed to get wipers replaced. When completed I asked the agent if she had them check my lights, she said yes and they were fine. I asked her to check them as I turned on my lights as I knew one needed to be replaced. She agreed the front light was out. This was after I waited 1 1/2 hrs. When I checked out they said it would be $79, each blade was $24!!!! Geez, after I drove 2 miles down the road, the A! light came on again:(

The dealership diagnosed the issue, lent us a vehicle until a rental could be issued (which they arranged for us too), keeping me informed during every step of the process. THIS IS THE WORST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD! I bought a 2018 Pacifica on July 3rd and I am still having issues.First, the vehicle was not detailed very well. I had to clean it after I got it home.I had to take the vehicle in for hail damage (which I was aware of). When I got it back, my start/stop system stopped working. It was a full 2 weeks before it would be fixed. When I finally got it back another warning light started coming on when I start the vehicle, like they didnt reset the system, and they refuse to fix it. In the meantime, my trade in loan was not paid off and I got an email stating it was late. When the payoff was sent, it was $33 short. Now, I got a message today saying they are having issues with my trade-in title.I will never be back to this place!DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!

We had dropped our van off the night before because we had an 8am appointment time to get the lock fixed on the slide door. I had to call/text at 3pm to find out what was going on with the car. I was told the technician just looked at it? (We had an 8am appointment time) I did not understand but was told it was due to our place in line to see the technician. (Again does not make any sense) Then was told they needed to get the part but it was to late in the day they would need to keep the car the next day. At 3 the following day I received a text message the car was done but they needed to submit the paperwork and would call me once it was okay to pick up that was an hour later. We picked up the car and found grease on the outsides door handle and spots of grease all on the door frame and door inside. Also when they called to tell me what the problem with the door to get the okay to fix it they told me other services they could do like replace fluids and air filters that needed it and that I could use new tires. But never thought to add air to the low tire that the dashboard was saying I needed to do? Just not the service I would expect. The door was fixed and works fine in the end.

Horrible experience from the service department! Took the car to the collision center to have hail damage fixed, oil changed and sunroof fixed. Got a call from Rick in service that it was done. Went to pick it up, the hail damage had not been fixed and the rental car had already been picked up. When the hail damage had been fixed, picked up the car and was notified that the sunroof panel had been broken. It wasn’t broken broken when I dropped it off. The sunroof would just not open.

Absolutely abhorrent. Had car towed in due to an acceleration problem and general safety concern. EIGHT days later( and a hundred phone calls as we were out a car and stranded out of town) they finally came back with a quote to fix the car that was outrageous. Had to pay $165 for their “work” (diagnoses) and ultimately had car towed to a reputable mechanic. We lost time, wages, money, and sanity.

Chuck was a wonderful salesman, he wasnt pushing me in anyway. I told him what I wanted and lead to where they were parked and told me when i was ready, I could find him on the showroom floor. What i liked the most was he never not one time questioned me like, are you sure because it is a truck or do think a car would be better for you. Here is the best one yet, why a 4×4, do you know how to use it. Chuck was great he never talked down to me because I was a woman. Thank you for treating me like i had a brain and truly was one of his own family members.

I have never in my life every rated anyone or any business with a one star but after giving them a MONTH to try and fix it. I would rate them at a zero if I could I purchased my 2021 Jeep a month ago it was practically brand new only had 2000miles on the car buying process was amazing but everything after has been a nightmare my jeep is still in the previous owners name i have called the dealership multiple times even spoke with the sales manager which got me no where he promoissed to call me back by the end of the day never happened and i have spoken with him on two different days. the promises they tell you are not true they still have not sent my documents to sirius /uconnect i’ve had my jeep for a month and can’t even use the app because customer service says the jeep is in another’s owners name. I also had a oil change schedualed and guess what at check out guess who’s car still in another persons name ME….I called chevy To complain because thus honestly was the last straw. I was on the phone for THREE hours to try and fix this myself which I eventually did. I will say what they promised me at the dealership and what Siruis told me was too different things I wish I would do made my almost 70k purchase somewhere else, honestly it was BY FAR the WORST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE I have and i mean Ever had. i would never purchase from them again highly dissapointed in their customer service approach which is none existence.

I searched for the vehicle I wanted (all white Jeep Wrangler Sahara) and landed on Tom O’Brien’s website. I submitted an inquiry and was pleasantly met with an email instead of the usual barrage of immediate phone calls. I spoke with Kevin on Friday afternoon. Got all the details squared away, per my request as we live over an hour from the dealership. We arrived Saturday morning at 9am and met with Stan. Got in the Jeep for a test drive by 9:15am. We had the keys and were on our way back home with our new Jeep by 10:30am.Seriously one of the easiest, painless, and pleasant car buying experiences we’ve ever had. We will definitely check this dealership again in the future!

If zero stars were an option I’d be selecting that. Among the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I bought a used Jeep with only one key fob, that fully functioned. I brought it in to have them make a second key for the low low price of $235 (highway robbery) and when I went to pick it up the technician told me the original key had a fault not caused by them and no longer worked. So to recap I brought them a working key paid $235 for a second working key and still left with only one working key and somehow it is not their fault. They refused to make me a second working key and we’re all around rude and smug about it. I wouldn’t let these people work on my soapbox derby car.

Terrible service again we are 2/2. We went in this time for oil change and tire rotatation. They decided not to rotate the tires. I called my advisor no call back.The first visit was oil change from hell. The tech didn’t put oil cap on or tighten the drain plug. They had to tow the jeep back to the dealership.We waited 2hrs for the tow. You can’t make this up.AVOID Tom OBrien jeep dealership.

Will not go back. My husband and 4 year old went to get oil change and tire rotation/repair—-something we were told not to make an appointment for (our appt time was canceled). When they got there, they were told it would take an hour to hour and 15 minutes. 3 and 1/2 hours later the work was finally completed! Over three hours trying to entertain a child! We can get the same work done at any number of places in far less time and not have to arrange child care.

I went in looking for a new car and they were extremely helpful! Kevin O’Brien and Matt O’Brien showed me all the models I wanted to test drive and let me take them for a test drive. They gave me their honesty opinions on what they would do if they were in my shoes and I feel extremely comfortable I made the right choice. I ended up with a salesman named Chuck that my mom disliked she felt he was rushing me and was very pushy even told me this car isn’t brand new so it’s not going to be perfect. I’m new to this Jeep life and he did not show me how to operate a thing another salesman gave me a storage bag for my top. I will never buy another Jeep from Chuck or Tom O brien I got played but I do like the Jeep

Not happy at all. Went in for a 60,000mile service, oil change and to check the suspension. Had the truck all day and did nothing. Didn’t even take it back to the mechanic. No call to update and they ended up having the truck overnight so I couldn’t go anywhere. Cost me two Uber trips for nothing done. Tried to call service manager, left message and no return call.Will not recommend their service department to anyone in the future.

Stan and Jackson went above and beyond to make sure we felt confident in the pre-owned vehicle we purchased from them. They extended us an opportunity to have our own mechanic inspect it before purchase and covered the one thing that was noted as needed to repair. Despite this precaution, the battery on the vehicle went out in the car soon after purchase and they just handled it. No qualms or back and forth. They just took care of it. They stake a lot on their reputation and based on my experience it’s well earned. I wouldn’t hesitate to do business with them again.

We purchased our vehicle (2013 Town & Country Van) from this dealership new, at their suggestion choosing to purchase the extended warranty at the time of purchase. On what is now the third different occasion since the time of purchase the vehicle has broken down in the same fashion, each time this dealership has repaired something different, at our cost not covered under the warranty they sold us. On 11/25/20 with our children in the van the Axle broke while traveling on I-465 in Indianapolis. We were luckily able to get off the exit, (37 south), and then be towed to the dealership. A week later we received a phone call stating it was the Axle that malfunctioned in the vehicle which is covered by the warranty they sold us through MOPAR, however that part caused further damage to the vehicle and per Chrysler and MOPAR they will not cover that damage thus expect the owner to pay $725 to fix the vehicle. They further stated it was the owners fault for driving the vehicle after the Axle malfunctioned. We attempted to explain to them the vehicle broke down on 465, we couldnt have driven the vehicle if wed wanted to, we were lucky to get off the interstate and call a tow truck versus getting into an accident with our children in the van.Chrysler immediately stated while they (Service Department) agree with us there is nothing they can do, further stating that even though they recommend purchasing the additional warranty at the time of purchase its legally with another company and we must file a claim with them directly. We immediately filed that complaint with MOPAR, and to date have attempted to contact MOPAR 18 times in the 40 days since the van broke down, with no resolution, only that the claim had been escalated for a Supervisors review. We have attempted to call Chrysler, specifically Tom OBrien Jr., at the direction of the Service Personnel and Front Desk, and left three additional voicemails for Tom OBrien Jr., with no return phone call.Further troubling matters we drove to the dealership to retrieve our belongings from the van on 12/21/20 only to find the van completely unlocked in the parking lot. We retrieved our items and notified the dealership that no one was returning our calls, and the van had now been there for almost a month. No further correspondence, return voicemail, etc., from MOPAR nor Chrysler has been received as of writing this review (1/4/21). As we sit and await MOPAR and Chryslers decision to repair our vehicle due to a malfunctioning Axle at 91,200 miles please use caution when purchasing, leasing, or repairing your vehicle. Further should you be presented with an extended warranty option through MOPAR I would caution you as via our experience their customer service is completely unacceptable.A quick update after hearing our van was completed, and paying an amount that is still under dispute for a malfunctioning axle at 91,000 miles, we were given our van with parts still lying in the back middle of the vehicle. After waiting an additional 45 minutes to have a mechanic available to finish the repair we then left.

Made an online appointment in my first visit to this particular dealership. Almost 2 weeks out. Arrived on time and was told by service advisor that it would probably be mid-afternoon before the car would be ready. Fours hours to wait. And he hadn’t even asked what the problem was yet. I had a low beam bulb out. Two different auto parts stores tried unsuccessfully to replace. One said it might be a wiring issue. That is why I booked the service appointment. As it turned out, the service adviser (after 15 minutes) said the bulb was not completely inserted so obviously wouldn’t work. When mechanic inserted the bulb I had purchased at auto parts store, it blew. Mechanic replaced with Mopar bulb and it worked properly. I was charged for full labor ($62), $42 for (a $15) bulb, and $3.75 for bulb disposal fee. So I essentially paid $111 for a bulb. I will NEVER set foot in this dealership again. What a ripoff! However, the waiting room couch was very comfortable.

I had been extremely happy with this dealership until a recent incident with their service department left me furious and paying for the same repair twice in less than a week. I will never go back for service nor to purchase my next vehicle. This dealership was willing to lose a customer (who is a lifelong Chrysler owner) over a few hundred dollars through some shady business practices that came straight from the top.Previous Review:Had our transmission die. Happily, when I purchased the vehicle I had been offered a lifetime warranty. Knowing I planned to keep the vehicle for some time, I purchased the warranty. I saved over $4,000 as a result and the vehicle was fixed in less than a week (including the Christmas holiday). Im thankful for the salesperson making me aware of the available warranty, which ultimately paid for itself and then some. Also grateful to the service staff for being kind and efficient.

Salespeople were pushy and misleading when we were trying to buy out my leased vehicle. The leasing agent intentionally tried to mislead us, assuming we were ignorant, and even went so far as to explain how car insurance works to my husband and I. The financial staff were pleasant and easy to work with. Now that we have ended the lease and are paying to own the car, we are still getting emails about my lease ending soon. I am glad to be done with this dealership and will not be back.

* Update*The dealership manager contacted us and did offer a free service to us. It is not valued at $2600.00, but it is a goodwill gesture which I appreciate. The fact that they addressed our concern and tried to make amends has lead me to alter my prior review.We purchased a Jeep and then when we got home we found the exact Jeep (VIN matched) advertised online for $2600.00 less at O’Brien. The dealership would not honor that price and repeatedly blamed the 3rd party vendor. The vendor does not just make up a price...that information was obtained from the dealership. We will not purchase another vehicle there and would recommend that people steer clear of TOM O’BRIEN dealerships.

Sales process was standard, nothing exceptional and nothing bad. However since the purchase their service department has been terrible. No one ever seems to know what is going on. They are solely focused on completing a task and not customer service. I had scheduled an appointment to have them look at an electrical issue and after having it for 8 hours no one had even looked at it yet. So what was the point of even scheduling an appointment? Today I called with a simple question about my extended warranty and the lady was completed confused and just transferred to someones voicemail with no warning. My future vehicles will not be from here.

Steven Morris was amazing, I took my 2020 Gladiator to check the steering wheel box issue and after the inspection and diagnostic he ordered the necessary parts and returned my car. Took more than I would like to get the parts, but for sure not the fault of Steven or O’Brien Dealer, they kept me informed about the expected delivery date and answered all my text messages in a few minutes. Finally they got the parts and we scheduled the visit, all was done in half a day and I got my car back in perfect condition. Overall very friendly and prompt service with oil changes without appointments 1 hr wait or so. Staff has been friendly.However I will not be utilizing them for service in the future. I took my jeep there under warranty for door seal replacements on both doors 2 yrs ago. I was clear that the drivers side was the worst and leaked when it rained. My jeep was only a year old.They called to let me know it was done after a day or two. When I picked it up, they had only replaced the passengers side. I was too nice and should have made a stink then and had them replace it before taking it home but I was in a bind. It’s never convenient to leave your daily driver for several days.I told him my concern that my warranty would run out before I could have it replaced and he said “no worries I will make a note of this and it will be covered” I didn’t realize how much timehad gone by which is my fault but when inquiring about it during another service, they conveniently have have no record of this “non repair”and they would gladly replace it for around 280.00dollars. They usually give a year window. Makes sense. I am at fault too, but it should have been fixed the first time.Moral of the story “don’t take your jeep home if it’s not done correctly!”

I had put money down on a 2020 on October the 8. The truck was supposed to be transferred from a dealership farther away to the dealership closest to me within 72 hour. That truck was sold days after I put money down on it. I did not find this out until almost 3 weeks later. David, the sales agent, sent me to Fort Wayne to get other one. On the way there I received the phone number to the dealership that had the truck I was picking up but instead had to turnaround because that truck was already was sold. For the 3rd truck I was told I had to drive to Arizona to pick it up, which I refused to do. Next alternative was to order a 2021. In turn I ordered one under the impression from john that I would get the friends and family discount (verbally) plus the rebates (in writing) on the truck. The truck came in on January 9 and I went to pick it up. When I arrived, I then found out that no rebates nor the friends and family discount that I was told I would receive from the the ordeal with the trucks before would be honored. I also had in writing that the price would not exceed beyond a certain amount and yet they wanted an additional $8K for the truck. I dealt with both David and John.Reply to dealership: Does this give the salesperson leave to offer discounts and say that the price will not go above a certain amount and then say that they can no longer honor that agreement? I appreciate the refund of my money, but I would have rather had the truck that I wanted, that was promised to me, and that I took such trouble and time with Tom OBrien to try and buy. I honestly feel like I received the run-around for the last few months. Massive disappointment and no way to treat a customer. I will still buy the truck I need, but it will not be from this dealership. I prefer to give my money to someone who will appreciate the sell and treat me like a valued customer.
