I have been a repeat customer for a couple of years, at this particular shop, there has been 3 different groups of managers and employees there, I had my oil changed on Thursday afternoon and was given an assessment of what needed to be done, oil pan gasket and a oil pan, said gasket is leaking, Im somewhat of a mechanic myself, if the gasket was leaking it wouldnt have dabs of oil spots from fingers on the bottom of the pan, also I dont have any leaks on my driveway or my assigned parking space at my place of employment. Meineke this guy that is there is going to mess up the Meineke brand, because of doing unnecessary work on vehicles that dont need it, Im actually thinking of taking my business elsewhere because of the unprofessional way this new manager actually tried to get extra money from me for work that isnt needed, be careful people and dont trust this guy as long as Bob is the manager there I will not be back.

Was stranded between Columbus and chicago with a broken water pump.they fit me in right away and tried very hard to fix it that day. Tried two different pumps that initially appeared be the right part but were not due to car having different engine than typical for the model. Then knowing we would be stranded or have to rent a car if not fixed that day they tried unsuccessfully to retrofit one then later were able to get the right part and have it ready when we came back through Indy on our way home. Did not try to charge me extra for additional labor or try to sell me a new belt. Said the old one was still good. I really appreciate that they knew we were at their mercy and did all they could to help us instead of trying to take advantage of us.

Brad and the staff at East Washington were really courteous. I now know what things need to be taken care of on my car. I got the oil change special that gives you the diagnostic for free. This was a great experience. Thanks Meineke!

I was concerned about a road noise and that it might be my wheel bearing. They got me right in and checked it and also inspected my car to make sure everything was ok. I was traveling to Texas from Indiana so it gave me peace of mind that everything was ok. Ive already recommended them to my son.

They do most things here. Cheaper then others in the area. All new brakes for under $700, all new parts. And they will not tell that the work needs to be done if is not nesscery

This shady place is one of the worst. They kept my car for over an hour for an inspection only to lie to my face and say I needed all new pads and rotors plus some other things it all equal to $1300 dollars. I took it to Andy Mohr they showed me my pads and rotors were still fairly new and I didn’t need any service. Tom was a great actor faking compassion and understanding to get a sell. 0 stars for these dudes

Had a scheduling mixup, I was told 9 AM but was put in the 11 AM slot. I pulled up just b4 9 AM and was told bout the mixup but they still took me in and did the oil change and diagnostic at 9 even tho they were busy. They were done in bout 45 min. Great service.

Do not bring your car here. Brought my fiancé’s car in for an oil change. Car was not leaking oil before we brought it in. We bring the car back after the oil change and a week or two goes by. Noticed the car was dripping a good amount of oil on our garage floor. Brought the car back to have them take a look and they claimed it could be coming from one or multiple spots. They wanted to start with replacing the valve gasket covers on top of the engine. I said too bad it wasn’t just the oil drain plug improperly installed. They charged us $300 dollars for the repair. A week goes by and the car is still dripping oil. Brought it to a different shop and they said the wrong oil drain plug was installed and it was also missing the gasket that sits in the drain plug. Car has not leaked anymore oil since. The Meineke shop is denying they installed the wrong drain plug and refusing to give us our $300 back. Impeccable timing with the stimulus check coming out right around the same time.

Coolant work completed. Coolant still leaking. Took to dealer after repair and they indicated over charged for parts by Meineke by $130 and work was not completed fully

Great work on our cars. Got us back on the road.

I made an 8am appt. Originally for an alignment, tail lights, oil change and rotation. Turned into struts. Was still on track to get the car back same day as planned. At some point the manager left sick. When i still hadnt heard from them by 5PM, I went back. They were now trying to get me to leave it overnight. And that no taillights were even on my ticket, nor replaced nor even in stock. I was told by the fill in manager that the alignment, struts, oil change and rotation had all been done. We didnt leave until 645pm. And the rotation was not done so I was blatantly lied to. It took a week to get back in there to get the rotation done and I was not apologized to for being lied to or the trouble I had gone through at that point. I have been a long term Meineke customer but this location is horrible, will not return.

They were very helpful with explaining what was wrong and what could be done to fix it. They sent texts with pictures of their findings and a full report with everything they checked. They asked for my approval of what I wanted them to do and got everything done same day. I appreciated everything they did to get my vehicle fixed and get me back the road.

I took my car in 2 days for an odd brake issue I was having. I spoke with the manager Kevin on the phone beforehand and we discussed what was happening and how we could go about diagnosing it. I took my car in and he was very thorough while the car was in his car. He bled the brakes, and did a few other things to double check everything was locked on and performing as it should. When I finally got my car back I paid my bill (only 60 bucks) which was very reasonable, we chatted for a minute about the vehicle and went on my way. Very professional, very timely, I would recommend Meineke to others.

You have a sign up saying free brake inspection, only to be told you don’t do walk in brake inspections. Then say you can leave it for several hours with no set timeframe of when you can look at it . This is why I don’t deal with this company !!! Need better details about and time frames

This Meineke location is awesome! The Manager Kevin, is thorough and very knowledgeable as well as professional. The guy working on my vehicle also took care of everything and was very honest with the assessment and the work needed to be done prior to doing anything. His name was Al. I searched through hundreds of reviews for local shops on the east side, and this one stood out as being honest and efficient. They are veteran friendly too! Thanks for great service from the woman answering the phone to gents turning wrenches! Edit: I had new brakes, rotors, and shocks installed as well as an oil change.

The store manager was really professional and accommodating. He gave ma an honest analysis of my xar and dud not try to make money off of me with unnecessary charges. I appreciate him for that and i will come back when i need car services.

Yesterday the Meineke on E. Washington St. wasgoing to charge me 1600.00 for a battery and alternator install. I thought that was extreme so I told them Id look elsewhere. They left the top cover of my battery off. I dont know if it was on purpose or not

I got a oil change and the manager Kevin explained what needs to.be done on my next oil change and they were very affordable. Everybody there are super friendly and helpful. Im definitely going back and recommend them.

I got an oil change, which was fine. Also, an ac check. They couldn’t tell me what exactly was wrong. They wanted to recharge it for $130, so see if the compressor was working. I could have put a can of refrigerant in it before I got there. It was supposed to be a free ac check. So, I was a little disappointed to not find out what my ac issue is.

I visited this place couple days back. I was travelling from Cincinnati to Chicago & my car broke with engine signal. This service center performed diagnostic & called out the false signal. They didnt even charge me for this service.! He was polite enough.

I took my car in for an inspection of the exhaust system after having work done at a dealership and finding that my car was sounding louder than normal. I had an appointment within a day of calling and these guys had me in and it of there in less than an hour. Some places try to take advantage of you with either labor, upselling or hidden costs, but they were straight to the point, and in fact, I came out paying unexpectedly less than I hoped for. I will be back if this is how theyre taking care of their customers. This was a very good experience.

DO NOT GET YOUR OIL CHANGED HERE! My daughter had her oil changed on June 1, 2020. The tech forgot to replace a filter which caused her engine to lock up! A simple oil change turned into a nightmare! They have had her car for 3 weeks, did not offer a refund for the oil change, no offer of a rental, and have given us nothing but attitude and excuses. They replaced the engine, but then tried to send her away WITHOUT an invoice detailing what was done or which parts were replaced and did not produce a warranty for the engine! They wrote the words 6 month warranty on the back of the managers business card, as if that was ok!!!BTW, the tech still works there. He is a heavy set white guy with a black ponytail.My next steps will be a video of our interactions with the staff and social media blast!

DO NOT GET YOUR OIL CHANGED HERE! I am following up on a review written by my mother regarding my Ford Focus. I took my car in for an oil change on June 1, 2020. Two days later, I had to have it towed to my mechanic because it wouldnt start. Turns out, the tech either forgot to replace my oil cap or over tightened it and it blew off, causing my oil to drain out and my engine to lock up!Kevin agreed to fix it, but did so, on the side or after hours which caused them to have my car for nearly 3 weeks with no offer of a rental.My car is BACK at my mechanics! It started leaking oil again! THIS TIME...the timing cover was over tightened, and I am back to square one! I called Kevin, the store manager, and asked if he would give us the money to have it repaired by my mechanic and he refused - even though he completely understood why I did not want to take it back to his shop!DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS LOCATION! We will be organizing a boycott of this location! A car care company that cant do a simple oil change does not need to be in business ...doing oil changes! FYI - Last we checked, the guy who originally messed up the oil change, still works there!

Ive exclusively used Meineke for the past 6 months now. My location is always on the spot with scheduling, prompt, and efficient. The staff is friendly and most importantly honest. Theyre happy to answer any of the million questions I have. They do great work. Ill definitely continue to be a loyal customer.

They have coupons available you can use. They got me in within a day. I was able to drop my car off in the morning and pick it up after work. I will be taking my car back here for all oil changes.

The people were great. Fast, friendly and professionals work their service. Everything was good except having to leave and come back in 5 hours because they only do oil changes by appointments only.

I got a flat tire on the interstate and was towed there by AAA. They were super busy so I had to wait about 1 1/2 hours, but they were super respectful and helpful!

Very professional and courteous. Unlike other “Lube Garages” I was not pressured into buying other services. I went there for an oil change only. They showed me the price and that’s what I paid. However, they did check the pressure in my tires. Turns out my front passenger side tire was down a little and they took care of it. Wouldnt go anywhere else to get automotive service. They are always staying to finish a job rather than locking their doors right at quitting time, causing the customer to be without a vehicle another day. Very friendly and they make sure to let you know the charge before any work is done. If they find additional problems, they call the customer before doing addtional work resulting in unexpected charges. Have been very happy with the work performed. Mechanics are very thorough and knowledgeable.

I made an appointment for 5pm on a Friday. I arrived on time and I was driving home by 5:25pm. I chose this shop because they were listed on the AAA website. I was able to use a coupon which gave a bigger discount than my membership. Also, the young lady, April, who set up my appointment conducted herself very professionally both by phone and in person.

I felt sorry for the guys The managment has changed and its hard trying to start at a new place They refunded my money because I waited a hour and a half for a oil change They had to order the filter and that took a while But they did refund my money I wished them well on their job

Greed. That is only word I can use to describe this place. I take the car in to fill up my oil and break fluid. Brakes are working fine. While I left them the car they told me I should replace all brake lines for $800! Let me be clear here. These brake lines cost $4 a piece from Autozone and I supposedly needed 6 replaced for a total of $24! I asked a mechanic that’s a friend of the family what kind of labor goes into something like this. He said maybe 3-4 hours. By this logic this “business” seems to believe that an hour of their time is worth $200. The worst part about this place is that after I denied this absurd offer I came to pick up my car and I have no working brakes. I had absolutely no problems using the brakes driving it to the place, my light came on to refill brake fluid and get an oil changed. I have no idea what they did that resulted in my car having no ability to brake. I risked my life trying to get it home and I will NEVER go back to this place. PLEASE, FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY AND DIGNITY, DO NOT GO HERE!

Went to get an oil change and replace brake pads & rotors. Had to drop-off and pickup my vehicle after-hours, so my only communication was over the phone. They were polite and gave good deal. Upon bringing the vehicle back home however, there were 2 issues.1) The entire inside of the vehicle smelled of cigarette smoke. It took a few days to air out our vehicle. 2) Our power steering wasnt working well. We had it checked out by another auto shop and it looks like Meineke had used transmission fluid as a substitute for our power steering fluid, presumably to save cost. Might have been fine on older vehicles, but ours did not take to it well!

I have visited the Meineke location on E. Washington street several times and have found them to be mindful and considerate of my time and wallet. I appreciate this because I have been taken advantage of before from other auto repair companies.

Great shop to do business with the only reason why they did not get five stars was because I had to return a few times to get it completely finished... However they did correct their mistakes

I walked in on my day off for an oil change.The receptionist was very polite and got me taken care of immediately.They changed my oil in under 30 minutes and the total came to $22.65. It was a no hassle service. They didnt try to sell me on any extras or convince me to get any work done I hadnt asked for.This will be my new places for oil changes from now on. I would reccomend thos place to anyone based on my first experience.

I took my car to meineke at 8410 E.washington st to have a intake timing solenoid and a exhaust solenoid fixed May 4 /2020 and the car was not fixed right I had to take it back the next day to have them see what they did wrong

This place is run like a zoo. They have kids running around theyre shop all the time. It takes almost an hour to do an oil change there. You used to be able to go and get an oil change in about 20mins. Guess they fired that guy
