Do not take your car here. Find another place. I did business with this place for 6 months. The first time I took my car here, they took about a week and a half to have everything fixed. When I got my car back, one of their employees broke something in the car, so I had to take it back to get it fixed(free of course, because they broke it, they did question me though as if I broke something right after receiving the car, shake my head). First red flag. The next time I took my car to get fixed, they took a very long time, about a month. This place works slow, they dont give you a loaner car, (prepare to be stranded or paying for Ubers). They do not repair things well, I constantly had to take my car back just so they could fix things that shouldve been dealt with in the first place. This place blames you for their issues, and they are never held accountable because of the paperwork you sign. They also quote you a price, just for you to come in and for it to be more expensive. Ive spent ~$2,500 at this place and never again will I give these people another penny.I now go to Euro Motorworks and this place is way better! They also have loaner cars so you arent stuck and they work by appointment meaning when you make an appointment, your car will be worked on that same day. Petes will literally keep your car for a week even if you have an appointment. Dont believe Brett. Im pretty sure these positive reviews are fake.

Ive been taking my cars to Petes for about 10 years or more even bought 1. They have always been good doing solid work. Eric especially really good guy. If you have a foreign whip i highly recommend

My Volvo was on its way out (2010 XC60) and Petes staff immediately knew what was wrong and saved me from having to purchase a mass air flow sensor to the tune of $150+. They also diagnosed some problems better than the dealer; the dealer hadnt caught some issues and as such, they became a larger problem over time. I wish I had used Petes sooner! Highly recommend for European cars.

Cant say enough positive things about Petes. Besides taking my Maserati there for outstanding service, recently an issue arose while I was getting new tires installed elsewhere. They could not figure out how to remove one of the bolts and said I had to take it to the dealership. I called Petes and spoke with Brett and he said bring it over to take a quick look. I did and within a few minutes, he and one of his service team identified the issue. No charge and with such professionalism and friendliness. I highly, highly recommend Petes and all the outstanding professionals that work there!

My daughter attends Butler University. Her Volvo had a serious coolant leak, and Im 200 miles away. I called Petes because they specialize in Europeans and only 10 away from the University. Good thing we have AAA because we had to tow the Volvo. The coolant reservoir was cracked. Petes order the part, had it fix in no time. Great service, Very Personable, Great communications. I have used Pete’s twice now, and have had great experiences both times. The first of which I brought my Saab in for them to replace my headlight after we lost the clip for it while trying to replace the light at home. They were creative in fixing the problem and actually used a Mercedes clip as they’re apparently almost identical. They also replaced my windshield wiper fluid nozzles and diagnosed other issues with my vehicle. They use an online system to send you information about your repair and will even post pictures and notes to help you better understand the work they’re doing before you opt-in or out of the job.The second time I brought my car in for a very last minute oil change and they actually stayed late to finish it up so I could leave for a trip the following morning. Josh is really great to work with, always greets me by name and is pleasant to talk to whenever I stop by the shop. It sometimes takes a little while to get a call back from the shop, but in my experience they stick to their promised times even if they haven’t called with an update (and sometimes even finish ahead of schedule!).

When I first walked in they were totally booked, but Mike said hed work my 1979 TVR in asap. He contacted me with an opening & they resolved all issues within a few days: carburetor issues, tuning, rear brakes & chassis lube. They test drove the car to see that the engine was running & idling well. They are very knowledgeable & the price was reasonable.

All interactions with Brett greatly appreciated but disappointing that one wheel was completely covered in orange brake dust. (After 4 new brake pads and rotors applied). All other 3 wheels were fine. Took me one hour to clean off the one wheel. Other than that, I would recommend Pete’s.

They did a great job on my truck. And overall it was good experience. My only issue with them was that my truck was not done when promised.

Not pleased. Dropped car off, indicating the drive belt had sheared off. Asked for a quote to replace the belt. I was never told I would be charged a “diagnosis fee”. Needless to say, I was shocked when told I had to pay $150.00. Wold not recommend to others.

I brought my daughters car here based on the good reviews. I spoke to Brett several times regarding her car, he was very communicative and informative. She had a major oil leak and power steering leak. They did an excellent job on her car as far as fixing those leaks. While it wasnt cheap, it was still worth it because she no longer has a leak. Right now we do have to take it back because its making a noise that it wasnt before, actually a very loud noise that was not there before. I spoke to Brett again about it, and he said to bring it so they can look it. I would definitely bring her car and/or any other foreign (which I plan on purchasing one soon). I would highly recommend this place for their foreign cars!

Communication was fantastic! They send out very detailed estimates with pictures and detailed breakdown of what’s needed. They also prioritized the issues, and mentioned some things should be saved for future maintenance. Wasn’t cheap, great service never is. Only thing that would’ve really made it exceptional is efforts made to vacuum or clean windows. I’ve had that with oil changes elsewhere and it’s a really nice touch.

My vehicle was a 28 years old and I was told by another shop that the repairs were not possible. Petes repaired everything at a reasonable cost.

Used Pete’s Service Center for a Pre Purchase Inspection of a Porsche from a local independent shop. Inspection was one time and comprehensive, with clear pictures and notes. Was very useful in both seller and buyer having a basis for negotiation on repairs.

While Petes was very thorough and efficient, got us in quickly, and had great customer service, we were able to get the same work done at EP Werks in Noblesville for $1,100 less. As Petes IS so thorough, they also added about 7 other small things that needed serviced on my Audi, which other service centers had not expressed any concern about. I would just recommend getting a second or third estimate before spending your money there.

I am so thrilled to have found Petes Service Center! They did a phenomenal job on my old Land Rover. I was a bit apprehensive to try a new repair shop- my vehicle is quite durable and honestly doesnt require much maintenance. But Indys potholes proved otherwise and I needed service badly. The location is great for me, they assisted with a flatbed recovery truck, the repair was done with incredible speed, decent cost, and most importantly, my vehicle runs like a champ again. There is no other place I would take my Mercedes Benz than to Pete’s. The mechanics are World Class and treat you with respect and professionalism. The owner, Eric, kept me informed and made certain I had a loaner vehicle since I also had body work done after the mechanical work. Petes Service Center did an amazing job fixing multiple issues with my Audi. Not only it was very fair price but they fixed the car super fast. I know if I took it to Audi dealer it would take at least 10 business days vs 3 days with Pete. Eric - the owner is also super easy to communicate with. My car had been sitting for several weeks and when I went to drive it, it was dead. I called Pete’s Service Center and asked if they would be willing to stop by our house to jump the car (we live in the neighborhood) and he said he would be here in a short while. I wanted to say thank you for looking after my car and resolving my problem as I had a neighborhood person to put my brakes on. I was hearing a lot a rattling and noise when going over bumps I had took it to another place not a car dealership and they could not find the problem made appointment with Pete service center and Bratt and his team took care of me. This was not a foreign car but they still took good care of me. I drive a 2011 Kia Optima. I would recommend Pete service center to anyone without a doubt. I had an absolute wonderful experience here. I called about replacing a head light on my Mercedes. They said to just stop in and they would take a look. I stopped by after work and to my pleasant surprise he went outside right away (in the pouring rain might I add) to fix the bulb. While fixing the bulb he noticed a spring was missing which would have caused the bulb to melt the plastic! After he saw that he was able to get the car in the shop and have the mechanic quickly fix that issue. I was so impressed by the the work ethic and ability to help right away! I literally only there for 30 minutes and my headlight was fixed. To make my experience even better they just charged me for the bulb! Therefore, the cost was a 1/3 of what the dealership quoted me on the phone and I would have had to wait 1/5 weeks to get it fixed. This place is amazing and I would highly recommend it to everyone!Top notch customer service. (FYI I have also visited the one in the Carmel which was great as well!)

So a gentleman named Seth just charged me $177 in labor for a 20 minute evaluation of my car. Once we told him we were not going to get it fixed and to get a second opinion. I called them first because of their ratings but completely not my experience.

Ive been taking cars to Petes for more than 20 years, and Ive never had a bad experience. The current staff is top-notch-- always great service. Not the cheapest game in town, but you get what you pay for-- and what you pay for at Petes is an outstanding experience. Highly recommended.

Never been to Pete’s before although I’d heard good things about them since the 70’s. I came in a closing time with what I thought was an urgent problem. I had been to the dealer who wouldn’t look at the car even to give me an estimate. They told me to come back the next day at which time they would look at the car only if I had them do the work. They were dismissive and didn’t show much concern for my situation.Nothing like that at Pete’s! It was near closing time but they showed concern for my problem, looked at the car, gave me a picture of the damage and an estimate. They wouldn’t let me drive it and the owner took me home. I really appreciated that since I’m a widow and didn’t know who to call on short notice and since I knew I’d be Ubering all the next day.There was no “We’re all booked up”. They got it in the next day, I had it back on time and the car drives great.I will now be coming here for all my service needs. I’d been going to the dealer out of habit since all my previous cars were leased. Not any more!If you have a foreign car, I’d definitely recommend Pete’s Service Center.

We had a really good all around experience at Petes. Service and was timely and high quality. We had a couple larger issues, they kept us updated and gave the car a little extra attention to make sure they were fixed. Prices were on the high-end, but not unreasonable at all. We will be bringing our car(s) back for all our needs.

My experiences at Petes Service Center have always been excellent. I have been servicing my cars - BMW and two Mercedes - there for a number of years. I have always received superb service. They are best problem solvers, most knowledgeable, honest, and friendliest group I have ever worked with.

After reading all these positive reviews online I was excited to patron my neighborhood repair shop. I had already taken my car to the dealership for a diagnostic; but wanted to call around to other shops to get a ballpark estimate on how much it would be to replace a transmission. I was thinking anywhere between 4-8K would be reasonable. I dont remember the gentlemans name I was on the phone with but he was absolutely rude, argumentative, not helpful. Perhaps he was having a bad morning or just not interested in conversing with me. The people at the other 4 shops around the city that I called requesting the exact same information were in much better spirits and answered my questions without issue.

For seven years I have been a customer of Petes Service Center, I have recommended nine people with high line cars to Petes each have had a great experience with Eric, Seth and Petes. The ironic part is that I live in Evansville, IN. which is three and half hours from Indy where Petes is located. I travel and spend the extra money up and back, because of the trust, service, and excellent workmanship. of the total Petes team. I recently recommended to a friend in Evansville to drive up to Petes, He had his car serviced and also concluded it is worth the drive and Petes is his primary choice for service to his Benz.. My sons car stopped running on the highway Fri night, coming from Michigan, so we towed it to Petes. On Sat they looked at it but didnt provide diagnosis. On Monday, I got an estimate for $1,178 to replace battery and alternator. Cost of new battery is $160, Alt $170 from Advanced Auto.. Ill tow the car back to Michigan, fix it myself, and still save money. NO THANKS!!!Car has 150k miles on it, why would I want to put new dealer parts? Also, if you really cared, you would give option to the customer on non dealer parts versus total cost, Im certain youll get more business...

Despite the very high cost of the service on my BMW X3 (A whooping $4400 on water pump, thermostat and front and rear break pads); I feel good about the workmanship and the warranty. I will remain a customer for sure for my peace of mind; my only wish would be a request for a little slack on the punishingly high labor costs; otherwise great service!

I took my 03 Mercedes C230 (138k miles) in there because they were close to home and specialize in imports. My engine was running SUPER rough and $500+ later, they told me it would take an addition $5,700 to replace timing chain kit in addition to other engine repairs.I decided it didnt make sense for me to pay that kind of money so I just told them Id take it home and sell it. My first problem is that they really were pushing the hard sell on me to have it repaired. I ended up buying a newer Hyundai as opposed to sinking that much money into a 15 year old car. But Eric (I think was his name) kept trying to convince me that the car would be worth like $7k if fixed. I just didnt like the vibe of him trying so hard to make a sale.My second problem was when I got the car home. I had told him Id just drive it home (about a mile) and he said he didnt think it was safe. I appreciated the advice, but when I started taking pictures to sell it on Craigslist, I popped the hood and found out they hadnt even put everything back together on the engine. For $500 to look at it, youd think theyd put it back they way they found it, but nope. So I wonder whether he actually thought it was unsafe or just didnt want to bother with putting back together.Im sure these guys are competent mechanics, which is why Im giving them the extra star. And Im confident that they couldve fixed the problem. But they really gave off a bad vibe with the sales pressure and leaving things taken apart in under the hood was a really poor thing to do.

Took my 1970 Volvo P1800e into Petes because I was having some rattling noise coming out of the gearbox that was baffling the heck out of me. I couldnt figure this out on my own so I took it in to Petes. Eric and my technician there were great ! Eric spent some time verifying my problem and the tech discovered that there was a plastic protective covering under the gearbox that had worked its way loose and was rattling. My charge was minimal to fix it.I got to thinking that if I took my car in elsewhere they might have misdiagnosed my problem and told me I needed the gearbox rebuilt. I trust Eric and Petes not to mislead me like that.Also when I picked up my Volvo the tech spent several minutes with me going over some other concerns of mine with the vehicle and telling me what was a priority to fix and what wasnt. That conversation will definitely affect my future repairs with Petes. I love and trust the guys at Petes. they are great ! They know their older vehicles !

I was in the Indianapolis area visiting a friend when a service light on my Audi A6 came on. I live several hours a way and not feel comfortable driving all the way home not knowing what the problem was. I was planning on stopping by the local Audi dealer when another friend suggested I go to Petes Service Center as this is who they used for their Land Rover and I would get service faster and for less and he know they serviced Audis. So I went by their shop near Broadripple and the manager Eric said he knew my friend and that they have been servicing his cars for a few years now. He got my Audi in within just a few minutes and was able to take care of a small issue, turned the service light off and its been about a week now since Ive been back and Ive no further issues! Sometimes life really is all about who you know....thank you Petes for taking such great care of me and if I lived in the area you would certainly have earned my future business.

Although the services may seem pricey, I would say it is worth every penny I spend. Eric is always my go to guy at this place, he’s very welcoming and he ensures that you recieve personalized individual attention. He always calls you back with regular updates on the status of your car and he explains all services being perfomed clearly. I could not be happier and would recommend this place to anyone that wants quality service anytime!

Fair prices, honest, and reliable. They repaired my 2004 Jaguar cooling system and when a hose they fixed broke again the following month replaced it free of charge.

I was charged $530 in storage fees while trying to work out how i was going to pay $7000 for a new engine!! Which i really can not blame them them too much for even though i wasnt told about storage fees until a week and a half after... after me paying them you would think they would be nice to who ever was picking up since they had just got their moneys worth but nope, my tow truck driver told me about how they were rude to him!!

I have been taking both of our vehicles to Petes for about 3 years now and always get great service. We had a Saab that we no longer own that had a heater/air issue, they told us that they may not be able to get the part due to Saab being out of business and didnt want to tear the dash apart without being able to fix the problem. Most shops would have done the opposite.Email updates on your service schedule are a great reminder and I can almost always get my car in for an oil change/checkup on a day that works for my schedule. I wont take my cars anywhere else!

Eric, Seth, and the other mechanics at Petes were excellent! They were very prompt in fixing the issues with my Mini Cooper, and were very accommodating in their services. I will be recommending them to all my friends with foreign cars!

Good service overall. In discussing pricing before service, answers were a bit vague. Actual cost was not even close to the approximate quote. Bring $350 if your told it may cost $200.

After experiencing steering - alignment issues, Petes Service Center saved the day. Everyone I communicated with, including technicians and managers were fantastic.
