I’ve taken all my cars to Fred’s for many years. He is so Trustworthy and you know the price up front and can shop around for your own parts. Wanda at the front is also very helpful with finding parts, etc. It’s so hard to find an honest mechanic so I do not take my car anywhere else but to Fred!

Been going to Freds for years. Take him the parts he will install them. Cant get much easier than that. Fred quotes a fair and reasonable price for whatever services I need performed or to install my parts for me. Wanda (in front office) has helped me locate extra hard to find or expensive new parts by offering junkyard suggestions. Its not always easy to find parts for a full sized 4x4 SUV with 2 doors. My motorized baby born in 1998 is getting rather up there in both years and miles well over 207,000 has been serviced by Freds its entire life. Wanda even writes my shopping list for me since I tend to forget what he tells me by the time my husband rattles a bunch of unnecessary parts. Fred goes over list of parts I bring to him and doesnt have a problem telling us if we bring extra parts or forget something we do. I have no idea how much money Fred have me over the years unlike other mechanics who have you spend hard earned money unnecessarily to line their own pockets while emptying yours. All repairs to date have been completed when promised which is also a big plus!! If the guys spot things starting to need replaced they have always let us know when we pick it up. Never trying to push or shame us into doing them that trip just letting us know about it. Letting us know about what time frame so we have an idea and time to prepare. Thanks Fred, Wanda, and the rest of the crew at Freds automotive repair. Will be seeing you again. Not to soon (I hope), but again.

Dont have Freds work on your vehicle he doesnt guarantee his work. Had 2 struts put on a month ago and both new struts has went bad and he wont guarantee the labor to put new ones on again

Pretty expensive for me. Especially when Im buying the parts. Same work for $20 at home. $370 with them and that was just a quote.

They got my car checked out very quickly. I had never been there before so was unaware of the bring your own parts deal. One of the gentlemen walked with me to car part store across the street and got me Freds price on rotors. My car is AWD and needed them all around. Saved about $60 on them and they did the work for $100 labor. I had no wait and no hassle with Freds. Its driving great and the screeching is gone. I feel safe to drive it now! Ill be back for all my future repairs they can do. Thanks guys, you rock!

Did brakes on my Alero years ago and had zero issues with my experience or car after. Stopped in on a busy Saturday once with a warning light showing up on the dash. They plugged a code reader up, turned out it was my gas cap not being tightened all the way, so they reset the code for me and had me on my way FREE OF CHARGE in under 15min. Try that at a dealership! Great people, great hourly labor rates (shop around youll see for yourself) and straight shooters about your issue and possible options (if any) to get you back on the road safely with no concerns you will be dumping more money into the same issues over and over! They understand people are not made out of money.

I havent been to freds yet but Ive seen a few post with like one star talking cap one was about they didnt out enough lube on the brakes so they still squeak.. well pal you dont lube your brakes up theyre made to stop you bill like come on if youre gonna leave a bad review at least be factual and jot talk out the side of your butt please.... and some lady said they were wrong about her van that it had an oil leak in the transmission..... oil doesnt enter the transmission at all thats what transmission fluid is for oil is for motor and transmission fluid is yes you guessed it for the TRANSMISSION!!!! Come on ppl this a place of business this man and his employees depend on this place to feed their families like fa real

Power steering went out paid 300.00 dollars and they didnt fix it but charged me ... Cuz they dnt like me .me and my kids are struggling rated 0

Took my van to be looked for a leak and the AC wasnt working. He told me needed a new air compressor and I had a transmission leak. Which neither was true all I needed was a new fuse for the AC and I had a oil leak in the transmission. Wont be going back and dont recommend.

Thanks for the brakes, you never properly lubed everything and the brakes still scream. Never go here ever again, they just blamed the manufacturer and wouldnt even redo the work like or look at it.

Almost 90% of mechanic shops or automotive shops dont do timing or just take the automotive or mechanic out of all there names and they would be back yard mechanics basically dont call your self mechanics of you can do timing real talk and they do teach you that in school shameful

Dont go here they wanted $85 to do labor on my truck.Doesnt even take an hour for the labor.I had it towed back to my house to fix starter myself and went and had it tested and it passed twice with flying colors.So it is not my starter.They are a rip off and their mechanics apparently dont know squat.!!!😡
