Paid too much for them to tell me exactly what I told them. This was the second time I have taken a car to them and the first time was shotty work that someone could do in their garage. Wont be going back.

They removed the mufflers on my new car in a matter of no time, two hours and it was an excellent and professional job they even quoted me before going ahead with the job in case I wanted to change my mind and even offered me the parts they were removing because they threw them out. After getting a car in the mail of them thanking me for coming I wish I could give them 6 stars.

Overall great service. Went in with the mufflers and tips i wanted on my car. They put my car on the lift and walked over the entire job with me step by step. Gave me a better price than most places and did all the work same day. Would highly recommend.

Becks does what they say they will do. On time and very professional. They are head and shoulders above everybody else. They will bend over backwards to help the customer. Alittle more costly than most others but well worth it.They also guarantee their work.

I steered toward Beck Service Center as I had read online that their commodious parking lot was the home of two very large metal bins which were so placed to receive recyclable objects. This pair at Becks was the dropoff closest to my home in south Indy. Most of the other were adjacent to a Krogers market.

I found them to be professional, reasonably priced, great service, friendly, polite and trustworthy.

The fastest work Ive ever had done at an auto shop. Got an inspection and full suspension work with new tires all done quickly and cheaply. The tech on the phone talked me through everything and even tried to talk me out of work he didnt think was totally necessary instead of pushing for more. Definitely recommend this place.

Went in to get my tire checked for an air leak. No leak was found, but they did say found some corrosion that they were willing to clean off for $25.I agreed to it, but then they called me again and informed me that one of their mechanics broke off one of my lug nuts and expected me to fit the bill. They ended up charging me $141.If a mechanic breaks something on your car, they SHOULD NOT past the cost on to the consumer, wont be going here again!

I usually do my own work because most shops overcharge, take too long, and do shoddy work. I tried these guys out today and was very impressed. He said hed get me in the shop in an hour for exhaust work on my 09 mustang GT and he did. Took about 2 hours even as I kept adding things to the list and they were incredibly affordable. 10/10... will use again next time I have something on the stang I dont feel like doing myself :)

Amazing service from this company I bought a exhaust kit and it didnt come with all the parts it was supposed to, but they were able to make exactly what I wanted to make my truck sound amazing themselves. Kit is already on its way back, never will I trust a site for exhaust upgrades ill just go straight to these professionals!!!

I took my car in for an oil change, as I usually do, since Sears Auto closed down, they did a fast job, and reported that three light bulbs were out and asked if I wanted them to replace, I said yes and thanked then for finding the burned out bulbs. I was in & out in about an hour, and very satisfied with the service and the cost. Thanks Beck Service Center.

Used to be the “ Go to “ place. Recent years however they have turned into an $85 diagnostic turn around joint that doesn’t listen to the client. I was told 3 times in row that there was nothing wrong with my car, “ That will be $85 dollars “.I finally took my business down the road to have $2600 of work done on the issues I tried to explain to the young man at Becks.It’s a shame that my entire family trusted Becks for over a decade, now I cringe every time I drive past.

Got me in quickly, and offered an inexpensive solution to my car problem. Nice clean office/waiting area. Definitely recommend them. Even better? They offer a shuttle service if you need to drop you car off on the way into work.

I had issues with the break lines and they were able to get it in and inspect the car and fix the problem in less than one day.

I was traveling out of town for business and my car needed service. They listened and right away took really good care of me. You can trust the people at this shop. My tire rod broke on my Caddy so I called Beck because I heard good reviews. He offered towing but I used AAA. He gave me a reasonable price (I googled the national average & their price was on point). Wonderful job & quick service. I declined their offer for new tires, because I was skeptical of the need for them. After buying used tires from somewhere else I realized that their complete diagnosis, recommendation, & service was proper. I highly recommend this place.

Beck Service Center did a thorough evaluation/inspection of my car for free and allowed me to optionally decide which repairs I wanted them to carry out. Everyone was very friendly and efficient. My car drives a lot better now, and I havent had any problems since; they caught everything that was wrong and charged me for all repairs at a discounted rate!

Oh man...was a bit unsure of what to expect...even though a co-worker assure me that they are great people, of a certainty they are absolutely very professional; warm and safe environment with great staff and personality skills. I would definitely recommend someone to this location. Mind you they are a little $$ but the service is impeccable. Far better than the dealer.. the dealer rarely would call you up and tell you or show you the parts that go bad before replacement, but these people do, they took me to my car and show and explain to me in details what need to be done...and not only that, they gave me the best advise that will save me alot of headache later on. An associate recommended Becks. They quoted me a price, i had to wait 1 day for dealer parts(Parts are only available from a dealer). They finished the car when they said they would, It runs just like new, and the best part is the bill was $140. LESS than what they quoted much less than a dealer and much faster. It is hard to find honest shops, these guys stand tall. I would highly recommend this place for all your car repairs needs.

7/24/2019 I Brought my 2007 Mercury Milan in to Change a Serpentine Belt and Oil change. Service Desk got me processed quickly and got me a shuttle ride downtown very quickly, that was excellent. Two hours later got a call from the service desk advising me that I had an Oil Leak from a seal between the engine and transmission and that it was $900 repair. After checking where I park the car at home, I called my place of employment to have a colleague check my parking space to see if there was any oil that had dripped onto the asphalt, colleague advised that no oil at all. I questioned the Service Desk person about this and asked where is the Oil that is leaking going to? He couldnt answer, I declined the repair because I am trading the vehicle next spring. I am called later in the day that my vehicle is ready. When I get there, Service Desk employee wanted to show me pictures of the leak and offered to put car back on the lift rack to show me the oil that was dripping. I then asked again, where is the oil leaking to? IF there is a leak, the oil has to go somewhere? At this time, I am becoming annoyed and louder and a manager comes out of the office to explain that due to road filth and oil that has built up on the motor, it might not be leaking to the ground. At this point none of this is logical or making any sense at all. I advised I just want to pay my invoice and leave. Manager advised that I should take to another mechanic and then come back and apologize to them. I then made a comment that a Seal can be manipulated by a screw driver or a knife, so a showing me pictures or wasting my time to put the car back onto a lift is not necessary, By this time I have lost any trust or confidence in this place and I just wanted to leave. MY advice to anyone wanting to take their vehicle here would be very careful and be knowledgeable about the condition of your car prior to taking it to them. There were other issues with my car had they presented valid and logical analysis, I would have probably believed them and had them correct. Be careful using this facility!

The service was exceptional! I requested a tough engine repair on my very rusty motorhome and Ben was willing to accept the challenge. It is difficult to find RV repair service anywhere in Indianapolis and I am pleased that I found Beck Service Center. Becks motto is Beck Service Center. A sign of quality and professionalism. I couldnt agree more. Ben went out of his way to have the repair finished by the time I needed to use my RV. The repair bill was quite reasonable. I will definitely return for all my auto and RV service. I add my vote for Beck Service Center as best garage in Indianapolis!

I am 45 years old and for as long as I can remember, I have taken my cars to Beck’s (on the recommendation of my mom who also took her cars to there before me).In a world that seems to have become faster and a little less personal, I am always impressed by the friendly, knowledgeable people that handle the customer service at Beck’s. And although I don’t generally get to interact with folks in back doing the work, the repair is always top quality. I completely trust everyone at Beck’s to make my cars run smoothly and safely at a fair and reasonable price.

Was recommended by a friend for an ac service on my truck. They technician looked at it and found my ac was unplugged. This might be the only shop to not take advantage of this situation. They inspected my truck and warned me about my belts cracking and suggested changing them. But gave me the option and did not force it. Could not be happier with the honesty and service. Will never take my vehicle elsewhere.

I have regularly taken my vehicles to Becks for 3 years now. They are always very curteous and easy to work with. They complete the services in a timely manner. But the part I love about Becks the most is that they are VERY honest and trustworthy! There have been times where they couldve easily made something into a bigger, more expensive deal than it actually was, and they didnt. I give Becks credit for making our vehicles last so long.

The guys understood the dilemma of putting a lot repairs in car with 202,000 miles on it. Gave me great advice. Answered my questions. Had the job done in the time they estimated. It was pricey. The oil change seemed pretty high. But I am completely satisfied that my daughters car is safe and reliable for her to drive. Ill come back.

Used to use these guys. Had them do everything from front end work, to basic services. Were always a little on the pricey side, but you got good service. Part mark up is where they will get you though.My last work with them, had a couple parts that were marked up 400%!!!! Thats just crazy to me. I know you are going to have mark up, or they wouldnt make money, but 400%, in my mind was a bit much. This was on a radiator.I will no longer be using them, nor recommending to friends or family. Had them do ball joints, and some other front end work, in May of last year. While traveling for work this past weekend, had some excessive inside wear on a front tire. Got new tires, and took my truck to an alignment shop. They said I have play in my ball joints. So I call Becks, and apparently Im 2 months out of warranty, even on parts. Im ok with paying labor again, but why didnt they put lifetime ball joints in? I know many shops that do, and with the money theyre charging for their parts, youd think it would be lifetime warranty on parts.Needless to say, and as stated above, I will no longer be using, nor recommending Becks Service Center.

I had my car towed to here to see if they could get me in to fix it. I was told it would be days before they even got to look at it. I was forced to find some place to tow it to get it fixed quicker. I couldnt have it sitting around for days waiting to be looked at. I knew what was wrong with it, just they were backed up and they were up front about it. I appreciate that!

Love this place they do an outstanding job & theyre good & quick at what they do. I have took my 2000 Cherokee XJ to them to repair a muffler that meineke in Greenwood took 6+ hours to put on & ended up rusting into 2 pieces. Today took my F150 to have new duals & chrome tips put on did it in less time then they said theyd take & she sounds sweet.

Ive taken all my work and personal vehicles here for some pretty extensive work. I can trust the repairs they make. Skip always keeps me updated on repairs, gives honest advice and even explains how and why things are needed which is SO helpful for someone that isnt savvy on mechanics. First off to the people complaining about a diagnostic fee... Thats how the industry works.Im new to the area and took my car here because I needed tires. I also thought my brake pads were shot. These guys gave me a great price on the tires. Checked my brakes and they were fine! They easily could have screwed me out of 4-500 worth of repairs. But they didnt. Ill be taking my cars here from now on.

The people at Becks are not magically more knowledgeable about cars than every other place, and while they are quite reasonably priced in their services, the difference is that these guys care. They remembered me after two visits. They make jokes, they chat, they interact with you like were all human beings - depressingly rare these days. And hey, my car works and was done really quickly.

I will never go back to this shop and here are the numerous reasons why. First off, they charged me a $112 diagnostic fee just to look at the vehicle. Many shops charge this and many do NOT, but I was very surprised to learn AFTER they gave me their quote that the diagnostic fee is not credited against the cost of the repair. Most shops I have been to in the last couple of years give you credit for your repair, not charge you for the repair in addition to the diagnostic fee. The next issue I have is with their pricing. They have a very large markup on parts and seem to be on the high side with their labor rates as well. I took my 2008 Saturn Outlook in for them to look at with reduced engine power, a fairly common issue with this year and model. Their band-aid repair involved replacing two parts and a single gasket, both of which are easily accessible on the top of the engine. They quoted over $400 in parts and more than $300 in labor, which was ridiculous for this repair. I bought the parts online and replaced them myself in about an hour. My cost for the repair that they wanted to charge over $700 for: $224.40 and my own time. Finally, I cannot be 100% certain, but I believe that they damaged the rubber air duct between the MAF sensor and the Throttle Body when they were in a hurry to reassemble the parts after I told them that I was going to get a second opinion on the work. I noticed that the rubber had been torn when I went to replace the parts myself and I did not damage it. For all of these reasons, I wouldnt recommend this shop to anyone who is not prepared to be taken advantage of. I will be filing a report with the Better Business Bureau for what it is worth.

5 out of 5 stars!!!As a female, I feel I always have to be careful when taking my car to a dealership to be sure I dont get ripped off. I have nothing but great things to say about their customer service and their care for my care. I have a 2009 Vibe with 80,000 miles that I have never had serviced other than the routine oil change. When I told them this, they offered me their FREE 30-point inspection. After the inspection, it turns out I needed new brake pads (which is exactly what I was expecting). They said everything else was in great condition. When I called my husband to make sure the price was ok, he actually said it was $100 LESS than what he was expecting. In addition, they offered me a ride to wherever I was headed after I dropped off my car, and again when I needed to come pick it up.

I’ve never had a problem with Beck.The service is expedited like a well oiled machine. But there’s a personal touch to your vehicle that you don’t get with most garages.

Lying to customers all the time is not striving for customer excellence. I had a distributor put in my 94 f150, and they called me up and told me it was running worse after distributor replacement. So i just wanted it at least in the same running condition i gave it to them in. So, they said they would take another look at it the next day. He called me first thing the next morning and said it runned like a champ....wrong it was missing out so bad you wouldnt want to drive it. They gave it back in worse condition and i did give them a second chance, and he lied to me all the time, and tried blaming it on a fuel problem that magically arose while in their possession. Dont trust this shop i see alot of 5 stars, but its probably them or family rating themselves.

Terrible business practice. They misinformed my ex wife and I on charges. They tried to charge her 130 yet charged me nothing. The person I spoke to was rude,condescending, and continued to interrupt me as I was speaking. Then a while later the owner had the nerve to call and harass me!! I have no vehicle there so he had no right to call me at all!! The most horrible business experience Ive ever had with a mechanic shop!! They are a rip off to women and then will harass you for calling them out on it!!! Stay far away!!!
