I absolutely love my apartment. Its spacious, clean, maintenance gets the job done in a fashionable manner and management is nice and helpful! They keep the area and dumpster area clean. It’s quiet over here and every penny spent is worth it at Woodbridge (:
Horrible place to live in! I have been living here for three weeks and two of packages have been stolen. My car got broken into and someone was stabbed just across the street form where I live. Unsafe place!! I asked if I could move out because I have been here for three weeks at de all this has happened but they said they could not do anything about it! What a joke. The apartment I was in before during the hottest week of the summer the AC broke. I had to be in temperature of up to 90 degrees I kept on having maintainer request but they didn’t do anything about, I had to call corporate to have my AC fix.
Management has been wonderful. I have lived in many many apartments over the years. The management here have been the best I have ever experienced. They follow up, call back, follow through, they are organized, friendly, and fast. Very refreshing to experience. The apartments are a bit older but overall clean and quiet.
If you want a comfortable place to live, this apartment complex is NOT it. The management does not care for the comfort of its residents, specifically in the summertime. You can have your AC blasting all day, and your apartment will still read 82 degrees at 10:50PM. It is unbearably hot in the apartment, and the management IS aware. They sent out some heinous letter stating that the AC units just cant cool to your desired temperature. I am paying 1100 dollars in rent and 200 dollars in electric just to sit in a miserably hot apartment with 3 separate box fans on myself and my animals to keep cool, and even then its just hot air being blown on you. Management does NOT care about this issue, they say that theres nothing that they can do. 1100 a month and they cant even update these units that maintenance had said are over 10 YEARS OLD! On the hottest days, my apartment has reached up to 92 degrees INSIDE. I had to check into a hotel with my dog to ride that heat wave out.***In relation to the letter attached: its not if its 95degrees and above, it starts not properly cooling the apartment at around 79/80 degrees. There should be a basic standard of living in these apartments, and there is NOT. ALSO, the letter that Woodbridge sent out wasnt even specifically written for Woodbridge residents by Woodbridge staff, its some generic letter that the employee didnt even bother filling in (see, ) written by a generic slumlord in response to an OVERWHELMING amount complaints from the residents. I have spoken to a few dozen other residents and this is our main concern. When the time to renew my lease is up, I ABSOLUTELY will not renew. Deplorable conditions.
This is the third complex that Ive lived in Indy. This has been an amazing experience so far. The office staff (Ben and Taylor) are very nice and helpful. Ben has gone out of his way to help me many times. This is the first time I can say that about a complex office staff. Especially me being a new resident, this is extra impressive to me.Almost every single time I call the office, I get an answer. Other apartments in the past it was so tough to get ahold of someone. Not here. Maintenance is also fast and responsive. I am very pleased with the work they have done.Location is great. Fireplace is cool. Love that my balcony faces trees. The only downside is laundry is in a separate building (other floor plans may be different). However I knew this coming in so I cannot hold that against the review.Thank you Woodbridge!
Every single time we have needed something fixed they have been out so quick and are so friendly. For example our bedroom door accidentally got locked from the outsideWe called and they had someone out within the hour AND this was when they were closedWe really appreciate the maintenance men.
I lived here for four years and I thought Woodbridge was pretty good. Theyre not luxury apartments, but theyre appropriately priced and modern enough. The office staff was always nice and seemed to care. The maintenance staff was always responsive and competent. The neighborhood was usually quiet and safe.
Had an excellent experience. just completed my 15 month lease and couldnt have asked for anything better. Affordable, clean, QUIET, and safe. I worked with Garrett and he made the whole process easy and clear. Nothing shady or surprises from these guys! Great people who do great work. EVerything I wanted for a 1 bedroom. THE LOCATION CANT BE BEAT. Highly recommended
Office staff are very helpful and caring! The company overall is a great company. This apartment complex is by far the best in the area.
My children and I have lived in Woodbridge for a little over 2 years and it definitely has become our home, my lease is up in June and I looked at other communities in the area that have more bells and whistles however the office staff at Woodbridge have became an extension of my family. I have argued with the office staff and showed my a$$ inside the office due to stress and misplaced anger of being a single mom. However the office staff still loves me and treat me and my children the same like nothing ever happened ❤ I will be renewing for a 3rd year, Garrett is a great assistant manager but is more like my annoying little brother👊 Kimi is the sweetest assistant manager but is more like a stern big sister and Diane the office manager is real and down to earth and has full blown conversations with my 7yr old daughter when she comes into the office and will entertain my 1yr old son as well... You may find a fancier community in the area but Woodbridge is a family not just a complex...
I’ve lived here twice and both times have loved it.
This apartments are completely AWFUL I been her for 7 months only and theres a mouse in my apartment put a complaint so they can fix the hole so they don’t come in no more and the maintenance came and do nothing the hole is still there ....
Overall, living here for a year was just ok. The apartment was in decent (not great) shape when I moved in. I had to have a lot of things fixed. Fortunately the maintenance staff is pretty efficient and maintenance requests typically only take a day or two. That being said, the office staff is basically useless. They are disorganized, can be hard to reach, and on occasion rude. I had several problems with all of the (rotating) members of the office administrative staff. Bridget (the property manager) is the exception. If you can, I would recommended dealing with her, and doing so in person. The speed bumps are horrible and are way too extreme. Slowing down to even 5 mph does not prove to be enough to save your shocks some wear. The water pressure in my town home was also horrible, but only when dealing with hot water. Also, the pool was closed by the health department for 2-3 weeks over the summer. Im not sure what happened there. The price, size, and location are what sold me on the place. However, I am not sure whether I would live here again. Luckily I moved to a different city and never have to make that decision again.
Awful says it all! I lived there for 7 years and actually the first 5 years were great but the last 2 oh my gosh. I was consistently charged for a car port that I never owned even when I moved out. This led me to have to go to the office every month to dispute the charges. Mainentance was incredibly slow, inefficient, and even blamed me for being unable to get their work done. I.E- raccoons had moved into my deck because there was a small hole in the deck. It took them 3 months to fix. They sent out 3 different contractors all of which informed me that they would reach out to me to schedule a day to fix it since it would be a larger job. Finally I went to the office to inquire about it again because it had been a couple weeks since the last contractor came and no one had been in touch with me. When I got to the office, they were having a staff meeting. Despite not having signage up to reflect that in order to avoid interruptions, the manager very rudely asked what I wanted when I walked in. When I described the issue and asked for a date that it would be fixed by, the head maintenance man said that I refused to clean my deck off and that’s why the hadn’t fixed it yet. I had two folding chairs and a small plastic table on the deck. As mentioned before I was told I would be contacted when they were coming so I figured I would clear my deck then. After he made this statement he indicated that the people would be there that day and could fix it if I cleaned my deck off so I went directly home took the 1 min that it took to clean the deck off and called the office letting them know I was ready. Several hours go by still no one has come so I call the office who says they’ll contact maintenance. Next thing you know, the head maintenance man is at my door informing me that they need special wood to fix it....so you mean you weren’t prepared to fix it this whole time and you mean that it actually is your fault that it’s still not fixed....? This is only one of the issues that occurred in the last two years I lived there.I actually moved out a year ago and only chose to post this now because a debt collection agency just contacted me last week stating that I did not pay my move out fees for Woodbridge and now they’ve sent it to collections . Luckily, I still have records of my checks paid to them, proof they not only accepted those checks but also cashed them, and the agreement with signature for my move out payment plan. They are unorganized, rude, and do not care about the tenants in the slightest. I highly recommend avoiding these apartments at all cost!! If you do move in at the very least make sure you document EVERYTHING and keep ALL records even after you move out!
If I could give this complex 0 stars I would. This complex is the WORST! Please dont rent here; my apartment is infested with raccoons, raccoon urine, & pet hair from the previous tenant. I cant sleep because of this issue & they show me no concern. The management team & corporate(Gene Glick) arent doing anything about it; They want to charge me for breaking the lease even though the reason Im breakimg my lease is because of the raccoons. Ive been calling & complaining since April 24,2019 & they still dont care. P.S. I moved into this complex in February 2019! I wouldnt recommend my worst enemy to come here. And another thing, you can pay your rent online BUT the website charges you $20 extra. DONT COME HERE..Pay the extra $100 for a better location and Apartment like Fishers or Carmel..
Cant wait to move, the binding is old, the maintenance team is understaffed and thus takes forever to get to you, and when they do get to fixing your issue... they tend to make it worse before it gets better ... So youll have to call them again and wait again... they dont offer to pay for anything or give you rent relief when they cause your power bill to go up... Also the complete lack of insulation means expect a realy big power bill come winter.... Which reminds me... Dont get a bottom floor... My pipes froze almost daily unless I ran hot water dripping which means the small water heater is running more and thus higher power bill ... Oh and it gets better... The window in my unit has a pellet/bullet holes in it.... Which I was told when I moved in would be fix .... 7 months later they have put a thin piece of clear tape over the hole.... So as you can imagine the hole in the already super thin window means higher power bill... Also a really cold bedroom... .... Long story short... Dont move here... And if for some reason youre still think about this place ... Get a 2nd floor unit ...
Such an amazing apartment complex. Great customer service! Dont have one bad thing to say about it!
The staff are excellent and really care about getting things right! I feel it’s a great value for the money and the management is quick to take care of any problems!
I love our place! I can never hear my neighbors, and our townhome is very spacious, clean, and well maintained. A little bumpy getting moved in but the office staff handled everything! They were all so nice, including maintenance. A special thanks to Lyinda for getting us taken care of!
The staff sucks!! Charged me fir fixing my garbage disposal cause a potato is what got clogged the sink. They cut the grass at 8am so forget sleeping in if you work second or third shift. Charged me for the carpet when I moved out said it is supposed to last five years, Ive lived there for over two years. They do not change the carpet between residents!! Gross!! They charged me a full months rent for nine days, took carpet cost out of that, and still havent seen my refund yet. Ive lived in several different apartment complexes and this has been the worst experience ever!! My next review is going to the Better Business Bureau, then the housing authority cause this place needs to be torn down and rebuilt!!
Ive lived in four apartment complexes in the past decade, and Woodbridge of Castleton is easily the best. Fantastic area with Castleton, Fishers, Carmel, and Noblesville only a short distance away. The apartments are great, and very affordable considering the area. The only thing of concern that I would advise would be to talk to Lyinda, the assistant property manager, and do it in person. The other staff arent as response or effective, and Lyinda can sometimes get overwhelmed. But she is an amazing manager and without a doubt the edge that Woodbridge has over other places.
Overall a good place to stay. Staff had improved since I moved here 3 years ago.
My boyfriend and I were moving from Fort Wayne and got screwed around by 2 other apartment complexes in Indy before stumbling across Woodbridge of Castleton online. We knew of Woodbridge Apartments in Fort Wayne, so we had high expectations of the complex when we first pulled up to Woodbridge in Castleton. We went to check it out and explained to Tyler, the manager who was working, that we needed to move in immeadiatley- as the other 2 apartment complexes we had looked at drained most of our resources, wasted our time, and put us in an emergency situation with our 4 month old son. Not only was Tyler and every staff member in the office understanding and extremely compassionate of our situation, but they were also able to get us approved and had an address for us and a lease agreement ready to sign all in about 4 hours time. He/ they truely improved our lives with his/ their compassion, professionalism, determination, and good business skills. We are so greatful for our new apartment home, which is clean, affordable to our budget, full of storage space, ready to move in, and in a good location that is less than 5 minutes from my boyfriends new job. Thank you Tyler and Woodbridge Apartments! Your service and complex gets an A+!
Location is great! other than that, i do not recommend this place. The staff are rude, they dont listen, and they will do anything to keep your money or have you pay more. they dont care about you or your stuff, just money, so if you are wanting to feel like home, i do not recommend this place, if you want some where kind of crazy for a high price cuz its in castelton, you found the right place. be careful of the speed pumps, there are god awful, and if you want to swim in the pool in the summer.. good luck they always shut it down due to kids and parents not watching them they dont plow very well, ive lived at other apartments and i have never had to DRIVE to the complex because they WOULD NOT PICK up the phone OR ANSWER an email. the office hours are pretty inconvenient if you work 8-5 like a normal person as well. and if you want to come in at 5:01 they wont let you in. so if you are crap out of luck and just need a place to stay for a year and you dont care about your stuff or how your are treated, you found your home :) oh yeah and when i was there, there was also a shooting, in the complex over drugs. great place to raise the little ones...
Absolutely horrible complex--save your money and do NOT rent from them. Maintenance team is insufficient, new management team rude and disrespectful of tenants, and your apartment will forever smell from poor air filters.
I called to inquire about an apartment. Staff was very rude and unpleasant. Not a good brand for your company.
Terrible management!
GENE B. GLICK!!!
