Love this place! I just recently moved to Independence and was at a loss for a new nail salon. I contacted Amys nails and they were able to get me in with an appointment right away. Dan is top-notch I have never had so many compliments and comments that mine was the most professional manicure they had seen. It was almost like he was painting a masterpiece, very precise and detailed. I have found my new home.

I didnt have an awful experience, but there was a really long wait time even after I had called in and made an appointment for two people. We were sat for around 30 minutes before a guy came and started working on my nails and then another 30 before someone came to work on my friends nails, so I had to sit for a while until my friend was done. Nails were nice. Didnt last too long but to be fair I was doing a lot of swimming and soaking a week after getting them done.

They always know your name, professional, good prices, and they do a supurb job you on your nails in a quick amount of time.

Been going to Amy since 1997. She is awesome. Always proud of her work . Also give your feet a spa pedicure. Very relaxing.

It seems like every time I come in there as a walk-in I can never be seen so Im taking it as they dont want to service my people and thats quite fine with me take my money elsewhere where I can be appreciate and taking care of peacefully and respectfully.

I have stopped by twice as a Walk-in, but they were too busy both times. I’ll make an appointment and see if it is worth the wait. I would suggest, however, they take the Walk-ins Welcome signage off the door/ window. It’s best that customers know up front appointments ARE needed, rather than have to wait or keep coming back. If the service is decent and the price right... most won’t mind having to make an appointment... in my humble opinion.

They have exceptional customer service! My nails look great! The top coat ended up a little bubbly one one of the nails so he went and fixed not one but ALL of the nails. They are flawless. While I was getting them done it started POURING rain. Couldnt see 10 feet in front of you. So they walked me to my car with an umbrella! I will definitely be back here!

A wonderful nail care salon. I get a pedicure done here every month and my nails done every two weeks. Its clean, everyone is very professional, the pedicure chairs are comfortable and the back massagers are heaven. The prices are very reasonable. Although they do take walk-ins, they are usually so busy, you should call and make an appointment so that you wont have to wait. I highly recommend this salon.

My friend told me about this nail salon, so I decided to give it a try. And I am so glad I did. I have had my nails done here several times now and the nail technicians pay great attention to detail and deliver quality work. The pricing is very reasonable - I have paid $10 more elsewhere for poorer work. The nail technicians are also really nice and I have always received great treatment. Give them a try. They are some of the best nail technicians in this town for sure.

Ms. Amy, thank you for being the wonderful nail specialist you truly are. My nails are the best I’ve ever seen them look. My French Nails are absolutely, beautiful. I have the pink and white gelish brand. She painted my tips on as I wanted to have the option of changing the color without the white nail tip showing in my other colors. I am loyal to Amys because they work so hard to fit me in due a busy schedule, no matter how busy they are. The quality is very good, they cater to the designs I want, and they treat me like Im always welcome. I walk out of there feeling good every time! You cant say that about a lot of the nail salons Ive tried over the years!

I decided to try Amys nails because my regular nail place was closed unexpetently. So i googled for another place close by and Amys nails had good reviews. So got there around 6:30 pm and i was happy that they could still work on my nails, got my nails done and i was very pleased with the service, i love how my nails look and the price i paid was a lot better, I will be returning! My Mother-in-law and I went here to get a pedicure. We didnt ha well an appointment but were helped right away. The girls working were very nice and did a great job. Its been 2 weeks and my toes still look great. We will be going back.

Ive been a client for many years. They follow proper practices of sanitation and the shop is clean and tidy. Amy is who I book with. She has a gentle spirit and never causes discomfort in caring for my nails. Highly recommended.

Amy herself is the best nail technician I have ever had. Her nails never lift, and I have gone as long as 6 weeks where half my own nail was showing without any lifting at all. She has a gentle touch. I cannot speak as to the rest of the personnel because I only see Amy.

First visit by appointment and it was a great experience. I got a basic spa pedi. I will definitely be back!

Either they flat out lied or they dont know what theyre talking about. I was charged $42 for a gel fill, nail fix, and 4 nails in chrome.The gel fill says $18-$22The fix was $5The chrome nails were $4So I need a better explanation to why I was charged an extra $10-$11 dollars. She said it was because of the gel polish and that price of $18-$22 is for the gel powder.Im not stupid. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS GEL POWDER OR ANY HYBRID TYPE OF POWDER!!Thanks for ripping me off and probably plenty of others. Also the matte top coat didnt even cover the entire finger. Thanks, happy birthday to me🙃

I love the staff here and they all do an exceptional job, are extremely nice and make you feel comfortable! Amy remembers almost all of her customers by name from day one and a little about each person. And unlike any other salon Ive been to, The staff always does a consistently good job!

Kid talked me into going with her, we got our nails and toes done. she was super excited. the staff were very good, kind, and were able to help me out as a dad taking his girl to the place.

First time I went, I loved the place. I just went here to get a fill and the owner was very rude. Refused my service. She said was to busy. There was an hour and half wait. I said that I would come back in about an hour. She replied with um we are busy and we appointments. That would of been fine if she would of said that in the beginning. Instead she wanted be to rude. She has lost this customer.

Amys is the best! My nails last the full 2 weeks when I have them done here. Ive gone to other places around Independence, and my gel nails always start lifting within a week but this salon does it the best.

So, I just went into Amys & 4 people showed up after I did, & they had appointments but they were late 4 them! So Amy told me she that it would be awhile before she got 2 me. Which I told her I had 2 be at work at 5 :30, when it was 3pm. She said sorry, they have appointments. I was clealy there before these 4 other women, & they were late 2 there own appointments! When your late, you should Not be made a priority! Totally not fare! So this is what your dealing with, at this salon!!!!!!

Very dismissive to customers and I felt that even though I was a walk-in and willing to wait they were eager to just Deal with me and send me out of there. I come to relax and be pampered and pay good money but the customer service was disappointing..literally peeking their head out to ask what did i want and you have to wait 3 hours. Wont recommend them or their services. But TK Nails on 23rd is awesome.

Great place for a manicure or pedicure.

No ventilation, and while they did a decent job on my wifes manicure, the woman who did her pedicure couldnt get the nail polish bottle open (she eventually used pliers) and, to make matters worse, added nail polish remover to the polish so it could be applied to my wifes toenails... Obviously, the pedicure didnt last more than a couple days at best. They also didnt offer the same options for pedicures (no gel polish in the same color as the manicure) - odd, to say the least.

Reasonable pricing and meticulous work. Best manicure Ive ever had! Will definitely return.

My daughter got her nails done for prom here. We were in there Friday April 6, 2018. Got a complete set of nails. Paid $30, and the nails all fell of by today April 12, 2018. Definitely not worth $4 dollars a day. Very disappointed
