Our refrigerator and freezer stopped working after 3 years of owning it. We had a 5 year warranty, but when I called LG, they scheduled an appointment which they canceled on the day they were to come out. When I called to reschedule it would be a month before they could come out. We went for a month living out of coolers, becauseLG would disconnect me everytime I called. They would put me on hold, then the phone would disconnect. In tears and so frustrated, I called Allstar Appliance, told them everything that was going on, and Rene got the ball rolling and I had an appointment the next Monday. They came out, quickly figured out what was wrong, but when they talked to LG, they didn’t have the part. It was on back order, so they got on the phone and found the exact part somewhere else, ordered it for me, payed the shipping, and when it arrived at their shop, they tested it there to make sure it was working, brought it out and installed it. They will be the only place I ever call for appliance repair!! I absolutely love this company and the people that work there! I love them all! ! I was referred to this business by my LG warranty service provider. The soonest they could come out to repair my washer was 10 days from the initial call. Repair man was friendly and on time, however he was unable to fix the washer and needed to order a part. I called the following week to see when the part would be in. Left a message and was never called back. Called the next day and was put on hold for 19 minutes while the receptionist was looking for my paperwork. The lady returned to tell me that my part should be here on the 20th. The 20th came and no call to schedule the repair. I called on the 21st, put on hold for over 10 minutes and the lady said she needed to talk to her manager about my part, but the manager was in meeting; she would call me back. At this point I started getting nervous that I was getting the run around. This marked week 3 with no washer. I googled this company and my heart sank as I read the poor reviews. I gave the lady an hour and called back asking to speak with the manager. The manager then proceeded to tell me that they had not ordered my part yet. I should call LG and figure it out with them; that she hadn’t ordered the part because it was out of stock and she didn’t want to order it and then get stuck with paying for the part if we ended up not using it. (Ummm, if I need the part, and it’s under warranty, why would you be stuck with it or the cost?). The LG people told me that without her placing the order, they couldn’t send the part, which make sense. At this point I have logged more minutes on the phone with LG, I may qualify for an employee discount. So, now 4 weeks later, still no word on when I will have a functioning washer. I’m stuck in laundry purgatory until these people figure it out, but from the sound of it, I’m just another 1 start review, echoing a story already told by many others on here.
I worked here. I was terminated when I had covid. I have first hand knowledge that they dont order parts when they say they do because they dont have the money to pay their employees and order parts half the time. They lie, cheat, and steal their way up the ladder. They bribe people with money off their service for good reviews. They also have their employees place fake reviews. Please know that these people are not the sweet, family owned company they try to sell themselves as. The techs are wonderful, but the owners are awful. Just look at the other reviews from customers who clarify just how bad they are.
The driver of the black Jeep makes this company look terrible. They drove recklessly down the highway with clear disregard for human life. Swerving and speeding and making illegal turns around traffic doesn’t make for a good advertisement.

I didnt visit this place.I was on vacation with my grandkids and a driver for this company evidently got mad because I was not going fast enough in the fast lane and went around all the traffic got on front of me and slammed his brakes and kept doing it almost causing me to wreck.I tried to call the manager or owners and talk to another employee.No one never called me back.The guy should have been fired.
A tech named Sean (sp?) came and fixed my oven today. He was extremely knowledgeable and very professional. Im so happy it was fixed so quickly!
**SCAM ALERT - AVOID AT ALL COSTS**Called the insurance company to get my fridge looked at.These guys came out, had a look told me whats the deal - three parts out and broken.Waited weeks, weeks, kept calling, weeks later, weeks more later, then I just got upset called these guys and got on the phone with the owner - these guys are whispering playing guys, cant understand how this is my deal they cant get the part.Ended up having to give up on these guys, called the insurance company, one week later another company shows up, in-out-boom-bang - honest, straight forward guy changes the part in an hour - just one part and he showed me where it was burned.Here I am almost two months later and now I got my fridge back in an hour.These guys are real scandalous crooks, I believe that they are involved in high-end insurance fraud scam involving used parts, aka billing for new parts and then giving used parts either from the US or cheap off brand boards from you know where, and then give giving 60 parts and 30 day warranty which we all know how thats gonna go.Long story short, avoid at all costs these guys are really out to take you for a ride. Dont even bother chancing it with these clowns, no matter how sweet they might be on the phone. Make the move, pick up the phone and call your insurance company, do not be scared of these con artists.

They have educated techs that are on-time and highly professional. Renee (Office Manger) is great! She went above and beyond and personally called me to update me on my appliance report and status with my warranty company. WOW-I cant express how much that meant!
This is by far THE WORST company!! Never received a call back to schedule an appointment for them to fix my washing machine. When I called 24 hours later to make sure they received my request through my home warranty she said ya we received it....... we’ll call you. Never heard from them. I tried calling that same day before they closed to schedule and I got their voicemail.No surprise they have an F by the BBB.Can’t get much worse than that.I’m sorry but your response is not correct at all. I made the service order through my home warranty on Sunday September 20 at 1:34p.I knew you were closed sunday which is why I waited til 24 hours to call on Monday. The girl on the phone should’ve handled it right then and there. I kept calling to catch you guys before you closed at 5 on Monday because no one had called me back. I even left a message on your answering service.I called my home warranty place AFTER you closed Monday to get another service provider, there were none. So they reinstated the service order and left you a message themselves to call me ASAP Tuesday 9/22.Tuesday morning came and at 10:15 I still hadn’t heard from you I then called them back and cancelled for good.You had 2 messages regarding my order Tuesday that should’ve been returned, even if my order was cancelled and you failed to do that.Your reviews on here speak for themselves, along with a manager that is going to try and place blame on the customer.And let me finish by saying this is the first time I have ever left a bad review. In my opinion I hate to do that to businesses, maybe they were having a bad day, equipment wasn’t working right or whatever. I believe everyone deserves a fair shot, especially during these times. Businesses are struggling to stay open, and I always try to support the small local businesses. But the customer service that has been given by you and your company the past couple of days is not acceptable.I hope you take these reviews both good and bad and build from them.
I just have to thank All Star for great work all around! My appointment was scheduled right away, and my replacement parts arrived two days later! Will was awesome! He educated me about our unit and was able to get the parts that I didnt think he could get. He also made sure that if he had a question he couldnt answer, he called someone to find it out for us! Very professional, attentive, and knowledgeable. Thank you for great customer service!

I had to call 3 times to make an appointment myself for a part they had sitting in their store. The repair men are wonderful. The office staff will not return your calls. Very poor service.
All star appliance came out through my home warranty to fix my refrigerator that another company couldn’t fix. They fixed the front control board as a wire was cut in the door. They also fixed the ice maker. Everything seems to work fine and really nice guys that came out.
Our warranty company contracted with All Star to repair our stove. The technician was great-- super respectful of the fact we have someone in a high risk category in the house and was overall great to work with. Issue with the stove got fixed with no hassle.
Sad but our story is similar to the previous complaint!! This company LIED!! This company does HORRIBLE business!! They NEVER returned to fix our washer they kept saying they were waiting on a part! 5 weeks later we call them to see what is going on and the lady in the office said we was suppose to order the part, LIE!!Do Not Do Business w/All Star
30 yr. old dryer (stopped heating) claim with my home warranty company....I placed the phone call and thus All Star called me to set up a time for the technician to look at the unit. After I thought about it more, I decided to just replace the unit instead of repairing a 30 year old dryer. I have to say though, All Star made every attempt to match up schedules with our working schedules...they were very responsive to our phone calls, they reached out to us as well to try and get the job completed. Their level of customer service (although I made the decision to replace vs. repair) was very impressive! So I greatly appreciate that!! Great to talk with over the phone. Customer Service is currently lost in todays world and I believe this company is making strides to uphold a great level of C.S. So, for that, thank you! If I need anything in the future for appliance repair, Ill certainly request them.
Awful business, called into my home warranty and this is the company that is suppose to fix my oven for 7 weeks and counting now. My warranty company said I would receive a phone call from them to set up an appointment to come out and look at my oven, after waiting a week with no call I had to call them to set up an appointment. Of course had to wait another week for a technician to come out between 1-5, he showed up at 4:30... have received no updates or anything, I have made 2 calls and when they actually answer office phones, keep getting told part is on order, such a generic response. So far oven isnt fixed and no updates from this company!
All of the field staff that has been out to my house has been very friendly and professional. However My fridge after two months is still not fixed and working properly. I also feel that the office staff is a bit unprofessional. I have had people out I want to say at least 4 times and each time they give you a 4 or 5 hour time block. I also got the speech about how the tech will call me when he is on his way and if I dont pick up hell wait 10 minutes then try again, and if I dont pick up hell have the office call me and then move on. My last appointment was supposed to between 9am-1pm and at 12:50 when I still didnt have a call from them I had to call them. I understand that their time is important to them, but my time is also important. When they missed my appointment all they gave me was another time frame of between I want to say 1-5 that same day. However I had rescheduled all my morning work meetings to the afternoon to make myself available. I asked if I could have a better time frame because of my meetings and the girl said she would call me back after she talked to the tech. I never received this call and I had to leave an important meeting to meet the tech. I called the office and the office manager said the person on the phone should have never told me that because it wasnt there policy to give out better time frames. It is just really frustrating to rearrange your whole day to make time for someone, and my fridge still isnt working, sad day.

I wish I could post the video I made of this company when I went to complain and they called the police on me. They kept putting me on hold because I missed the call and called them back 12 min later. Then told me it was too late and I would have to make another appt 10 days later I told them I was going to leave a bad review and she hung up in my face I called back and was told I had an appt on the 31st of aug but I wanted to speak to someone about the employee hanging up in my face. When I got to the business they had locked the door so I called the number and asked to speak to whomever was in charge she got on the phone and told me that she had called the police on me and they were on the way. I asked why did you call the police and she lied and said I threatened her employee I said no I told her I would give your company a bad review and asked why the tech couldnt turn around how can you give me a 5 hour window but I cant get 15 min. I got off the phone with her and went to leave when 2 independence police officers pulled up on me which led to me being taken out of the car and it being searched. Dont use this company.
Unreliable and dont really care about customers. They take down your details promising to call you back but they never did.
Renee and her team were wonderful to work with. She kept me informed the whole way through. She got the manufacturer to pay for repairs on our refrigerator when we didn’t know they would even do it. Our repair man was on time, courteous, clean and fixed it right the first time. We couldn’t be happier! We will definitely use them again, and do recommend.
Our 12yr old LG washer popped up an error code and stopped working. Gave All Star a call ( before we replaced the washer.) Alex came by the next day to diagnose (along with the thermistor) that he thought could be the culprit. 30+ minutes later the washer was back up and running. (bought me some extra time before I may need to replace)Very prompt and courteous service. Thanks Alex, thanks All Star.

All Star Appliance waited a week to even order the part for our refrigerator. Everytime weve contacted All Star Appliance theyve had no idea what was going on and kept giving us the run around. Why is the customer calling to see the status of their part? Shouldnt you guys reach out and keep your customers informed? If it wasnt for my home warranty I wouldve never done business with this establishment.

Chris was “AWESOME” I had 2 other companies come out to fix my appliances and one resulted in me having to replace floor in kitchen and the other cost me $200 for microwave door I didn’t need. Chris came in and located problems quickly and fix both of them. Thanks Chris!!!!!
Horrible experience!! Never fixed the dishwasher, broke apart and would take messages and never call back. Beware do not use!!! Rene, the office manager, would say she would check on it. Never did anything but lie to the home warranty company. Tried to resolve but when comforted by the warranty company (a three way call), she hung up. DO NOT USE!!
Came out on home warranty call. Stove Top not working. They replaced a part, still did not work. They said it was a breaker. I replaced the breaker, still did not work. Called for another trip out to solve the problem and they were a no-show. Was told I would be called right back and did not receive a call until two days later after I called to check on the delay. Called home warranty and had another company come out to finish the work......Very disappointing experience.

Charlie took the time to wait for my dishwasher to cycle, took another step to diagnose what was wrong, which the previous repairman had not and had attributed it to being installed wrong and then charged for service call. Then Charlie did the research to find a less expensive part than what was required by the brand I had, and then followed up with second service call which then resolved my several month issue and only charged me 30 dollars more than the previous repairman from another company charged me for doing nothing. I am beyond impressed. Honest, polite and good follow thru.

This company has been out 3 or 4 times since January to fix a refrigerator, still not fixed. Another company had to come and clean the mess, and noted that the reported parts that were supposedly replaced were not.Hopefully this isn’t true because fraud and legal fees from the insurance company won’t be fun for anyone.

If I could give this company a zero I would.I have never dealt with such rude people.First, of all they accused me of never calling them back to make an appointment which is a lie as I have phone records.Next, the day of my appointment, I was at home waiting for them to come. I looked at my phone at 11:34 and saw I just missed a call. I called right back at 11:39 to be told that my appointment had been canceled because I didnt answer the phone at 11:23. I was confused as to why they would cancel a standing appointment because I didnt answer the phone. Plus, I called right back after I missed the call. Their employee Jordan told me that this was the same issue with you the last time. I asked what she was referring to and she said Choice Home Warranty is not allowed to make appointments for us, and you didnt call us back to set your appointment. The thing is, I did call back. And those are the phone records I have.Second, the manager says that since I didnt answer the phone, they were unwilling to waste gas to come out to my house. And then he keeps aggressively talking about it has been there policy for 5 years. I asked for the policy in writing. And then I proceed to tell him the times I called his office back.He told me he wasnt going to complete the work. That I needed to call my warranty company back to find another company to fix my microwave.I forgot to mention that the rude owner of the company literally hung up in my face. Like, seriously got an attitude because I asked him if I could speak. He hung up the phone. Way to go business owner.Again, all of this is because I stepped away from my phone for 10 minutes. Should it really be a requirement that I answer the phone for a standing appointment, and should my entire appointment really be canceled if I called the company back within 2 minutes of noticing I missed a call. Apparently the appointment means nothing.Avoid this company at all costs!!You can say whatever you want about calling me, however, I HAD AN APPOINTMENT. I HAD AN APPOINTMENT, and I HAD AN APPOINTMENT.The company that ultimately fixed my unit actually laughed when I told them the reason your company wasnt repairing my unit. And he asked, but didnt you have an appointment--of course I did.So come up with whatever justification you want to, it does not make what you did right. Furthermore, I did not curse or scream at anyone. And the last person I spoke with was you. And from how I remember, you were the one screaming with the attitude and hung up on me. If that is how you choose to run your business that is on you!Anyhow, you have several reviews of poor customer service, so customers have more than my review to go on.
Awful experience with ASAR. They have been out 3x to fix our refrigerator and failed. When told the refrigerator was fixed and it wasnt, we asked them to send their tech back out to finish the job but were told we would have to wait another 3-4 days since they were booked. They did not set expectations properly and their senior technician provided no customer service, just defensive excuses. A terrible experience - find a different place to go.
If I could give 0 stars I honestly would, I will be reporting this company to BBB. After over $1,000 in parts to repair a fridge that won’t cool past 40 degrees, when set at 33, they on their 4th visit to my home in a span of 2 months decide that a fridge not cooling past 40 degrees is considered within in specs of functional. If this is within specs of functional why waste $1000 on parts? Why take the call at all and instead instruct me this is normal? This company is a scam.
Spent 3 months with this service provider to fix my refrigerator. The results are my refrigerator is still not working after 100 days back and forth with the service.The service was covered by some home warranty due to some product issue.Really sad that all the time is wasted and spent lots of time and money on it. Should buy a brand new fridge from the first beginning. Do NOT waste time on hiring those fixing services. Expensive and frustrating.

Very incompetent technician and poor customer service. Choice Home Warrantee Company sent them to my house to check on my cooktop oven. The All Star Appliance technician didn’t have any clue what to do. He had to make phone call to his boss. He gave a decision without even opening the oven that it was an electrical circuit breaker problem not an issue with the oven. Choice Home Warrantee sent another electrician from different company to verify that there was no problem with the circuit breaker. The follow-up experience with the All Start Appliance to fix the oven was even worse. Very poor customer service. I requested Choice Home Warranty not to send All Start Appliance again to my house for any future repair.

I have to give credit where credit is due. Called my home warranty compny for a water dispenser issue on my fridge. Charlie came out and diagnosed the problem, ordered replacement part and it came in about a week. Charlie came back out and installed the new part and so far so good.
Horrible service. They take forever to come back out and actually fix something. They dont take responsibility for anything. Broke a part on my appliance. Said theyd replace it and never did. Blamed it on someone else. Id never use this company again.

LG has bad compressors, should have been recalled, came out, replaced the compressor. The unit a week later started to loose freezing, and he warned me that it may do that and he may have to add some fee-on. Next day, it is fixed.. My house was a mess because I was in the middle of a move; however, real professional.
Charge 69.00 to tell me its not cooling which i knew and only tested compressor said they be back never returned
