I have been very pleased with Leymasters. The cost to have rings sized or repaired has been less than what other jewelers have quoted. They do quality work. Very friendly.

Needed to get a ring resized and a stone added to it, so I dropped by this store. I gave them the ring and a few other items to potentially be used in trade for the work to be assessed. The woman at the counter was nice enough and took down my information saying that their goldsmith should be able to look at it a couple of days later. So far, so good. Fast forward to when I should have heard something, and I call the store with no answer. I assume there are probably customers in the store and can appreciate prioritizing people who come in to do business, so I dont sweat it too much. I do not leave a message because based on other reviews, they dont seem to get back with folks this way. So I try three more times throughout the morning and still do not get an answer. Once or twice I can understand, but Idaho Falls isnt exactly busting with folks going jewelry shopping on a Wednesday morning, so I get the feeling the calls are not making it through. At this point, I start to get nervous that Ive left jewelry with a place that I cant communicate with, so I go back into the store. The same woman is there and I tell her I dropped some things off to be assessed and about the ring I wanted a quote for and she again says that their goldsmith is out of town. Now as Im not very familiar with the jewelry business, I could be under the false impression that a store holding onto someones jewelry for days on end without any updates or concrete timelines is cause for alarm, but I wasnt exactly comfortable with how laid back they seemed to be about when I would hear back from them. I understand that things happen unexpectedly, but a quick update would have been nice. In addition, when I asked about the phone calls, I was met with skepticism and asked to verify the exact times I called. I asked the woman if she could understand why the shifting timelines and lack of communication would make me nervous about working with them, and she said that I should take my items with me as I left. The ease of getting my jewelry back is probably the only reason Im giving them two stars, and I only later realized she didnt even ask for the claim check... Anyways, my issue with this business stems primarily from communication issues: no updates on when things would get done, difficulty getting them on the phone.

I had a horrible experience, the woman that works there is so unprofessional & was so rude to me. Shes nice to you only if you give them service, but nasty to you if you find someone else that will give you a better price. She knows nothing about Customer Service. I wanted 2 rings sized, she quoted me $35 each. I found another place lots cheaper, so naturally, I wanted to save money, when I went to get the rings back, she was so rude to me. I couldnt believe the attitude she gave me!! I was even upset my 3 kids had to hear her be snappy with me. My parents used to be loyal customers, but after I told them about how that lady acted towards me, they said they will never go back.
