The Elwood office staff are TOP NOTCH!!!! Theyre so helpful and kind!! They had a job for me within a week of applying with them. The wage is competitive, and Im in a comfortable location where the fellow workers are cheerful and nice. Although it is a temp job, I hope I get to stay where they sent me for a long time. I filled out information online through the website and got asked the same questions again when they called. What’s the point of filling out the information on the website?!! Was offered two temp jobs that went against what I filled out online. Then was asked questions that I filled out online. Do they not read the profile or just look for the name and number?!! What a waste of time and absolutely will not use that company. I’m surprised the ratings are so high.

I went in today. They were very careful about their COVID safety procedures, which I really appreciate. I don’t always remember my mask and I should. They were nice enough to remind me. It has been so encouraging to gain employment during the COVID-19 crisis. The hiring experience was fast and easy, and Nicole was very helpful with answering questions and providing information. This happened back in the fall but it was such a terrible experience I had to write this review. I applied for a security job at a potato plant (Idaho Pacific) through Elwood. I was told this was a temporary job that could transition into a permanent position after 30 days, if things worked out. After a drug test, orientation at the plant, and only one day of training, the job stopped all communication with me. They wouldnt return my calls about when my next shift was. Turns out that my security job that was supposed to last weeks only lasted 1 day because I was replaced by an electronic gate and no one told me.Elwood did a terrible job communicating with me. They told me my job was at least good for a couple weeks and then didnt even tell me I was fired. This was the worst employment experience Ive ever had. I would never work with them again or recommend anyone else do it either.

From day 1 the people here were very kind and eager to help me in the best of their abilities. The office was always a very fun place to go onto and everyone was extremely kind! I went in on a Friday and was out to a job Tuesday morning. I love the job Im at, but they close for a month between Halloween and Thanksgiving. I called Elwood and they have two days of work at $15 an hour set up for the first two days after i get back, and Ill hear about more tomorrow. I am so happy to be working with this company. Very unreliable. They will say they NEED you to go into work, because the employer is in need of people to help work. And they stress how much they need you. But when you get to the job site, they send you home because they dont need you. They already have enough workers. And this cycle repeats, to the point of Elwood Staffing blaming yourself for being unreliable as a worker when in reality, the work they are providing that is in NEED of us really doesnt exist and is completely unreliable. On top of that, Crystal Alexander wont let you talk. She will interrupt you and get mad if you correct her interrupting you. You have to have a lot of patience if you want to work here for a few hours a week. Better off going somewhere else. Unreliable business.
